OBAMA RESPONDS TO TERROR WITH MORAL EQUIVALENCE
Why am I not surprised that former President Barack Hussein Obama seemingly condemns terrorism but refuses to take sides in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict?
There is no doubt in my mind that former President Obama, like his spiritual mentor Reverend Jeremiah Wright, is a communist who holds anti-America, anti-Israel, anti-White, and anti-Semitic views.
While rockets rained down on Israel, Obama and his administration continued to advocate for an impossible two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, with, unbelievably, Israel and Palestine living side by side in peace and security.
This is an impossibility given the governing charters of the terrorist groups Hamas and the Palestinian Authority, which demand the annihilation of Israel and the Jewish people.
Obama also expressed concerns about Israeli settlement construction in the “occupied” Palestinian territories, which were built on formerly Jewish land. His worldview was, as a non-interventionist and a peacemaker with the Muslim World, to allow Iran to be a nuclear state and “balance” Israel’s military power in the Middle East.
A flash transcript of a yet-to-be-released podcast on Pod Save America illustrates Obama’s moral equivalence.
If there’s any chance of us being able to act constructively to do something, it will require an admission of complexity and maintaining what on the surface may seem contradictory ideas that, that what Hamas did was horrific and there’s no justification for it. And what is also true is that the occupation and what’s happening to Palestinians is, is unbearable. [OCS: There is no complexity between good and evil, right and wrong. There can be no moral or legal justification for the pre-planned butchery of innocent men, women, and children – especially babies and senior citizens, to make a political point. There is no Jewish occupation in Gaza or the West Bank, both self-governing and autonomous regions bordering Israel. When Palestinians speak of “occupation,” they are referring to the whole of Israel, which they consider illegitimate despite international recognition.] And what is also true is that there is a history of the Jewish people that may be dismissed unless your grandparents or your great grandparents or your uncle or your aunt tell you stories about the madness of anti-Semitism. And what is true is that there are people right now who are dying who have nothing to do with what Hamas did, and what is true, right? [OCS: The truth that Obama refuses to acknowledge is simple: if Hamas and other terrorist groups would put down their arms, there would be peace. If Hamas did not use their own men, women, and children as human shields and place weapons in or near private homes, schools, hospitals, and Mosques, civilian deaths would be minimized. And, if the citizens of Gaza did not elect, support, and celebrate the corrupt and barbaric actions of Hamas, their lives would be immeasurably improved.] I mean, we can go on for a while, and the problem with the social media and trying to TikTok activism and trying to debate this on that is you can’t speak the truth, you can pretend to speak the truth, you can speak one side of the truth. And in some cases, you can try to maintain your moral innocence, but that won’t solve the problem. And So if you want to solve the problem, then you have to take in the whole truth, and you then have to admit nobody’s hands are clean, that all of us are complicit to some degree. [OCS: There is no “moral innocence,” only moral ignorance. There cannot be any debate between good and evil, right or wrong – there are some things, like the deliberate and wanton killing of civilians, that are not open to discussion or argument. “The problem” is not a problem once you realize that this is not a territorial dispute or a political dispute. The “whole truth” is that we are facing a clash between cultures, namely a tolerant but imperfect Western culture and an intolerant 12th-century culture based on barbarism where unbelievers are either dead or enslaved people.] I look at this, and I think back; what could I have done during my presidency to move this forward? As hard as I tried, I’ve got the scars to prove it. But there’s a part of me that’s still saying, well, was there something else I could have done? [OCS: While Obama’s administration did not provide direct support to Hamas, designated as a terrorist organization by several countries, including the United States and the European Union, they did provide humanitarian aid and funding for projects to the Palestinian people. Aid which was siphoned off and used to support continuing Hamas aggression rather than promote peace and stability in the region.] That’s the conversation we should be having, not just looking backwards but looking forward and, and that can’t happen if we are confining ourselves to our outrage. [OCS: No! We must channel our collective outrage and destroy Hamas and its war machinery. We must eliminate the perpetual existential threat to Israel. We must not diminish or cease any action that leaves Hamas as a viable governor of Gaza. And we must hold those responsible for this atrocity accountable. If civilians are injured or killed, that is on Hamas, not Israel.] I would rather see you out there talking to people, including people who you disagree with it. I, if you genuinely want to change this, then you’ve got to figure out how to speak to somebody on the other side and listen to them and understand what they are talking about and not, and not dismiss it, because you can’t save that child and without their help, not in this situation. [OCS: We are beyond talk. It is time to take lethal action against those who are attempting to bring about a Jewish genocide.] |
As Rick Moran notes, “But Barack Obama has no moral sense. There aren’t two sides equally at fault. One side is trying to eradicate an entire people. The other isn’t. This is a self-evident truth that one must deliberately try to ignore to see a ‘middle ground’ where none exists.” <Source>
Consider the dangers of moral equivalency for politicians refusing to take sides in the fight between good and evil.
-
When politicians refuse to condemn morally reprehensible actions, they fail to hold wrongdoers accountable, implicitly condone bad behavior, and create a sense of impunity where bad actors can thrive without fear of consequences. By refusing to denounce evil, they weaken people's faith in the democratic system, leading to disillusionment and apathy among citizens.
-
Moral equivalency can normalize and legitimize dangerous extremist ideologies by equating radical views with more moderate ones, encouraging extremist groups.
-
Taking a neutral or “nuanced” stance in the face of good versus evil can polarize society, deepen divisions, and erode social cohesion.
- There is no doubt that the moral equivalency of the progressive communist democrats has dramatically damaged America’s reputation in the world. By failing to condemn evil actions abroad and back our allies fully, America has strained diplomatic relations and weakened alliances with our friends.
-
If the United States continues to cripple activities in Israel, it will undermine efforts to promote peace, human rights, and global stability, leading to more conflicts and unrest worldwide.
Bottom line…
Moral equivalency by the progressive communist democrats will perpetuate intolerance and discrimination by equating discriminatory beliefs with inclusive ones. It sends a message that prejudiced attitudes are just as valid as accepting and inclusive ones, which curtails efforts to combat racism, sexism, homophobia, anti-Semitism, and other forms of discrimination.
Taking a stand against evil is not just a moral imperative but also a civic duty. In refusing to equivocate, politicians can empower their communities, inspire positive change, and build a future where good triumphs over evil.
When will someone hold Barack Obama accountable for all of the damage he has caused to our nation and the world? Let us not forget that it was Obama and his cadre of communist acolytes who radicalized American institutions, spied on American citizens, subverted justice, and are grossly responsible for all of the corruption and damage done by Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State John Kerry, and others.
I still want to know where Obama was when Muslim terrorists attacked Benghazi and who gave the stand-down order to prevent their rescue.
We are so screwed.
