In a world filled with diverse political views and complex challenges, choosing the right political candidate can be daunting, with every election sold as a make-or-break existential threat to democracy.

We are presented with a multitude of issues and promises, making it challenging to identify which ones align most closely with our values and beliefs.

We are asked to identify those issues that matter most to you, whether they pertain to the economy, healthcare, education, environment, social justice, or international relations, on the belief that understanding our own core values and beliefs is crucial to selecting our nation’s leadership.

What are your issues?

This is precisely what the elites controlling the political parties want after dividing the population into identity groups with specific grievances to cobble together a winning coalition by promising entitlements on top of legislation that redresses grievances in a manner to create another privileged class.

• They ask you to pay close attention to the candidate’s positions on the issues that matter most to you and match your values and priorities to the candidates' platforms. Asking you to read detailed policy proposals and plans for addressing the problems you care about. Unfortunately, those who create these platforms know these vague promises are written like a fortune teller’s predictions – broad enough to apply to the largest possible audience and in a focus group-tested language that appeals to the majority of individuals.

• They ask you to assess the candidate’s track record and integrity, evaluating the candidate’s past actions and looking for consistency in their stance on important issues over time while claiming integrity and accountability are essential traits in a candidate. Truth be told, most candidates have been corrupted by the system by the time they run for office and have character flaws that allow them to lie, cheat, and steal while feigning sincerity.

• They ask you to assess a candidate’s ability to build consensus and work across the aisle as being critical for effective governance – looking for candidates who have a history of collaboration and compromise. In other words, they ask you to select a horse-trading sellout willing to compromise on the nation’s safety, security, and economic future to benefit the candidate’s political and personal self-interests.  When the GOP speaks of bi-partisanship, it is appeasement -- selling out our nation.

• They ask you to consider multiple perspectives by engaging in discussions with unions, friends, family, and members of your community who might have different political views. Many of whom may be ignorant, apathetic, or willing to support a progressive communist democrat agenda mindlessly.  

• And, since Donald Trump, they ask you to analyze a candidate’s communication style, warning you to be wary of brash statements and mean tweets – promoting a civility that demands you thank “my good friend, the Senator from nowhere” as they stab you in the back.

And it is all bullshit…

While aligning with a candidate's professed values is nice, it is essential to consider their electability and ability to raise large amounts of money. Ignore that the candidates will pander to the mega-donors and special interests while hinting that they have broad support among the little people who contribute ten to twenty-five dollars. I’m looking for the tough-minded candidate willing to tell the media to f*ck off and point out that the opposition’s emperor is not only naked but diddling himself.

Bottom line…

It is my observation that the progressive communist democrats, especially the communist-in-chief Barack Obama and Obama's sock-puppet, the corrupt senile Joe Biden, have nearly succeeded in destroying our nation, its military, its economy, and its culture from within. We have gone over the abyss and are clinging to a tree, waiting for a rescue.

To say we are screwed is an understatement.

It is time to vote like your life, your family’s lives, and future generations depend on what you do in the voting booth.

I observe that while GOP candidates may not be able to right existing wrongs quickly in one term, it is the progressive communist democrats and their RINO (Republicans In Name Only) collaborators who are the proximate cause of the troubles we face. And, while there are no Republicans in the Democrat caucus, there are Democrats in the Republican caucus. 

It is our last-ditch attempt to preserve our nation.
