DAILY RANTS: WE ARE SO SCREWED
There are so many things going wrong it’s hard to pick a starting point…
GRUESOME NEWSOM AND CALIFORNIA’S PURE COMMUNISM PLAY…
“From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.” ~ Karl Marx’s reference to wealth redistribution and free access to state-controlled distribution of goods, capital, and services.
California braces for new electric plan: Make more, pay more
California Public Utilities Commission has until July 1 to impose new electric rate structureHow to go green without going broke? That's the latest challenge in the alternative energy capital of California, where Democrats propose taxing the rich to make energy more equitable and affordable.
To do so, lawmakers mandated utilities statewide begin billing ratepayers based not on how much electricity they use, but on how much money they make.
Households earning $28,000-$69,000 would be charged an extra $20 to $34 per month. Those earning $69,000-$180,000 would pay $51 to $73 per month, and those earning more than $180,000 would pay a $85-to-$128 monthly surcharge.
That's a lot considering California’s electricity rates are already among the highest in the nation. People living in California have been paying 32 cents per kilowatt-hour compared to the national average of 18 cents, according to Energy Sage, which has monitored energy prices nationwide. It claimed California residents have been paying $273 per month on average for electricity, or $3,276 per year. <Source>
Are you willing to turn over your income tax return just to pay your electric bill?
REPUBLICAN SUICIDE?
The primary difference between the two nominal parties is that there are no Republicans in the Democrat Party, while there are Democrats in the Republican Party. Secondarily, the Democrats operate in lockstep with groupthink to advance their agenda, rewarding their friends and punishing their enemies. In contrast, the GOP members go their merry way without fear of party consequences.
So one might ask, why are the Republicans so soft on supporting and defending the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, especially when it is apparent that the radical progressive communist democrats are attempting to erase our Constitution and destroy our capitalist system?
Indeed, some on the GOP must have known that one of the most potent driving forces behind the illegitimate January 6 House Committee was RINO (Republican In Name Only) Representative Liz Cheney.
It now appears that Committee Chair, Representative Bennie Thompson (D-MS), left much of the day-to-day operations of the Committee to illegitimately appointed Vice Chair Liz Cheney (R-WY), whose visceral hatred of Donald Trump subverted any legitimate inquiry into the events surrounding the January 6 Capitol riot and incursion.
According to Representative Barry Loudermilk (R-GA), the chairman of the House Administration Oversight Subcommittee, he is considering potential criminal referrals for obstruction of justice and ethics violations at the end of his investigation into the destruction of investigatory documents that occurred before the Committee majority handover to the Republicans. Why the GOP did not immediately seek to contain Representatives Cheney and Kinzinger (R-IL) when they were illegitimately appointed to the Committee by House Speaker Pelosi without the consent of the GOP speaks to traditional GOP fecklessness. Something that should worry every American--and every constitutional conservative who votes Republican.
WHEN GOP CONSERVATISM IS CORRUPTED
Today, we have a House roll call vote to pass H.R.7521, “Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act,” which was introduced “to protect the national security of the United States from the threat posed by foreign adversary-controlled applications, such as TikTok and any successor application or service and any other application or service developed or provided by ByteDance Ltd. or an entity under the control of ByteDance Ltd.”
The Communist Chinese are mounting an unprecedented social media campaign, along with an American billionaire with a personal stake of over $20 billion attempting to purchase support for the Chinese Communists through strategic donations to politicians.
So, who stands with Communist China?
I find it amazing that GOP Representatives, many of whom self-describe as conservatives or libertarians …
Biggs (AZ), Bishop (NC), Davidson (OH), Duarte (CA), Gaetz (FL), Greene (GA), Higgins (LA), Mace (SC), Massie (KY), McClintock (CA), Mooney (WV), Moore (AL), Perry (PA), Schweikert (AZ), and Steube (FL)
…would join with some of the most notorious progressive communist democrats…
Bush, Clyburn, Jackson Lee, Jayapal, Khanna, Lofgren, Meeks, Nadler, Ocasio-Cortez, Pocan, Pressley, and Shakowsky
…to support Communist Chinese control over a significant media propaganda outlet and influencer of Children. Especially when it is not a matter of Constitutional free speech or government intervention but a matter of national safety and security.
How can any American Congress Member reject a provision that attempts to control a foreign hostile power controlling a propaganda outlet in America? This is a divestiture, not a ban!

Bottom line…
We are so screwed.
