A CALIFORNIA STATE AUDIT OF HOMELESS SPENDING: WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?

The Joint Legislative Audit Committee requested an audit of the State’s homelessness funding, including an evaluation of the efforts undertaken by the State and two cities to monitor the cost‑effectiveness of such spending. In general, this report concludes that the State must do more to assess the cost-effectiveness of its homelessness programs.

Unfortunately, everything governed by the progressive communist democrat uni-party in California is a political calculation to advance their toxic agenda and to secure the support of the special interests who fund their campaigns, provide voter support, and run registration drives.

According to the report, “more than 180,000 Californians experienced homelessness in 2023—a 53 percent increase from 2013.”

“To address this ongoing crisis, nine state agencies have collectively spent billions of dollars in state funding over the past five years administering at least 30 programs dedicated to preventing and ending homelessness.”

And, “according to the Legislative Analyst’s Office, the State allocated nearly $24 billion for homelessness and housing during the last five fiscal years, or from 2018–19 through 2022–23.”

So where did the money actually go, and how much was siphoned off for administrative expenses and no-bid service contracts?

The short answer is they don’t want to know. The system is deliberately defective by design.

  • Data indicate that two of the five programs we reviewed—Homekey and the Housing Support Program—are likely cost‑effective. Homekey allows the State to provide individuals with housing that is less expensive than newly built units. The Housing Support Program helps house families who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness and costs less than the State would spend if these families were homeless.
  • The State has not collected adequate outcome data to assess the cost‑effectiveness of the remaining three programs. Without such data, it will lack assurance that these programs represent the best use of state funding.

How long does it take to develop an adequate tracking system, and why does the State of California withhold check issuance and endorsement data based on privacy concerns?

As is our standard practice, we communicated with Cal ICH [California Interagency Council on Homelessness] while it was reviewing our draft report to discuss any concerns it may have about the report. After these conversations, we informed Cal ICH that we would make changes to the recommendation that Cal ICH develop and publish a scorecard of the cost and outcomes of the State’s homelessness programs. The recommendation can be found here.

Bottom line…

Audit, my ass! The term audit is misleading; the conclusions are always recommendations, there is no mention of waste, fraud, and abuse, and the self-serving system run by the politicians on behalf of the special interests rolls on unabated—fueled by borrowed money and taxpayer obligations.

DIVERSITY IN MATHEMATICS IS BULLSHIT

Sitting on the throne, the proper venue for considering such weighty matters as the math equity movement, which demands that society must include diversity, equity, and inclusion into our mathematics teaching framework.

So, let's consider the case of the lowly zero and one used to represent the binary system underlying today's computers.

In practical terms, zero and one are just convenient, human-friendly recognition schemes that indicate the presence or absence of an electrical current or charge in a circuit. By definition, binary implies that a circuit is either on or off and a charge is present or not. There are no other states unless you enter the mysterious land of quantum mathematics, where something can be indeterminant until it is observed.

Against this background, what are these math equity proponents asking?

  • Does the one share some of its charge with the zero so they become equal?
  • Does the one owe its charge to zero as a form of reparation for something that occurred long ago and has nothing to do with the present state of the circuit?
  • Should the zero be elevated to a one in the name of equity?

Suppose all this sounds like bullshit being spread over the field of mathematics by bigots who are operating in their own self-interests. In that case, that's because it has the characteristics, stench, and consistency of bullshit.

Yet, there are those sucking up lecture fees, book sales, and consultant gigs for pursuing this nonsense. 

Bottom line...

In reality, including diversity, equity, and inclusion into our mathematics framework is little more than the identity aspect of disparate impact, which falsely suggests that each member of an identity class must be present and perform in proportion to that identity's representation in the general population. If such a relationship is not present, it is assumed to be an indicator of bigotry or oppression--even without conscious intent.

Disparate impact is statistical nonsense nullified by the normal, or Gaussian, distribution curve, which illustrates a probability distribution that appears as a "bell curve" when graphed. There will always be outliers, high and low values, achievers and non-achievers, rich and poor, strong and weak—such is human nature.

Boosting high achievers in mathematics benefits society, whereas boosting low achievers by the same amount produces additional mediocrity worldwide while curtailing the potential of high achievers. In a world of finite resources, it is more beneficial to support high achievers. 

Those who suggest we concentrate on reducing our mathematics curriculum to the lowest common denominator or relaxing achievement testing standards are either self-serving, self-absorbed bigots or are trying to disguise the failure of mathematics teaching techniques or teachers themselves.

Stripped of jargon and fancy phrases, most individuals, institutions, and so-called scholarly journals promoting social justice in mathematics are full of unadulterated bullshit.

WHO DUN IT? WHO WHACKED THE TERRORIST FINANCIER?

Once again, we are left to wonder as our government and media lie…

Mohammad Sarur was found dead at his home in the mountain town of Beit Meri outside Beirut after being shot at least five times

A suspected financier for Hamas has been found dead at his villa in Lebanon amid growing tensions between Israel and Iran’s proxies.

A body identified as Mohammad Sarur, who had been accused of funneling tens of millions of dollars from Iranian authorities to the terrorist group, was found at his home in the mountain town of Beit Meri outside Beirut after being shot at least five times on Tuesday, a security official told the AFP news agency. His money remained at the scene and was not taken by the gunman.

Sarur was sanctioned by the US Treasury Department for acting as a “middleman” between Iran’s Quds Force and Hamas as he was reportedly in charge of “all money transfers” between them.

The death of a 57-year-old man with the same initials was originally reported by Lebanon’s National News agency on Tuesday night.

Sanctions against Sarur date back to 2019 when US authorities suspected him of acting as an intermediary between Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and Hamas, claiming the money he helped to funnel could be used to carry out terrorist attacks on Israel from Gaza.

The US sanctions designation said Sarur was identified as early as 2014 to be working with Hezbollah operatives and being in charge of “all money transfers” between the Quds Force and Hamas’s armed wing the Qassam Brigades.

Security officials in Lebanon did not immediately name any suspects in the killing. Sarur would have been a prime target for an Israeli assassination but it would have been an unusual operation for Israel to carry out.

Israel in recent weeks has ramped up its attacks on Iran proxies across the Middle East, assassinating high-profile individuals in Lebanon and Syria. But all of them were killed in high-precision drone or missile strikes.

What is going on?

Occam’s Razor, the simplest explanation is preferable to one that is more complex, suggests the Israeli’s whacked him to interrupt the flow of funds to the terrorists.

However, because we can no longer trust our government, or and other government, or the media, other explanations are possible and plausible.

  • The Obama/Biden CIA whacked him to increase Iranian outrage and/or pressure on Israel.
  • The Iranians whacked him in a false flag operation or because he had sticky fingers and the death could be attributed to Israel.
  • A third-party in the Middle East like the Saudis or the Egyptians could have whacked him to ratchet-up the pressure on Israel.
  • He was whacked to provoke an Iranian retaliatory strike on Israel which provides a reason for Israel to attack Iranian nuclear facilities prior to a break-out which would imperil Saudi Arabia and other regional actors.

Some believe that Iran already has nuclear weapons and that the Obama/Biden Administration is being blackmailed to delay the announcement until after the 2024 election. Others would encourage a nuclear strike on Israel just because their religion is a death cult and the easiest way to join Allah.

MEALY-MOUTHED JORDANIANS, EGYPTIANS, AND THE CHEESE-EATING SURRENDER MONKEYS

In light of the intolerable human toll of the war, we, the leaders of Egypt, France and Jordan, call for the immediate and unconditional implementation of U.N. Security Council Resolution 2728. We underline the urgent need to bring about a permanent cease-fire in Gaza.

We emphasize the urgency of implementing the Security Council’s demand for the immediate release of all hostages and reaffirm our support for the negotiations brokered by Egypt, Qatar and the United States that address a cease-fire, as well as the hostages and detainees.

[OCS: If you are wondering why HAMAS, with their existence threatened in Rafah, keeps turning down cease-fire initiatives that link the cease-fire to the return of hostages, it is because they have indicated to the international community that most of the hostages are either dead or in poor condition. Witness the refusal of HAMAS to provide a list of hostages and their medical condition or allow the International Red Cross to visit the hostages. It should come as no surprise that it is the Obama/Biden Administration that insists that Israel remove this hostage precondition from the negotiation.]

Consistent with international law, Israel is under an obligation to ensure the flow of humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian population, a responsibility it has not fulfilled. We reiterate the Security Council’s demand to lift barriers to humanitarian assistance and for Israel to immediately facilitate humanitarian assistance through all crossing points, including in the North of the Gaza Strip and through a direct land corridor from Jordan, as well as by sea.

[OCS: Never, in the history of warfare, has any party been responsible for the care and feeding of an opponent’s population whose majority openly elected and sides with the enemy forces, especially when such “humanitarian assistance” is stolen or confiscated by enemy combatants.]

Lastly, we underline the urgency of restoring hope for peace and security for all in the region, primarily the Palestinian and Israeli people. We emphasize our determination to continue working together to avoid further regional spillover, and we call on all actors to refrain from any escalatory action. We urge an end to all unilateral measures, including settlement activity and land confiscation. We also urge Israel to prevent settler violence.

[OCS: There has never been peace and security in the Middle East. When the Muslims were not attacking Jews, they were attacking other Muslims. Of course, the editorial authors do not want regional spillover or escalation as it would imperil their own existence. It is disingenuous and morally repugnant that the authors would “urge Israel to prevent settler violence” while ignoring ongoing terrorism and continuing rocket attacks against Israel’s civilian population. Where is the call for the HAMAS terrorists to surrender and bring an end to the conflict?]

We stress our determination to step up our joint efforts to effectively bring about the two-state solution. The establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state on the basis of the two-state solution, in accordance with international law and relevant U.N. Security Council resolutions, to live side by side in peace and security with Israel, is the only way to achieve true peace. The Security Council must play a role in decisively reopening this horizon for peace.

[OCS: Neither Egypt nor Jordan have offered land to the Palestinian Arabs despite their historical presence in Jordan. Egypt and Jordan retained control over the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, respectively, until 1967. The idea that the Palestinian Arabs can “live side by side in peace and security with Israel” is a total impossibility. The Palestinian Arabs completely controlled Gaza and turned it into an armed terrorist state under the tutelage of Iran.]

Cui Bono, who benefits…

A simple analysis of the equities and interests involved reveals the truth.

Egypt: Abdel Fatah El-Sisi has a legitimate reason to fear Palestinian-Arab troublemakers.

Egypt fears two things: one, a major influx of Palestinian-Arabs that could result in an existential threat against the Egyptian government and result in a brutal Palestinian extermination campaign by Egypt's military rulers; and two, the exposure of Egypt-Gaza terrorist tunnels in Rafah which would raise uncomfortable issues relating to Egypt’s complicity in weapons trafficking into Gaza.

Egypt has resisted all international efforts to open the Rafah crossing to Palestinian-Arab refugees, even on a temporary “humanitarian” basis.

Jordan: Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein has a reason to fear Palestinian-Arabs and a wider conflict in the Middle East.

In 1946, the Hashemite Kingdom of Transjordan was formed out of whole cloth and its ruling family selected by the Allied powers after World War I. Therefore, the Kingdom has no claim to historical presence and its ruling family no legitimate claim to the throne. Since Jordan is comprised mostly of regional Arabs, including millions of Palestinian Arabs, the fear that a wider regional conflict could make them vulnerable to overthrow, especially with Iranian backing of the Palestinian opposition.

To the extent that Jordan fears Palestinian-Arabs, one need only to refer to Black September (1970) when the Jordanian army launched a military campaign against Palestinian groups and led to the expulsion of the Palestinians from Jordan. The Palestinians decamped to Lebanon where they contributed to the country's instability, particularly during the Lebanese Civil War (1975-1990).

France: Emmanuel Macron is a feckless poseur.

What can I say about the “cheese-eating surrender monkeys” who openly collaborated with the Nazis in WWII. France is grappling with the increasingly dangerous rise of Islamism, and the creation of “no go” zones around Paris and the rest of the nation. This is an attempt to appease France’s Muslim population and shore-up Macron’s leadership.

I am ashamed of the United States and loathe the moral ambiguity of our leadership, which looks evil in the face and equivocates: on the one hand, we have evil, and on the other hand, perhaps we can use this evil for our own political advantage. These are the ass-wipes that are decimating our military and who are willing to leave Americans behind to be murdered or mutilated in Gaza as they did in Afghanistan.

This would not have happened under President Trump. It is now an indisputable fact: the progressive communist democrats are hell-bent on destroying America from within and cannot be trusted to protect and defend our Constitution or our country.

We have entered a quasi-police state and desperately need reform.

Hold your nose, if you must, and vote for Donald Trump – and give him the majority he needs in the House and Senate to start restoring America to her former glory.

UNBELIEVABLE: DOJ PURSUES TANGENTAL J6 PARTICIPANTS, IGNORE THOSE CHANTING "DEATH TO AMERICA" IN DEARBORNISTAN

Yes, I know it is a free speech issue, but if the FBI can investigate tangential J6 participants and parents speaking out at school board meetings, why can't they investigate those who are actually calling for violent jihad?

'Death to America' chants in Dearborn echo across social media, draw local condemnation

Video that captured chants of "death to America" and "death to Israel" by some attendees of a Dearborn rally on Friday went viral over the weekend, underscoring tensions over U.S. support for Israel's six-month-long assault against Hamas in Gaza.

[OCS: I find "support" an inappropriate word choice as it appears that the Obama/Biden Administration is doing everything it can to use the Israeli conflict to solicit the U.S. Muslim vote--even if it means supporting terrorism and terrorists.]

The rally was held on the International Day of Al-Quds, an annual pro-Palestinian event held on the last Friday of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan to express support for Palestinians in their decades-old land dispute with Jews. People gathered in front of the Henry Ford Centennial Library on Michigan Avenue in Dearborn, holding Palestinian flags and yellow signs that read "Money for jobs and education, not for Israel's occupation." They chanted in unison, "Free, Free Palestine" and "End the occupation now."

[OCS: Many Muslims are still on welfare, which they view as a Jizya tax paid by the dhimmis, the protected non-Muslim subjects of a state governed by Islamic law. As for the occupation, the land historically belongs to the Jews while the Muslims can lay legitimate claim to Jordan.]

The event was organized by Tarek Bazzi, a local activist, who spoke out against what he called Israel's "satanic actions" and "the United States government providing funds that allow the atrocities." He quoted the Black Panther movement and Malcolm X talking about oppressive U.S. actions in other countries and, during Bazzi's brief pause, a man from the crowd shouted three times in Arabic, "Death to America." Several in the crowd can be heard echoing his chant in response each time.

In his speech, Bazzi decried continued U.S. support for Israel and called for condemnation of America's role. "Any system that would allow such devilries to happen and would support it does not deserve to exist on God's Earth," he said of the U.S. "So when these fools ask if Israel has a right to exist, the chant 'Death to Israel' has become the most logical chant shouted across the world today."

[OCS: Fundamental Islam is antithetical to Western Civilization, and, paraphrasing Bazzi, does not deserve to exist on God's Earth until reformed and welcoming of other cultures.]

At that time, a man in the crowd yelled "Death to Israel" in Arabic, and several in the crowd echoed his words, as well.

"This is no longer an extreme position, this is no longer a fringe position, this is the position of every single human being on earth that has a mind, a heart and a soul and has a political insight and awareness," Bazzi said. <Source>

Why is the United States so reluctant to call out terrorists and terrorist sympathizers?

WTF: U.S. SIDES WITH IRAN TERRORIST GROUP

Is it possible that the feckless, “lead from behind” Obamacons in the Obama/Biden Administration are being blackmailed into tacitly supporting Iran’s HAMAS proxy in return for delaying the news release of Iran’s nuclear breakout—something that would be so damaging to the Democrat Party as to ensure an election defeat?

Or is it possible that the Democrats are so focused on the Muslims in Michigan (aka Dearbornistan) and Minneapolis (where the “call to prayer” chant in Arabic is blasted from rooftop loudspeakers) that they are willing to disadvantage Israel, full well knowing that the majority of American Jews will instinctively pull the Democrat lever?

I wonder if the White House is also managing the unwinnable Ukraine situation, just with less exposure and media hostility, especially since Victoria Nuland and her State Department crew precipitated and participated in the 2014 color revolution and the unnecessary provocation of Russia with its NATO machinations.

Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, a former House speaker and a key ally to President Biden, has joined the effort by dozens of other radical progressive communist democrats to halt weapons transfers to Israel. HOUSE DEMOCRATS WHO SUPPORT TERRORISTS CONTINUE ATTACK ON ISRAEL

The Israeli military has withdrawn more ground troops from the southern Gaza Strip, leaving just one brigade there six months after the start of its offensive, a spokesperson for the force said on Sunday.

The military has been reducing numbers in Gaza since the start of the year to relieve reservists and under growing pressure from its ally Washington to improve the humanitarian situation. It did not give details on its reasons for withdrawing soldiers or the numbers involved.

Meanwhile, Egypt is preparing to host a new round of talks aimed at reaching a ceasefire and hostage release deal, which both Israel and Hamas said they would attend. <Source>

Why are we catering to terrorists who continue to fire missiles into civilian areas of Israel? Where is the international demand that all Hamas hostilities cease, with the surrender of Hamas leaders and weaponry, the return of any of the hostages and bodies, and with the proviso that the destruction of Gaza will be as complete as the U.S. action in Iraq if not initiated within 72 hours?

Bottom line…

I find it appalling that the morally bankrupt Obama/Administration has, and is, causing so much destruction, death, and despair with their activist policies, which are driven by politics and profits. How many innocent individuals have died in Ukraine and Israel because of U.S. interference?

We are screwed, the innocent Ukrainians are screwed, and Israel and the Israelis are being screwed by the Democrats who ignore the self-inflicted invasion of criminals, crazies, and terrorists pouring over our open borders. HOUSE DEMOCRATS WHO SUPPORT TERRORISTS CONTINUE ATTACK ON ISRAEL

Once again we are faced with a cohort of radical progressive communist democrats who support terrorism and atrocity over freedom, human rights, and peace on Earth. Radical members of the House of Representatives who should be primaried and voted out of office for their un-American views.

But, then again, you can't trust Democrats to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic," and keep America safe and secure.

These are the asswipes that support terrorists and welcome criminals, crazies, and terrorists into our country with their open border policy.

Forget the terrorists killed in Gaza and think about the Americans being killed by illegal aliens and drugs like fentanyl. 

These are the fools that allowed our enemies to embed sleeper cells of military-age men into our country, to be activated at the will of a hostile foreign power.

Now, we find these same fools supporting terrorism and acting as unregistered foreign agents of enemy regimes.

We write to express our shared concern and outrage regarding the recent Israeli airstrike which killed seven World Central Kitchen aid workers, including an American citizen. In light of this incident, we strongly urge you to reconsider your recent decision to authorize the transfer of a new arms package to Israel, and to withhold this and any future offensive arms transfers until a full investigation into the airstrike is completed. If this strike is found to have violated U.S. or international law, we urge you to continue withholding these transfers until those responsible are held accountable. We also urge you to withhold these transfers if Israel fails to sufficiently mitigate harm to innocent civilians in Gaza, including aid workers, and if it fails to facilitate – or arbitrarily denies or restricts – the transport and delivery of humanitarian aid into Gaza.

[OCS: It is the height of hypocrisy to express outrage for accidental collateral war damage when those who precipitated the conflict, Hamas, are not held accountable for their continuing terrorism and the rocket bombardment of innocent Israeli citizens.

To deny a life-sustaining arms package based on the deaths of a few civilians is ludicrous and the mark of an enemy propaganda campaign conducted by anti-Semites, terrorist sympathizers, and useful idiots.

There are few “innocent” civilians in Gaza, the majority of whom hate Israel and want to see Jews dead. Remember, this is the very same population that elected a known corrupt terrorist organization to govern them.

That Israel is responsible for the care and feeding of an enemy population during a period of open warfare is unprecedented and prolongs the conflict. Especially when Hamas is looting aid packages at gunpoint and killing its own population.]

It is estimated that over 32,000 people have been killed in Gaza since the start of this war,1 nearly half of whom are children.2 The most recent report from the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification initiative (IPC) indicates that 1.1 million people in Gaza are experiencing catastrophic food insecurity and widespread famine is imminent and expected to occur anytime between now and the next month if there is not an immediate cessation of hostilities.

[OCS: It is outrageous that we accept the casualty numbers from an enemy who always inflates damage estimates or creates them out of whole cloth. How many of these casualties are real and represent Hamas terrorists, or the civilian casualties resulting from Hamas using civilians as human shields or locating firing positions and arms depots in civilian homes, schools, hospitals, and Mosques? Feeding the population should be a priority of the Gaza government, in this case Hamas.]

While we appreciate your administration’s recent efforts to increase the delivery of desperately needed humanitarian aid to Gaza, these efforts will not be sufficient to meet the extraordinary need on the ground. The Israeli government’s restrictions on the flow of aid into Gaza, coupled with the death and grave harm that aid workers have faced during this war, are compounding this hunger crisis. Recent reports indicate that hundreds of aid trucks sit idle outside the Rafah border crossing due to Israel’s restrictions. And now over 200 aid workers have been killed since the start of the war. These attacks and deaths are having a chilling effect with the World Central Kitchen and other humanitarian groups now suspending their operations in Gaza. Until now, World Central Kitchen has provided more than 43 million meals to Palestinians in Gaza, supporting 68 community kitchens throughout the territory and serving more than 170,000 hot meals daily. Its services are irreplaceable, and its absence will fuel the growing hunger crisis in Gaza.

[OCS: The Israeli government has a duty to ensure that contraband is not smuggled into Gaza with legitimate aid packages. How many of these dead aid workers are attributed to Hamas as they hijack aid convoys or rob and kill civilians who have accepted aid packages? The Rafah crossing, located on the Egypt–Gaza border, is controlled by Egypt under a 2007 agreement between Egypt and Israel. Egypt controls the crossing, but imports through the Rafah crossing require Israeli approval, which is not routinely withheld. The World Central Kitchen is a celebrity-run and supported organization whose influence is magnified by the media.]

Prime Minister Netanyahu has stated that this was a “tragic case of our forces unintentionally hitting innocent people.” If this is true, it is a shockingly unacceptable mistake. We strongly urge your administration to conduct a thorough investigation into this airstrike to determine how the aid convoy could have been mistakenly targeted despite coordinating their movements with the Israeli military and traveling in clearly marked vehicles.

[OCS: This is slander. Israel would not deliberately target aid workers—like the United States mistakenly targeted and killed over fifty innocent people in drone strikes. Shit happens in war; it is both unavoidable and sad. Israel puts its own people at risk to protect a civilian population that actively wishes to kill them.]

Given the horrifying facts on the ground, we are also greatly concerned by your recent decision to authorize an arms transfer to Israel, which reportedly includes 1,800 MK-84 2,000-pound bombs, 500 MK-82 500-pound bombs, and 25 F-35A fighter jets.6 The MK-84 2000-pound bombs have been linked to multiple mass casualty events in Gaza and are capable of killing or wounding people more than 1,000 feet away. We are also concerned by recent reports that the administration is considering authorizing another $18 billion arms transfer to include dozens of F-15 aircraft.

[OCS: Not one fucking word about the thousands of missiles and other arms delivered to Iranian proxy groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and others.]

In light of the recent strike against aid workers and the ever-worsening humanitarian crisis, we believe it is unjustifiable to approve these weapons transfers. We again strongly urge you to withhold any offensive weapons transfers until the investigation into the airstrike is concluded and, if it is found this strike violated U.S. or international law, those responsible are held accountable. And we again urge you to ensure that any future military assistance to Israel, including already authorized transfers, is subject to conditions to ensure it is used in compliance with U.S. and international law.

[OCS: It is unjustifiable to serve as unregistered foreign agents of a corrupt, hostile foreign government comprised of murderous terrorists with a genocidal charter to kill Jews and obliterate Israel.]

Bottom line…

These House Members not only hate Jews and Israel, they hate Americans and America. They are a clear and present danger to our nation as they represent the progressive communist democrat agenda.

I no longer pretend there are moderate Muslims. Since the Quaran is literally the word of Allah, it is blasphemy to alter a text that is antithetical to Western civilization, freedom, and human rights. 

Show me any moderate Muslim in a position of power that openly condemns Hamas.
