Remarks by President Biden at the Howard University Class of 2023 Commencement Address
But after the election and the re-election of the first Black American President, I had hoped that the fear of violence and hate was significantly losing ground.
[OCS: Before Barack Obama, racial hatred was on the decline. President Obama did everything he could to racialize America further and deepen the divide between the races as he pursued his communist identity politics.]
After being — no longer being Vice President, I became a professor at the University of Pennsylvania for four years. But in 2017, in Charlottesville, Virginia, crazed neo-Nazis with angry faces came out of the fields with — literally with torches, carrying Nazi banners from the woods and the fields chanting the same antisemitic bile heard across Europe in the ‘30s. Something that I never thought I would ever see in America. Accompanied by Klansmen and white supremacists, emerging from dark rooms and remote fields and the anonymity of the Internet, confronting decent Americans of all backgrounds standing in their way, into the bright light of day. And a young woman objecting to their presence was killed.
[OCS: Biden’s professorship was most a non-teaching, no-show position funded by the Chinese Communists. Anti-Semitism is endemic in the Democrat Party, and former President Obama was raised in an anti-Semitic, anti-White, and anti-America environment by known communists.]
And what did you hear? That famous quote. When asked about what happened, that famous quote. “There are very fine people on both sides.” That’s when I knew — and I’m not joking — that’s when I knew I had to stay engaged and get back into public life. (Applause.) No, I — I don’t say it for that reason. I say it for the journey.
[OCS: The quote is deliberately taken out of context and refers to those participants marching for and against the removal of a monument to Confederate General Robert E. Lee. It did not refer to the neo-Nazis who were staging their own protest. The full quote, in context, was…
"You also had some very fine people on both sides," Trump said in 2017. "You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down, of to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name. You had people -- and I'm not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists; they should be condemned totally -- you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists." <Source>
You can almost always tell when Joe Biden is lying through his false teeth as his “tell” is “I’m not joking.”]
And that’s why we know this truth as well: Silence is complicity. (Applause.) It cannot remain silent. We are live through this battle for the soul of the nation. And it is still a battle for the soul of the nation.
[OCS: Silence is not complicity, and Americans are not required or expected to vocalize their opinions on every subject, especially controversial ones. The “soul of the nation” is built around freedom, liberty, and justice for all. All of which have been significantly degraded by the progressive communist democrats and their puppets such as Joe Biden.]
But on the best days, enough of us have the guts and the hearts to st- — to stand up for the best in us. To choose love over hate, unity over disunion, progress over retreat. To stand up against the poison of white supremacy, as I did in my Inaugural Address — to single it out as the most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland is white supremacy. (Applause.)
[OCS: I would sincerely suggest that the most dangerous threat to our homeland is not “white supremacy,” but the Democrat Party seeking to destroy America from within. The Democrats are teaching hate – witness telling children you are either an oppressor or the oppressed based on your skin color – disunity as the Democrats attempt to use identity politics to divide the nation, and the apparent retreat from the progress of the past as the Democrats fight growth and further industrialization.]
And I’m not saying this because I’m at a Black HBCU. I say it wherever I go.
[OCS: This is a lie, as his pre-written teleprompter-driven speeches are designed for his specific audience. Often Biden demonstrates his racist tendencies by claiming, “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”]
To stand up for truth over lies — lies told for power and profit.
[OCS: The Democrat Party is demonstrably the party of disinformation, propaganda, and censorship. They routinely tell lies for political power and profit.]
To confront the ongoing assault to subvert our elections and suppress our right to vote. That assault came just as you cast your first ballots in ‘20 and ‘22. Record turnouts. You delivered historic progress. I made it clear that America — Americans of all backgrounds have an obligation to call out political violence that has been unleashed and emboldened. As was mentioned already, bomb threats to this very university and HBCUs across the country.
[OCS: The democrats have subverted our elections. They have suppressed the GOP vote. They have disenfranchised thousands of voters. The Democrats are the party of political violence. Antifa and the communist front group Black Lives Matter are Democrat shock troops that amazingly escape investigation and prosecution by the Democrat-controlled Administration – even after murder, mayhem, and over two billion dollars' worth of damage to public and private property.]
To put democracy on the ballot. To reject political extremism and reject political violence.
[OCS: Democracy is on the ballot, and the Democrats represent political extremism and violence.]
Protect fundamental rights and freedoms for women to choose and for transgender children to be free. (Applause.)
[OCS: Where was the fundamental "right to choose" for Americans when it came to vaccines with life-altering consequences? Where is the psychological help for those suffering from gender dysphoria rather than promoting chemical castration and genital mutilation? And where is the protection for viable pre-birth Americans just as they are about to be delivered?]
For affordable healthcare and housing. (Applause.)
[OCS: It is Democrat policies, including unrestricted immigration, that has destroyed affordable healthcare and housing. The Democrats despise personal independence and suburban living in favor of Soviet-style high-rise housing clusters and mass transit.]
For the right to raise your family and retire with dignity.
[OCS: The Democrats battle against the nuclear family and are pushing retirement beyond reach with their fiscal policies and profligate spending.]
To stand with leaders of your generation who give voice to the people, demanding action on gun violence only to be expelled from state legislative bodies. (Applause.)
[OCS: The Democrats do not accept your inalienable right to self-defense. They want to disarm a law-abiding public and make them vulnerable to criminals, crazies, and terrorists until they beg for government protection. Guns are not the problem – it’s the lack of crime control in Democrat-governed areas and the lack of mental health facilities. The Democrats overlook victims and treat criminals as the victims of a systemically corrupt society. They release criminals into our communities and refuse to prosecute crime.]
To stand against books being banned and Black history being erased. (Applause.) I’m serious. Think about it.
[OCS: Yes, think about it. Prohibiting pornographic LGBTQ+xyz literature from young children in schools. Teaching an alternate history of the United States from a patently false black perspective.]
To stand up for the best in us.
And today, I come here to Howard to continue the work to redeem the soul of this nation, because it’s here where I see the future. And I’m not — that’s not hyperbole.
[OCS: Biden is lying again. He is not concerned with the soul of this nation. He is concerned with getting off the stage, being rewarded with a chocolate-chip ice cream cone, and being allowed to watch his favorite TV programs.]
We can finally resolve those ongoing questions about who we are as a nation. That puts strength of our diversity at the center of American life. A future that celebrates and learns from history. A future for all Americans. A future I see you leading. And I’m not, again, exaggerating. You are going to be leading it. <Source: White House Briefing Room>
[OCS: The Democrats are erasing history and substituting their own version. And, because children are no longer being taught conventional history in our public schools, they do not know the difference and accept Democrat deceptions.]
