Kamala Harris Holds Back On Discussing $5 Trillion Tax Hike Proposal

Vice President Kamala Harris has refrained from making public comments regarding her support of a $5 trillion tax hike plan.

The Harris team indicated last week that she is in favor of the tax increases that were also previously included in Biden’s budget blueprint for 2025. The “ambitious” tax rises would represent a significant shift in U.S. tax policy if passed. However, Harris has still not addressed the tax agenda in detail.

Harris’s recent budget proposal included the 2025 tax increases, which her team verified to the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday.

However, besides that, neither Harris nor her campaign representatives have made any further statements regarding the tax portion of the proposal.

This has led to an unusual scenario where a presidential candidate has acknowledged being connected to a set of policies that would have a huge impact on the nation, but has not addressed the issue to the extent that voters are satisfied with.

Nonetheless, after reaching out, the Washington Examiner outlet never received confirmation from any of Harris’s campaign officials that she agrees with Biden’s plan to tax top earners’ unrealized capital gains and a slew of other tax measures.

  • Inflation Reduction Act (2022): A bill focused on climate change, health care, and tax reform. The act, which includes extensive spending on clean energy and health care, was passed with her tie-breaking vote, helping it become law despite an evenly divided Senate.

No matter how bad it is now, it will get infinitely worse under a Harris/Walz Administration.

Like the socialist healthcare systems in Britain and Canada, the result will be a catastrophe of denials, delays, and death.

As a Medicare provider with over 45 years of experience you can count on, UnitedHealthcare understands that Medicare coverage is personal and changes to your coverage can affect your life.

That’s why we want to keep you in the know about some changes brought by the federal government impacting all stand-alone Medicare prescription drug plans and Medicare Advantage plans with prescription drug coverage in 2025.

Let’s get started. We’ll cover three big updates. Removal of the coverage gap, a lower maximum out-of-pocket amount for prescription drugs, and a new prescription payment plan option.

First, good news. In 2025, the coverage gap, also called the donut hole, has been removed. There are now three Part D prescription drug coverage stages.

An annual deductible stage, initial coverage stage, and catastrophic coverage stage. If a plan has a prescription drug deductible, members will be responsible for paying the full cost of their drugs until they reach this amount. Then, in the initial coverage stage, they will be responsible for paying co-pays or co-insurance.

Once the member and others on their behalf have paid a combined total of $2,000 for Medicare-covered medications, including any amount toward the deductible, the member moves straight into the catastrophic coverage stage, where they will pay $0 for Medicare-covered Part D drugs for the remainder of the plan year. See? More coverage, no gap. In 2024, for all Medicare members no matter what insurance provider they were enrolled with, the Part D out-of-pocket max was $8,000.

[OCS: While this benefit enhancement looks great, it affects a relatively small portion of Medicare subscribers.

As of the most recent data, approximately 1.5 million Medicare Part D beneficiaries without low-income subsidies spent more than $2,000 on prescription drugs in 2021. This means that roughly 3% of all Part D enrollees faced such high out-of-pocket costs. Of these beneficiaries, the majority (about 68%) paid between $2,000 and $3,000, while smaller portions spent significantly more, with 20% paying between $3,000 and $5,000, and 12% paying over $5,000 annually ​(KFF, MedicalEconomics)

The percentage is set to change with the upcoming introduction of a $2,000 out-of-pocket cap on Part D spending in 2025, as part of the Inflation Reduction Act. This cap is expected to benefit more than a million enrollees, significantly reducing their annual drug expenses ​(MedicalEconomics, KFF).

In 2024, more than 45 million people are enrolled in Medicare Part D plans. These plans cover prescription drugs and can be obtained either as standalone Prescription Drug Plans (PDPs) or through Medicare Advantage plans that include drug coverage (MAPDs). The majority of enrollees, about 60%, are in MAPD plans, with the remaining 40% in standalone PDPs ​(Milliman, MedicareAdvantage.com).

In 2025, the out-of-pocket max is lower than ever. Once a member and others on their behalf have paid a combined total of $2,000, they’ll pay nothing for Medicare-covered Part D prescription drugs for the rest of the plan year. However, while the goal is to lower prescription drug expenses, these changes could result in higher deductibles or premiums in 2025.

This means members may pay more earlier in the year during the deductible stage, but could see an overall savings compared to prior years with the lowered out-of-pocket maximum. Also for 2025, there’s a new optional program called the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan. Instead of paying all your out-of-pocket costs when you fill your prescriptions at a network pharmacy, you can spread these payments out over the plan year with monthly bills.

It’s important to know this program does not lower prescription drug costs. The payment amount may change each month until you reach the $2,000 out-of-pocket max, so while monthly payments may be more manageable, they may also be less predictable. Your plan sponsor may contact you if you’re likely to benefit from the program.

What they don’t say is the killer…

Notice they don’t talk about your insurer’s classification of tiered drugs, the possibility that lower-cost medications you receive are deliberately pushed into a higher-cost tier. They also don’t discuss the price differential between prescriptions filled at a local pharmacy and those fulfilled by a centralized mail-order system.

Insurers’ manipulation of Medicare Part D covered drug tiers has become a growing concern for many beneficiaries. Insurers often categorize drugs into different tiers, each associated with varying cost-sharing levels, which can significantly affect patients’ out-of-pocket expenses.

While this tiering system is intended to help manage costs and ensure access to a wide range of medications, some insurers have been accused of strategically placing certain drugs, particularly high-cost or specialty medications, in higher tiers to discourage their use or shift more costs onto consumers.

This practice can make essential medications unaffordable for those on fixed incomes, undermining Medicare Part D’s primary goal of providing comprehensive and affordable prescription drug coverage.

The lack of transparency in how drugs are tiered and the potential for formulary changes throughout the year further exacerbate the issue, leaving many beneficiaries vulnerable to unexpected and burdensome costs.

Don’t expect greater oversight and regulation as vote-seeking politicians continue to solicit campaign funding from insurers, and former employees of insurers are appointed to oversight commissions.

Bottom line…

The insurers will always have the upper hand, and the greatest decision is how to keep those multi-million dollar executive bonuses flowing.

In recent years, lobbying expenditures by Medicare insurers, particularly those involved with Medicare Advantage plans, have been significant. In 2023, health insurers spent approximately $180 million on lobbying activities, with a substantial portion of this focused on protecting the profits and favorable regulatory environment of Medicare Advantage plans. These efforts have been aimed at influencing policies related to Medicare reimbursements and regulatory oversight.

The insurance industry, represented by powerful groups like America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), has been particularly aggressive in lobbying against any changes that could reduce payments to Medicare Advantage plans. This includes efforts to prevent the federal government from cutting overpayments that have been identified by watchdog groups and the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC).

The financial clout of these insurers ensures they have a strong influence on legislative decisions, often to the detriment of cost-saving measures that could benefit Medicare recipients and taxpayers​(Center for Medicare Advocacy, Medicare Rights Center).

In 2023, UnitedHealth Group's top executives received substantial compensation packages, reflecting the company's strategic focus on retaining and motivating its leadership amid a competitive and complex healthcare landscape.

The CEO, Andrew Witty, earned a total of approximately $23.5 million. This includes a base salary of $1.5 million, stock awards worth $15 million, and other forms of compensation. The company's CFO, John Rex, and COO, Dirk McMahon (who retired in April 2023), each received total compensation of about $16.1 million. These packages comprise base salaries, stock options, non-equity incentive plans, and additional compensation.

The CEO-to-median-employee pay ratio at UnitedHealth Group in 2023 was 352:1, highlighting the significant pay disparities within the company ​(Becker's Payer, DistilINFO Publications, Salary.com).

The manipulation of drug tiers remains a critical issue in the ongoing debate over the fairness and effectiveness of Medicare Part D.

CALIFORNIA'S PROGRESSIVE COMMUNIST UNI-PARTY STICKS IT TO CALIFORNIANS, AGAIN!

A communist strategy to destroy California and our nation from within…

The Cloward-Piven Strategy, devised by academics and communist activists Richard Cloward and his wife Frances Fox Piven in the 1960s, advocates overloading the U.S. welfare system to precipitate a crisis leading to significant social and economic reforms.

The goal was to overwhelm the system with so many demands that it would collapse, forcing the government to adopt a guaranteed annual income or other forms of universal welfare. Cloward and Piven argued that this would redistribute wealth more equitably and alleviate poverty. The strategy destabilizes the economy and strains government resources.

For those who do not remember the mortgage meltdown of 2007/8, it began as a result of widespread defaults on subprime mortgages—loans given to borrowers with poor credit histories and no down payment requirements—which led to a collapse in the value of mortgage-backed securities and significant losses for financial institutions.

Now, California is seeking to pass Assembly Bill 1840, which would expand eligibility in the State’s down payment assistance program to undocumented Californians. (i.e. Illegal Aliens)

Assemblymember Joaquin Arambula’s Assembly Bill 1840 seeks to broaden the scope of the California Dream for All program, which assists first-time homebuyers with down payments. The bill proposes renaming the existing program to The Home Purchase Assistance Program and expanding its eligibility criteria to include undocumented immigrants with either a taxpayer identification number (ITIN) or a Social Security number. This expansion would allow “qualified participants” to receive up to $150,000 in down payment assistance, covering up to 20% of the property’s purchase price.

The bill is now on Gavin Newsom’s desk and is awaiting his signature.

What is the problem?

As of 2024, California’s state and local government debt is estimated to be around $1.6 trillion, encompassing bonded debt and unfunded liabilities, such as pension obligations. Much of this debt stems from pension liabilities, which fluctuate depending on expected returns. This staggering debt translates to roughly $125,000 per household in the State. Potential increases in debt, such as the proposed $6.4 billion in bonds under Proposition 1, raise concerns about the State’s financial future.

California’s progressive communist democrats passed AB 1840 by a three-to-one veto-proof majority, sending it to the governor’s desk — and drawing attention to the progressive communist democrat's uni-party’s pattern of creating incentives for illegal migration by heaping taxpayer-funded benefits onto people who are not supposed to be in the country at all.

Furthermore, it incentivizes financial institutions to create situations where they can bundle loans into risky securities, add a touch of pseudo-insurance in the form of credit default swaps, sell the securities to suckers, and ultimately recover foreclosed properties for pennies on the dollar.

Remember, we are not only speaking of illegal aliens arriving from Mexico and Central American countries such as El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras; we are also speaking of illegal arrivals from Asia, particularly from countries like China, India, and the Philippines, and from countries like Russia, Africa, and elsewhere in the world.

Where is the California Dream for Californians who are departing the State in record numbers as they face confiscatory taxes, no respect for private property, insane regulations, and the progressive communist democrat uni-party?

THE DEMOCRATS CONTINUE TO CRIMINALIZE POLITICAL PROCESSES

There is little doubt in my mind that the Fedsurrection that occurred on January 6, including the discovery of two bombs near the Capitol, was orchestrated by certain elected officials with assistance from high-ranking political appointees for the sole purpose of preventing a lawful congressional challenge to electors representing states with credible election irregularities.

Furthermore, the grotesque expenditure of time, effort, and money to track down innocent Americans, including those who entered the Capitol complex through opened doors and peacefully interacted with Capitol police, was meant as a warning to those who might similarly challenge the 2024 election should similar election irregularities be detected.

Moreover, I find that the highest law enforcement officer in the nation, the Attorney General of the United States, has issued a threat to the American people that lawful protest would be met with the same draconian actions that were applied to the January 6 participants – including costly legal proceedings, lengthy jail terms, and pre-trial torture using solitary confinement under harsh conditions for those not yet convicted of a crime.

There is no doubt that Attorney General Garland has undoubtedly committed impeachable and criminal offenses that shock the conscience.

U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland is responding to former President Donald Trump's promise to pardon the rioters convicted in the Jan. 6 insurrection.

We have prosecuted people we believe are responsible for an attack on the Capitol and the threat to the peaceful transfer of power. The convictions indicate that both juries and judges have agreed with our charges. Pardons are another matter, and I really don't have anything to say about that.

I think our prosecutions have made clear what we think about people who try to interfere with the peaceful transfer of power, which is an essential and fundamental element of our democracy. I quibble about whether we have 1,500 or slightly less than 1,500, but we have way more than 1,400 now prosecutions, and we have a substantial number of convictions. I think that's shown to everybody how seriously we take an effort to interfere with the peaceful transfer of power.

[OCS: The ONLY attack on our constitutional processes for certifying an election was perpetrated by a small cadre of Democrats. Moreover, the cover-up of their actions, including defying congressional oversight attempts, should speak loudly to the American people.]

The last January 6th, the coming January 6th, and every January 6th after that. I want to make clear to anybody who is thinking about interfering with that, they can see what we've done with respect to the January 6th prosecutions, and the Justice Department will continue to protect our democracy.

Garland's hand-picked "Special Counsel" filed a "superseding indictment against Donald Trump today...

Shortly after election day, the Defendant also pursued unlawful means of discounting legitimate votes and subverting the election results. In so doing, the Defendant perpetrated three criminal conspiracies:

a. A conspiracy to defraud the United States by using dishonesty, fraud, and deceit to impair, obstruct, and defeat the lawful federal government function by which the results of the presidential election are collected, counted, and certified by the federal government, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371;

b. A conspiracy to corruptly obstruct and impede the January 6 congressional proceeding at which the collected results of the presidential election are counted and certified ("the certification proceeding"), in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1512(k); and

c. A conspiracy against the right to vote and to have one's vote counted, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 241.

Each of these conspiracies-which built on the widespread mistrust the Defendant was creating through pervasive and destabilizing lies about election fraud-targeted a bedrock function of the United States federal government: the nation's process of collecting, counting, and certifying the results of the presidential election ("the federal government function").

Smith is so special that one lower court ruled his appointment as a private citizen with vast government powers unconstitutional. Nothing prevents the President of the United States from exercising his right to free speech, which the government is unconstitutionally attacking.

Notice that the government and media propagandists use the word "insurrection," but Donald Trump and the majority of January 6 participants are not charged with the crime of insurrection. However, Garland's appointment of Jack Smith may be construed as illegal interference in a presidential election.

Bottom line...

I do not doubt that the progressive communist democrats will do or say anything to maintain political power, if for no other reason than to insulate themselves from investigation, prosecution, and imprisonment for their criminal actions. 

My only hope is that the Republicans have moved beyond the polite politics of Bush, McCain, and Romney and have the cojones to do to the opposition that which has done to them as the reverse the progressive communist democrat's influence in the bureaucracy.

America's Capitalist Dream is Crumbling: The Silent Communist Crisis Threatening Our Future

In the heart of America, a storm is strengthening—a crisis that goes largely unnoticed by nearly half the country.

This isn’t about a looming recession or the next significant tech innovation but something far more foundational: the very survival of our capitalist system. The most troubling part? Many Americans are unaware of the threat posed by the growing influence of the progressive, communist ideologies that have captured the Democratic Party.

For decades, capitalism has been the bedrock of American success. It has driven innovation, fueled the economy, and created opportunities for millions. Yet, today, this system faces an unprecedented challenge from within. The rise of progressive communist democrat policies, based on socialist and communist ideologies, threatens to undermine the principles that have made the United States a beacon of freedom and prosperity.

The media’s silence betrays its constitutional duty to inform the public by providing accurate, unbiased, and timely information.

The corporatized media, believed initially by our Founding Fathers to serve as the constitutional watchdog of our democracy, has largely failed in its journalistic duty. Instead of informing the public about the dangers posed by these radical progressive communist democrat ideologies and the politicians supporting them, many media outlets serve as progressive communist democrat propagandists that have ignored and censored these existential ideological issues or, worse, promoted these policies as the solution to America’s problems. As a result, half the country’s population remains in the dark, unaware that the very system that has afforded them their freedoms is under siege by radical communists.

Yet, instead of challenging these communist ideas, the media often portrays them as necessary reforms, ignoring the potential long-term consequences. This lack of awareness is more than just a problem—it’s a near-existential threat to our nation, as our republic can only function if its citizens are informed and engaged. When half the country is unaware of the dangers posed by these progressive communist democrat ideologies, it becomes increasingly difficult to mount an effective defense of our capitalist system.

The face of legalized discrimination is a threat to equality and justice.

Consider the growing calls for legalized discrimination against certain classes of individuals under the guise of affirmative action, wealth redistribution, and the push for universal basic income or the demand for government-controlled healthcare. These policies, presented as compassionate solutions to societal problems, echo the communist principles that have led to economic inflation, productivity stagnation, and the loss of individual freedoms in countries like Cuba, Venezuela, Argentina, and the former Soviet Union.

It’s time for those Americans who value freedom, innovation, and opportunity to speak out against corrupt and communist politicians. We must demand that the media fulfill its role as an unbiased informer rather than a promoter of the progressive communist democrat ideology.

We must educate our family, friends, and fellow citizens about the natural consequences of adopting communist policies that, while they may appealing on the surface to specific segments of our population, could lead to the erosion of the very freedoms we hold dear and for which hundreds of thousands of Americans have died to preserve.

We must wake up to the reality that progressive, communist-inspired ideologies are not just a fringe threat; they are gaining momentum and influence.

It’s imperative that we rally together, demand truthful reporting from our media, and educate our fellow citizens about the dangers we face.

The future of America depends on our ability to preserve the principles that have made this nation a land of opportunity.

UNIONS: DEALING WITH THE DEVIL AND THE EVILS OF TERRORISM

There was a time when unions served a purpose: to promote the safety and welfare of their members and to prevent their one-sided exploitation.

For the most part, union members do not represent the views of their corrupt leadership and have little or no say in the party they support or the positions they take. Over time, the unions have become extortionists and exploiters of their membership, as well as being a primary source of political corruption and communism.

So, I am not surprised when major unions adopt an un-American position favoring terrorists who wish to kill anyone who does not bow down before them and accept their beliefs.

President Biden,

We write to publicly call upon your Administration to immediately halt all military aid to Israel as part of the work to secure an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the war in Gaza.

[OCS: The consequences of halting military aid to Israel to force a ceasefire is to ignore the fact that Hamas is not the primary enemy but only one of Iran’s proxies and that allowing Hamas, the elected terrorist government of a majority of Gazans, time to regroup and re-arm and to invite continuing conflict against innocent Israeli citizens.]

We all shared hope that the three-part ceasefire proposal you outlined in the final week of May would bear fruit, allowing for the immediate end of violence, the safe return of hostages, and the creation of space for a lasting peace.

[OCS: “The immediate end of violence, the safe return of hostages, and the creation of space for a lasting peace” could be achieved tomorrow if Hamas unconditionally surrendered and destroyed their weaponry.]

As we write you today, however, neither Israel nor Hamas has accepted the agreement as proposed. Prime Minister Netanyahu and his cabinet members have publicly refused key elements of the deal, despite your characterizing it as an Israeli proposal.

[OCS: The purported ceasefire agreement was mischaracterized by the Biden administration for political purposes and to avoid an adverse reaction by the pro-Hamas wing of the Democrat Party, primarily in the critical swing states of Michigan and Minnesota.

It was never an Israeli proposal and would not result in the immediate de-escalation of the conflict, return of all of the remaining live hostages and those who died in captivity, and remove Hamas from continuing to steal humanitarian money and supplies to aid further conflict.]

As you said on May 31, the Israeli response has “devastated Hamas forces over the past eight months” and that “Hamas [is] no longer capable of carrying out another October 7th.” Yet it is clear that the Israeli government will continue to pursue its vicious response to the horrific attacks of October 7th until it is forced to stop.

[OCS: This is a lie. The Israeli leadership has vowed to continue the fight until all who were responsible for the attack, including the top leader of Hamas hiding in Gaza, are dead, the live hostages and dead bodies returned, and the region disarmed.

Considering it was Hamas that broke the existing peace treaty on October 7, this is the only position that is acceptable to an Israel that is still under rocket bombardment from other Iran proxies, namely Hezbollah and the Houthis.]

We believe that immediately cutting US military aid to the Israeli government is necessary to bring about a peaceful resolution to this conflict.

[OCS: Nothing other than unconditional surrender and disarmament will resolve this conflict peacefully.]

Recent reports only underscore the urgency of our demands. Large numbers of Palestinian civilians, many of them children, continue to be killed, reportedly often with US-manufactured bombs. Rising tensions in the region threaten to ensnare even more innocent civilians in a wider war.

[OCS: Perhaps if Hamas stops violating international norms that prohibit using civilians as human shields and co-locating ammunition and weaponry next to private homes, hospitals, schools, and Mosques, the death toll would be significantly reduced.

It might very well be that the death toll is little more than a propaganda operation of the Hamas-controlled Ministry of Health. The entire goal of Hamas appears to be using dead children as advertising for the solicitation of so-called international aid.]

And the humanitarian crisis deepens by the day, with famine, mass displacement, and destruction of basic infrastructure including schools and hospitals. We have spoken directly to leaders of Palestinian trade unions who told us heart-wrenching stories of the conditions faced by working people in Gaza.

[OCS: Humanitarian aid is being stolen by Hamas and sold to Gazans. The actions of the Hamas aggressors have forfeited the infrastructure used for war. We have seen both schools and hospitals used to house Hamas fighters and weaponry.]

Furthermore, Israel’s refusal to minimize civilian harm and its demonstrated restriction of U.S. humanitarian aid call for a halt to U.S. military aid under the Foreign Assistance Act and the Arms Control Export Act.

[OCS: Israel has the most moral of militaries in the world and is far more tolerant of civilians than the United States was in Iraq and Afghanistan.]

Mr. President, the time to act decisively to end this war is now. Stopping US military aid to Israel is the quickest and most sure way to do so, it is what U.S. law demands, and it will show your commitment to securing a lasting peace in the region.

[OCS: The President, to whom you are petitioning, is a non-functioning vegetable. So it is assumed that this is part of the Hamas propaganda operation or a plea to the anti-America, anti-Israel, anti-Semitic cadre of Obama’s communist acolytes.]

Panicking Hamas leader 'hiding in plain sight disguised as woman'

Having already narrowly escaped capture, Hamas' political leader Yahya Sinwar - who masterminded the October 7 atrocities in Israel - has now been forced to flee Gaza's terror tunnel network.

HAMAS leader Yahya Sinwar has abandoned Gaza's terror tunnels and is hiding among Palestinians "dressed as a woman", Israeli intelligence sources said last night.

Israeli military chiefs believe that capturing or killing the new terror leader would deal the final death blow to Hamas's political hierarchy, causing it to splinter and dissolve as an entity.

So worried is Sinwar about his personal safety that last week he insisted on adding a new condition to fragile ceasefire talks in Cairo which protect him from Israel's retribution. "Sinwar emphasizes that the security of his life and well-being must be ensured," an Egyptian official said. <Source>

Bottom line…

It should be noted that the leadership of these unions should be regarded as a clear and present danger to America and Americans, especially given their power to interfere in government operations. The unions are parasitically attached to the Democratic Party, which is now controlled by radical progressive communists, democrats, and Islamists.

When I was in my junior high history class, I wondered why Germany’s Jews did not resist the Nazis before and after Hitler achieved power. I had also heard the old joke that they were busy debating among themselves, “On one hand… and on the other hand.”

But what is their excuse today when faced with a clear and present danger to Israel and the growing anti-Semitism in America, primarily among the progressive communist democrats like Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, who appear to favor communism and Islamism?

So, how do you explain this opinion?

As a Jewish American and lifelong supporter of Israel, I have always sought leadership that aligns with our values and unwaveringly supports the Jewish state.

[OCS: There is no proof that Kamala Harris or Tim Walz are ardent supporters of Israel or whose values align with those of the Jewish State. They are more aligned with the Islamists and anti-Semitic groups like CAIR and Black Lives Matter. They and their cadre of fellow travelers have bent over backward to court the support of anti-Semitic Islamists in Minnesota and Michigan.]

Today, with the stakes higher than ever, Vice President Kamala Harris is the best candidate for president of the United States.

[OCS: This is a lie. The candidate whose record of service is abysmal and recently reviled by the progressive media as feckless, inarticulate, and incoherent is suddenly reborn as the best candidate. I call bullshit!]

Harris has consistently demonstrated her deep commitment to Israel’s security and the Jewish community. From her early days in public service to her current role as vice president, she has been a steadfast ally of Israel and a strong advocate for the Jewish people.

[OCS: As a lawyer would argue, this assumes facts not in evidence.]

A champion for Israel’s security and the release of the hostages

One of the cornerstones of Harris’s support for Israel is her dedication to ensuring that the United States provides full funding for Israel’s security.

[OCS: Congress is in charge of allocating funds for Israel’s security, and it was the Biden/Harris administration that held up crucial arms shipments to prevent their use in an ongoing hot war. Harris is more concerned about the Hamas-supporting residents of Gaza than she is about Israeli citizens under continuing daily rocket attacks and other acts of honor. As for hostages, the Biden/Harris administration has done little or nothing to pressure Hamas and others to return the Americans currently being held hostage.]

Throughout her career, she has been unwavering in her support for US security assistance to Israel, understanding that a strong Israel is essential for peace and stability in the Middle East.

In response to unfounded claims that Harris supports an arms embargo on Israel, her team pointed out that “The Vice President has been clear: she will always work to ensure Israel is able to defend itself against Iran and Iran-backed terrorist groups.” This commitment was further demonstrated when the Biden-Harris administration approved a $3 billion sale of F-35 fighter jets to Israel – a critical move to bolster Israel’s defense capabilities.

[OCS: It was her team that responded as Kamala Harris refuses to engage with the media or answer tough questions directly—knowing that the positions of her team members can be instantly disavowed or discredited depending on the prevailing political winds. Approving arms is not delivering arms, especially on a contemporaneous basis.]

Harris played a pivotal role in the passage of the National Security Supplemental Aid package, which provided $15b. in aid to Israel. Despite Republican efforts to delay and weaken the package, Harris worked tirelessly with congressional leadership to ensure its passage.

Her efforts ensured that Israel received the support it needed at a critical time, underscoring her dedication to Israel’s security.

[OCS: Bullshit.]

Since the horrific attacks on Israel on October 7, Harris has been actively engaged with Israeli leaders, including Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Herzog, to reaffirm her support for Israel and discuss the latest developments in Gaza. 

[OCS: As did former anti-Semite, anti-Israel President Obama, the Biden/Harris administration has reviled Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and has provided covert support for his opposition in Israel. Harris has also emphasized the need for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, advocating for diplomatic efforts to achieve peace in the region. It appears that her position leans toward addressing the humanitarian concerns of the terrorist-supporting Palestinians who elected Hamas to represent them.]

She has also been a vocal advocate for eliminating Hamas as a threat to Israel, recognizing that the safety of the Israeli people depends on removing this terrorist organization from power. She has repeatedly met with hostage families, and both she and her Jewish husband, Doug Emhoff, have been active in championing the release of the hostages.

[OCS: Harris is a chameleon, and her message changes with the audience, reflecting a lack of core beliefs other than gaining and maintaining political power. Her Jewish husband is a secular Jew, a nebbish who is a mild-mannered and unassuming figure compared to his high-profile wife, Vice President Kamala Harris.]

Standing with democratic allies

Harris’s commitment to Israel’s security is also reflected in her broader foreign policy approach. She understands that a strong America, connected to and respected by its democratic allies, is crucial for global stability.

Her unwavering support for NATO and her leadership, along with US President Joe Biden, in rallying international support for Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression have shown that she values the alliances that keep America – and by extension, Israel – strong.

A secure and respected America on the world stage is vital for Israel’s security. Unlike the other candidate, who has a record of cozen up to dictators and being unreliable to allies of all kinds, Harris’s leadership ensures that the United States remains a powerful ally to Israel, capable of defending its interests and supporting its right to exist in peace.

[OCS: Under the Obama/Biden/Harris administration, the United States has crapped on its allies, many of whom do not trust America and who are forming tentative alliances with our enemies, notably China and Russia.]

Addressing the climate crisis – a global and Israeli priority

Harris’s leadership extends beyond immediate security concerns to address long-term threats like climate change, which poses significant risks to Israel. The Middle East is one of the region’s most vulnerable to climate change, facing challenges like extreme heat, water scarcity, and the resulting national security issues. 

Harris has been a strong advocate for climate action, recognizing that Israel and the world’s future security is closely tied to the global fight against climate change.

In 2023, she partnered with President Isaac Herzog to launch a $70 million initiative focused on climate-smart agriculture and technology in the Middle East and Africa. This initiative not only strengthens US-Israel ties but also addresses critical environmental challenges that impact Israel’s security and prosperity.

[OCS: Global climate change is a Marxist hoax designed to concentrate political power in the hands of “the elite” and as a vehicle for wealth redistribution. Israel is mostly a desert, and the Israelis have developed great adaptive technologies to benefit the world. Whereas Israel’s neighbors still engage in a real or semantic war with Israel to distract their population and to maintain the power of the ruling class.]

Fighting antisemitism at home and abroad

Harris’s commitment to the Jewish community is not limited to Israel. She has been a leading voice in the fight against antisemitism, both in the United States and around the world.

Together with second gentleman Douglas Emhoff, Harris played a key role in drafting the first-ever National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism, mobilizing over two dozen federal agencies to take actionable steps against this scourge of hate.

Under the Biden-Harris Administration, there has been an increase in funding for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program, which helps secure synagogues and Jewish institutions against hate crimes. Harris has consistently condemned anti-Semitic acts and rhetoric, recognizing the dangers they pose to the Jewish community.

[OCS: Harris often diminishes the impact of anti-Semitism by linking it to the condemnation of Islamophobia. She has yet to condemn the prominent Democrat anti-Semites in her party like Representatives Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Summer Lee (D-PA), Raúl Grijalva (D-AZ), Jesús “Chuy” García (D-IL), Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), Gerry Connolly (D-VA), Cori Bush (D-MO), Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), Delia Ramirez (D-IL) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN).] 

A proven leader for Israel and Jewish Americans

Kamala Harris’s leadership embodies the values that Jewish Americans hold dear: a commitment to justice, equality, and the protection of our planet. Her unwavering support for Israel’s security, her dedication to combating antisemitism, and her leadership on climate action demonstrate that she is the leader our community needs.

In this election we have choices. Vice President Kamala Harris is a longtime proven friend of Israel. Go to the Jewish Democratic Council of America’s fact sheet on Harris’s record, as well as the one on Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz.

Contrast that with a true fact sheet on Donald Trump’s record. Take the time to watch Barbara Streisand and many people who know Kamala Harris personally from the Jewish community speak about her record on a zoom session that was done by Jewish women and their allies.

This election really matters. Take the time to do the research for yourself. Get involved. Your voice and vote is needed.
