2024 ELECTION: DOWN TO THE WIRE

Watch the corrupt, politicized media lie, lie, lie as we approach election day.

When I’m trying to simplify the Democrat-Republican issue, there’s a straightforward way to do this.

The easiest way to do this is to ask a question: Would our nation function better if it looked more like the Democratic vision under Harris/Walz, or would it function better if it looked more like the Republican vision under Trump?

It’s a simple question., and it’s straightforward to answer.

Nobody wants to answer this question because Trump has a positive record of domestic and foreign achievements. Vice President Harris, an integral part of Biden’s policies, has a negative record in foreign and domestic policies.

So instead, there’s obfuscation because few want to say “competence over color” lest the progressive communist democrats brand them as racists, bigots, or ‘phobes and affect their social media reach or cancel them altogether. Or, in extreme cases, affect their employment.

Instead, you get people who are saying things like, well, you know, it’s really about what happened on January 6 without realizing that the Democrats staged the event so no challenges to state election integrity and alternate slates of electors could be heard. If everything was legitimate, why did the January  Committee destroy transcripts and evidence before a scheduled turnover of those items to the incoming Republican majority? And why has Kamala Harris never mentioned having her life threatened by a bomb found outside the DNC? 

So I ask you...

Breaking the Chains: Reclaiming Our Representative Government

I am deeply frustrated with the current political landscape and how systemic issues affect everyday lives.

In today’s political landscape, it often feels like we are caught in a system that prioritizes power over the well-being of the people.

The two major political parties have become entrenched in a battle for dominance, sacrificing the needs of their constituents in favor of self-serving agendas. This is not just a political failure; it is a betrayal of the very principles of representative government.

Take a moment to consider the billions of dollars funneled into our inner cities, only to be siphoned off by a select few—often referred to as the “backroom boys.” These individuals, driven by profit, increase gentrification, which has systematically priced out the poor and minorities that need these resources the most.

The result? Neighborhoods that once thrived are now a shadow of their former selves, leaving minorities and low-income families without the support they desperately need.

Then there’s our education system, trapped by powerful unions prioritizing their interests over our children’s future. Public schools, particularly in underserved areas, churn out graduates who struggle to find meaningful employment. These are not just statistics; they are lives affected by an education system that seems more invested in maintaining the status quo than empowering the next generation. Another generation of functional illiterates trained in perverse sexual practices and political activism--unmoored from reading, writing, math, civics, history, and proper English. 

Let’s not forget our universities, which have increasingly offered degrees that do little to prepare students for the real world. Many graduates emerge with a mountain of debt and degrees that lead them down paths of frustration and disappointment—often into roles within government or NGOs rather than into careers in the private sector that can foster real change.

The truth is that determining our political beliefs and navigating the complexities of our system is not as straightforward as it should be. From birth, we are influenced by factors beyond our control—media narratives, societal expectations, and political dogma. We are often nudged into a second-choice life that doesn’t reflect our values or aspirations.

So, how do we reclaim our power and break free from this cycle of corruption? It starts with recognizing the nature of our political parties. While the Democratic Party carries a legacy intertwined with slavery, segregation, and the KKK, it seems to have lost any sense of accountability for the harm it has inflicted as it falsely promises change “this time.”

Bottom line…

Voting for progressive Democrats often perpetuates a flawed system that has failed to deliver for its constituents. Billions are wasted in patronage, six-figure no-show commissions, and board jobs that add nothing to the public’s benefit.

Conversely, while the Republican Party may not have all the answers, it is crucial to differentiate between the party and the systemic issues that plague our society.

Change won’t come from simply switching party allegiance or waiting for a savior to emerge. It requires a collective effort to demand accountability and transparency from our elected officials.

There is little doubt that our system of elected representation is disappearing as the progressive communist democrats are misleading and misdirecting our attention to what is happening--taking our hard-won civil rights along with it.

Every minute of every day, both by their actions and their inactions, the progressive communist democrats are prioritizing political power and scheming to gain or maintain a cushy political job over representing their constituency.

Everybody is familiar with the “Golden Rule. “No, not the one that says, “He who has the gold makes the rules,” but the one about treating others as you wish to be treated.

But the rule only works if we truly practice it for everyone. There can be no half measures, or the failure of this country—of this society, in fact—will be inevitable.

ANTI-SEMITIC PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRAT LEAKERS OR SPIES?

In recent years, concerns surrounding the integrity of the U.S. government have become increasingly urgent.

One area of deep concern has emerged: the notion of a partisan fifth column embedded within the bureaucracy, intent on dismantling America from the inside, driven by ideologies under the banner of social justice or sympathies for foreign actors. Coupled with this internal threat are hostile foreign actors in government, academia, and the media exploiting vulnerabilities in our systems. This complex situation raises critical questions about our national security, the vetting of government and private sector employees, and the consequences for those who breach trust.

The Threat of a Partisan Fifth Column

The term “fifth column” refers to groups or individuals who undermine a nation from within, often aligning themselves with external adversaries, including foreign spies and those within the government who prioritize their ideological agendas over national interests.

The rise of identity politics and social justice movements has sparked intense debate, but when these movements infiltrate governmental processes, they risk compromising the effectiveness and neutrality of essential institutions.

Spies or anti-Semitic Partisans?

Leaked U.S. Documents Purport to Show Israel’s Plans to Attack Iran

A “deeply concerning” leak of U.S. classified documents apparently involving Israel’s preparations for a retaliatory attack on Iran was posted on the Telegram Channel of “Middle East Spectator,” which is described as pro-Iranian.

CNN authenticated the documents attributed to the U.S. Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) and National Security Agency (NSA). Any intelligence from those agencies is among the most closely guarded secrets of the U.S. government.

“The leak is very concerning. There’s some serious allegations being made there, an investigation underway, and I’ll get a briefing on that in a couple of hours,” Speaker of the House Mike Johnson told CNN’s “State of the Union. “We’re following it closely.”

One of the documents says the Israeli Air Force is preparing for a strike on Iran in retaliation for Iran’s missile barrage earlier this month, and conducted “a second large-force employment exercise.” The Air Force is “likely to practice air-to-air refueling and combat search and rescue operations with a large number of aircraft,” according to the documents as reported by Politico.

Another document, attributed to the NSA, reports that “Israeli air force exercises involving air-to-surface missiles, also believed to be in preparation for a strike on Iran,” according to CNN. <Source>

[OCS: There is no doubt in my mind that our former un-American Communist-in-Chief Barack Hussein Obama and his fellow travelers did everything possible to allow Iran to pursue nuclear weapons and ballistic missile delivery systems. And that the Biden Administration, under the guidance of Obama’s acolytes, rehabilitated a nearly bankrupt Iran and enabled a continuation of their state-sponsored terror programs against Israel. So, it is not a great leap of faith to believe these leaks came from Iranian spies or “official sources.”

Let us not forget that nobody wants to talk about the slow-walked FBI investigation into the Biden administration’s Iran envoy, Rob Malley, who allegedly moved classified information onto his personal email and assembled a pro-Iran working group inside the United States. Or Ariane Tabatabai’s employment with the Department of Defense as the Chief of Staff for the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict, as well as her relationship with the Iranian regime. ]

Lax Vetting and Accountability.

One of the most alarming aspects of this situation is the apparent laxity in vetting government workers and contractors. In an era where threats can emerge from within and outside our borders, the standards for hiring and maintaining government personnel should be rigorously upheld. Yet, reports of insufficient background checks and oversight persist.

The consequences of inadequate vetting are severe. Individuals with radical ideologies or ties to hostile entities can slip through the cracks, gaining access to sensitive information and positions of power. This lack of vigilance invites potential espionage and can have dire implications for national security.

The Punishment for Spies and Leakers.

Moreover, the penalties for spies and leakers appear disproportionately lenient. In an environment where trust is paramount, the ramifications for betraying that trust should reflect the seriousness of the offense. Yet, espionage cases are often met with negotiated settlements rather than stringent penalties. This raises the question: are spies, real or imagined, merely viewed as currency in the broader context of diplomatic negotiations?

When punitive measures are inadequate, it conveys that leaking sensitive information to the media or collaborating with foreign adversaries carries little risk. This perception can embolden potential infiltrators, further jeopardizing national security.

Unfortunately, we have seen the politicization of our nation’s premier intelligence and law enforcement agencies, which appear to be beholden to a partisan regime over true allegiance to our nation and her Constitution.

The Need for Stricter Vetting in Academia and the Media.

Another area of concern is the vetting of university researchers and workers, particularly those involved in projects with national security implications. The standards applied in classified settings should extend to academic institutions engaged in research funded by government contracts. The intersection of academia and national security is increasingly blurred, and rigorous vetting must be a priority to prevent the transfer of sensitive information to foreign actors.

Bottom line…

If sensitive governmental and private sector roles are filled by individuals more committed to ideological agendas than to public service, the very foundation of democracy is jeopardized.

The dual threat of a partisan fifth column and hostile foreign actors necessitates immediate and decisive action. A comprehensive review of vetting processes, accountability measures, and the consequences for breaches of trust is crucial for safeguarding the integrity of our government.

As citizens, we must advocate for a system prioritizing national security over ideological agendas. Only by addressing these vulnerabilities can we hope to protect our democracy’s foundational principles and ensure a secure future for all Americans.

LYING, LEAKING, PERJURER, AND EVIDENCE FABRICATOR ADAM SCHIFF IS BAD FOR CALIFORNIA AND THE NATION

While bad things were happening in both domestic and foreign arenas, Representative Adam Schiff was Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence from 2019-2022. During this time, he virtually ignored national defense and concentrated on destroying Donald Trump.

Adam Schiff was censured and publicly reprimanded in 2023 by the House of Representatives for making false statements and misleading the public during his investigations into the impeachment inquiry against former President Donald Trump and allegations regarding Russian interference in the 2016 election. Much of the so-called evidence was hearsay and conjecture that would not have been admissible in a court of law. Schiff conspired with the accusers and later denied that his office was heavily involved in orchestrating the original false complaint.

As I noted previously in blog posts, Schiff is not a genuine California resident, as his “primary residence” is located in Maryland.

Adam Schiff’s conflicting 'principal' residences in mortgage, election papers raise fraud concerns

In the two decades before he became the Democrats' U.S. Senate nominee in California, former House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff repeatedly declared in mortgage and election filings that both of his homes – one in California and the other in Maryland – were his "principal residence." The claims have now prompted an ethics complaint and could be prosecutable as fraud, experts said.

Americans are allowed to claim just one home as their primary residence: the one they live in the majority of the year, according to the federally backed lender Freddie Mac. But Schiff alternately declared both of his properties in the two different states as “principal” on multiple mortgage and election forms dating to 2003 and reviewed by Just the News.

Those declarations over the years won him financial and political benefits like lower mortgage interest rates, tax advantages and the ability to run for election in a California House district.

In at least three instances, documents show that in 2009 and again in 2011 and 2013, Schiff refinanced his Maryland home and declared it was his “principal residence” at the same time he had declared his principal residence was in California, according to 2009 and 2011 financing docs for his Burbank condo.

In addition to the constitutional requirements as set forth in the U.S. Constitution, California requires specific residency requirements…

To qualify as a U.S. Representative or Senator from California, candidates must meet specific residency requirements:

For U.S. Representatives:
  1. Age: Must be at least 25 years old.
  2. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Residency: Must have been a resident of California for at least five years before the election and must reside in the district they wish to represent at the time of the election.
For U.S. Senators:
  1. Age: Must be at least 30 years old.
  2. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Residency: Must be a resident of California for at least nine years prior to the election and must reside in the state at the time of the election.

Bottom line…

Now that Schiff is running for the Senate, it is even more important to note that Schiff’s loyalties were to himself and the Democrat Party, very rarely to the Californians he purported to represent.

I am endorsing former Dodger Steve Garvey, a conservative interested in public safety, economic growth, and immigration reform rather than the pursuit of Donald Trump.

If Schiff wins, we are so screwed.

To require foreign nationals residing in the United States to file a standardized questionnaire and biometric data, and for other purposes.

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the "FAIR Act" (Facilitating Accessible Immigration Reform).

SECTION 2. REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS.

(a) Mandatory Questionnaire and Biometric Data

  1. Every foreign national residing in the United States shall be required to complete and submit a standardized questionnaire along with biometric data to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) within 180 days of the enactment of this Act.
  2. Responsible guardians must file on behalf of their children, and custodians of incarcerated individuals shall ensure proper filing for their wards.

(b) Consequences of Non-Compliance

  1. Any foreign national who fails to file as required shall be subject to immediate deportation upon contact with any law enforcement or social services agency, without further judicial proceedings.
  2. Deportation shall apply to any unregistered illegal alien and their illegal alien relatives to their country of origin or another nation willing to accept them.

SECTION 3. ACCOUNTABILITY FOR FILING.

(a) Organizations Facilitating Filing

  1. Any organization that facilitates the filing of the questionnaire must comply with this Act and may be subject to fines, penalties, and loss of tax privileges if found to circumvent the law.
  2. Individuals involved in circumventing this law shall face felony charges, fines, and possible imprisonment.

(b) Fees for Assistance

  1. Fees charged by individuals or organizations assisting with the filing shall be capped at fifty dollars per filing.

SECTION 4. DATA COLLECTION AND IMMIGRATION REFORM.

(a) Purpose

  1. The data collected through the standardized questionnaire will be utilized to enumerate and stratify illegal aliens in preparation for crafting equitable immigration reform legislation.
  2. Fair and equitable immigration legislation cannot be developed without comprehensive data to identify and vet segments of the illegal alien population.

SECTION 5. ENFORCEMENT.

The Secretary of Homeland Security shall have the authority to enforce the provisions of this Act, including the imposition of fines and penalties as stipulated.

SECTION 6. EFFECTIVE DATE.

This Act shall take effect immediately upon enactment.

Section 1: Short Title This Act may be cited as the “Voter Identification for Election Integrity Act.”

Section 2: Purpose The purpose of this Act is to establish a requirement for voters to present valid identification at the polls, thereby enhancing the integrity and security of the electoral process.

Section 3: Definitions For the purposes of this Act:

  1. “Voter Identification” means a form of identification that includes the voter’s name and photograph.
  2. “Valid Identification” includes, but is not limited to:
    • A state-issued driver’s license

    • A military identification card
    • Any other government-issued identification containing the voter’s name and photograph.

Section 4: Requirements

  1. Voter ID Presentation:

    • Voters who do not have valid identification may obtain a provisional ballot, which will be counted if the voter provides a valid ID within [specified time frame, e.g., 48 hours] after Election Day.

    • Individuals with disabilities who are unable to obtain identification.

Section 5: Marking of Non-Citizen Licenses

  1. States shall prominently mark all licenses issued to non-citizens to clearly indicate their status.
  2. Such markings shall be designed to ensure visibility without compromising the dignity of the holder.

Section 6: Compliance and Funding

  1. Any state found not in compliance with the provisions of this Act one year after its passage shall lose federal funding related to election administration and voter outreach.
  2. The U.S. Department of Justice shall be responsible for monitoring compliance and enforcing this provision.

Section 7: Sanctuary State Status No state may claim sanctuary state status or otherwise circumvent the requirements of this Act.

Section 8: Legal Challenges In the event that any provision of this Act is legally challenged, such provision shall remain in effect until final adjudication by the United States Supreme Court.

Section 9: Implementation

  1. The state shall develop a public outreach campaign to inform voters about the new identification requirements.
  2. Funds shall be allocated to ensure that all eligible voters can obtain valid identification at no cost.

Section 10: Penalties

  1. Any individual found guilty of impersonating a voter or voting without valid identification shall be subject to penalties including fines and/or imprisonment as defined under state law.

Section 11: Effective Date This Act shall take effect on [Insert Effective Date], allowing sufficient time for public awareness and compliance.

Section 12: Severability If any provision of this Act is held to be unconstitutional or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Bottom line…

It is about time that we recognize that we are citizens of the United States and that this country belongs to us, not to interlopers and certainly not to politicians.

If we do not demand the enactment of similar legislation, we need to remove all existing politicians, local, state, and federal, and replace them with like-minded non-attorney citizens.

AL SMITH DINNER: A WASTE OF TIME

I just finished watching the annual Al Smith Dinner on behalf of Catholic charities.

Trump toasts Catholics, roasts absent Harris at Al Smith dinner

Former President Donald Trump won over the crowd at the Al Smith dinner with joke after joke at the expense of Vice President Kamala Harris, who declined to attend in person but appeared by video with a former “Saturday Night Live” comedian.

Ms. Harris was the first presidential candidate in 40 years to stiff-arm an invitation by the Archdiocese of New York to attend the charity fundraiser, an absence that did not go unnoticed by those in attendance, including Mr. Trump.

“Catholics, you gotta vote for me. You’d better remember that I’m here and she’s not,” Mr. Trump told the cheering crowd at the white-tie Thursday night fundraising event for Catholic charities.

I do not know what dinner the so-called journalists at The Washington Times were watching. The evening’s introductory comedian, Jim Gaffigan, was horrible, and Donald Trump’s jokes, read off his notes, were abysmally flat.

What a waste of an hour! If I had to describe the evening in one word, it would be “Cringy.”

THE CHANGING FACE OF THE U.S. ARMY: PRIORITIZING DEI AND FASHION OVER WARFIGHTING?

In recent years, the U.S. Army has made a concerted effort toward prioritizing political correctness, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). While these initiatives aim to create a more welcoming and representative military, they often come at the expense of traditional warfighting values.

Gone are the days when the Army’s focus was solely on combat readiness, marked by uniformity in discipline and a “suck it up” mentality. Today, there’s a pronounced emphasis on sensitivity and accommodation, reshaping the culture of the force. This shift dilutes the essence of what it means to be a soldier, with concerns that it could lead to distractions from core mission objectives.

Weimer: Army to Redesign PT Uniform

Among a host of initiatives to strengthen the NCO corps, the Army is redesigning its physical training uniform, the service’s senior enlisted leader announced Oct. 15 during the Association of the U.S. Army’s 2024 Annual Meeting and Exposition.

“It’s going to look a little different than what we’ve done in the past. We’re not going to get locked into the same T-shirt,” Sgt. Maj. of the Army Michael Weimer said, adding that the current uniform “doesn’t represent who we are as warfighters.”

The effort will be led by Program Executive Office Soldier and Sgt. Maj. Robert Haynie, senior enlisted leader in the office of the assistant secretary of the Army for acquisition, logistics and technology, Weimer said. The “new PT kit” will be rolled out in 2025 after beta testing, he said.

“If we’re going to be fit, we’re going to look good and represent the Army brand,” he said. <Source>

The prime directive of maintaining military effectiveness and preparing for the complexities of modern warfare should trump political correctness, DEI, accommodations, and other such nonsense.

We are screwed if we must rely on beta-males and their fucking pronouns over killing our enemies and destroying their support infrastructure. I suggest that instead of toying with tee-shirts, we develop ways to kill people cheaper and stop using million-dollar weaponry to kill ten people.

With the relaxed standards, who gives a crap what you look like when exercising… l want someone who can pull a 230-pound soldier with an additional 70-pounds of “battle-rattle” out of the line of enemy fire.

What could you call a Secretary of State who may have compromised America’s national security by maintaining close personal and professional ties with an alleged spy for Iran, a hostile foreign power, and who is extorting America’s best ally in the Middle East into providing aid and comfort to a hostile combatant nation in a time of war?

And how would you characterize Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, who injects himself into matters of state that disparages and disadvantages an American ally in a time of war? 

Biden Administration Demands Israel Increase Aid to Gaza — or Risk Losing Weapons Funding

The Biden-Harris administration confirmed on Tuesday that Israel has 30 days to increase the flow of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip or risk losing access to U.S. weapons funding.

Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin sent a letter to Israeli officials on October 13 outlining their concerns about the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza and demanding that Israel take steps to increase the flow of aid. The letter came after a fatal Israeli strike on a hospital tent complex in central Gaza that Israel identified as a Hamas command center.

The letter, a copy of which was posted online by an Axios reporter, demands Israel increase the level of daily aid to 350 trucks, implement additional humanitarian pauses in fighting, and offer increased security for designated humanitarian zones.  It assigns further blame to the “onerous liability and customs requirements” implemented by Israel along with new vetting procedures.

[OCS: It is a fact that the majority of humanitarian aid received by the Gazans is looted by Hamas and used to support their fighters or sold on the black market to exchange for weapons or line the pockets of the corrupt Hamas leadership, which lives a luxurious life somewhere other than Gaza.] 

“We are particularly concerned that recent actions by the Israeli government, including halting commercial imports, denying or impeding 90 percent of humanitarian movements” and other restrictions have kept aid from flowing, Blinken and Austin wrote in the letter.

[OCS: This is a lie put forth by the enemy.]

Israel has 30 days to “reverse the downward humanitarian trajectory,” the pair wrote, or else it “may have implications” for future weapons transfers and funding under the Foreign Assistance Act, which bars the U.S. from providing aid to any country that “prohibits or otherwise restricts, directly or indirectly, the transport or delivery of United States humanitarian assistance.”

[OCS: This is extortion, pure and simple, that provides aid and comfort to our enemies.]

U.S. State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller confirmed the veracity of the letter, claiming it was a private correspondence that the U.S. was not planning to reveal publicly.

“The letter was not meant as a threat,” White House national security spokesman John Kirby told reporters. “The letter was simply meant to reiterate the sense of urgency we feel and the seriousness with which we feel it, about the need for an increase, a dramatic increase in humanitarian assistance.”

A senior defense official claims the letter is like one sent by Blinken in April that sought “concrete measures from the Israelis.”

This appears to be the most severe rhetorical escalation since President Biden threatened to withhold certain shipments of American weapons to Israel if Prime Minister Netanyahu decided to carry out his invasion of Rafah in May, the lone remaining Hamas stronghold.

In a phone call with the Israeli leader last week, Biden emphasized “the imperative to restore access to the north, including by reinvigorating the corridor from Jordan immediately,” per the Washington Post.

COGAT, the Israeli body responsible for aid distribution throughout the Gaza Strip, rejects the notion that the country is impeding aid. “Israel has not halted the entry or coordination of humanitarian aid,” it announced Wednesday.

“It is unfortunately UNRWA and others, and the World Food Program is another one, who simply spend their time perpetuating this conflict rather than pulling their finger out and actually doing the job which they were designed to do,” Israeli prime minister’s office spokesman David Mencer said in July. “Stop blaming Israel.” <Source>

Let us remember that Antony Blinken is totally corrupt.

It was Intelligence Community veterans, however, led by former officials who’d served in the highest ranking posts in the Obama-Biden CIA and ODNI, who generated the notorious election-eve letter in which 51 such officials endeavored to deceive voters into dismissing the Post’s laptop reporting as bearing “the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” Indeed, we now know this letter was instigated at the suggestion of Antony Blinken – then a Biden-Harris campaign adviser, now the Biden-Harris administration’s secretary of state – and that the “classic earmarks” line was suggested by James Clapper, the Obama-Biden Director of National Intelligence.

A clear and present danger...

A traitor who provides aid and comfort to an enemy, whether declared or not, during wartime embodies a profound betrayal of their nation and its values. This complicity, especially in acts that result in the death of American soldiers, transforms the traitor into a direct adversary, undermining the sacrifices made by those who serve. By aligning with the enemy, they jeopardize military operations and erode public trust and morale. Their actions are a stark reminder of the delicate balance between loyalty and treachery, revealing how personal choices can have devastating consequences for the greater good. Such betrayal ultimately serves to embolden the enemy, perpetuating a cycle of violence and undermining the very foundations of democracy and national security.

Bottom line…

At no time in history has any nation been extorted into supporting their enemy’s population that voted for terrorist governance and celebrated the brutal massacre of that nation’s civilians. To label aid to an enemy that promotes terrorism and anti-American sentiments as being humanitarian is to overlook that traitorous activity of giving aid and comfort to the enemy in a time of war.

A pink-haired DEI trainer has slammed Oregon’s forestry department for hiring on the basic of merit rather than identity.

Megan Donecker filed a complaint about her former boss Mike Shaw and moaned about him telling her that he sought the ‘candidates most qualified for the job.’

DEI advocates like Donecker say hiring should be done through an ‘intersectional lens’ whereby applications from people of marginalized backgrounds are given greater weight.

Shaw, who earns $192,000-a-year as deputy head of Oregon’s Department of Forestry, has been put on leave over Donecker’s complaint.

Donecker, who worked as the department’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion chief claimed six queer staffers didn’t ‘feel safe or comfortable’ at work because they could not have ‘conversation around pronouns.’ <Source>

Emails show the allegations relate to “unprofessional conduct with subordinate staff.”

The emails that the Oregon Department of Administrative Services released today shed only a little light on Shaw’s issue.

On Aug. 6, Shaw’s boss, Cal Mukumoto, the state forester, sent DAS director Berri Leslie an email with the subject line “ODF sensitive issue.”

That same day, Mukumoto sent Shaw a letter telling him he was “duty stationed at home on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation regarding alleged misconduct.” While he is on leave, Shaw is cut off from state facilities and equipment.

The alleged misconduct is not specified in Mukumoto’s letter, but DAS included other emails that show a series of emails from a former female Department of Forestry diversity, equity and inclusion official expressing frustration that Shaw had excluded her from what the agency calls “leadership team” meetings.

The official, whose name DAS blacked out, sent one of Shaw’s emails to her to others in the agency. In the email, Shaw told the employee the leadership team was “re-focusing on fiscal responsibility, prioritization of core business, and importantly acknowledging the integrity of a leadership meeting intended for managers.”

The woman pushed back in a Feb. 21 email. “Is DEI not part of the core business of ODF?” she wrote to Shaw and other top ODF officials. “Is the goal not to build it into the basics? My job, as I understand it, is to help operationalize DEI into ODF. I cannot do that if I am not actively in the room where conversations are happening, decisions are being made, and connections are occurring.”

Rather than responding to the substance of the DEI official’s concerns, acting ODF HR director Wendy Heckman chastised the woman for the tone of her email. “I’m dismayed by the disrespect and unprofessionalism conveyed in your response,” Heckman wrote. <Source>

We are increasingly finding individuals inserted into a professional environment who exploit race and gender issues or tensions to attract attention and pursue their own warped agendas. They often inflame divisions and conflicts rather than fostering constructive dialogue. If necessary, they will create exploitable issues where none exist to attract attention, justify their existence, and reinforce their relevance.

Personally, I am tired of being asked to affirm the delusions of individuals who, while they might not be mentally ill, are far outside the mainstream of American life. I have no problem with minorities or marginal individuals so long as they do not interfere with or degrade safety systems or impact the quality of my life or freedom of choice.

Such is the problem of disparate impact, which is often presented as a powerful tool in the fight against racism and sexism. Yet, it is fundamentally a statistical novelty that cannot definitively prove or disprove the presence of racism in any given situation. Instead of serving as a precise measure of discrimination, it functions more like a statistical novelty—often creating faux insights into outcomes but failing to clarify the underlying causes.

Enough of this bullshit. Vote competence over color, sex, and intersectionality.
