Welcome to Day + 42 and uncharted waters with numerous hidden shoals that can cripple or sink the U.S. Ship of State…
It is unlikely (improbable) that the Courts. Legislatures, or the Congress on January 6, 2021, is willing to challenge a U.S. election, no matter how corrupt it may seem. It takes one Representative and one Senator in each of the disputed states to challenge the electoral results. It appears that the Michigan Governor used State Troopers to block GOP electors from meeting to send an alternate slate of electors to the Archivist as did other states.
Yesterday was YUGE!
Joseph Biden formally became the President-elect of the United States, and Kamala Harris, the Vice President-elect…
Electoral College makes it official: Biden won, Trump lost
"The Electoral College formally chose Joe Biden on Monday as the nation’s next president, giving him a solid electoral majority of 306 votes and confirming his victory in last month’s election. The state-by-state voting took on added importance this year because of President Donald Trump’s refusal to concede he had lost." <Source>
With 270 votes needed to win the presidency, Joe Biden received 306 electoral votes while Donald Trump received 232 electoral votes. The official count of the electoral ballots will be conducted on Jan. 6 in a joint session in Congress.
President Trump’s chances to remain in office now rest with the Congressional acceptance of the Electoral vote without challenge in a theoretical exercise with such low probability as to approach “non-existent.”
The United States Attorney General announces his resignation, effective December 23, 2020…
Attorney General William Barr is resigning from the Justice Department, effective December 23rd, with a pleasant laudatory letter to President Trump. The President reacted via Twitter.
Deputy Attorney General Jeff Rosen will become Acting Attorney General after Barr departs on December 23, 2020, and Richard Donoghue will become Deputy Attorney General.
From the viewpoint of an outside observer, it appears that AG Barr was tired of the Trump attacks on his ineffectiveness to protect a president, much like Bobby Kennedy protected JFK and Eric Holder protected Obama. Witness the complaints that Durham did not issue even a preliminary report before the election, Barr failed to inform the public of the two investigations of Hunter Biden before the election, and worst of all, Barr’s statement that his people haven’t found convincing evidence of election fraud that would be sufficient to alter the outcome of the election. We do not know if Barr reacted to some other scheme by the President to release information on his own or other egregious act that would warrant his resignation.
A strategic lesson on relying on tech tyrants and “single point of failure” systems to run your personal and professional life…
Those “pink dots” indicate a massive outage affecting major services on the Google platform. Whether by intent or accident, this is an example of how your life and income can be disrupted and/or destroyed by an unjustified reliance on internet connectivity and third-party proprietary tools.
It should also be noted that there is no recourse for your losses of time or money built-in to the unilateral “take it or leave it” terms of services agreements.
The best practices are to have your critical data backed-up and under your control. As for critical functions such as discovering your company, products, or services using a search engine, you are at the mercy of an unknown algorithm and possibly malignant actors within the vendor or their outside contractors. A clear and present danger of being held hostage to tech tyrants with all of their quirks and foibles.
And it is not just the productivity programs, but it could also affect devices that use these services, the so-called IoT (Internet of Things).
Gmail, YouTube, Google Docs, and other Google services hit by massive outage
“Multiple Google services and websites including YouTube, Gmail, Google Assistant, and Google Docs were down for around an hour on Monday morning after being hit with a widespread outage. Google acknowledged the issues with Gmail, affecting both its business and personal services, at 6:55AM ET, and said the problem was fixed for the “vast majority” of users at 7:52AM ET. Identical notices were posted across the status pages for the rest of Google’s services.
The world’s dependence on Google services led to a truly staggering number of reports on DownDetector, with the number of reported YouTube problems peaking at over 100,000. Some users found YouTube was still functional if they visited it in an incognito browser without signing in. Google Workspace apps like Docs and Meet were also down.
Users also reported that smart home gadgets integrated with Google Assistant were experiencing issues. We verified that a Nest Hub smart display was unable to control a connected smart heater, for example.
Third-party apps and services that rely on Google’s back end services, like Pokémon Go, were also hit by problems.
The outage was worldwide. We verified that services experienced issues in the US, UK, Netherlands, and Japan, and DownDetector’s outage reports spanned the globe.” <Source>
Many users Tweeted that their “smart house had become stupid” or that “connecting all my lights to the Google hub feels like a fatal error.” RT (Russia Times – a Russian propaganda network) even highlighted the story – perhaps as a warning of what might happen in the future?
Forget the tech tyrants; consider the effect of state-sponsored hackers or other bad actors, some with physical access and the “keys to the kingdom” to our critical infrastructure…
A data leak shows that over two million Chinese Communist Party members were secretly embedded in organizations around the world including India
“In a explosive data leak, around two million Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members who got secretly embedded in some of the world's biggest companies, banks, media groups, universities and government agencies, have been exposed.
'The Australian' newspaper obtained the leaked database which apart from the names of around two million CCP members, has their party position, birth-date, national ID number and ethnicity.
Among the companies mentioned in the list are manufacturers such as Boeing and Volkswagen, pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer and AstraZeneca, and banks like ANZ and HSBC. As per the documents, around 600 people at HSBC, Standard Chartered banks are CCP members.” <Source>
And then there was the release of a "forensic audit" conducted by a third-party company whose principal is a partisan politician and executive...
After reading the 23-pages of the so-called forensic audit report, with redactions of unknown material, and which contained extraneous information relating to the ownership of Dominion and its relation to foreign actors, I am not impressed. I was expecting the petitioner to use a well-known group of security experts with serious election system design and integrity issues. Without further information on the examiners and a more detailed report, I consider this effort to be little more than a cursory look at the information in order to seek judicial approval of a wider -- including operational -- exam of the equipment and a code review of the numerous updates applied to the system some after the election in violation of existing regulations. That the state's election officials have a vested interest in covering-up their own malfeasance, misfeasance, or nonfeasance is obvious.
There are other science-based solutions like the ones described by IT expert Jovan Hutton Pulitzer, who patented QR scanning devices, who may have the technology that may easily scan through all the physical mail-in ballots, compare with the captured images to look for inconsistencies and forgeries. Absolute proof from absolute science? Want to see more? Check out the video.
This is not a confluence of bad luck or even bad news. It may be the precursor to the removal of Joe Biden from office, voluntarily or involuntarily using the 25th Amendment. Our enemies appear poised to strike while America stands divided against itself, infiltrated by enemies and professional activist/agitators (aka “community organizers”), and led by an ineffective, corrupt, or compromised cadre of progressive communist individuals.
To say we are screwed is an understatement.
