THE ATTACK ON KASH PATEL BEGINS

Many a truth is spoken in jest…

Investigation

Here we have a self-proclaimed “investigative journalist” spouting nonsense…

Even funnier are the remarks from a disgraced Department of Justice Official who appears to be in legal and reputational peril when Kash Patel investigates unconstitutional and illegal actions of top-ranking DOJ and FBI officials

Speaking to CNN on the subject of Donald Trump’s nomination of Kash Patel for the Director of the FBI…

[Host]

Andrew, I just want to start first with you and just get your reaction to this news tonight.

[Andrew McCabe]

Yeah, well, it’s a terrible development for the men and women of the FBI and also for the nation that depends on a highly functioning, professional, independent Federal Bureau of Investigation. The fact that Kash Patel is profoundly unqualified for this job is not even like a matter for debate.

[OCS: I think that the well-documented events, including sworn testimony and documentary evidence. has conclusively demonstrated that the FBI could not be described as “highly functioning, professional, and independent.” The unfounded assertion that “Kash Patel is profoundly unqualified for this job is not even like a matter for debate” is disproved by even a cursory glace at his resume.

  • Deputy Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Counterterrorism at the National Security Council
  • Chief of Staff to the Acting U.S. Secretary of Defense
  • Staff Director for the House Intelligence Committee
  • Federal public defender
  • Federal prosecutor and trial attorney in the United States Department of Justice National Security Division
  • Legal liaison to the United States Armed Forces (Joint Special Operations Command)
  • Florida Public Defender]

So I think what we should really be thinking about right now is what does this signal in terms of Donald Trump’s intent for the FBI? The installation or the nomination, I guess we should say at this point, of Kash Patel’s FBI director can only possibly be a plan to disrupt, to dismantle, to distract the FBI and to possibly use it as a tool for the president’s political agenda. And, you know, as an organization, we know what that looks like.

[OCS: Considering the degree to which the FBI has been weaponized and politicized, not only its actions against the regime’s political enemies, but Parents demanding answers at school boards, Catholics wishing to worship in Latin, and domestically spying on Americans without warrants or proper predicates, the agency needs to be reformed. Or, in McCabe’s terms, “dismantle” and “disrupt” a corrupt, nonresponsive agency failure to accomplish its mission.]

This country has been there before, right? The pre-Watergate FBI, the J. Edgar Hoover FBI, struck fear in the hearts of Americans across the spectrum of politicians, people in entertainment, people in the civil rights community, because the director operated at the direction of presidents to collect political intelligence and to utilize the legal authorities, the investigative authorities of the FBI to terrorize and intimidate Americans.

[OCS: Whoops! A little short-sighted as he overlooks the Johnson, Clinton, Obama, and Biden Administration who used the FBI as the regime’s enforcers.]

So the question is, is that where we’re going back to with this nomination? I would argue that Kash Patel would be the perfect person for Donald Trump to nominate if that’s in fact his intent for the FBI.

[OCS: According to Kash Patel, he wants to restore the FBI to its former status as a premier law enforcement status that investigates criminal and national security matters without fear or favor. To change the agency’s motto back to “Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity” from Fumbling Bumbling Idiots.]

Meet Andrew McCabe, Former Deputy Director of the FBI, Acting Director of the FBI (2017–2018)

Andrew McCabe served as the Deputy Director of the FBI from 2016 until his departure in early 2018. Before this role, he worked in various capacities at the FBI, including as the Assistant Director of the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division. McCabe had a long career in law enforcement, focusing on counterterrorism, counterintelligence, and national security matters. In 2017, he briefly served as Acting Director of the FBI following the dismissal of James Comey, the previous FBI Director. McCabe was considered a career professional with deep national security and law enforcement expertise.

McCabe’s career became embroiled in controversy amid the FBI’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, as well as the broader probe into possible connections between President Donald Trump’s campaign and Russian officials. Several issues contributed to the controversy surrounding McCabe:

  1. The Clinton Foundation Investigation: McCabe faced scrutiny for his role in a probe into the Clinton Foundation and handling the Hillary Clinton email server investigation. His wife, Jill McCabe, had received political contributions from a political action committee connected to Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe, a Clinton ally, which led to allegations of a conflict of interest.

  2. Firing by Jeff Sessions: In March 2018, McCabe was dismissed by Attorney General Jeff Sessions just days before his planned retirement. The firing was based on an internal FBI inspector general’s report claiming that McCabe had misled investigators regarding his role in approving media disclosures about the Clinton Foundation investigation.

  3. Allegations of Political Bias: Throughout 2017 and 2018, McCabe became a target of criticism from President Trump, who repeatedly attacked him publicly. Trump accused McCabe of political bias, claiming McCabe had supported Hillary Clinton and sought to undermine Trump’s presidency. McCabe was also criticized for his perceived involvement in the FBI’s bogus investigation into Trump’s campaign.

  4. Internal FBI Investigation: McCabe’s actions were scrutinized within the FBI, with accusations that he had not been truthful in interviews about his role in media leaks regarding the Clinton investigation. The Justice Department Inspector General’s 478-page report, published on December 9, 2019, found that McCabe lied to or misled federal investigators at least four times, with three instances occurring while he was under oath. The report also stated that his approval of disclosures to the media was within his power but was a policy violation because it was done “in a manner designed to advance his personal interests at the expense of Department leadership.”

  5. Dubious Associations: James Comey, Christopher Steele, Bruce and Nellie Ohr, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and various Clintonites and Obamacons.

Bottom line…

You know you are over the target by the amount of flak thrown at you.

We are so screwed if the GOP pussies out and refuses to support President Trump’s nomination of Kash Patel for FBI Director.
