CALIFORNIA WILDFIRES: WHY DEMOCRAT POLITICIANS SHOULD BE SHUNNED

Newsomefire

Unions are destroying public safety using their democrat sock puppets like California’s Governor Gavin Newsom.

Undoubtedly, both public- and private-sector unions have long held significant political influence and the ability to shape policy and decisions within California’s progressive communist democrat uniparty.

Unions and the Disbandment of Team Blaze

Team Blaze was established in 2020 to provide a volunteer-based firefighting force trained to assist in managing the growing wildfire crises in California. The unit comprised volunteers who underwent rigorous training and worked alongside professional firefighters in high-stress, high-risk environments. By 2021, Team Blaze had already proven its value during the Dixie Fire, receiving commendations from the state for its performance and efficiency.

In 2023, Governor Gavin Newsom controversially decided to disband Team Blaze, a volunteer firefighting force within the California State Guard. This decision followed the appointment of Matthew Beevers as adjutant general of the California Military Department, who promptly decommissioned the Emergency Response Command, which included Team Blaze. The disbandment was justified because the unit was “inadequately trained,” and its structure did not meet the state’s evolving needs.

There is little doubt that Beevers’ action was more about appeasing union demands than prioritizing public safety.

The firefighters’ unions played a key role in pressuring the governor to dismantle the unit. They lobbied Governor Newsom and Beevers to dismantle Team Blaze, seeing the volunteer unit as a threat to paid firefighters’ job security and compensation. With the fire season growing more intense and demanding, the unions argue that relying on paid, professional firefighters is crucial to maintaining safety standards and effectiveness in handling wildfires.

Unions and the Attack on Private Firefighters

Union-backed Los Angeles progressive communist democrats and the largest firefighter union in the state have joined forces to make public fire hydrants off-limits to private fire crews attempting to protect California homes.

With a membership of more than 35,000, California Professional Firefighters (CPF) is the largest statewide organization dedicated exclusively to serving the needs of career firefighters. It is one of the nation’s strongest and most influential public employee organizations. <Source>

Introduced by Assembly Members Isaac Bryan (D-Los Angeles) and Tina McKinnor (D-Los Angeles), California Assembly Bill 1075 would require the Office of Emergency Services “to develop regulations prohibiting privately contracted firefighters from hooking up their equipment to public water sources.”

AB 1075, as introduced, Bryan. Fire protection: privately contracted firefighters: public water sources.

Existing law establishes in state government, within the office of the Governor, the Office of Emergency Services. Existing law requires the office to be responsible for the state’s emergency and disaster response services for natural, technological, or manmade disasters and emergencies, including responsibility for activities necessary to prevent, respond to, recover from, and mitigate the effects of emergencies and disasters to people and property. Existing law, the FIRESCOPE Act of 1989, requires the office to establish and administer a program, known as the FIRESCOPE program, to maintain and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of managing multiagency firefighting resources in responding to an incident. Existing law requires the office, in collaboration with the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and the board of directors of the FIRESCOPE program, to develop standards and regulations for any privately contracted private fire prevention resources operating during an active fire incident in the state, as provided, and to develop regulations to govern the use of equipment used by privately contracted private fire prevention resources during an active fire incident, as provided.

This bill would additionally require the office to develop regulations prohibiting privately contracted firefighters from hooking up their equipment to public water sources. <Source>

Leave it to the progressive communist democrats to make a classist attack by claiming that most of the private firefighters work for insurance companies and protect the wealthiest individuals and their expensive properties and that they consume water that becomes unavailable for ordinary and underserved individuals.

Bottom line…

No special interest group in California wields more influence over state and local politics than public sector unions.

Union-backed policies in California aim to increase the union’s membership, political power, and investable pension proceeds, but when prioritized over public safety considerations, they leave California vulnerable to disasters and slow the response needed to protect its citizens.

It is time to disrupt California’s progressive communist democrats, who are primarily backed by union funding and support-- and continue to coerce politicians into disastrous decisions with unintended consequences.

We are so screwed when we allow the union-backed political machinery to control malignant progressive communist democrats who are continuing to shape California’s future.
