Gavin Newsom's campaign approach focuses on bumper sticker politics and garnering media attention through brief snapshots and sound bites, often avoiding challenging questions or deflecting them until time constraints end a painfully honest interrogation.

However, when faced with a questioner possessing both media and political savvy and the time to delve into difficult follow-ups, the dynamics change, portraying Newsom as another jumped-up narcissistic politician.

Consider this exchange that involves Gavin Newsom making an assertion related to minorities and subsequently facing a formidable challenge from Adam Carolla, a multifaceted entertainer known for his roles as a comedian, radio personality, actor, and podcast host. 

Newsom, the former Mayor of San Francisco and current California Governor, often dodges a considerable list of issues for which he should be held accountable.

The characterization of California as a state governed solely by progressive communist democrats and in severe decline is highlighted by the issues where Newsom offers up canned, focus-group-tested answers or ignores them entirely.

• COVID-19 restrictions: California was decimated by COVID-19 restrictions that were ineffective in curbing the virus spread while significantly impacting businesses and imposing lockdowns on residents -- as a maskless Newsom partied with lobbyists at an exclusive restaurant.

• Homelessness crisis: California's homelessness crisis is exacerbated by its overly generous welfare policies and non-judgmental drug enforcement efforts.

• Crime: Crime is flourishing in a state dominated by prosecutors who fail to prosecute and judges who refuse to jail criminals. Not to mention the near de-criminalization of petty theft, such as shoplifting, and the continuing release of criminals into California communities. California residents have become second-class citizens as illegal aliens are treated leniently by the justice system -- including the deliberate failure of California's law enforcement officials to cooperate with federal immigration officials when it comes to the deportation of illegal alien criminals. All while trying to disarm law-abiding citizens to create a larger pool of victims clamoring for a more authoritarian government.

• Immigration policies: California's health, housing, and job markets are being decimated by unchecked illegal aliens who are rapidly depleting the state's safety net reserves.

• Education policies: California openly prioritizes indoctrination over education, resulting in graduating yet another generation of functionally illiterate students. The overwhelming influence of teachers' unions on California politicians cannot be overstated.

• Economic policies: California's economic policies, including higher taxes and increased regulations, have led to an exodus of high-paying jobs as wealthy individuals and corporations leave for more business-friendly states.

• Water Management and Wildfires: Water management and wildfire policies are heavily influenced by communist environmental activists, leading to man-made droughts and destructive wildfires.

The progressive communist democrats want to destroy our former Golden State from within, using the communist Cloward-Piven strategy to overwhelm government institutions.

Fox News is producing a 90-minute debate between California Governor Gavin Newsom and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to be moderated by Sean Hannity, which will be aired live on November 30, 2023, from Alpharetta, Georgia, without an audience in attendance.

According to the network,  the program is about the significant issues impacting the country and examining the vastly different approaches between the two governors, and will offer insights into their political philosophies and ambitions for the nation. Problems include the economy, the border, immigration, crime, and inflation.

My opinion is that the narcissistic, continually interrupting Hannity would be a far distant second to Tucker Carlson or any number of other moderators who can ask good follow-up questions without the smirking urge to score personal points. 

Bottom line…

Why would anyone in their right mind support Gavin Newsom, a San Francisco elitist whose progressive communist democrat policies are destroying California?
