Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn’t October 1st, the beginning of the new federal fiscal year when Congress must enact either a continuing resolution (CR) or regular appropriations to fund the government’s activities, come at the same time each year? With sufficient time for Congress to create and debate a budget? So, one might ask, does Congress wait until the last moment that threatens a faux government shutdown where only public-facing services are curtailed and all government employees receive retroactive pay?

Could it be to force unpalatable items to be accepted without public debate or approval? Like an additional $300 million in Ukraine aid stuffed into the Defense Authorization Act?

And, what’s up with the GOP declaring war on itself and allowing a few grandstanding members like Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Green to hold the party hostage unless their personal demands are met?

Where is the outrage over a TWO TRILLION DOLLAR ANNUAL BUDGET DEFICIT? (In 2022, the U.S. government had a budget deficit of 1.36 trillion U.S. dollars. This is compared to 2000 when the government had a budget surplus of 0.24 trillion U.S. dollars.) Of course, much of the accounting is smoke and mirrors – with “off the books” accounting hiding the truth.

When indicted on three counts of corruption, including conspiracy to commit extortion under color of official right, a charge reserved for public officials who take bribes in return for official acts, as well as using his position on the foreign affairs committee to transmit classified information to Egypt, his first line of defense is typical. There should be no doubt that the U.S. Constitution is a bulwark against the type of authoritarian tyranny we now see as America is knowingly driven into a police state by Democrats. What started as limitations on the federal government’s power to enumerated functions, with checks and balances to protect civil rights, has morphed into a tool granting centralized national government power not even contemplated by the Founding Fathers. The progressive communists own academia and the media, so why wouldn’t they combine forces to pursue their toxic agenda? So much for trusting progressive “intellectuals” and “experts.”

I wonder what line item in the federal budget will reimburse Uber Eats for the fees it charges when one of its drivers does a grocery run in the name of the “most vulnerable” illegal aliens.

Bill Gates Bullshit...

Speaking before  the New York Times "Climate Forward" event, Gates remarkably said, “Are we the science people or are we the idiots?” “Which one do we want to be?”

Considering the event's sponsor, one might suggest the answer is neither. They are not science people, nor are they idiots. What they are is malevolently evil individuals pursuing a destructive progressive communist agenda. 

Recognizing that America is waking up to the elite bullshit and the pendulum of commonsense is returning toward the middle, Gates further observed, “If you try to do climate brute force, you will get people who say, ‘I like climate but I don’t want to bear that cost and reduce my standard of living.” “Without innovation, it’s unlikely, particularly in middle-income countries, that the brute force approach will be successful.” But that's the reality under the Obama and Biden Administrations, where Executive Orders on environmental issues became de facto laws, was all about brute force.

Gates' ego was on full display as he commented, “I’m the person who is doing the most on climate in terms of the innovation and how we can square multiple goals.” “There’s very limited money for causes to reduce inequity in the world. And no temperate country is going to become uninhabitable.” Huh! I thought the goal was to reduce the global temperature, not deal with global inequities -- but then again, elite liberals like Gates show their true elitist colors when they open their mouths.

Gates is immune from the consequences of his destructive actions. He apparently is willing to stand by and cheer as America's energy-dependent economy is being destroyed for something that may never happen in a million years.

I don't care how intelligent Gates may be or how fast he can master the basics of a complex subject, he is still an elite communist democrat.

Bottom line...

Everywhere I look, I see corruption. Lots of questions, with few answers from either side of the aisle.
