TIKTOK: DOES OUR ENEMY HAVE FIRST AMENDMENT FREE SPEECH PROTECTIONS?
Must the United States empower an enemy state operation, like Communist China’s TikTok, to operate a social media platform that can steal data, create dossiers, and propagandize Americans?

What to make of American billionaires and hedge funds who are buying politicians to support an enemy information operation?
Republican billionaire with $33B TikTok stake ‘bullies’ lawmakers to stop bill forcing Chinese ByteDance sale A billionaire megadonor is “bullying” members of Congress by threatening to stop funding them if they back a bill to order TikTok’s Chinese parent to sell the app, The Post has learned. Hedge fund manager Jeff Yass is personally calling Republican members of the House to try to halt legislation which would force ByteDance to divest itself of the app, putting it in US hands instead. His fund has a $33 billion stake in the Chinese company. The bill, known as the Protecting Americans From Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act, was being marked up Thursday. It would force ByteDance to either sell TikTok to an American company in 6 months or be banned entirely. It was jointly drawn up by Rep. Mike Gallagher, the chair of the House select committee on the Chinese Communist Party, and the Democratic ranking member, Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi. Yass is a Republican megadonor who has funneled $130 million since 2020 into PACs and a right-of-center think tank, The Club for Growth, which then funnels money to libertarian and GOP lawmakers such as Senators Ted Cruz (Texas) and Rick Scott (Fla.) and Rep. Jim Banks (Ind.) A spokesman for Yass denied that he was making calls to Republican members of Congress and said, “Jeff learned about this proposed bill yesterday [Tuesday] and has not spoken with anyone about it. Any suggestion otherwise is categorically false.” But multiple sources confirmed the calls to The Post. <Source> |
Bottom line…
There should be no doubt in anyone's mind that TikTok is a Communist Chinese intelligence gathering operation and a viral social media engagement sickness plaguing youngsters. While the Chinese version of TikTok is about learning math and other subjects, the American version is about sexual dysfunction and encouraging bizarre sexual behavior in children.
The fact that Donald Trump appears pro-TikTok has everything to do with a major political contributor and less to do with a moral issue.
America is being destroyed from within, both by corrupt politicians selling influence to our enemies, like President Joe Biden or by wealthy investors, including corporations, who see only profits and not political and military risks to our nation.
In an era where global tensions simmer, and cyber warfare looms large, the peril of selling access to American infrastructure to foreign enemies cannot be overstated. Such actions open the floodgates to a host of security threats, endangering not just the integrity of a nation’s systems but also the privacy and safety of its citizens. By granting access to critical infrastructure—communication networks, power grids, or transportation systems—to hostile entities, governments essentially lay the groundwork for potential sabotage, espionage, and chaos.
The ramifications of this reckless trade extend far beyond immediate financial gains. It compromises the very foundation of national security, leaving vulnerabilities that can be exploited with devastating consequences.
Cyberattacks orchestrated by foreign adversaries can cripple essential services, disrupt daily life, and sow fear and uncertainty among the populace, especially young children and adults.
Moreover, the sale of infrastructure access undermines trust in government institutions and erodes confidence in safeguarding the public interest. Former President Clinton facilitated the sale of missile guidance technology to Iran. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton facilitated the sale of U.S. uranium reserves to Russia. Governors have facilitated the sale of farmland and strategically positioned properties to foreign hostile powers.
Is our currently corrupt government, headed by an unregistered foreign agent such as Joe Biden, willing to address these dangers and exercise utmost caution and vigilance in safeguarding its critical infrastructure?
Robust cybersecurity measures, stringent regulations, and international cooperation are essential to thwarting the nefarious designs of those who seek to exploit vulnerabilities for their own gain. Only by prioritizing the security and resilience of our infrastructure can we hope to navigate the treacherous waters of the digital age and protect the foundations of our societies.
We are so screwed if we allow the progressive communist democrats and the equally culpable establishment republicans to retain power.
A reminder: Donald Trump tried in 2020 to force ByteDance to divest TikTok, but his executive order was blocked in court by the progressive communist democrats, partly on the grounds that the President lacked clear authority from Congress. After Donald Trump left office , new president Joe Biden signed an executive order revoking the Trump Administration's ban on TikTok<Source>
We need Donald Trump.
