DEMOCRATS: THEY CAN'T RUN AN HONEST CITY OR STATE, WHAT MAKES THEM ABLE TO RUN A DISASTER RELIEF CHARITY?
Following an unmitigated political disaster, the progressive communist democrats, complete with big-name front personalities, step forward to organize and “coordinate” a big-money private—public disaster relief effort.
Governor Newsom announces LA Rises, a private-sector initiative led by Mark Walter, Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Casey Wasserman, to support swift and unified rebuilding of Los Angeles Dodgers Chairman Mark Walter, Mark Walter Family Foundation, and Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation will provide an initial commitment of up to $100 million LA Rises will support city and county efforts to help accelerate recovery LOS ANGELES — In the wake of one of the most devastating natural disasters in California history, Governor Gavin Newsom today announced the launch of LA Rises, a unified recovery initiative that brings together private sector leaders to support rebuilding efforts led by the city of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County and the State of California. The Governor has enlisted Dodgers Chairman Mark Walter, business leader and basketball legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson, and Casey Wasserman, LA28 Chairperson and President to lead and recruit others to this private sector and philanthropic effort. To seed this new effort, Dodgers Chairman Mark Walter, the Mark Walter Family Foundation, and the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation have provided an initial commitment of up to $100 million. With plans to raise additional funds through private donations, LA Rises will provide major resources aimed at helping Los Angeles communities most affected by these catastrophic fires recover and rebuild. LA Rises will marshal the full resources of the private sector, augmenting and amplifying local and state resources, to rebuild Altadena, Pasadena, the Pacific Palisades, and all impacted communities. As part of the unified effort, city and county leaders are crafting recovery plans for their communities. The state is mobilizing its resources and scale, coordinating with the federal government, and removing red tape. LA Rises will galvanize the private sector to unlock additional capital and find new and innovative tools to help communities build back faster and stronger.

I am confused. Why pick a name that is confusingly similar to an existing organization?
Conflict of Interest or Incentive?
Casey Wasserman, 50, the wealthy sports entrepreneur and philanthropist with a degree in Political Economy from the uber-liberal University of California, Berkeley, is one of the driving forces behind the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Olympics.
Bottom line…
How fast will this descend into a bureaucratic nightmare, complete with over-paid staff (friends of friends) and little accountability for grants, contracts, and business expenditures?
Having well-known celebrities and accomplished business people fronting the enterprise is no guarantee of a well-run enterprise, especially when you add politicians into the mix.
Considering the progressive communist democrat-governed shit-hole communities and homeless surrounding the wealthy disaster areas in Malibu and Pacific Palisades, I have little hope for this new initiative.
Look for organizing for the 2026 mid-term elections where the progressive communist democrats are at rick.
This appears to be a political op!
We are so screwed.
