CONGRESSIONAL GESTAPO METASTISIZES OUTSIDE OF WASHINGTON: WHAT ARE THEY DOING PRIOR TO THE 2024 ELECTION?
Can you think of any legitimate reason for the U.S. Capitol Police to maintain regional field offices in San Francisco, California, and Tampa, Florida?
The U.S. Capitol Police is the federal law enforcement agency responsible for protecting the U.S. Capitol Complex, which includes the U.S. Capitol Building, congressional office buildings, and their occupants. Established to ensure the safety and security of Congress members, staff, visitors, and the infrastructure itself, the USCP's primary purpose is to maintain order and enforce federal and local laws within its jurisdiction. The agency operates under the authority of the Capitol Police Board and is subject to congressional oversight, ensuring accountability and adherence to its mission of safeguarding the democratic processes and institutions housed within the Capitol Complex.
While the roles of the House Speaker and the Senate Majority Leader do not include direct operational control over the USCP on a day-to-day basis, their influence was significant in shaping the priorities and policies related to the response to the January 6 riot, including putting politics above protection and declining help from President Trump before the scheduled January 6 rally.
Government buildings outside of Washington, D.C. are protected by the Federal Protective Service, a federal law enforcement agency that provides security and law enforcement services to federally owned and leased buildings.
Outside of those congressional officers who receive statutory or directed full-time protection from the Capitol Police or the U.S. Secret Service, the majority of members coordinate events with local and state police and sometimes use their own personal security.
However, it appears that the duties of the United States Capitol Police were expanded to include “intelligence” (aka spying on the American people) and that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi decided to expand the presence of the United States Capitol Police to include areas outside of Washington, D.C.
After the Attack: The Future of the U.S. Capitol Police It has been six months since rioters attacked the United States Capitol and our brave police officers and law enforcement partners who fought valiantly to protect elected leaders and the democratic process. Throughout the last six months, the United States Capitol Police has been working around the clock with our Congressional stakeholders to support our officers, enhance security around the Capitol Complex, and pivot towards an intelligence-based protective agency. Enhanced Member Protection
[ OCS: The press release was signed by Acting USCP Chief Yogananda Pittman, against whom credible allegations exist about her mishandling of intelligence, failing to respond appropriately during the riot, and committing perjury by lying to Congress about her activities.] |
Why?
Bottom line…
I can understand Nancy Pelosi trying to establish personal protection in the cesspool of crime, drugs, and feces in San Francisco, but other than spying on former President Donald Trump and primary challenger Governor Ron DeSantis, what is the compelling reason for locating anything in Florida?
We are so screwed.
