WE HAVE OUR ANSWER: ZELENSKYY IS A DEMOCRAT DUPE!
In yesterday’s blog, we asked, “Is Zelenskyy Playing with the Democrats, Hoping for a Congressional Win in 2026?” Today, we apparently have our answer.
Democrats Encouraged Zelensky to Scoff at a Possible Peace Deal, Setting Up Oval Office BlowoutDemocrat Senator Chris Murphy (CT) and presumably others encouraged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to reject the prospect of a peace deal without so-called “security guarantees” (a euphemism for American military commitments) just before the now-infamous Oval Office blow-out. Attending that meeting and glad-handing with left-wing partisans who do not want peace because it would make them look bad was a colossal mistake by Zelensky. He needed to go into the Oval Office with a reconciliatory attitude. No one was asking him to sign a peace deal with Russia on the spot. All Trump wants to do is hold talks. Ukrainian leaders would still hold the right to reject ceasefire terms if they saw fit. That’s what makes this entire thing so mind-numbing. There was no reason for Zelensky to do what he did. Trump was ready to give the bag away on a very Ukraine-friendly mineral rights deal. To blow that up served no purpose whatsoever. Details of any possible ceasefire could be hashed out much later and not in a way meant to embarrass the president and vice president. Zelensky needs to understand that these Democrats have no power. The Biden administration is gone, and Republicans control both the Senate and the House. Chris Murphy isn’t going to be writing Ukraine a check. All he and his cohorts can do is virtue-signal, and that’s not winning any battles against Russia. If things are going to be patched up with the Trump White House, Zelensky has to accept that reality and stop believing that he can bully his way to American military commitments by appealing to the press and Democrats.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio explains it to Democrat shill George Stephanopoulos…
No one here is claiming Vladimir Putin is going to get the Nobel Peace Prize this year, or whether he should be The Man of the Year of the Humanitarian Association. What we're arguing here is, he has a very large country on full war footing — they're cranking out weapons now at a war-footing pace — and we need to figure out — is there a way to get them to stop the war? And the only way you're going to do that is to get Russians engaged in negotiations — something the Europeans haven't be able to do; the Biden administration wasn't able to do or didn't even try.
That's the goal, here; it's that simple. Can we try to sit with them and figure out ... what are the Russians demands? [Under] what conditions would the Russians be willing to stop this war? And we don't know because we haven't talked to them in three years. That's the singular goal, here — to bring an end to this conflict and it begins by getting them to the table.
Ultimately, like any truce — like any peace agreement, anywhere in the world — those things will have to be enforced; they'll have to be enduring; there'll have to be safeguards put in place, everybody understands that. But it begins with a first step, and that is engaging them to see if that is even possible. Because if it's not possible, then what we're looking at is a protracted stalemate, with thousands of people dying, billions of dollars pouring in, and more death and destruction, and that's not something the president wants to do. <Source>
Bottom line…
I do not know what game Zelenskyy is playing, but it is a deadly one that is costing hundreds of lives per day and the continuing destruction of his country.
I believe the bogus minerals agreement was a negotiating ploy to reach ceasefire talks, followed by some form of peace plan.
If Zelenskyy thinks he can trust the Democrats, perhaps he needs a history refresher, starting with former Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland’s color revolution in Ukraine.
As for the progressive communist democrats, did they just tell a foreign sovereign power to defy the President of the United States?
We are so screwed while Europe postures and the American taxpayers pay the bills and send military aid that depletes our stockpiles.
