Q. Sir, (inaudible) with your meeting with Xi tomorrow, sir? And do you — what — how would you define success with your meeting with President Xi?

THE PRESIDENT: To get back on a normal course of corresponding: being able to pick up the phone and talk to one another when there’s a crisis, being able to make sure our militaries still have contact with one another.
We can’t take — as I told you, we’re not trying to decouple from China, but we’re — what we’re trying to do is change the relationship for the better. From my perspective, if in fact the Chinese people are in trouble right now economically — if the average homeowner or — the “homeowner” — if the average citizen in China was able to have a decent-paying job, that benefits them and it benefits all of us. But I’m not going to continue to sustain the support for positions where if you want to invest in China, we have to turn over all our trade secrets.

[OCS: Given three years of Biden’s domestic policies, it sounds to me that Biden may be more interested in the average citizen in China than the average citizen in America.]

Pissing off the long-suffering San Francisco residents and business community who are asking will these same politico’s allow the area to relapse into a cesspool once Xi Jinping’s jet leaves for China—bemoaning the use of their tax dollars to create an acceptable photo-op background.

Even the former San Francisco Mayor and California Governor says the quiet part out loud when he answers his own question.

Can we trust President Biden, so demonstrably vulnerable to Chinese and Ukrainian extortion, to set U.S. policy concerning China and Ukraine?

Will Biden, once again, embarrass America with his gaffes or behavior?

We are so screwed when we cannot be sure that the President of the United States represents America.
