DEMOCRATS PREPARING TO ATTACK AMERICA

WILEY-NICKEL

The progressive communist democrats are, once again, preparing to undermine the will of the people who clearly voted for “something different, something not democrat” in the 2024 election.

So why am I not surprised that Wiley Nickel (D-NC) took to the floor of the House of Representatives to call for the creation of a “shadow government” to push back against the incoming Trump Administration?

Chair recognizes the gentleman from North Carolina, Mr. Nickel, for five minutes.

As Democrats, we simply failed to convince the American people we have better ideas to solve their problems. But we do. Now, we need to dust ourselves off and get ready to fight.

We can’t let Donald Trump’s extreme MAGA agenda go unanswered or unopposed. Zone defense isn’t going to work. We’re going to have to go man-on-man.

So here’s an idea for how to organize our opposition. We need to borrow from our British friends and appoint a shadow cabinet to fight back against the worst abuses of a second Trump administration.

The special relationship between the United States and Britain extends not just to our strength on the global stage but also to our shared commitment to democracy.

Across the Atlantic, the British have something we don’t: a team from the opposition that mirrors the government’s own cabinet members. They watch the cabinet closely, publicly challenging, scrutinizing, and offering new ideas. It’s another form of checks and balances, a quiet guardrail that holds those in power accountable.

With a shadow cabinet, there’s no hiding. Each decision by the government faces a ready counterpoint, not just from the media and voters but also from political leaders poised to step in. Shadow cabinet members can also become the clear point people for advocacy and grassroots organizers, making it easier to unify and amplify the solutions that those in power are ignoring.

It’s democracy’s insurance policy, and it strengthens the government, too. There’s no room for lazy ideas when rivals stand ready to step in, and it strengthens the government, too. So, what would a shadow cabinet look like here in the United States? We certainly would make it our own American version.

We have an amazing wealth of talent on the Democratic side of the aisle in Congress, people loyal to the Constitution and ready to be the watchdogs for an out-of-control Trump administration.

[OCS: In modern history, there has never been an administration so openly corrupt and hostile to American Citizens. From weaponizing government agencies, investigating, prosecuting, and punishing political opponents to the Vice President and President to covertly sell the influence of their office to America’s sworn enemies. One could only characterize such behavior as institutionalized subversion and treacherous behavior.]

Democratic leaders Hakeem Jeffrey in the House and Chuck Schumer in the Senate could appoint 26 members of Congress to go one-on-one with each member of Donald Trump’s cabinet.

If Trump attempts to weaponize the justice system against his political opponents with Matt Gaetz at the helm, we could see incoming Senator Adam Schiff as our shadow attorney general, arguing against replacing our independent prosecutors with Trump loyalists.  [View the Video on C-Span]

Another Un-American Democrat Scheme.

Given our country’s distinct Constitutional construction, the idea of a British-style shadow government in the United States is un-American and inherently flawed.

Attempts to introduce such a model would blur the lines between political opposition and governance, potentially destabilizing our Constitutional framework by creating parallel structures that bypass the will of voters.

Our U.S. Constitution is designed to ensure that elected officials hold power directly through the people’s vote, and no alternative“government-in-waiting” should exist to overshadow or bypass this process.

In the UK, the opposition parties create a shadow cabinet to mirror and challenge the current government’s policies, which work only within their parliamentary structure. However, in the U.S., where power is divided between the executive, legislative, and judicial branches, such a model would undermine the very principles of democratic representation.

By its nature, a shadow government would disrupt the balance of power, creating a parallel structure that dilutes the authority of those elected to serve.

Instead of empowering unelected opposition figures, the U.S. political system relies on the transparency of elections, checks and balances, and an active, engaged electorate to ensure accountability.

The effectiveness of our U.S. political process lies in the transparent, accountable institutions where opposition parties and public debate provide necessary scrutiny—not in a body of hyper-partisan Democrat government operatives.

Adam Schiff, a Demonstration of the Moral Bankruptcy of the Democrats.

Given the preponderance of what we know today, there is little doubt that Representative Adam Schiff conspired with third parties to fabricate and exaggerate critical elements of the law to conjure up an impeachable offense against President Donald Trump where none existed. Based on sworn testimony and documentary evidence, Adam Schiff is a liar, leaker, perjurer, and manipulator of false and misleading evidence for political purposes.

Schiff was censured by the House of Representatives, which formalized the rebuke of his conduct as a serious breach of public trust and a violation of ethical standards expected from public officials, contributing to a broader narrative about partisan overreach and misconduct within the political system.

The Democrats Are Attempting to Thwart Existing Prosecutorial Norms.

The resignation of prosecutors, especially Department of Justice Assistant Attorneys General, is a well-established tradition supporting the seamless integration of a new presidential administration, maintaining stability and accountability within the Department of Justice. This turnover is a standard part of the U.S. political process, as each new president typically brings in their own team of appointees to align with their policy priorities and vision for the country.

The resignation of senior DOJ officials reflects the shift in leadership and is a practical necessity to ensure that the department functions under the new administration’s legal and regulatory framework.

Bottom line…

It appears that the progressive communist democrats are not finished selling out America to her enemies and shitting on American citizens.

We are so screwed.
