I have just finished reading the public version of the Durham Report, including the footnotes.

While it is not meant to be read as a novel, it does present a compelling story, a cautionary tale of the hard times ahead for the United States of America.

My summary…

A pre-existing cabal of Democrat-branded participants, notably the corrupt scandal-ridden Clintonistas and the scandal-ridden ideologically-driven Obamacons, executed a loosely-coupled coup to: one, gain perpetual political power; and two, to subvert the government, institutions, and culture of America to bring about a bloodless revolution, a coup d'état, if you will.

There is no doubt that the vehicle for the attempt was the Democratic Party which had long ago surrendered to the communists who had infiltrated almost every facet of our infrastructure to destroy capitalism and institute a socialist authoritarian party governed through elites on behalf of a ruling class of political families and oligarchs.

Running cover for this rapidly metastasizing threat to our democracy was the legacy mainstream media that had lost its journalistic ethics long ago. Witness the so-called “newspaper of record,” The New York Times, that minimized Hitler’s Holocaust and spoke glowingly of Stalin’s Soviet Union – conveniently overlooking mass murder and misery.

The most challenging task was convincing ordinary citizens, termed “useful idiots," to unwittingly support this palace revolution by past and current members of our government who had sworn an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.

The label "useful idiots" was a phrase attributed to Vladimir Lenin, the Russian revolutionary leader, who used it to describe sympathizers in Western countries who, without realizing it, were furthering the goals of the Soviet Union. These individuals were seen as well-intentioned but naïve supporters who unintentionally aided the Soviet propaganda machine.

The “oath of office” exists in several forms, but is usually in the form of, "I solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of [country], against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of [position/office] on which I am about to enter."

Democracy will not survive, so it is your moral duty to disregard norms, customs, and the law...

To accomplish this task of subverting a large, well-intentioned group of naïve supporters into a cadre of traitors, the cabal and their mainstream media propagandists demonized a single individual, Donald J. Trump, who was portrayed as a mega-villain worse than the loathsome mass murderer Adolph Hitler.

A man and an image so hated that it was morally acceptable to use any means, fair or foul, to prevent his rise to power and avert the cataclysmic destruction of America.

Thus empowered, ordinary individuals could look beyond moral and legal restrictions to perform criminal acts they could previously never imagine, let alone perform. To some degree, half the nation was caught up in a mass hysteria ginned up by skilled propagandists, agitators, and activists. Among those infected were members of law enforcement and the judiciary who refused to hold individuals accountable for their egregious political and criminal activities to thwart the evilest of the evil, Donald Trump.

Thus distracted, Americans did not recognize and note the destruction of American institutions and culture in the name of diversity, inclusion, and equity, whose ironic acronym is DIE.

These "useful idiots" did not take note of the invasion of illegal aliens who were consuming public resources like a hoard of locusts and becoming a political power unto themselves.

They did not take note of the collapse of our judicial system that made fair trials and juror pools impossible in judicial venues that were specifically selected to excuse the bad behavior of the regime’s shock troops like Antifa and Black Lives Matter.

They were unaware of happenings comprised of bald-faced lies or censored by ideologically-driven editors. They cheered when dissidents were canceled and denied access to public platforms.

What are the lessons learned from the Durham Report?

1. Most of the report’s findings were subject to previously leaked disclosures and discussions in the media, both legacy and social – and thus deliberately overlooked and dismissed by the media as “old news.”

2. Nobody was held accountable. The previous criminal referrals and prosecutions went nowhere as ideologically-tainted judges and jurors saw that wrongdoers were acquitted. The one person who pled guilty, FBI Attorney Kevin Clinesmith, received the sentence of 12 months probation and 400 hours community service from a U.S. District Court for knowingly altering exculpatory evidence that would have halted the investigation into Carter Page. Clinesmith was allowed to regain his license to practice law even though pleading guilty to lesser offenses resulted in permanent disbarment.

3. America is at risk for similar behavior continuing, including the subversion of the 2024 presidential election since everyone has been whitewashed and given a free pass, High-ranking government officials like President Barack Obama; Vice President Joe Biden; FBI Director James B. Comey; Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates; national security adviser Susan E. Rice; Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Adam Schiff, and others should be in prison.

4. We must find a way to restore journalism and free speech in America.

5. We must reform those subverted government institutions such as the CIA, FBI, NSA, and the Court system.

Bottom line…

We must overcome the progressive communist democrat paradox: you must destroy democracy to save democracy!

It is mandatory to prosecute those who attempted to overthrow the government by subverting the Presidency and committing malicious acts while in government service. Otherwise, we are doomed to see another coup attempt soon.

Nobody is as qualified to lead a reform effort than the demonized and discredited Donald Trump. But how to get the brainwashed “useful idiots” to admit they have been played and to vote against the progressive communist democrats now infesting our nation?

Most people are not engaged and are clueless.  Don't be a "useful idiot."

We are so screwed.
