ABC'S SMOKE & MIRRORS INTERVIEW OF PRESIDENT BIDEN

Following up on Biden’s widely slammed debate performance, George Stephanopoulos, ABC’s pint-sized Democrat political operative and sycophant, is going for a miracle: to manufacture a Joe Biden that appears coherent and normal for a limited time. Of course, anything is possible through the modern alchemy of drugs.

I find it unbelievable that the progressive communist media is preparing to laud President Biden if he can stay awake long enough to answer a few pre-programmed softball questions and I ask myself, can you believe anything this lying liar says?

Will he deal with America’s four most impactful issues for America?

Inflation: Caused by the deliberate destruction of America’s energy sector and driven by profligate spending on social programs and foreign giveaways, the cost of living is rocketing higher. Investments, especially retirement funds, are being eroded by government-driven inflation—possibly planned so that borrowing can be repaid by “cheaper” money. Technically, we are experiencing stagflation, a stagnant economy with rising prices.

Jobs: The Bureau of Labor Statistics revised their jobs report downward, losing 111,000 jobs from the April and May combined totals. The May jobs numbers were revised downward from 272,000 to 218,000 and the April jobs numbers were revised downward from 165,000 to 108,000. To no surprises, the government’s payroll comprises a substantial portion of the alleged new jobs being touted in the progressive media. Black and Asian unemployment continued upward. Most of the jobs created went to foreign-born, not native Americans, and real wages are lower today than they were when Presiden Biden assumed office.

Illegal immigration impacting healthcare, jobs, housing, education, and our social safety nets: Despite the Biden Administration assuring us that the borders are secure and under control, illegal aliens continue to pour through the porous borders like an invasion force. Even worse, we are finding that the Biden Administration is flying illegal aliens directly into the United States from foreign locations.

Crime and community safety: Our communities are becoming dangerous as progressive legislators negate relax criminal statutes in favor of criminals, many illegal aliens and minority gang members. Likewise, progressive prosecutors are refusing to prosecute criminals or plea-bargaining away the most serious charges, and activist judges are releasing criminals into our communities under the guide of progressive “restorative justice” which favors criminals over victims.

NO! It’s all about me, me, me… Yada. Yada. Yada.

Biden attempts to excuse his bad debate performance as a bad night, a singular episode. I was sick, I was tired.

It appears that Biden’s medical team moderated his meds, and Biden appeared passable but totally delusional and in denial.

Biden’s one truth: It’s about the character of the next president! And, Biden is a man who is corrupt, amoral, and lacking in character. Funny, Biden calls Trump a pathological liar – exactly the description of Joe Biden from his early days in politics. Everything is pure projection: blaming the opposition for your own actions.

The Marxist political correctness culture encourages us to ignore what is really happening and to follow the regime's current narrative. However, it's important to remember that truth and facts are not partisan—they simply reflect reality.  Another classic case of “don’t believe your lying eyes.”

CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATORSHIP: A ROGUE WHITE HOUSE AND THOSE EXECUTIVE ORDERS

A conservatorship for the country?

A conservatorship is when a judge appoints another person to act or make decisions for the person who is developmentally handicapped and incapable of making decisions about their own welfare, conservator of the person, or managing their affairs, known as the conservatorship of the estate. But what if the nation’s chief executive is incapable of running the country’s affairs? Is there something akin to a constitutional conservatorship?

Like most conservatorships, which operate under the authority of the courts and whose actions are subject to judicial review, have Congress and the Courts abrogated their duty to act as a check and balance against improper behavior by the conservator? Or did they participate in the deception for political gain?

And what about those who put complex and far-reaching executive orders before the President of the United States and persuaded his signature? What about those who knowingly and maliciously concealed the President’s infirmities for their own gain or the gain of their political party?

Are those executive orders valid?

Now that we have a clear indication of President Biden’s mental unfitness to faithfully execute the duties of the President of the United States and serve as the Commander-in-Chief, along with proof that some White House staff and Presidential advisors may have put partisan politics before the good of the country, can a reason to nullify harmful executive orders be found within the Constitution, Congress, or the courts?

The list of those who disrespected the United States Constitution or committed illegal acts is growing. It includes the Vice President of the United States and the President’s cabinet-level appointees who failed to invoke the 25th Amendment while they were destroying America’s economy, infrastructure, military readiness, and the safety and security of America and all Americans with their open borders. Jill Biden is guilty of criminal elder abuse.

Who other than Donald J. Trump is capable of closing the borders, restoring military readiness, and reversing those malignant executive orders?

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY -- 2024

Our nation has never faced such an existential crisis as we find under the Obama/Biden administration since the Civil War when the Republicans fought Southern Democrats to abolish slavery.

THE NEW BIDEN NARRATIVE THAT ALLOWS HIM TO SAVE FACE

Today’s pre-scripted narrative is out there for all to see:

Powerful Democrat Party leaders such as former President Bill Clinton, former President Barack Obama, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, James Clyburn, and other Party poohbahs are publicly supporting President Joe Biden and urging him to stay.

A Biden family meeting was held at Camp David and select comments urging Joe Biden to remain the Party’s nominee were leaked to the major progressive media outlets. Especially touted was the forceful insistence of his wife, Jill Biden, and the smartest man he knows, his son Hunter Biden, to stay the course and forge ahead.

Now it is only a matter of time until Joe Biden says, despite all the support and encouragement from everyone,  he is patriotically stepping aside from the nomination, for the good of the nation, the Democrat Party, and the American people-- and to avoid being a distraction in the run-up to the 2024 presidential election. Possibly citing the Constitution and protecting our democracy. Yada. Yada. Yada.

Of course, Biden will refer to the orange Hitler, the fascist that must be defeated in 2024.

Ignore the corruption, arrogance, inflation, destruction of our energy sector and economy, our open borders, the police state, and a country in crisis. Ignore my crimes. Joe Biden To Sit Down With ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos For First Post-Debate TV Interview

Stephanopoulos will interview Biden on Friday, with the “extended” interview, as ABC News terms it, set to air on Sunday on This Week and Good Morning America on Monday. The first portions of the interview will air on World News Tonight on Friday evening, with more on the weekend editions of GMA.

Another interview coup for former Bill Clinton aide and longtime ABC anchor Stephanopoulos, news of the sit-down comes as calls have become louder and louder for the 81-year-old POTUS to either step aside from his rematch against Donald Trump or order a dramatic reset of his clearly faltering campaign. Having said that, Stephanopoulos has proven the go-to guy for Biden when the president has hit the political rocks. <Source>

Of course, Stephanopoulos, the diminutive progressive communist democrat operative and propagandist, refuses to allow the interview to air live, probably at the request of Biden’s handlers. Who knows what stagecraft, including prompts and earpieces, might be involved?

Look for an open convention.

Ignoring the will of the people, at least the Democrat half of the people, and the party primary and caucus process before the party’s national convention, the party poohbahs are pushing an open convention, also known as a “contested convention” or “brokered convention,” which generally occurs when no single candidate secures a majority of delegates. Of course, Biden has pledged delegates and must withdraw to complete the charade.

It’s a funny conception of the Constitution and democracy.

We, the Democrat Party, will ignore the will of the people they expressed in the party primary and caucus process and reserve unto a tiny number of party apparatchiks and power brokers the right to determine who will lead the party. We will use all means, fair and foul, to keep a fascistic dictator from assuming power, as we use those exact powers against our opponents.

THE TRUTH VOLCANO IS ERUPTING

 The pendulum appears to be swinging back toward respect for the U.S. Constitution and The Rule of Law.

 Three of the most consequential Supreme Court Opinions are beginning to restore sanity.

  • The Supreme Court held that a former president has absolute immunity for his core constitutional powers. The question remains: what are those core powers? Trump v. United States

  • The Supreme Court overruled its 1984 decision in Chevron v. Natural Resources Defense Council, which held that Courts should defer to an agency’s reasonable interpretation of an ambiguous statute. The Court ruled 6-3 that Courts may not defer to an agency’s interpretation of the law simply because a statute is ambiguous. Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo

  • In the case of a former Pennsylvania police officer who entered the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021,  the Supreme Court held that to prove a violation of the law, the government must show that the defendant impaired the availability or integrity for use in an official proceeding of records, documents, objects, or other things used in an official proceeding, or attempted to do so. The case is returned to the lower Court to determine whether the indictment can still stand in light of this new and narrower interpretation. Fischer v. United States,

THE OBAMA/BIDEN ADMINISTRATION'S LATEST POLITICAL PRISONER

Today at noon, Stephen K. Bannon will surrender himself to the Danbury Federal Prison in Connecticut to serve four months for the “misdemeanor” of defying an illegal Congressional subpoena.

There is no doubt he is being held as a political prisoner to keep him from participating in Trump’s presidential campaign. Bannon will be the first person incarcerated for defying a congressional subpoena in more than half a century under a statute that is rarely prosecuted.

BANNON-POLITICAL PRISIONER

For those unfamiliar with Bannon’s crime…

Stephen K. Bannon was an advisor/confidant of President Donald J. Trump, who was titled “Chief Strategist and Counselor to the President.”

The illegally constituted “The United States House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol” summoned Bannon to appear before the Committee with requested documents to give testimony about his conversations with Donald Trump relating to January 6 and other matters.

Bannon consulted legal counsel, who then requested President Trump to waive “executive privilege” regarding the documents and testimony, which Trump refused to do.

Again, following legal counsel, Bannon requested the Court’s guidance.

Bannon refused on substantive legal grounds. The Committee recommended that Bannon be found in contempt of Congress, and the House of Representatives adopted that recommendation by a vote of 229-202. The following Republicans voted to punish Bannon, although the Democrats had a clear majority.

Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming (January 6 committee member); Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois (January 6 committee member); Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania; Rep. Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio; Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler of Washington; Rep. John Katko of New York; Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina; Rep. Peter Meijer of Michigan; and Rep. Fred Upton of Michigan. Of course, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi hand-selected Cheney and Kinzinger on the Committee – and named Cheney Vice Chair to avoid the requirement of a ranking member to sign off on any subpoena.

The DOJ decided to prosecute Bannon for a misdemeanor, even though previous scofflaws, like Obama’s former Attorney General Eric Holder, were not prosecuted.

Two Charges Filed for Failing to Honor House Subpoena From Select Committee Investigating Jan. 6 Capitol Breach

Stephen K. Bannon was indicted today by a federal grand jury on two counts of contempt of Congress stemming from his failure to comply with a subpoena issued by the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol.

Bannon, 67, is charged with one contempt count involving his refusal to appear for a deposition and another involving his refusal to produce documents, despite a subpoena from the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol. An arraignment date has not yet been set in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. <Source: DOJ>

In Court proceedings, Bannon was found guilty by the trial court and sentenced to four months in prison and a $6,500 fine. The judge said he would stay the penalty pending Bannon’s expected appeal.

Upon an appeal to a higher Court, a three-judge panel denied the appeal.

Bannon’s attorney requested an en banc hearing before the full appellate Court.

U.S. District Judge Carl J. Nichols ordered Bannon to be jailed, ruling, “I don’t believe that the original basis for my stay of Mr. Bannon’s sentence exists any longer. I no longer consider that his appeal raises substantial questions of law likely to reverse his conviction.”

In a last-ditch effort to remain free while he challenges his conviction on charges of defying a subpoena from the House committee, the feckless Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. denied Bannon’s request in a single sentence: “The application for release pending appeal presented to the Chief Justice and by him referred to the Court is denied.”

At issue…

The legitimacy of the January 6 Committee and its authority to issue a subpoena.

The limits of executive privilege, including whether another President can waive it.

Judicial error or misconduct since Judge Nichols ruled that Bannon could not argue at trial that he relied on his lawyer’s advice or believed Trump’s claim of executive privilege barred his cooperation.

Punitive prosecution of a defendant who has followed the advice of counsel and sought the Court’s guidance.

Selective prosecution for interfering with a presidential election.

Bottom line…

Bannon is a hard-ass and will not be side-lined, but he will likely prevail in his appeal if the Court and Jury follow the law.

We are so screwed, and instead of praying for Bannon, we are redoubling our effort to get out the vote for a decisive Trump victory in 2024.

CAN SOUTH DAKOTA'S COMMON-SENSE CONSERVATISM COEXIST WITH MAGA POPULISM?

There is every indication that ‘common-sense conservatism’ may be on a collision course with MAGA-style populism. The wrong Vice President could seek to thwart a rapid turnaround of a government infested with progressive communist Democrats, especially given Trump’s age and lifestyle, which could see the Vice President becoming the President.

What makes this scenario troubling is that South Dakota’s John Thune will likely succeed Mitch McConnell as Speaker of the House, giving enormous influence to Burgum and Thune in Congress. It is also expected that South Dakota’s Governor, Kristi Noem, may receive a powerful cabinet appointment like Secretary of the Interior or Secretary of Energy, given that North Dakota ranks third in the nation, after Texas and New Mexico, in crude oil reserves and production.

What are the chances that Burgum will morph into a Romney when faced with significant social issues?

Burgum is considered generally conservative but has demonstrated that his ideology was tempered with pragmatism on specific issues like education reform and handling the pandemic, whereas Mitt Romney was said to be a moderate RINO – Republican In Name Only) when dealing with social issues like healthcare, climate change, and immigration.

Both Burgum and Romney are well-educated and have achieved substantial success in business. However, as most people know, the government cannot be treated as a business with efficiency and data-driven metrics, given the divisions of power within the government and competing interests.

  • Economy: Doug Burgum’s position on Social Security and Medicare is unclear. He implemented state tax changes as governor, as well as supported infrastructure investments in North Dakota. He opposes investment funds that prioritize social and environmental responsibility.

  • Immigration:  Doug Burgum’s positions on immigration are unclear, including his position on deporting undocumented immigrants, providing a path to citizenship, family separations at the border and granting asylum. He has supported policies that allow state and local governments to turn away refugees from resettling in their jurisdictions.

  • Foreign policy:  Doug Burgum has said China is the greatest threat to the U.S. He supports continued support for Ukraine. His position on defending Taiwan is unclear.

  • Crimes and guns:  Doug Burgum supports the First Step Act. He opposes federal legalization of marijuana. He is open to restricting access to guns for people who might harm themselves or others, but opposes requiring background checks. His position on barring people from carrying guns in schools is unclear. He opposes allowing gun manufacturers to be sued in court. It’s unclear whether he owns guns.

  • Climate:  Doug Burgum’s position is unclear on whether climate change is caused by human activity or whether it is making extreme weather events worse. He favors market-based solutions over regulation. He supports clean-energy tax credits and subsidies, though not for electric vehicles.

  • Education:  Doug Burgum opposes student loan debt forgiveness. He opposes teaching students about systemic racism. His position on teaching sexuality and gender in schools is unclear. He opposes allowing transgender students to use bathrooms or play sports on teams that correspond with their identified gender. He opposes access to gender-affirming care for minors.

  • Elections: Doug Burgum recognizes Joe Biden as the legitimate winner of the 2020 election. It does not appear that he has publicly committed to accepting the certified results of the 2024 election. It’s unclear whether he would consider pardoning people convicted in connection with the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

  • Abortion:  Doug Burgum opposes a federal law on abortion, though as North Dakota’s governor, he signed one of the strictest abortion bans in the country. He supports exceptions that would allow abortions in cases of rape, incest or when a pregnancy is life-threatening. His position on mifepristone, one of the pills used in medication abortion, is unclear.

Bottom line…

There is no guarantee that Burgum will be chosen as Trump’s running mate; he is likely to be offered a high-profile cabinet position. Given Trump’s historically poor choices in vetting and selecting government appointees, now is the time for constitutional conservatives to vet potential officeholders.

Without strong and significant support, Trump can be overcome, once again, by bureaucratic resistance and the progressive communist democrat’s lawfare.

No matter what is going on with Biden and the progressive communist democrats, we must achieve an unassailable majority in Congress as well as take the Presidency. Don’t talk—vote—and make sure your like-minded relatives, friends, and co-workers vote as soon as they receive their ballots. If possible, register and train to be a poll watcher.

Chinese Embassy lobbies Hill against DNI report on leaders’ corruption

A Chinese Embassy official recently wrote to Congress to lobby against legislation requiring Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines to produce a report on corruption and hidden wealth held by Chinese leaders through their relatives, including President Xi Jinping.

Wang Xijun, a counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Washington, wrote to the office of Rep. Andy Ogles, Tennessee Republican, criticizing legislation mandating the DNI report. The DNI report on Chinese corruption was due to Congress in December under a defense bill signed into law in late 2022. A DNI spokesman has said intelligence analysts are working on the legally required report.

[OCS: Of course, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence was so compromised under Obama appointee James Clapper, the 4th Director of National Intelligence, that you can no longer believe any intelligence from the highly politicized agency.

Likewise, the 7th Director of National Intelligence, Avril Haines, a Biden appointee with significant connections with  Obama, James Brennan, Susan Rice, Antony Blinken, and others in the progressive communist democrat orbit, cannot be trusted.  

Mr. Ogles recently introduced additional legislation that would give the DNI six more months to produce the report and also require officials to testify on the issue.

Companion legislation was introduced in the Senate by Sen. Marco Rubio, Florida Republican, and could pass in some form in the coming days, a congressional aide said.

“This will serve as another campaign to slander and defame the Chinese Communist Party and the Chinese leadership,” Mr. Wang wrote on June 18, adding the pending report “seriously challenges China’s political red line and constitutes a blatant political provocation.”

Mr. Wang said the Chinese Communist Party “serves the people” and produced “two miracles” — rapid economic growth and social stability.

[OCS: Perhaps someone should point out the “miracle” of the Communist Chinese Virus, which decimated the world, prevented an economic collapse, and lined Chinese official’s pockets.]

The Chinese diplomat said U.S. efforts to undermine the legitimacy of the party would produce “a mistaken policy” and sour U.S.-China relations.

[OCS: Sour U.S.-China relations? You mean more than their spying, intellectual property theft, and aggression toward Taiwan, the home of global semiconductor manufacturing and those surrounding the South China Sea, and killing thousands of Americans by shipping uncontrolled Fentanyl precursor chemicals to cartels?]

“We hereby urge Congressman Ogles to stop pushing forward this act,” he said.

The Congressional Research Service, in a report previewing the forthcoming DNI report, stated earlier this month that senior Chinese leaders, including Mr. Xi, are engaged in corruption and hiding hundreds of millions of dollars in wealth by using relatives to disguise their illicit activities.

[OCS: Already, I detect the whiff of bullshit as the understated amounts are most likely in the billions, especially when you consider investments in U.S. property, companies, and other global assets.]

The CRS report stated that Mr. Xi by 2012 had amassed at least $376 million in company investments, an indirect 18% stake in a rare-earth mineral company worth more than $311 million, and $20.2 million holdings in a technology company. The investments were made through relatives, a common practice used in hiding forbidden wealth and corruption by Chinese communist officials in China.

The DNI report is expected to undermine Mr. Xi’s large-scale anti-corruption campaign that included investigations into millions of ruling party members.

Since 2012, 266 members of the Chinese Communist Party’s Central Committee were ousted, allegedly for corruption. Among them were Defense Minister Li Shangfu, also a former member of the Central Military Commission, and Foreign Minister Qin Gang, the CRS report said.

[OCS: Corruption in communist countries is a way of life and baked into the system. Corruption charges are a convenient pretext to liquidate your political opponents and usurpers.]
