ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: LYING AND LIABILITIES
We should be wary of any government legislation that attempts to protect or indemnify operators of artificial intelligence platforms from the legal consequences of misinformation created by an AI system trained to reject the truth in favor of regime narratives and outright lies.
In a conversation with Bari Weiss of The Free Press, iconic tech entrepreneur Marc Andreessen explains the government-corporation symbiotic relationship and how regulation can be used to implement AI censorship machines that intentionally lie to their public users and advance the government narrative of the day.
Marc Andreessen explains that AI is following a path similar to social media, becoming a "censorship machine" right from the start, as AI companies intentionally incorporate censorship practices learned from social media. He emphasizes that these decisions are "100% intentional," with companies hiring individuals from the social media sector to implement these policies. Andreessen argues that AI, unlike social media, is much more dangerous because it could become the "control layer for everything" in the future, including healthcare, education, and government. If AI systems are biased or politically controlled, it could lead to a "hyper Orwellian" society. He also points out that the push for AI regulation by large companies is a tactic of "regulatory capture," where big companies use regulations to secure a monopoly and prevent new competitors from emerging. This, he believes, is a dangerous and strategic move that must be resisted.
This is an example of a government disinformation campaign that cost American lives.
We have already witnessed the extreme consequences of government censorship and lying in the suppression of cheap, available, and effective COVID therapies like Ivermectin in favor of expensive government-subsidized experimental vaccines which were not vaccines and did not prevent or cure the “disease” the purported to cure. We have sworn testimony and documentary evidence that the government coerced social media platform operators into suppressing accurate information that the government later acknowledged as truthful.
Review of the Emerging Evidence Demonstrating the Efficacy of Ivermectin in the Prophylaxis and Treatment of COVID-19 Since 2012, a growing number of cellular studies have demonstrated that Ivermectin has antiviral properties against an increasing number of RNA viruses, including influenza, Zika, HIV, Dengue, and most importantly, SARS-CoV-2. Insights into the mechanisms of action by which Ivermectin both interferes with the entrance and replication of SARS-CoV-2 within human cells are mounting. Data are also now available showing large and statistically significant decreases in the transmission of COVID-19 among human subjects based on data from 3 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and 5 observational controlled trials (OCTs) with 4 of the 8 (2 of them RCTs) published in peer-reviewed journals. Conclusions: Meta-analyses based on 18 randomized controlled treatment trials of Ivermectin in COVID-19 have found large, statistically significant reductions in mortality, time to clinical recovery, and time to viral clearance. Furthermore, results from numerous controlled prophylaxis trials report significantly reduced risks of contracting COVID-19 with the regular use of Ivermectin. Finally, the many examples of ivermectin distribution campaigns leading to rapid population-wide decreases in morbidity and mortality indicate that an oral agent effective in all phases of COVID-19 has been identified. <Source> |
Government’s Response…
FDA settles lawsuit over ivermectin content that doctors claimed harmed their practice The US Food and Drug Administration has settled a lawsuit over some of its posts about Ivermectin, including what may have been one of its more popular pandemic-era social media campaigns. In August 2021, to discourage people from using Ivermectin to prevent or treat Covid-19, the FDA tweeted “You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Serious y’all. Stop It.” and posted a similar message on Instagram. The tweet got nearly 106,000 likes. The agency added that it has “not admitted any violation of law or any wrongdoing, disagrees with the plaintiffs’ allegation that the agency exceeded its authority in issuing the statements challenged in the lawsuit, and stands by its authority to communicate with the public regarding the products it regulates. “FDA has not changed its position that currently available clinical trial data do not demonstrate that Ivermectin is effective against COVID-19. The agency has not authorized or approved Ivermectin for use in preventing or treating COVID-19.” <Source>
FDA Sued For Concealing Documents on Government Suppression of Ivermectin And Hydroxychloroquine To Treat COVID-19 America First Legal (AFL) has sued the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as well as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for illegally concealing government records related to the suppression of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and Ivermectin to treat COVID-19, despite multiple requests under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). <Source>

Bottom line...
We must be extremely wary of our elected officials and scrutinize the backgrounds and actions of their appointees. We must guard against the industry-to-government revolving door and protect against an activist judiciary that implements binding rules and regulations using prearranged lawsuits, capitulations, and consent decrees to sneak past legislators.
We are so screwed.
