ON THE BRINK OF EXPOSURE: ELITES FINALLY ADMIT THE TRUTH

Dr. Evil presents the 2024 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Klaus-schwab

The global elites are scared shitless over a Trump presidency and finally admit the truth…

It is, and was, always about political power. The urgency of global climate change and raging conflicts is no longer as important as stopping Donald Trump from accessing the levers of power that would reveal the traitorous and criminal behavior of the elites.

According to European Commission Chief Ursula von der Leyen,  speaking at the annual Davos World Economic Forum, “For the global business community, the top concern for the next two years is not conflict or climate; it is disinformation and misinformation, followed closely by polarization within our societies.”

President Ursula von der Leyen: Excellencies, ladies and gentlemen, dear Klaus, your annual Global Risk report makes for a stunning and sobering read. For the global business community, the top concern for the next two years is not conflict or climate, it is disinformation and misinformation, followed closely by polarization within our societies. These risks are serious because they limit our ability to tackle the big global challenges we are facing.

[OCS: Of course, the elites fear disinformation and misinformation, which they subjectively define as anything that falsifies, contradicts or places their crafted narratives or credibility in doubt or reveals instances of collusion, criminality, and the plundering of state treasuries by elite actors.]

Changes in our climate and our geopolitical climate, shifts in our demography and in our technology. Spiraling regional conflicts and intensified geopolitical competition, and their impacts on supply chains. The sobering reality is that we are once again competing more intensely across countries than we have in several decades. And this makes takes the theme of this year's Davos meeting even more relevant. Rebuilding trust. This is not a time for conflicts or polarization. This is a time to build trust.

[OCS: There is no doubt that a significant portion of the world population has lost trust in our elites, so-called experts, and government institutions as the objective truth leaks out over the internet. Even with the censorship and the de-platforming of dissidents, the truth is emerging for all to see. No wonder the elites are calling for closer partnerships formed between governments and private corporations sector to curb the free flow of information.]

It has never been more important for the public and private sector to create new connective tissue, because none of these challenges respects borders, they each require collaboration to manage risks and to forge a path forward. And this is what I want to talk today about.

[OCS: Collaboration? I say collusion-- to allow the incumbent elites to keep their freedom, fortunes, and continue to protect against those interlopers who would interfere with their continuing plundering of society.]

While governments hold many of the levers to deal with the great challenges of our time, business have the innovation, the technology, the talents to deliver the solutions we need to fight threats like climate change or industrial-scale disinformation.

[OCS: This is soft fascism, where the government controls the means of production, through incentives which promote or punish the captive corporate participants. Though the use of legislation, tax incentives, government contracts, grants, and subsidies, governments are using the taxpayer’s funds to purchase or coerce political power which is directed at citizens.]

And this is more important than ever as we start 2024, the biggest electoral year in history. Democracies across the world will head to the polls and half of the global population will be affected. This includes over 450 million people in the European Union, a union of 27 democracies, where all of us have the right to speak our mind, to be ourselves, even if we are different from the majority. In a democracy, it is the people with their choices and behaviors who pick winners and losers in the economic arena. Companies are free to compete. Change-makers are free to innovate. Merit determines economic success, and our rules are built to ensure this. To protect intellectual property, to protect the safety of industrial data, to protect the savings of people and companies and Europe stands up for global trade based on fair and open markets.

[OCS: This is total bullshit! Global trade is not based on fair and open markets, but government incentives and tariff policy. Individuals have little choice if the range of what they can select is limited by government fiat. Corresponding to the voter’s being allowed to choose between the political party’s pre-selected and promoted choices.]

Of course, like in all democracies, our freedom comes with risks. There will always be those who try to exploit our openness, both from inside and out. There will always be attempts to put us off track. For example, with disinformation and misinformation.

[OCS: I can think of nothing more dangerous than the corrupt, radical, progressive communist democrats who have warped our Constitution and Judiciary to impose and enforce their tyrannical policies. And of the two, the threat arising from the inside is infinitely more deadly and dangerous than the threat from the outside. And I agree that disinformation and misinformation are problematical, especially when the biggest source of disinformation and misinformation is the government and its propagandists in the legacy media and on social media platforms.]

Senators consider giving cyber investigators extraordinary new authority to fight hackers

The next stage of the Biden administration’s collaboration with cyber firms could involve giving certain tech executives special investigatory powers, depending on congressional action.

The Biden administration wants Congress to make a federal board of cyber investigators permanent, but many questions linger about what authority to give the investigators — some of whom work full-time in the private sector.

President Biden created the Cyber Safety Review Board to investigate devastating hacks via a 2021 executive order.

Mr. Biden has asked Congress to make the board an enduring fixture of government beyond individual cyberattacks and the Department of Homeland Security wants the board members to have subpoena power, according to Sen. Maggie Hassan, New Hampshire Democrat.

The 15-person board’s membership includes executives from businesses such as Google and Palo Alto Networks. Other tech companies have concerns that businesses’ participation on the board can create an unfair competitive advantage for board members, according to the Information Technology Industry Council’s John Miller.

“If the CSRB is going to continue to have private sector members on its board, even if you insulate them from the decision-making process as to whether to issue a subpoena, it does, at the very least, create some apparent conflicts of interest when you have members of the private sector subpoenaing other members of the private sector who might be competitors,” he said at a committee hearing.

Mr. Miller told senators on Wednesday that giving the board new authority would disrupt tech companies’ collaborative partnerships with federal cyber officials and create adversarial relationships with those overseeing the investigators.

For the board’s ability to investigate large, complex incidents where there is profit motive to protect, potentially, some of that information at play, and this committee and others have seen the challenge in investigating complex issues within the technology industry, the subpoena can be a basic and useful mechanism,” Mr. Herr said.

This is a stunningly bad idea since most of the private firm's security personnel are former government employees with loyalty to their former intelligence and law enforcement agencies. This is potentially worse than FISA and its secret investigations of individuals.

Bottom line…

Behold the danger of the transnational globalist elites.

Follow their prescriptions for mitigating the problems they have caused and get royally screwed.
