NEWS ORGANIZATION ASKS YOU TO FUND DEMOCRAT ANTI-SEMITISM
In yesterday’s email …
Let me put this as plainly as I can: Palestinians today live under apartheid rule, occupied or governed by a far-right Israeli state whose ruling coalition openly celebrates their killing and displacement. [OCS: This is an absolute lie advanced by anti-Semitic individuals and organizations, including the progressive communist democrats, who hate Israel and need a scapegoat for their own nefarious activities.] I can write those words because I work for The Intercept. But when Rep. Pramila Jayapal, the chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, said recently that “Israel is a racist state,” the backlash from Congress and the D.C. press was overwhelming. [No! You can write this because you work for an organization that slavishly supports the progressive communist democrats and is, itself, a progressive propaganda mill disguised as a news-gathering organization. Rep. Pramila Jayapal, the chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, is a radical anti-America, anti-Israel, anti-Semitic Democrat bomb thrower.] The House of Representatives swiftly responded with a 412-9 vote promising to “always” support Israel, adding, for good measure, that it is not only not a “racist state” but also not an “apartheid state” — never mind what human rights organizations have concluded. At the White House press room, outraged reporters immediately demanded to know if the president would denounce Jayapal. Days later, when the far-right government overrode protests to weaken the independent judiciary, Washington was largely silent. [OCS: Human Rights Organizations packed with member-state representatives that openly suppress human rights and issue periodic anti-Israel statements to maintain diplomatic ties or secure funding from oppressive governments. Most Islamic countries are far more violative of human rights than Israel, yet they escape sustained criticism. That the judiciary in Israel was independent is debatable. It is a self-sustaining unelected body that chooses its own justices and is a captive of the secular left progressives in Israel. Judicial reform was necessary to prevent the secular left from sacrificing the Jewish State to the progressives and their Arab comrades.] It’s been said that a gaffe is when a politician tells an obvious truth that’s supposed to go unspoken. But journalists are supposed to report unspoken truths — not enforce the official consensus. [OCS: No! The progressive communist democrat propagandists parrot the official narrative, not tell the truth – spoken or unspoken.] As Israel turns even more sharply toward authoritarianism, The Intercept is one of the few outlets courageous enough to ask the tough questions about U.S. support for occupation and apartheid. [OCS: Pick any nation surrounding Israel and then tell me about authoritarianism, freedom, and human rights! It is not “courageous” to repeat a libel when it is advanced as the official narrative of the progressive communist democrats.] To continue this independent coverage, The Intercept depends on readers like you. Can you step up with a donation today? [OCS: How can the Intercept claim to be independent when enthralled by the progressive communist democrats and radical left billionaire Pierre Omidyar?] If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [OCS: “ActBlue is an American nonprofit technology organization established in June 2004 that enables left-leaning nonprofits, Democratic candidates, and progressive groups to raise money from individual donors on the Internet by providing them with online fundraising software.” Hardly independent and under investigation for suspicious fictitious donations.] Ryan Grim D.C. Bureau Chief The Intercept’s fiscal sponsor is First Look Institute, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization (tax ID number 80-0951255). [OCS: “First Look Media is a research and media organization founded by eBay co-founder Pierre Omidyar in partnership with controversial left-of-center activist journalist Glenn Greenwald, perhaps best known for collaborating in the mass disclosure of classified national security documents by Edward Snowden, a former U.S. government contractor residing in Russia as of early 2019. In 2020, Greenwald resigned from First Look, citing the organization’s refusal to run an article critical of Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden.”] |
The truth is simple and self-evident.
Any claim that Israel resembles apartheid in South Africa, where institutionalized racial segregation and discrimination were enforced, is another libel against Israel and its diverse population.
Since the founding of the State of Israel on May 14, 1948, when the British Mandate expired, Israel has been beset by Arabs seeking to destroy Israel and kill Jews, including the Arab-Israeli Wars that started on May 15 when Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, and local Palestinian Arab militias attacked Israel.
Since that time, Israel has been constantly under attack, including the Six-Day War (1967 - Egypt, Jordan, and Syria), the War of Attrition (1967-1970), the Yom Kippur War (1973 – Egypt and Syria), the Lebanon War (1982), the First Intifada (1987-1993) and Second Intifada (2000-2005), and the continuing Gaza-Israel Conflicts.
Israel is not an apartheid state but a democratic nation with a diverse population and significant security challenges. Israel's need for strict rules and security measures is a legitimate response to ensure the protection of its civilian population and maintain stability in the region.
Democracy and Equal Rights: Unlike apartheid South Africa, Israel is a democratic state where all citizens, Jews, Arabs, and others, have equal voting rights. Arabs, like other citizens, can create political parties and hold government jobs.
Security Concerns: There is no doubt that Israel faces unique and existential security challenges, including threats from terrorist organizations and hostile Arab neighbors. The need for strict security measures to protect its civilian population is evident, including the construction of barriers and checkpoints intended to prevent the entry of terrorist attackers, not to enforce Arab segregation. No other nation is the routine recipient of thousands of randomly aimed rockets pointed toward a civilian population.
Unique Historical Background: Israel was founded after the Holocaust, establishing a Jewish state in response to the extermination of six million Jews, centuries of persecution, and the need for a homeland to ensure the safety and protection of Jews worldwide.
Security: Israel's strict security measures result from ongoing and never-ending conflict and violence arising from the terrorist-led territories ceded by Israel as a peace gesture.
Right of Return: The right of return is seen as a challenge to Israel's existence as a Jewish state, where allowing the return of millions of Palestinian-Arab refugees and their descendants would negatively alter the demographic balance within Israel's borders and threaten its Jewish majority to undermine Israel's security and stability.
Peace Effort Failures: Israel has advanced multiple attempts to negotiate peace with its Palestinian-Arab neighbors, demonstrating its commitment to resolving the conflict by negotiation, including the Oslo Accords and the Camp David Summit. Despite Israel's willingness to make concessions for peace, achieving lasting peace remains elusive due to the lack of a negotiator that speaks for the entire Palestinian-Arab population and their historical rejection of a two-state solution.
Bottom line…
Perhaps we should defer to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who observed, “If the Arabs lay down their arms there will be no more war, but if Israel lays down its weapons there would be no more Israel."
The Palestinian-Arabs hate Israel as it clearly demonstrates a potential for prosperity and a better life for impoverished Arabs. And without an Israeli scapegoat, the radical Arab terrorists would lose not only their legitimacy and political power but the funding behind their kleptocracy. Hence, a propaganda war supported by anti-Semitic progressive communist democrats.
We are so screwed.
