JEWS: WHY YOUR SEDER PLATE MIGHT BE MISSING THE MOST IMPORTANT INGREDIENT, COMMON SENSE
There is no doubt in my mind that too many liberal American Jews, mostly progressive Marxist democrats, are prioritizing opposition to former President Donald Trump over taking meaningful action against the rising tide of Islamist-driven anti-semitism, particularly on college campuses.
Even the most traditional fighters of anti-Semitic hate have been compromised, especially the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), one of the most prominent Jewish advocacy organizations in the United States. Not so coincidentally, the ADL is headed by Jonathan Greenblatt, a former Obama administration official who ignores the fact that Obama is anti-America, anti-White, and a pro-Islamicist anti-Semite who advocated for a nuclear Iran to check Israel’s power in the region.
The same Iran that has sworn to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth. Who threatens to kill the "Little Satan" (Israel) before moving on to the "Big Satan: (America).
I find it detestable that the ADL and their fellow travelers continue to resist President Trump’s initiatives to crack down on campus anti-semitism, including deporting foreign students who promote violence against Jews or support Hamas.
How is it possible that prominent Jewish Democrats demonstrate continued ideological loyalty to liberal values and institutions, even when those institutions have become hostile to Jews and Israel? Are they more concerned with maintaining their alliances and status within elite circles than with protecting Jewish students or confronting the left-wing ideologies (like critical race theory and DEI) that have normalized anti-Semitism?
As we approach Passover, one of the most important and widely observed holidays in the Jewish calendar, commemorating the exodus of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, the holiday should serve as a reminder of Jewish unity and the struggle for freedom.
However, it appears that many progressive Marxist Jews are “reimagining” the traditional Passover seder to accept, or even prioritize, a hostile foreign ideology over Jewish history and survival.
The Passover seder is a ritual meal held on the first (and often second) night(s) of Passover. It’s the most widely practiced Jewish ritual, even among secular Jews. Key parts of the seder include:
There are many rewritten or modernized Haggadahs that omit, modify, or reinterpret traditional passages: “In every generation…” Traditional meaning and why some omit it: A sober reminder of recurring anti-semitism and divine deliverance. Critics argue it promotes a victim mentality, fatalism, or unnecessary focus on persecution, especially when trying to emphasize universalism or interfaith solidarity. “Pour out Your wrath…” Traditional meaning and why some omit it: A cry for justice against those who oppress or threaten Jews. Critics claim it’s considered too harsh or vengeful, especially in interfaith or politically progressive settings. Some feel it conflicts with messages of peace, compassion, or reconciliation.

In remembrance...
Palestinian militants kidnapped members of the Bibas family from their home at the Nir Oz kibbutz in Southern Israel on October 7, 2023, and brutally murdered the mother and her two children. After 484 days in captivity, the husband, Yarden, was released on February 1, 2025.
Bottom line…
Regardless of one’s views of President Trump, it is a moral imperative to support those who fight against anti-Semitism and for the survival of the State of Israel. To do otherwise is an abject betrayal of the Jewish people and your heritage.
How can Jews, in good faith and conscience, support those who openly celebrate the barbaric savages who murdered, raped, tortured and kidnapped men, women, and children? Or those who cheer their activities and pray for more Oct. 7 massacres of Israelis?
We are so screwed.
