THE FIRST STEP IN RESTORING OUR MILITARY: RESTORE ORDER AND DISCIPLINE

The first step in restoring our military is holding those who were derelict in their sworn duty accountable for their actions.

Milley-wp
The face of treason?

General Mark Milley should have been court-martialed for conduct unbecoming at the very least and probably treason when he took it upon himself to contact the enemy and subvert the powers of his Commander-in-Chief.

Gen. Milley secretly promised China he’d warn them before a US attack

During multiple secret phone calls, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley promised China’s top general that he would warn the communist nation of an impending attack from the United States, according to a new book by journalists Bob Woodward and Robert Costa.

According to excerpts first revealed Tuesday from the forthcoming book entitled “Peril,” as reported by the Washington Post, the first phone call took place on Oct. 30, 2020, just four days before the presidential election between then-President Donald Trump and Joe Biden. The second call took place on Jan. 8, 2021, two days after the storming of the United States Capitol.

“General Li, I want to assure you that the American government is stable and everything is going to be okay,” Milley told the People’s Liberation Army general. “We are not going to attack or conduct any kinetic operations against you.”

“General Li, you and I have known each other for now five years. If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time,” Milley added. “It’s not going to be a surprise.”

According to the authors, Li trusted Milley enough to take him at his word after the first call, but was more resistant in the second call.

“We are 100 percent steady. Everything’s fine,” Milley assured the Chinese general. “But democracy can be sloppy sometimes.” <Source>

I am unaware of any duty of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff that requires public comment on substantive policy issues…

Wt-hdrGen. Mark Milley: Russian woes in Ukraine should be a lesson for China on Taiwan

The Pentagon’s top general said China should carefully consider how poorly Russia is faring so far in its military operation against Ukraine as it contemplates any amphibious assault on Taiwan.

“War on paper is a whole lot different than real war,” Gen. Milley told reporters at the Pentagon. “When blood is spilled and people die and real tanks are being blown up, things are a little bit different.”

He noted that China hasn’t faced an enemy on the battlefield since the Sino-Vietnamese War of 1979. Beijing would be playing “a very dangerous game” if it attempts a crossing of the Taiwan Strait, Gen. Milley said. They don’t have the experience [or] the background to do it. They haven’t trained to [do] it yet,” he said.

[OCS: Typically, politicians and diplomats are the ones to issue warnings, not active duty generals playing to the media – which changes the tone and nature of the remarks.]

China had a largely infantry-based army with few heavy combat tanks in its inventory when Gen. Milley was commissioned in 1980.

“And then they got rich,” he said, adding that Beijing’s explosive economic growth in recent years has allowed China to “buy a military.”

Chinese President Xi Jinping recently reaffirmed that Beijing preferred the “peaceful reunification” of Taiwan but explicitly refused to rule out military action.

“They believe that it’s their day in the sun. They believe it’s, once again, time for the ‘Middle Kingdom’ to be No. 1,” Gen. Milley said. “That’s what they’re shooting for, and we are not going to allow that to happen.”

Even as it continues to pour billions of dollars of security assistance into Ukraine, Gen. Milley acknowledged that the U.S. considers China the nation’s pacing threat. Beijing is the one country in the world that has the diplomatic, military and economic power to pose a significant challenge to the United States.

[OCS: Security assistance, my ass. We are funding the military-industrial complex in a conflict that the State Department and CIA created.

Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs “Toria” Nuland was the “mastermind” behind the Feb. 22, 2014 “regime change” in Ukraine, plotting the overthrow of the democratically elected government of President Viktor Yanukovych while convincing the ever-gullible U.S. mainstream media that the coup wasn’t really a coup but a victory for “democracy.” <Source>

We see billions of dollars unaccountably wash through Ukraine – and as we have allegedly seen, some $40 million being diverted back to the Democrat Party through the bankrupt FTX scam.]

China has also stepped up military exercises around Taiwan, in part to protest the recent visit to the island by Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in August, the highest-ranking U.S. official to travel to Taipei in a quarter-century.

“China is not shy about their goal. They want to be equal to or superior militarily to the United States,” Gen. Milley said. “They’re working on that very, very hard.”

While an amphibious assault might be beyond China’s military abilities in the near term, Beijing is capable of dropping bombs and launching missiles at Taiwan, Gen. Milley said.

Attacking and seizing the island of Taiwan across the straits, putting troops on the island of Taiwan, that is a very difficult military task to do,” he said. “I think it’ll be some time before the Chinese have the military capability and they’re ready to do it.”

[OCS: For a “face-conscious nation like China, such comments can be interpreted as provocative challenges that may trigger some display or demonstration of force. Possibly, a near-kinetic action in the disputed waters of the South China Sea near China’s artificial islands? Or additional challenge sorties by an enemy air force testing the limits of Taiwan’s ADIZ (Air Defense Identification Zone), potentially leading to an accident? Or, on the other hand, possibly inspiring overconfidence in the situation, which may lead to a lack of readiness to respond to provocative actions?]

There is no doubt in my mind that General Mark Milley needs to be re-called and court-martialed under the most serious charges and specifications possible…

(1)  It appears General Mark Milley acted beyond the limits of his authority as the advisor to the President to insert himself into the chain of command governing the control and release of the nation’s nuclear weapons.

(2)  It appears that usurping or interfering with President’s Commander-in-Chief duties is either conspiracy to commit mutiny or treason.

(3)  It appears that Milley, using a back-channel to speak with our enemies and undermining the power and authority of his Commander-in-Chief to suggest the President was unstable, is an act of treason that put our nation at peril. Especially, if he agreed to provide information on attack planning or nuclear posture. His pledge to notify China of a prior attack is TREASON!

(4)  Classified information relating to the nation’s nuclear posture or documents released to a journalist is a criminal act.

(5)  The idea that General Mark Milley would take no similar action considering the mental incapacity, and possible drug use, of President Biden is a further indictment of his activities.

(6)  That House Speaker Nancy Pelosi preemptively spoke with the command staff about the mental stability of the President of the United States should be grounds for her impeachment and removal from office.

PERIL-COVER

Woodward/Costa book: Worried Trump could 'go rogue,' Milley took secret action to protect nuclear weapons

Two days after the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, President Donald Trump's top military adviser, Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley, single-handedly took secret action to limit Trump from potentially ordering a dangerous military strike or launching nuclear weapons, according to "Peril," a new book by legendary journalist Bob Woodward and veteran Washington Post reporter Robert Costa.

Woodward and Costa write that Milley, deeply shaken by the assault, 'was certain that Trump had gone into a serious mental decline in the aftermath of the election, with Trump now all but manic, screaming at officials and constructing his own alternate reality about endless election conspiracies.'

Milley worried that Trump could 'go rogue,' the authors write.

"You never know what a president's trigger point is," Milley told his senior staff, according to the book.

In response, Milley took extraordinary action, and called a secret meeting in his Pentagon office on January 8 to review the process for military action, including launching nuclear weapons. Speaking to senior military officials in charge of the National Military Command Center, the Pentagon's war room, Milley instructed them not to take orders from anyone unless he was involved.

"No matter what you are told, you do the procedure. You do the process. And I'm part of that procedure," Milley told the officers, according to the book. He then went around the room, looked each officer in the eye, and asked them to verbally confirm they understood.

'You know he's crazy'

Milley's fear was based on his own observations of Trump's erratic behavior. His concern was magnified by the events of January 6 and the 'extraordinary risk' the situation posed to US national security, the authors write. Milley had already had two back-channel phone calls with China's top general, who was on high alert over the chaos in the US.

“General Li, I want to assure you that the American government is stable and everything is going to be okay,” Milley told him. “We are not going to attack or conduct any kinetic operations against you.”

In the book’s account, Milley went so far as to pledge he would alert his counterpart in the event of a U.S. attack, stressing the rapport they’d established through a backchannel. “General Li, you and I have known each other for now five years. If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise.”

In the second call, placed to address Chinese fears about the events of Jan. 6, Li wasn’t as easily assuaged, even after Milley promised him, “We are 100 percent steady. Everything’s fine. But democracy can be sloppy sometimes.”

Li remained rattled, and Milley, who did not relay the conversation to Trump, according to the book, understood why. The chairman, 62 at the time and chosen by Trump in 2018, believed the president had suffered a mental decline after the election, the authors write, a view he communicated to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) in a phone call on Jan. 8. He agreed with her evaluation that Trump was unstable, according to a call transcript obtained by the authors.

[OCS: 8 USC Ch. 115. §2381. Treason

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.]

Then Milley received a blunt phone call from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, according to the book. Woodward and Costa exclusively obtained a transcript of the call, during which Milley tried to reassure Pelosi that the nuclear weapons were safe.

Pelosi pushed back.

"What I'm saying to you is that if they couldn't even stop him from an assault on the Capitol, who even knows what else he may do? And is there anybody in charge at the White House who was doing anything but kissing his fat butt all over this?"

Pelosi continued, "You know he's crazy. He's been crazy for a long time."

According to Woodward and Costa, Milley responded, "Madam Speaker, I agree with you on everything."

After the call, Milley decided he had to act. He told his top service chiefs to watch everything "all the time." He called the director of the National Security Agency, Paul Nakasone, and told him, "Needles up ... keep watching, scan." And he told then-CIA Director Gina Haspel, "Aggressively watch everything, 360."

The authors write, 'Milley was overseeing the mobilization of America's national security state without the knowledge of the American people or the rest of the world.'

Woodward and Costa also write that 'some might contend that Milley had overstepped his authority and taken extraordinary power for himself,' but he believed his actions were 'a good faith precaution to ensure there was no historic rupture in the international order, no accidental war with China or others, and no use of nuclear weapons.'

PROOF: YOU CANNOT TRUST INFRASTRUCTURE EMPLOYEES WITH KEYS TO THE DIGITAL KINGDOM

SPIES1

In today’s digital-first world, data security is more critical than ever. As businesses increasingly rely on technology, employees with access to sensitive information—especially non-public customer data—hold the keys to your digital kingdom.

But with evolving security threats and changing business landscapes, it’s essential to revisit who has access to your most valuable assets periodically.

Ex-Verizon Engineer Gets 4-Year Prison Sentence for Spying on Falun Gong, Other Chinese Dissidents

A Florida engineer was given a four-year prison term for helping the Chinese regime collect intelligence on Chinese dissidents, such as practitioners of the persecuted faith Falun Gong.

The man, Li Ping, is a naturalized U.S. citizen who had worked for Verizon for 30 years. He had acted on behalf of a Chinese intelligence official in the United States for more than a decade, according to court filings.

Li, who turns 60 in December, passed a wide variety of information on to the ministry of state security, China’s top spying agency, including cybersecurity training materials taken from his tech corporate employer. Repeatedly, he fed the ministry details about pro-democracy advocates living in the United States and Falun Gong practitioners, a major target of the Chinese Communist Party over the past 25 years.

In addition to the prison sentence, U.S. District Judge Steven Merryday also granted prosecutors’ request for a $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release. <Source>

Re-vetting employees who handle confidential information is no longer just a best practice; it’s a necessity. The reality is that threats can come from anywhere—a disgruntled employee, an accidental data leak, or an external cyberattack. Ensuring that those who still require access are appropriately vetted and those who no longer need access have their privileges revoked is critical to mitigating risks.

Re-vetting doesn’t just mean a one-time background check. It involves reviewing roles, updating permissions, and ensuring proper security protocols are in place. Regular audits, awareness training, and tight access controls can prevent potential breaches and help build a security culture across your organization.

It’s time to strengthen your defenses. Ensure that only trusted individuals have the keys to your digital kingdom. Protect your business, customers, and reputation today by implementing a comprehensive re-vetting strategy.

Trading convenience for security.

When we trade convenience for security, we compromise our long-term safety and well-being for short-term ease. It’s easy to give in to the allure of convenience, but in doing so, we often overlook the vulnerabilities it creates. Convenience encourages automation, reducing our awareness and control over potential risks. Security, however, requires attention, diligence, and often inconvenience. As we grow accustomed to systems that promise ease—whether through technology, surveillance, or centralized services—we unknowingly surrender our privacy, autonomy, and sometimes, even our freedom. The trade-off, while tempting, often leaves us exposed in ways we might not fully comprehend until it’s too late.

Bottom line...

Perhaps the most significant incentive for governments and non-governmental organizations to improve security is to allow customers to rescind arbitration clauses and damage limits in cases of cybersecurity failures and recover actual damages.

We are so screwed when we trade convenience for security.

GAVIN "NEW SCUM" NEWSOM WANTS TO PICK YOUR POCKET TO HELP PAY FOR YOUR WEALTHY NEIGHBOR'S EV

As we ponder the price of food and fuel this Thanksgiving, California's progressive communist Democrats are planning to screw Californians further to advance their climate wealth redistribution scheme and curtail your personal freedom and mobility.

Californicator

This corrupt, elitist communist bastard, Gavin Newsom, has done so much damage to this formerly Golden State that he needs to be recalled.

Newsom wants CA consumers to pay to replace $7,500 federal EV credit, Tesla excluded

California Gov. Gavin Newsom said if President-elect Donald Trump ends the $7,500 electric vehicle rebate program, he’ll get Californians to pay for new credits. However, the credits would not include Tesla, which is the most popular EV company and the only EV manufacturer in the state.

This comes weeks after Newsom and his administration passed new refinery and carbon credit regulations that will add up to $1.15 per gallon of gasoline and require Californians with gasoline-powered cars to earn up to another $1,000 per year in pretax income to afford.

“We will intervene if the Trump Administration eliminates the federal tax credit, doubling down on our commitment to clean air and green jobs in California,” said Newsom in a statement. <Source>

The official media release from the State that can’t always keep the lights on…

Newsom-hdr

As California achieves historic milestone, Governor Newsom commits to restarting state’s ZEV rebate program if federal tax credit is eliminated

California has surpassed 2 million zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) sold, reaffirming California’s status as the country’s leader in clean vehicles. This milestone comes a little over two years after California eclipsed the 1 million ZEV sales mark.

To ensure the state’s continued progress, Governor Gavin Newsom today announced that if the incoming Trump Administration eliminates a federal ZEV tax credit, he will propose creating a new version of the state’s successful Clean Vehicle Rebate Program, which was phased out in 2023. During its lifetime, the CVRP funded more than 594,000 vehicles and saved more than 456 million gallons of fuel.

The proposed California rebates, which would include changes to promote innovation and competition in the ZEV market, could come from the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, which is funded by polluters under the state’s cap-and-trade program. <Source>

This from the state that's going to force everyone to buy electric cars by 2035...

"Attention EV Users: To help manage grid demand and minimize electricity costs, please avoid charging your electric vehicle during peak hours, typically between 4 9 p.m. and instead charge during off-peak hours when electricity rates are lower."

Heaven forbid, the electric utilities would have to make capital expenditures to scale out an aging and increasingly unreliable grid or stop subsidizing solar and wind farms.

We are under attack by communists ...

Californians will see lower electricity rates and a new fee that won’t vary with power use

State utility regulators decided today to let California’s largest power providers stick their customers with a new monthly flat fee in exchange for a reduction in the overall price of electricity, a controversial change to the way that millions of households pay their utility bills with weighty implications for state climate change policy.

Under the new policy, utilities will be required to reduce the price households pay for the electricity they use every time they charge a phone or run an air conditioner. That rate cut will vary from between 8% and 18%, depending on the utility, season and time of day, according to the commission’s analysis.

To make up for the lost revenue, regulators have introduced the concept of a “fixed charge,” a break from California electric billing tradition. For decades electric bills from Pacific Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison and San Diego Gas & Electric have been the “pay as you go” variety, with households only paying for the electricity they use.

Starting in late 2025 for SCE and SDG&E customers and in early 2026 for those with PG&E, the state’s investor-owned utilities will be able to charge customers a monthly fee regardless of how much power the customer draws from the grid. So-called fixed charges are a mainstay of electric billing across most of the country, with an average fee of roughly $11. <Source>

Screwing the middle class again…

Solar power glut boosts California electric bills. Other states reap the benefits

In the last 12 months, California has curtailed production of enough solar energy to power 518,000 homes for a year.
Californians, whose electric rates are roughly twice the national average, are essentially paying for power capacity they are unable to use.
The solar glut raises questions about the state’s plan to generate all its electricity from carbon-free sources by 2045.
California is making so much solar energy that large commercial operators are increasingly forced to stop production, raising questions about the state’s costly plan to shift entirely to carbon-free sources of electricity.

In the last 12 months, California’s solar farms have curtailed production of more than 3 million megawatt hours of solar energy, either on the orders of the state’s grid operator or because prices had plummeted because of the glut, according to an analysis of data by The Times.

The waste would have been even larger if California had not paid utilities in other states to take the excess solar energy, documents from the state’s grid operator show. That means green energy paid for by California electricity customers is sent away, lowering bills for residents of other states.

Arizona’s largest public utility reaped $69 million in savings last year by buying from the market California created to get rid of its excess solar power. The utility returned that money to its customers as a credit on their bills.

Also reaping profits are electricity traders, including banks and hedge funds.

The increasing oversupply of solar power has created a situation where energy traders can buy the excess at prices so low they become negative, said energy consultant Gary Ackerman, the former executive director of the Western Power Trading Forum. That means the solar plant is paying the traders to take it.

“This is all being underwritten by California ratepayers,” Ackerman said. <Source>

Bottom line...

Ever wonder what the Public Utilities Commission actually does for Californians or all those other Boards and Commissions whose members are appointed by politicians to give their donors, friends, and fading politicos cushy six-figure salaries?

STUPID-SMART PEOPLE ARE LEADING US TOWARD DISASTER

Stupid-smart-peole

We live in a media-saturated world where intelligence and ignorance are often indistinguishable, and the consequences are often disastrous.

Unfortunately, we seem to be encountering two types of people: those who believe they know everything and those who are too afraid to question them.

As strange as it may sound, both groups have a profound impact on the direction of our society—especially when it comes to culture, politics, and decision-making.

The Dunning-Kruger Effect: Overestimating Knowledge

The Dunning-Kruger effect is a well-known cognitive bias in which people with limited knowledge or experience in a given area tend to overestimate their own abilities, especially when they step outside their area and level of expertise.

Just because you have an advanced degree and are a celebrity, media host, YouTube influencer, or politician does not mean you understand human nature or have the intellectual and moral authority to determine how WE live OUR lives.

Essentially, the less someone knows about a subject, the more likely they will believe they understand it fully. This effect is particularly dangerous in politics and leadership because it creates an illusion of competence, often leading people to take positions of power or influence for which they are woefully unqualified.

It’s not hard to find examples of individuals—particularly politicians—who seem oblivious to their lack of expertise but confidently make decisions affecting millions of lives.

Whether driven by ego or ignorance, these leaders act as if their limited understanding is enough to navigate complex issues like climate change, healthcare, or the economy. Their conviction can be convincing to others, who may be too intimidated to question their authority.

How can Native Intelligence and Stupidity Coexist in the Same Space?

A fascinating paradox exists when considering the relationship between native intelligence and stupidity. People often associate intelligence with reasoning critically, understanding complex ideas, and making sound judgments. Yet, we are all familiar with highly intelligent individuals who still make downright foolish decisions.

What happens in these cases is that intelligence is often divorced from wisdom. Native intelligence may allow someone to grasp certain concepts quickly or excel in a specific field. Still, it doesn’t necessarily mean they possess the judgment to apply that knowledge effectively. Conversely, lacking formal education or intellect doesn’t preclude someone from being wise or insightful. Through experience and introspection, some individuals develop an understanding of the world that far surpasses their intellectual capabilities.

This coexistence of intelligence and stupidity can create a dangerous cocktail in politics. An individual may have all the credentials, all the degrees, and all the accolades but still make disastrous decisions because they are blinded by their own overconfidence or the narrow confines of their expertise. They may ignore input from others, dismiss differing viewpoints, or worse, take risks that have catastrophic consequences, all because they believe they are “smart enough” to figure it out on their own.

The Rise of Pseudo-Expertise: A Crisis of Credibility.

In the modern era, where Google and Wikipedia information is plentiful, and opinions are everywhere, we also face an explosion of pseudo-expertise. This phenomenon is particularly evident in politics, where individuals with little to no background in a given issue can suddenly become the “go-to experts” in the media for that issue simply by speaking loudly enough or garnering attention on social media. In the age of soundbites, the loudest voice often gets heard over the most qualified ones.

Pseudo-expertise thrives because it often caters to our confirmation biases and offers simple, easily digestible answers to complex problems. Politicians and media personalities, using their influence and media savvy, frequently present themselves as experts in fields they know little about. This leads to spreading misinformation, creating a toxic environment where the public is forced to sift through a maze of contradictory information, often unable to discern fact from fiction.

They say political campaigns are not about policies and position whitepapers but images and soundbites.

The Road to Hell.

Pseudo-experts have become the modern-day “Judas goats,” leading the herd down the road to communism and perdition. These figures capitalize on the public’s ignorance or apathy, guiding them into dangerous ideologies, policies, or choices that ultimately serve their own political agendas but have disastrous consequences for the people they are supposed to represent.

Whether pushing for policies that ignore the scientific method in favor of consensus or championing populist ideologies that favor short-term gains over long-term stability, these Judas goats often have a clear goal: their own power, profits, prestige, and influence.

The Disastrous Consequences of Stupid-Smart Leadership

When people with limited expertise, driven by their own overconfidence or pseudo-expertise, take positions of power, the consequences can be catastrophic. History is littered with leaders who led their countries into disaster due to poor judgment or a refusal to listen to the right experts. From economic crashes to military conflicts to environmental disasters, the results of “stupid-smart” leadership can be devastating.

But what makes the situation even worse is the blind following they often attract. The Dunning-Kruger effect doesn’t just apply to individuals; it can extend to entire populations. When a politician, with their charismatic delivery and confidence, convinces people that they have all the answers, many will follow blindly, even when the road ahead is clearly leading to disaster.

This is the danger of pseudo-expertise: it creates a false sense of security and control, even as it leads society further into uncertainty and chaos. In an age where anyone can claim to be an expert, the value of actual knowledge and the willingness to listen to those with actual experience is increasingly undervalued.

Bottom line…

It’s time to recognize that intelligence alone does not guarantee sound decision-making. The coexistence of stupidity and native intelligence is not just a quirk of human nature—it’s a dangerous flaw that, when left unchecked, can have severe consequences for everyone.

As citizens, we must learn to recognize the signs of pseudo-expertise and question those who, despite their loud voices or impressive titles, lead us down paths not grounded in actual knowledge or critical thinking.

We must demand leaders who are intellectually capable and wise enough to seek expertise, listen to those with experience, and make decisions that serve the common good, not their own ambitions.

The Judas goats are out there, leading us into the wilderness of misinformation and poor judgment. The real challenge is finding the courage to recognize them for what they are and break free from their influence before it’s too late.

When I think of stupid-smart people, I often cite Dr. Sheldon Cooper, the fictitious senior theoretical physicist at the California Institute of Technology from The Big Bang Theory. He is a brilliant physicist with an IQ of 187. Still, his lack of social skills, inability to grasp common social cues, and occasionally misguided decisions make him seem “stupid” in everyday life. In real life, I think of Dr. Anthony Fauci, the physician and immunologist who served as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases from 1984 to 2022 and the chief medical advisor to the president from 2021 to 2022.

Question the Judas Goats.

We are so screwed.

NATURE'S SCALE VS. CLIMATE CHANGE: A CRITICAL LOOK AT THE GRIFTING CRYBABIES

Climate-iceberg

Third-World Grifters Reject Climate Deal on Wealth Transfer

The Conference of the Parties (COP) 29 ended in anger as the developing nations rejected an agreement by the wealthy nations that would have given the greedy little grifters $300 billion in funding for projects to combat climate change.

It’s a “disaster,” some of the representatives claimed. The $300 billion in aid would come “from a wide variety of sources, public and private, bilateral and multilateral, including alternative sources.”

Nigeria branded the deal “a joke.” Ralph Regenvanu, envoy for the island nation of Vanuatu, stated: “The dollar amounts pledged and the emissions reductions promised are not enough. They were never going to be enough. And even then, based on our experience with such pledges in the past, we know they will not be fulfilled.”

Regenvanu has figured it out. The industrial West is not going to give a blank check to third-world kleptocrats without strings attached.

That’s exactly what the developing nations and their NGO lobbyists wanted. They’re angry because their demands for yearly $1.3 trillion in no-strings-attached grants were rejected.

That’s $11 trillion over the next decade. And we’re not supposed to ask what they’re going to use it for. <Read More>

Global climate change has recently become one of the most hotly one-sided debated topics.

Whether it’s natural disasters like earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, or regional weather events, it’s clear that the scale of nature eclipses human capacity to control it. Despite this, a widespread push exists to address climate change through policy measures, taxes, and wealth re-distribution schemes. However, this approach overlooks the larger forces beyond human control and is embedded in nature’s vast, complex feedback systems.

The idea that humans can significantly alter nature’s course is an illusion.

For example, earthquakes, super-volcanoes, and hurricanes are powerful forces that have shaped the Earth long before humans appeared. Human intervention in these events is limited to basic measures like avoiding dangerous areas, zoning restrictions, reinforcing building codes, and adapting to our environment. We don’t have the power to prevent these natural events, and in the same way, the push to control the climate on a global scale is little more than a communist wealth re-distribution scheme. Or, as Karl Marx noted, “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.”

The Creation of the IPCC and Its Oversight

The manifestly corrupt United Nations created the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) to provide government policymakers and non-governmental organization stakeholders with scientific assessments about “man-made” climate change, its potential future risks, and implications. However, the IPCC’s mandate came with two significant oversights.

First, it underestimated the power of political corruption. Big money and the interests of those with their hands out significantly influence climate policy. With trillions of dollars at stake in the global climate change industry, powerful and influential players with economic motives are shaping the conversation, distorting the science to fit their corrupt political agenda.

Second, the IPCC’s focus was too narrowly targeted on anthropogenic (man-made) factors and did not sufficiently address the natural climate cycles over geological timescales. Nature’s processes, like plate tectonics, volcanic activity, and long-term shifts in solar radiation, play an overwhelming role in shaping our climate. These cycles have been at work for millions of years and are outside human control. Ignoring these factors in favor of a one-dimensional focus on human activity creates an incomplete and false scientific narrative about the causes of climate change.

The Limitations of Human Intervention.

Much like how we cannot prevent earthquakes or volcanic eruptions, we cannot stop natural climate cycles. The best we can do is adapt — building infrastructure that can withstand severe weather events, strengthening zoning and building codes, and reducing man-made pollution where possible.

However, trying to control nature on a global scale through taxation, regulations, and wealth re-distribution is a corrupt fool’s answer. Instead, we should focus on managing the impacts of climate change through adaptation and resilience-building strategies. These include improving our infrastructure, investing in disaster preparedness, and developing technology that can help us mitigate the effects of natural events.

However, one crucial area where human influence can be beneficial is the suppression of political corruption. As climate change policies and research funding grow, so do the incentives for corruption. Keeping the climate debate scientific and free of ulterior motives is one of the most important steps to ensure that resources are allocated effectively and justly.

The Climate Change Industry and Its Risks.

As billions of dollars flow into climate change-related initiatives, there is a growing concern about the sustainability and integrity of this industry. The push for policies that aim to redistribute wealth under the guise of combating climate change undermines real solutions. Research, which has become heavily funded based on anthropogenic global warming, is becoming increasingly tainted by the corrupt political interests that hold the purse strings.

In this environment, scientists and policymakers are in a precarious position, with their credibility hanging in the balance. As the stakes rise, so does the potential for error, manipulation, and failure to address the root causes of environmental degradation meaningfully.

Where are the Answers?

  1. The global climate has constantly changed, so what is a legitimate time frame over which climate change should be measured?

  2. What is the critical temperature required for our complex ecosystem to maintain itself and the optimum temperature to optimize growth?

  3. How does this optimum temperature affect natural geological and spatial gradients from equatorial to polar regions?

  4. How does man directly identify and measure man’s climate signal amid the natural variability of nature and the likely existence of long climate cycles extending beyond man’s existence on Earth?

  5. What elements of climate change can man demonstrably affect and measure given that the acknowledged drivers of climate are the Sun’s energy output in all spectral bands, cosmic rays, the Earth’s position relative to the Sun, the Earth’s precessional and rotational dynamics, the Earth’s magnetosphere, plate tectonics, and vulcanology, the deep ocean currents, the internal dynamics of the Earth, and the most significant greenhouse gas of all, water vapor --all macro phenomena that man’s efforts cannot mitigate, no matter how heroic.

  6. How can you legitimately classify carbon dioxide, a crucial component necessary for life on this planet, as a pollutant?

Bottom line…

Ultimately, humanity’s best approach to climate change — and natural events in general — is not to try to control the uncontrollable but to adapt to our ever-changing environment. Whether it’s earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, or climate fluctuations, nature’s power is immense and beyond our capacity to control. The real challenge for humans lies in our ability to live in harmony with these forces, building resilient systems that can withstand their effects.

The focus should shift away from misguided attempts to control climate through global taxes and wealth re-distribution and instead look to innovative, local zoning and building code restrictions prioritizing adaptability, scientific rigor, and the elimination of manifest political and scientific corruption.

Only then will we be able to navigate the complexities of our environment without being led astray by communist political agendas?

We are so screwed.

MODERN ART: SCAMMING PRETENTIOUS FOOLS

In a world where color triumphs over competence, modern art has become a symbol of absurdity, where meaning is often lost in the chaos of so-called “creativity.”

From splattered paint to minimalist installations, the more bizarre, incomprehensible, or deliberately simplistic the piece, the more it’s hailed as groundbreaking. But is it art or an elaborate scam designed by those who cannot add real value to society to fool us?

How else can you explain Maurizio Cattelan’s “Comedian,” essentially a yellow banana duct-taped to a wall selling for $6.2 million at a Sotheby’s auction?

Jsb

The purchaser, Justin Sun, a Chinese-born cryptocurrency entrepreneur and business executive, explains everything.

“I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve bought the banana !!!  I am Justin Sun, and I’m excited to share that I have successfully acquired Maurizio Cattelan’s iconic work, Comedian for $6.2 million. This is not just an artwork; it represents a cultural phenomenon that bridges the worlds of art, memes, and the cryptocurrency community. I believe this piece will inspire more thought and discussion in the future and will become a part of history. I am honored to be the proud owner of the banana and look forward to it sparking further inspiration and impact for art enthusiasts around the world.

Additionally, in the coming days, I will personally eat the banana as part of this unique artistic experience, honoring its place in both art history and popular culture. Stay tuned!”

It’s unsurprising for someone hawking invisible money that can be used to create wealth without work and that can disappear forever with a computer crash.

It’s the delusions of the buyer that is being sold.

For most, purchasing modern art today feels less about acquiring beauty and more about buying into a pretense of culture and sophistication. High-priced pieces serve as status symbols rather than genuine expressions of creativity. People are not just collecting artwork—they are purchasing an image of themselves as connoisseurs, the “informed” few who understand the elusive meaning behind a piece.

The value of the art becomes secondary to its ability to signal social standing. It’s a world where a piece’s perceived depth and exclusivity are more important than its actual content or aesthetic, allowing individuals to project a particular intellectual or cultural superiority, even if the work lacks meaning or craftsmanship. In this sense, art becomes less about artistic expression and more about constructing an identity by acquiring expensive, often arbitrary, objects.

Today, modern art’s appeal lies not in its aesthetic beauty or even craftsmanship but in the lofty, pretentious language surrounding it. Terms like “conceptualism” and “deconstruction” are thrown around to convince us that art is something we must intellectually decode. It’s a game of smoke and mirrors, where the emperor’s new clothes are invisible to all but the self-proclaimed experts.

At its core, modern art often feels like a commercial ploy — a way to push high-priced, meaningless works on unsuspecting buyers while the “elite” in the art world nod in approval. What has happened to the art that was once about emotion, skill, and connection? Modern art, as it stands today, is often more about hype and selling a story than creating something of actual value.

While there are certainly exceptions, the modern art world is rife with empty gestures and overblown egos. Whether it’s an unmade bed or a can of soup, some artistic works raise the question: are these artists genuinely innovative or just masters of fooling the masses? In the end, perhaps the pretentious fools are the real artists — creating a culture that values hype over substance.

My foray into modern art.

Steve-self-portrait
I was doing some IT work for a prestigious Beverly Hills gallery that specialized in selling numbered prints for outrageous prices. I was bullshitting with one of the artists whose most memorable feature was not his artwork but oversized red plastic eyeglass frames against his rather traditional monochromatic black artist’s outfit.

I explained that any piece I could easily duplicate was not modern art and that scribbles did not convey meaning, such as clouds do not convey information through random shapes.

To prove my point, I used a computer paint program and mouse to create a work I laughingly called my self-portrait. Lo and behold, an art critic walked in and saw the image on the screen, and marveled at its intensity, authenticity, and pureness of thought. I couldn’t stop laughing for five minutes.

Bottom line…

I was thinking of an alternative piece to accompany the banana, created by dropping an egg on a blank canvas. Of course, the title would be “The Yoke’s On You.”

We are so screwed.
