We have now witnessed how the progressive communist democrats have advanced their evil agenda of destroying the nuclear family, erasing any sense of morality offered by traditional Judeo-Christian values, promoting perversions, altering history, and abasing enduring cultural icons.

Suppressing the traditional masculinity which built our present society by claiming men can become women, feminizing boys, and destroying women’s sports with transgender competitions which reward men who pretend to be women.

Traditional male heroes like Indiana Jones, James Bond, and others are being re-imagined and reimaged by those who want to set reality aside and live in the land of self-licking lollipops and unicorns with rainbow farts.

Lord’s Prayer opening may be ‘problematic’, says archbishop
Archbishop of York tells General Synod that ‘Our Father’ has patriarchal connotations

The archbishop of York has suggested that the opening words of the Lord’s Prayer, recited by Christians all over the world for 2,000 years, may be “problematic” because of their patriarchal association.

In his opening address to a meeting of the Church of England’s ruling body, the General Synod, Stephen Cottrell dwelt on the words “Our Father”, the start of the prayer based on Matthew 6:9–13 and Luke 11:2–4 in the New Testament.

“I know the word ‘father’ is problematic for those whose experience of earthly fathers has been destructive and abusive, and for all of us who have labored rather too much from an oppressively patriarchal grip on life,” he said.

His comment – a brief aside in a speech that focused on the need for unity – will divide members of the C of E, a body whose differences on issues of sexuality, identity, and equality have been highly visible for years.

After Cottrell’s speech, Canon Dr. Chris Sugden, chair of the conservative Anglican Mainstream group, pointed out that in the Bible Jesus urged people to pray to “our father”.

He said: “Is the archbishop of York saying Jesus was wrong, or that Jesus was not pastorally aware? It seems to be emblematic of the approach of some church leaders to take their cues from culture rather than scripture.” <Source>

I haven't watched over-the-air or cable television for years. I donated my TiVo to charity. I haven’t held a newspaper or magazine for years, except for my local throwaway newspaper with zero national coverage. My favorite magazine, Scientific American, has become Un-Scientific American and incapable of telling the difference between reality and the progressive agenda, which destroyed its credibility.

And now Disney and others have destroyed the entertainment media. It’s back to books powered by my own imagination.

We are so screwed by highly-paid executives who will do anything to keep their cushy positions – even surrender their companies to the progressive communist democrats.

As for Indy, imagine trying to replace Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen) with Amy Schumer or Lena Dunham, Unthinkable. There are four Indy movies, the fifth is corporatized masturbation, not moviemaking. Or James Bond with Jane Bondage?

REWRITING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM AS A PROTEST SONG

For most Americans who are proud of our exceptional nation, our national anthem, The Star-Spangled Banner, is intended to be a unifying symbol of national pride and patriotism.

Unfortunately, a cohort of black activists claims that the anthem does not resonate with everyone in the same way and that we should consider that disrespecting the anthem may stem from a desire to challenge the status quo and highlight the need for inclusivity in our national narratives.

Pretty much the same racial activists and agitators who dare not mention their preferred party, the progressive communist democrats, were at the root of slavery, secession, segregation, the fight against civil rights, Jim Crow, and the KKK.

The very same racial activists and agitators who dare not mention that their people, unlike recent black immigrants, have squandered favored opportunities and billions of dollars and yet remain a cohort of victims.

The same racists who cannot explain the rampant criminality in their decaying neighborhoods, which they refuse to repair while waiting for government action. Of course, we are not speaking of the elderly or the infirm, but the young able-body youth who feign crying out in protest when they burn down their own neighborhoods or loot their own stores.

Therefore, I call bullshit on these ignorant, ill-informed black progressive communist democrats as they continue stoking racial division to feather their own nests.

R&B singer cuts up National Anthem live on stage with anti-American lyrics: 'Blood built this land'

The new rendition of the National Anthem by Jill Scott sang 'Oh say can you see, by the blood in the streets'

R&B singer and actor Jill Scott blasted America by changing the words of the National Anthem into claiming it is an oppressor state during a live performance on stage.

Jill Scott was performing on the second day of the Essence Festival on the perceived systemic racism in America, saying the country is "not the land of the free."

Essence, a lifestyle magazine that hosts the festival, commented, "Everyone please rise for the only National Anthem we will be recognizing from this day forward. Jill Scott, we thank you!"

The lyrics said:

“Oh say can you see by the blood in the streets

That this place doesn’t smile on you colored child

Whose blood built this land with sweat and their hands

But you’ll die in this place and your memory erased

Oh say, does this truth hold any weight

This is not the land of the free, but the home of the slaves!"

Bottom line…

According to researchers, U.S. taxpayers have spent over $22 trillion on anti-poverty programs, much of which the politically-connected special interests siphoned off, with a large chunk invested in keeping the black vote for democrats.

The government was more vested in doing things for the blacks, such as cleaning up their neighborhoods, than teaching them to keep those neighborhoods clean for themselves. Thus, creating a dark, decaying, dingy, and depressing environment that sapped the hope and ambitions of all residents. Funny how many crapholes have state-of-the-art electronics.

Don’t tell me that disrespecting the national anthem, when done constructively, can initiate a national dialogue about the core principles and values our nation holds dear and open an opportunity for diverse perspectives to be heard and considered so we can gain a deeper understanding of the challenges our country faces and find common ground on how to address them.

That is pure bullshit: There is no discussion necessary about American core values: freedom, liberty, justice, and the rule of law.

If any discussion is to be furthered, it should be within the black community.

  • Black leaders promoting racial division for profit: Why their leadership sold out to the progressive communist democrats in return for “walking around money” and crumbs from the Democrat's table?

  • Higher levels of violence and crime: Why do they call for defunding the police, excusing black hooliganism in schools and the streets, and refusing to aid law enforcement, even confidentially, to make their neighborhoods safer?

  • Breakdown of traditional family structures: Why do they tolerate rampant promiscuity and allow black men to shirk their parental responsibilities?

  • Disparities in educational outcomes: Why they don’t riot over abysmal school systems that obstruct learning and social advancement?

It’s time for blacks to hold the progressive communist democrats accountable for their troubles, most of which are of their own making.

Time to consider realism, not racism.

WHY DO THE PROGRESSIVE COMMUNIST DEMOCRATS NEVER MENTION LIBERTY AND FREEDOM?

After listening to several progressive communist democrats use the celebration of our independence as an occasion to characterize America as being fundamentally racist, I began to wonder why they celebrate the day at all. 

One particularly offensive comment suggested that it was widespread knowledge in the black community that anyone who flew an American flag was likely to be racist.

Psd-onenationLiberty and freedom are two inseparable and intertwined fundamental principles that have shaped the course of our nation, representing the core values of individuals and our country as a whole.

Americans understand liberty as being free from oppressive restrictions, where individuals possess the autonomy to exercise their rights, make choices, and pursue their goals, relatively unmolested by governmental authority. On the other hand, freedom encompasses the broader idea of living in a country that upholds individual liberties, allowing for self-expression, equal opportunities, and the absence of undue constraints by a repressive authority.

Without liberty, freedom cannot thrive…

Freedom without the foundation of liberty can devolve into anarchical chaos, the tyranny of the majority, or, even worse, the tyranny of a small but vocal minority. Both liberty and freedom are necessary to strike a balance that respects individual rights while fostering a just and effective government.

Nothing to do with identity politics, especially social status, race, and gender…

Individual liberty encompasses your inalienable rights, the rights and freedoms that every individual possesses inherently, without government grants and irrespective of external factors such as social status, race, or gender, and including freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, freedom of association, and the right to personal privacy. Individual liberty empowers people to voice their opinions, explore their identities, and engage in civil discourse without government interference, fostering creativity, innovation, and societal progress.

Not absolutes…

While liberty and freedom are essential for human growth, they are not absolutes, as they must be tempered by a sense of individual and civic responsibility and respecting the rights of others. Freedom does not grant the government a license to harm or infringe upon fellow citizens' freedoms to manage preferred political outcomes. Upholding the implied social contract of freedom requires recognizing that liberty and freedom come with the responsibility to uphold the rule of law to preserve the rights and well-being of others, promoting a harmonious coexistence in a diverse nation of 335 million individuals, many with competing interests.

What we hear from the progressive communist democrats…

It’s all about identity politics, the increasing division of Americas by creating victims by highlighting and prioritizing their genuine or imagined grievances along their shared identities, such as race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or ethnicity.

Promising to redress these grievances in return for political power. Promising entitlements or wealth distribution using policies and programs based on universal healthcare, affordable education, climate change mitigation, criminal justice reform, LGBTQ+ rights, and comprehensive immigration reform. They promise that the end result of these policies will foster a more just and inclusive society, promoting equal opportunity and reducing systemic disparities, mostly ignoring the realities of human nature where the strong dominate the weak. It's a promise the know they can't keep.

We don’t hear the truth: it’s about the mutable forces: power, money, and control.

Money, power, and control are three mutable forces that have long played significant roles in shaping progressive communist democrat behavior.

Each of the three forces carries its own dynamics and implications, and the complexity of their interplay often has far-reaching political consequences.

As we have seen with the bribery scandal engulfing the Biden crime family, which profited greatly off access and the ability to affect outcomes…

  • Control: The foundational authority to govern, direct, or regulate individuals, systems, or institutions, encompassing the establishment and regulation of rules, laws, and hierarchies that guide individual, commercial, and governmental actions.

  • Power: The ability to influence outcomes, make favorable decisions, and shape desired results. Power can be obtained through various means, such as wealth, position, knowledge, or charisma.

  • Money: The medium of exchange that facilitates economic transactions. It represents a measure of value and serves as a tool for acquiring substantial influence over individuals, organizations, and institutions.

As we can see, any single element can be transmuted into another desired element. In Biden's case, he sold America's liberty and freedom by selling political power to the Communist Chinese for money. In the case of the Communist Chinese, it was using money to purchase political power and control over American policies.

Bottom line…

If liberty and freedom are the lifeblood of our great nation, fostering individual growth, societal development, and the pursuit of happiness, and empowering individuals to express their unique voices and contribute to the diverse fabric of our nation, why are the progressive communist democrats – and a majority of the GOP silent?

As representatives of government, could their personal interests transcend the needs of our nation and their respective constituencies?

If embracing liberty and freedom means individuals promoting the dignity and rights of fellow individuals, championing equality and justice, and creating an environment where every person has the opportunity to flourish. why are today’s progressive communist democrats attempting to consolidate and perpetuate their political power, the citizens be damned?

We are so screwed if we do not celebrate and safeguard the timeless principles of liberty and freedom, for they are the foundation upon which our free and thriving nation was built.

JULY 5TH: RETHINKING OUR NATIONAL STRATEGIC INTERESTS

Another day of politicians using taxpayer funds to pay for things that do not benefit ordinary Americans.

While celebrating the ideals of democracy on Independence Day, it is essential to critically evaluate the state of our democracy in terms of recent developments, challenges, and areas for improvement.

As I enjoyed my Fourth of July, I thought about the thousands of innocent Ukrainian and Russians killed, maimed, and displaced by a war that appears to be started by neocons in the U.S. Government, primarily to line the pockets of politicians and the military-industrial complex. Not because I care so much about Ukraine as that is a European problem, but because American citizens are being bled dry by a conflict that appears to have no end.

Those damn neocons…

"Neocon" refers to neoconservatism, a political ideology associated with a particular approach to foreign policy and military intervention.

  1. Overemphasis on military intervention: One of the main characteristics of neocons is its perceived overreliance on military force as a tool for advancing American interests leading to costly and prolonged engagement in conflicts that may not necessarily serve the long-term interests of the United States. I am still waiting for someone to tell me how the U.S. benefitted in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and elsewhere where we squandered billions of dollars, the lives of American soldiers, and megatons of military weaponry and ammunition.

  2. Underestimation of consequences: The neocons often underestimate the potential consequences of military interventions, overlooking their short-term goals and regime change plans resulting in the rise of previously unknown extremist groups and creating power vacuums that our enemies exploit, posing a real threat to national security.

  3. Financial and human costs: There is no doubt that neocon strategies divert resources away from domestic priorities, such as healthcare, education, and infrastructure, and result in a strain on the economy, not to mention the loss of American lives and the long-term impact on wounded and returning veterans, which is often tragic.

  4. Damage to international reputation: Neocon strategies, particularly those involving unilateral military action, have damaged the government's credibility, both at home and abroad, as they lie about reasons and outcomes. I think the Ukraine conflict was primarily a needlessly aggressive and unilateral action that targeted Russia – pushing U.S. and NATO weaponry closer to Russia’s borders. Similar to the insult of the Russians placing nuclear arms in Cuba or the Chinese building an electronic warfare center 90 miles from Florida.

  5. Shift from diplomacy: Neocon strategies appear to prioritize military action over diplomacy and negotiation, deliberately limiting opportunities for peaceful resolutions and neglecting the importance of building strong alliances and diplomatic channels to address international issues effectively.

Trump as a neocon target…

Notwithstanding his brash, reckless, narcissistic, and unconventional communication style, as well as his controversial statements and boorish behavior, political opinions and attitudes toward Trump, unlike any other political figure, faces unprecedented neocon opposition in the government s who realizes that he is pragmatic and views things in concrete dollars-and-cents options. Primarily, Trump views Ukraine as a European problem and an unnecessary provocation to Russia. Likewise, Trump is unwilling to compromise U.S. interests to China because he is not a direct or indirect recipient of Chinese largess, as are most members of Congress and industry.

DeSantis appears to be compromised by his large donors, considering the speed at which he disavowed his statements on Ukraine.

Fox News Calls Out Ron DeSantis for 'Flip-Flop' on Ukraine

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was called out on Sunday during a discussion on Fox News when one contributor accused him of flip-flopping regarding his recent comments about the war in Ukraine.

DeSantis, who is widely expected to announce a 2024 presidential run later this spring, received criticism last week for comments he made about Ukraine during an interview with Tucker Carlson, in which he called the Eastern European country's conflict with Russia "a territorial dispute" that the United States should avoid "becoming further entangled in." The reaction against those remarks was considerable and spanned both sides of the political aisle.

In an interview with Fox Nation host Piers Morgan on Thursday, DeSantis claimed that his earlier comments had been "mischaracterized." He added that by "a territorial dispute," he meant to describe the conflict as it is currently playing out in Eastern Ukraine. Additionally, he also said that Russia had no right to instigate the conflict with its invasion of Ukraine last February. <Source>

Bottom line…

The Fourth of July serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by previous generations to secure our freedoms. Expressing gratitude for the liberties we enjoy today means we must also recognize the ongoing work required to protect and expand our freedoms from a growingly repressive government of progressive communist democrats.

Preserving democracy and our way of life in the United States is of utmost importance for the stability and progress of the nation – and is unlikely to be rectified without a gross change in leadership and accountability and reconciliation of those who have sold out our country.

When will an American majority rise up and say NO? Tolerance for the intolerable is increasingly unacceptable and unforgivable as it leads down the path to destruction. It has allowed political corruption, increasing criminality, and gross incompetence in government.

SCREWED FOURTH OF JULY -- 2023

Our nation has never faced such an existential crisis as we find under the Obama/Biden administration since the Civil War when the Republicans fought Southern Democrats to abolish slavery.

Look beyond the words, and you will see that communist Critical Race Theory is racist, punishing one race to advantage another. When the communists speak of equity, they deny you the equality of opportunities – to be replaced with re-distributive equality of outcomes.

Look beyond the limited staged outings, and you will see President Biden is cognitively impaired and the perfect puppet for his Obama-era communist puppet-masters.

AFGHANISTAN AFTER ACTION REPORT IS BULLSHIT

I am deeply offended by the unclassified version of the heavily redacted, self-congratulatory “After Action Review on Afghanistan” published by the U.S. Department of State.

By the Biden administration’s own admission, it abandoned over a thousand Americans and thousands of Afghan allies in Afghanistan, where they we trapped behind enemy lines and vulnerable to the murderous Taliban.

While most of our report is focused on “lessons learned” and ways in which the Department could better prepare for such events in the future, we were reminded time and again that the Department’s greatest asset is its people, including an extraordinary group of dedicated and talented professionals who worked tirelessly on the ground in Kabul, in Washington, and at other sites domestically and abroad to evacuate and assist as many people as possible. We salute them and the brave members of our military, 13 of whom lost their lives in this operation. Together, they safely evacuated roughly 125,000 people, including nearly 6,000 private U.S. citizens. Their work deserves our highest praise and gratitude, and it is to them that this report is dedicated.

We end this After Action Review where we began, with praise and admiration for our colleagues throughout the Department. We have made a series of recommendations for ways in which we think the Department could better prepare for future complex crises, but in the final analysis, there is no substitute for the smart, hard-working, dedicated professionals that the Department could count upon in this crisis. We should be proud of what they and their partners in uniform accomplished during this evacuation and what they continue to do to help U.S. citizens and at-risk Afghans in the aftermath of the Taliban takeover.

[OCS: The hasty, ill-timed, and chaotic surrender of Afghanistan, including the rapid collapse of the Afghan government and security forces, lacked proper planning, coordination, and preparation, which resulted in a vacuum of power and the Taliban's swift takeover of critical areas, including taking possession of billions in sophisticated weaponry which they then converted to the reign of terror on the Afghan population, with some of the most sophisticated weaponry sent to China, Russia, and elsewhere for disassembly and reverse engineering.

To praise those who botched the withdrawal and loaded thousands of unvetted Afghans, including terrorists, for import into the United States is an abomination. We will likely be forced to revisit the Taliban to combat future terrorist threats.]

There is little doubt that the Afghan surrender to the Taliban was a political operation run out of the White House.

During the catastrophic Afghanistan withdrawal, it appears that the military ceded operational control to State Department apparatchiks acting on behalf of the White House, with the decision-making process and coordination led by incompetent and ill-prepared government officials, including:

  1. President: Joe Biden was the President of the United States during the withdrawal.
  2. Secretary of State: Antony Blinken played a significant role in overseeing the diplomatic aspects of the withdrawal.
  3. Secretary of Defense: Lloyd Austin was responsible for coordinating the military aspects of the withdrawal.
  4. Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman: General Mark A. Milley provided military advice and recommendations to the President and the Secretary of Defense.

The real lessons of Afghanistan…

Leadership: America needs competent, capable leaders.

Clear Objectives: One of the key factors contributing to America's failure in Afghanistan was the lack of clear and achievable objectives. Over time, the mission shifted from targeting Al-Qaeda to nation-building, leading to a lack of focus and diffusion of resources. Without a well-defined goal, the effort in Afghanistan became increasingly messy and challenging to sustain. It became a piggy bank for private contractors interested in protracted hostilities to keep the funding flowing.

Long-Term Engagement: The protracted military engagement in Afghanistan, with its heavy reliance on conventional warfare, clearly did not produce the desired outcomes, as the military leadership was more interested in relaxing our rules of engagement to favor the enemy to win over hearts and minds of a people who were tribal, had no concept of democracy, and viewed us just another foreign invader of their country.

Corruption and Weak Governance: Despite substantial financial and military support, rampant, systemic corruption and weak governance within the Afghan government undermined efforts to build stable institutions and win the trust of the Afghan people. Nobody could figure out how to establish an effective governance structure that worked with people loyal to their tribes and clans rather than to a national government.

Regional Dynamics: The involvement of neighboring countries, such as Pakistan and Iran, complicated efforts to stabilize the region. The Taliban was a creation of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate, and Iran provided extremely dangerous IEDs with impunity. We took no action against a nuclear-armed Pakistan, even after they hid Osama bin Laden.

No Truth: The American people will never be told the ugly truth and must rely on sanitized, whitewashed reports that protect the guilty from being held accountable by diffusing blame to “the system.” Yes, they may acknowledge mistakes, but nobody is punished. Remember the joint CIA/State Department's gun-running operation in Benghazi, Libya?

Bottom line…

How many Americans will note that the report was released under the media's radar ahead of a long Fourth of July weekend on a Friday night? Or that the 25-page report is a sanitized and prettified mini-production that belies the full ugliness of the actual report with 60 pages of redactions?

It should not be surprising that the report appears to apportion blame to both the Trump Administration and the Biden Administration although the Biden Administration was clearly in charge and almost always refused to implement any Trump plan of action.

Remember the White House summary document released in April that blamed the Trump administration’s decisions for creating the conditions that led to the chaos of the evacuation and did not mention the multiplicity of mistakes in decision-making by incompetent government actors.

Since the election of Barack Obama, the communist-in-chief, no progressive communist democrat can be trusted with the security, safety, and defense of the United States. We are now pumping billions of dollars into a corrupt Ukraine with no clear objective or endpoint. Many of the same people involved in Afghanistan are also engaged in Ukraine – which appears to be another corrupt State Department operation.

We are so screwed.

WAS JANUARY 6 A FALSE FLAG OPERATION?

A sham committee produced more questions than answers about January 6, 2021, events...

According to the Democrats, the events on January 6, 2021, at the United States Capitol were not a false flag operation, a covert operation in which one party stages an event to make it appear that another party is responsible.

While the Democrats claim that there is no credible evidence to support the claim that the events of January 6 were a false flag operation, the actions of the highly partisan "Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol," ignored long-standing rules of the House, was fraught with irregularities, inconsistencies, and outright manipulation of evidence, and never asked pertinent questions of responsible parties charged with the safety and security of the Capitol complex.

Moreover, partisan political agents of our deeply compromised preeminent intelligence and law enforcement agencies, at least in this case, could not be trusted to tell the truth as many had previously perjured themselves before Congress.

Suspicion remains…

While loudly and vehemently rejected as a “conspiracy theory,” we have come to see that similar serious events derided as conspiracy theories by progressive communist democrats and their media propagandists were accurate and, often, worse than thought possible.

"They" confessed to interfering in an election...

Time Magazine, a progressive publication, published a lengthy article titled “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election” on February 4, 2021. In that article, a well-planned, well-executed game plan to oppose the candidacy of Donald Trump is detailed.

There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans. The pact was formalized in a terse, little-noticed joint statement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and AFL-CIO published on Election Day. Both sides would come to see it as a sort of implicit bargain–inspired by the summer’s massive, sometimes destructive racial-justice protests–in which the forces of labor came together with the forces of capital to keep the peace and oppose Trump’s assault on democracy.

The handshake between business and labor was just one component of a vast, cross-partisan campaign to protect the election–an extraordinary shadow effort dedicated not to winning the vote but to ensuring it would be free and fair, credible and uncorrupted.

For more than a year, a loosely organized coalition of operatives scrambled to shore up America’s institutions as they came under simultaneous attack from a remorseless pandemic and an autocratically inclined President. Though much of this activity took place on the left, it was separate from the Biden campaign and crossed ideological lines, with crucial contributions by nonpartisan and conservative actors. The scenario the shadow campaigners were desperate to stop was not a Trump victory. It was an election so calamitous that no result could be discerned at all, a failure of the central act of democratic self-governance that has been a hallmark of America since its founding.

Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears. They executed national public awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction. After Election Day, they monitored every pressure point to ensure that Trump could not overturn the result. “The untold story of the election is the thousands of people of both parties who accomplished the triumph of American democracy at its very foundation,” says Norm Eisen, a prominent lawyer and former Obama Administration official who recruited Republicans and Democrats to the board of the Voter Protection Program.

War gaming a disputed election on January 6?

Well before the following electoral analysis was published in the Winter of 2019, Professor Edward B. Foley, a recognized and well-regarded constitutional law scholar, war-gamed the 2020 election and scenarios that could affect the outcome. In his theoretical analysis, he used the example of a matchup between Democrat Elizabeth Warren and Republican Donald Trump. This prescient analysis was circulated among the Democrat elites and other interest parties.

Here are the highlights which, unlike a conspiracy theory, posit the desperate need for the Democrats to disrupt the official Congressional proceedings on January 6, 2021, before Vice President Mike Pence acting as the President of the Senate can accept electoral votes cast by any alternate state of electors.

I. FROM NOVEMBER 3, 2020 THROUGH DECEMBER 14, 2020

A. What Could Happen

Despite protests and counter-protests, and lawsuits and counter-lawsuits—each side accusing the other of attempting to steal an election that is rightfully theirs—Pennsylvania’s election officials certify the result as a miniscule 2,500-vote victory for Warren, based on the strength of the “overtime” votes counted during the canvassing process. This official certification, of course, is not technically that Warren herself has won Pennsylvania’s electoral votes, but rather than the slate of presidential electors pledged to Warren have won, based on the popular vote, the right to serve as the state’s electors. Pennsylvania’s governor so certifies pursuant to state law. Also, as required by Congress, the governor sends this “certificate of ascertainment” to the National Archives, thereby notifying the federal government who has been officially appointed the state’s electors.16 These electors then meet on the day appointed by Congress (Monday, December 14) and indeed cast their 20 electoral votes for Warren.

These electors then dutifully transmit a certificate of their votes to “the President of the Senate,” as well as sending a copy to the National Archives, both submissions as specified by Congress.

But this is not all that happens in Pennsylvania during this time. At Trump’s urging, the state’s legislature—where Republicans have majorities in both houses—purports to exercise its authority under Article II of the Constitution to appoint the state’s presidential electors directly.

Taking their cue from Trump, both legislative chambers claim that the certified popular vote cannot be trusted because of the blue shift that occurred in overtime.

Therefore, the two chambers claim to have the constitutional right to supersede the popular vote and assert direct authority to appoint the state’s presidential electors, so that this appointment is in line with the popular vote tally as it existed on Election Night, which Trump continues to claim is the “true” outcome.

The state’s Democratic governor refuses to assent to this assertion of authority by the state’s legislature, but the legislature’s two chambers proclaim that the governor’s assent is unnecessary. They cite early historical practices in which state legislatures appointed presidential electors without any involvement of the state’s governor. They argue that like constitutional amendments, and unlike ordinary legislation, the appointment of presidential electors when undertaken directly by a state legislature is not subject to a gubernatorial veto.

Although the governor refuses to certify this direct legislative appointment of presidential electors, the Republican-pledged electors who have been purportedly appointed by the legislature proceed to conduct their own meeting on the day that Congress has specified for the casting of electoral votes (again, Monday, December 14). At this meeting, they cast “their” 20 electoral votes for Trump. They, too, purport to certify these votes by sending a certificate to the President of the Senate and a copy to the National Archives, according to the procedures specified by Congress.

Thus, when Congress meets on January 6, 2021 to count the electoral votes from the states, there are two conflicting certificates of electoral votes from Pennsylvania. One submission, from the Democratic electors and reflecting the governor’s certificate of ascertainment, records Pennsylvania’s 20 electoral votes for Warren. The other, from the Republican electors and reflecting the legislature’s purported direct appointment, records Pennsylvania’s electoral votes for Trump.

And so, the controversy over Pennsylvania has reached Congress.

The legislature may require concurrence of the governor before any such move could be considered a valid rescission of the statute authorizing popular appointment. Even so, if the two houses of the state legislature purport to do this, and if the electors purportedly appointed meet and cast their electoral votes—and, most importantly, if these electors send their electoral votes to the President of the Senate—then the President of the Senate has these electoral votes in hand. That is enough for Congress to consider the votes and potentially accept those votes as the authoritative electoral votes from Pennsylvania.

In any event, this analysis will proceed on the assumption that Mike Pence, as President of the Senate, receives two sets of electoral votes from Pennsylvania: one reflecting the count of the canvass, certified by the governor; and the other reflecting the legislature’s assertion of its authority to directly appoint the state’s electors.

II. FROM JANUARY 6, 2021, THROUGH JANUARY 20, 2021

A. What Could Happen

As January 6, 2021 approaches, the two parties take to cable news and social media to test various arguments as to why their candidate is the winner entitled to be inaugurated as president on January 20.

Some Republicans take the especially aggressive position that Mike Pence, as President of the Senate, has the unilateral authority under the Twelfth Amendment to decide which certificate of electoral votes from Pennsylvania is the authoritative one entitled to be counted in Congress and that he, accordingly, will count the certificate from the electors appointed by the state legislature because the Constitution authorizes the state legislature to choose the method of appointing electors.

These Republicans point to the historical pedigree of this position, observing that Republicans made the same argument during the disputed election of 1876 and that at least some recent law journal scholarship has supported this position. Unembarrassed by the apparent conflict of interest caused by Mike Pence simultaneously being a candidate for reelection and arbiter of the electoral dispute, these Republicans observe that Thomas Jefferson was in essentially the same position during the disputed election of 1800 and yet the Twelfth Amendment left this provision in place when Congress rewrote the procedures for the Electoral College afterwards. While it is true that an incumbent Vice-President might have a direct personal stake in the electoral dispute to be resolved, the Republicans argue, at least the glare of the spotlight is focused on whatever the vice president does in this situation, and everyone will be able to judge whether the vice president acted honorably or dishonorably in resolving the dispute.

So, what we have is …

  1. A well-researched Democrat document war-gaming a likely election scenario featuring: the anticipation of delayed election results, a “blue shift” phenomenon, whereby adjustments in vote tallies during the canvassing of returns tend to advantage Democratic candidates” after the initial vote counts suggested Trump won the election, and a likely electoral scenario that would allow Trump to capture the presidency.

  2. An attempt to challenge irregularities in the ballots, the counting procedures, and discrepancies and anomalies in the counts presented to the public. As a sideshow, we saw fanciful explanations for the "blue shift" and tales of foreign election interference spun by a few outspoken attorneys who appeared to be certifiably crazy.

  3. An attempt to name alternate slates of electors based on state legislatures declaring certification issues in swing states.

  4. A GOP legal memo, the Eastman Memo, was authored by a constitutional scholar and appeared to convey the constitutional authority for Mike Pence to select electors favorable to Donald Trump.

    PRIVILEGED AND CONFIDENTIAL January 6 scenario -- "7 states have transmitted dual slates of electors to the President of the Senate. The 12th Amendment merely provides that “the President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted.” There is very solid legal authority, and historical precedent, for the view that the President of the Senate does the counting, including the resolution of disputed electoral votes (as Adams and Jefferson did while Vice President, regarding their own election as President), and all the Members of Congress can do is watch."

  5. And the glaring necessity for the Democrats to interrupt any debate over alternate slates of electors and to lock out any opposition to already certified and seated electors.

What we don’t know…

Did the Democrats and unnamed external parties, including the leadership of the House and Senate, conspire with members of intelligence or law enforcement agencies to create a false flag event to prevent the presentation of alternate electors and prevent any constitutionally-appropriate debate in both chambers with a final acceptance vote by Congress?

Bottom line…

I do not have the answer. But my gut feeling, based on the prior bad acts of the Democrats, politically-corrupted intelligence and law enforcement agencies, and the media coverups, is that there is an 80/20 chance of a false flag operation involving trained activists and agitators. I am still waiting for a valid explanation of Ray Epps' clear and unambiguous participation in the riot and why he was never charged by the DOJ as were so many who continue to languish in jail, bail denied, and not guilty of any crime. 

This feeling is also enhanced by the actions of the DOJ in prosecuting many innocent individuals, the video of visitors being welcomed into the Capitol and being escorted by the police, the failure to thoroughly investigate the death of Ashley Babbitt, the lies knowingly told about Officer Sicknick and many other unexplained events.

We are not only screwed, but they will likely repeat this in 2024.
