And that our progressive communist democrat politicians, at the behest of billionaire and millionaire donors who are well-insulated from the consequences of their actions, are restricting or eliminating criminal prosecutions and passing legislation that incentivizes criminal activity.

Likewise, judges, driven by their progressive ideology, demand that hardened criminals be released back into our communities and that illegal alien criminals be treated differently than ordinary citizens.

Los Angeles County deputy shot and killed after being 'ambushed' in his patrol car

Neither a suspect nor a motive has been identified. Sheriff Robert Luna said it appeared the deputy was killed because “he was in uniform."

A Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy was "ambushed" and killed in his patrol car by an unknown person Saturday. Authorities suspect the deputy was targeted simply because "he was in uniform."

Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer, 30, was found unconscious in his car at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sheriff Robert Luna told reporters at a late-night news conference. The bystander called 911, and Clinkunbroomer was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound. He did not survive.

Authorities have not identified a suspect. Luna said that no theory had been eliminated for the shooter's motive but that it appeared the deputy was targeted because "he was in uniform."

"He was just driving down the street, and for no apparent reason — and we’re still looking into the specific reasons — somebody decided to shoot and murder him," Luna said.

Clinkunbroomer had just left the Palmdale station, and his car was found nearby at the intersection of Sierra Highway and Avenue Q. Law enforcement officials familiar with the investigation said Sunday that a video clip that shows a car pulling alongside the patrol car before it speeds away is a focus in the investigation. <Source>

UPDATE: (9/18) The alleged suspect is now in custody and his mother indicates that he is a paranoid schitzophenic who may have been off his meds and that she had requested help from deputies previously. The suspect is also said to have attempted suicide on at least two occasions. Another example where it is the individual, and not the weapon, responsible for a despicable act. The failure to deal with the mentally ill population falls squarely on the politicians and judiciary.

Footage shows teen driver appear to deliberately hit and kill retired police chief Andreas Probst

A retired California police chief appeared to be deliberately mowed down and killed while riding his bike in Las Vegas by a laughing teenage driver whose pal can be heard saying “Yeah, hit his ass,” video of the incident shows.

Andreas Probst, 64, was killed after he was deliberately struck while out for a morning bike ride around 6 a.m. on Aug. 14, according to Las Vegas police.

The unidentified 17-year-old driver of the Hyundai was arrested by police soon afterward, The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

The teen has since been charged with murder, after police discovered a video posted to social media that allegedly showed him deliberately hitting the man.

This weekend, the shocking footage went viral online, showing the driver asking his pals “ready?” as the passenger films, laughing.

Illegal immigrant charged with murder released by New York police because of paperwork delay: Reports

An illegal immigrant charged with stabbing a man to death in New York was previously released by police because of a paperwork delay despite being accused of a separate stabbing in another state, according to multiple reports.

Carlos Corrales-Ramirez, a 20-year-old Honduran national, was arrested and arraigned this week in a Rensselaer County, New York court for the fatal stabbing of 28-year-old Jario J. Hernandez-Sanchez, 28, of Troy, New York on September 2.

However, a report by The National Desk said that Corrales-Ramirez was previously arrested by border patrol agents near Champlain, New York in March before being turned over to New York State Police when border patrol saw there was an active warrant for his arrest in Laurel, Maryland for a non-fatal stabbing.

He then spent three months in the Clinton County Jail waiting for Maryland to approve his extradition — which never came — before a county judge finally ordered his release in June.

According to the report, Maryland failed to obtain a governor's warrant for the extradition in that three-month time frame, leading Clinton County Judge William Favreau to approve an extension of his hold from 30 days to 90 days because Maryland had not responded to the extradition request. <Source>
