Take almost any topic and examine the progressive communist democrat policies that created or exacerbated the problem.

What happened to instinct, historical precedent, and commonsense that may have prevented adverse outcomes?
Why are people ignoring the insanity of doing the same thing and expecting something different – doubling, tripling, or quadrupling down on stupid? Pumping additional funds into a manifestly corrupt system to be siphoned off before they even reached their intended recipients.
Is muscle memory, ignorance, or wishful thinking driving citizens to make poor political choices? Or is their estrangement from religion or a cause outside of themselves that motivates their need for belonging, even if the result is self-harm?
Are they acting upon limited information or information manipulated by the progressive communist democrats and their media propagandists who censor information adverse to their agenda or cancel dissident voices from the outlets they control?
Do they have strong emotions? Susceptible to social and peer pressure? Do they manifest cognitive biases such as believing that which confirms their present opinions, makes them comfortable, and immune from the uneasy feeling of cognitive dissonance?
Are they protecting their self-esteem and refusing to admit their previous knowledge, attitudes, opinions, and behaviors are suspect or manifestly wrong?
Do they not understand the consequences of their actions, refusing to believe in aggregating and cascading events, like an avalanche, after it gains mass and momentum?
Or does greed override humanity?
Or are they just lazy, believing tomorrow will be much the same as today?
Whatever the reason, most people respond to pain and act only when the pain becomes intolerable.
Have we reached that point, or will it take a cataclysmic event, like a World War, to reset their behavior?

City Of Chicago Files Suit Against Automakers Kia And Hyundai
Mayor Brandon Johnson announced today that the City has filed a civil lawsuit against Kia America, Inc., Kia Corporation, Hyundai Motor America, and Hyundai Motor Company for their failure to include industry-standard engine immobilizers in multiple models of their vehicles, resulting in a steep rise in vehicle thefts, reckless driving, property damage, and a wide array of related violent crimes in Chicago.
The complaint, which was filed in the Circuit Court of Cook County, alleges that Kia and Hyundai failed to equip their U.S. cars, sold between 2011 and 2022, with vital anti-theft technology, which almost all other car manufacturers made a standard feature over a decade ago and which Kia and Hyundai include in their vehicles sold outside of the country. The Complaint alleges that Kia and Hyundai deceptively assured consumers that these vehicles possessed “advanced” safety features, despite knowing about this critical defect and its consequences.
[OCS: I was unaware of any legal requirement to build vehicle security features into every model. I even remember when I had to install my own alarm system -- coincidently made by Representative Daryl Issa's company and featured Issa's voice instructing would-be thieves to "stand back!" Safety features are not synonymous with security features.]
“The impact of car theft on Chicago residents can be deeply destabilizing, particularly for low- to middle-income workers who have fewer options for getting to work and taking care of their families,” said Mayor Brandon Johnson. “The failure of Kia and Hyundai to install basic auto-theft prevention technology in these models is sheer negligence, and as a result, a citywide and nationwide crime spree around automobile theft has been unfolding right before our eyes.”
[OCS: They don't say that Chicago's poor and drug-addled residents are preying on their neighbors in a city where criminals are treated as victims rather than perpetrators. Rather than cracking down on auto theft or going after those chop shops selling parts or loading the cars onto containers for export, the city is turning a blind eye to crime, much of which appears to be organized.]
Since videos posted on social media exposed this defect, thefts of Kia and Hyundai vehicles in Chicago surged from about 500 in the first half of 2022 to more than 8,350 during the second half of the year. Thefts of Kia and Hyundai vehicles continue to comprise more than half of all vehicles stolen in Chicago in 2023.
[OCS: Is there any surprise that a thief will target a theft that provides the least risk and resistance? So, what's the city's excuse for the remainder of non-Kia and Hyundai car thefts?]
Because these vehicles are entry-level models, Kia’s and Hyundai’s failure to include engine immobilizers disproportionately impacts low-income Chicago residents. Moreover, offenders have used stolen Kia and Hyundai vehicles to commit other crimes, including reckless driving, armed robbery, and murder.

Kia and Hyundai have failed to remedy their misconduct, refusing to provide sufficient steering wheel locks requested by the City and even taking advantage of the crisis by charging consumers for security kits. <Source: City of Chicago>
[OCS: In the automotive world, you get what you pay for. Is a vehicle manufacturer now being required to upgrade features in their low-end vehicles to features found in their higher-priced vehicles? If this is such a significant issue, where is the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) that sets "federal vehicle regulations specifying design, construction, performance, and durability requirements for motor vehicles and regulated automobile safety-related components, systems, and design features?"
Strong locks do not deter determined criminals. There are always workarounds, or thieves would not steal high-end Mercedes and Cadillacs. Of course, thieves prefer popular cars that are easily stolen or whose parts may be worth more than what they could get for the entire vehicle.]
Bottom line…
The progressive communist democrats have created a system that favors their agenda, using fear and free incentives to create the economic and societal volatility from which they profit. But why is the American citizen buying into such a corrupt system without pushback?

Will things change?
Or is what we need a disruptor – not a politically correct establishment representative like John McCain, Mitt Romney, or Lindsey Graham – politicians willing to jump the aisle to gain the approval of the progressive communist democrats and their media propagandists? At the same time, acting as useful idiot shills for anti-American forces.
I prefer a resolute, well-reasoned, and experienced candidate like Ron DeSantis. Still, at this point, we need a cunning, vengeful ass-kicker who has withstood the onslaught of the progressive communist democrats for years and remains standing. Donald J. Trump in 2024 may give us our last chance to save the nation from communism.
