Déjà vu all over again…

Peter Daszek’s EcoHealth Alliance, the group that funded gain-of-function research that probably led to the COVID-19 pandemic originating in Wuhan, China, just got a grant renewal from NIH (National Institutes of Health) to study coronavirus outbreaks. It appears to be the very same grant that former President Trump canceled for obvious reasons.

If you had any remaining doubts that the progressive communist democrats are trying to destroy America from within…

Are we crazy?

1. Communist China is a sworn enemy of the United States and is threatening United States interests in Taiwan, the South China Sea, and nations with significant strategic value.

2. There is virtually no doubt that the recent pandemic that killed millions of people and crippled the U.S. economy originated in Wuhan, China.

3. The proximate cause of the pandemic was a lab leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, where gain-of-function research, funded in part by the U.S. government through EcoHealth Alliance, was performed.

4. The Communist Chinese government delayed reporting the lab leak and provided misinformation to world health authorities as they covered up their culpability and responsibility for the leak.

5. It appears that the Communist Chinese government further seeded the pandemic worldwide so they were not disproportionately impacted.

6. Undoubtedly, the Wuhan lab had a military component, and the gain of research was dual-use technology that could be used for biological weapons of mass destruction.

7. U.S. Health authorities were complicit in the coverup and assisted the progressive communist democrats in weaponizing the pandemic to advance a political agenda.

8. The U.S. still does not have access to the Wuhan research facilities and cannot guarantee a similar catastrophe in the near future.

9. NIH failed to monitor the contract.  "NIH says grantee failed to report experiment in Wuhan that created a bat virus that made mice sicker -- EcoHealth Alliance violated terms of grant, according to letter to House Republicans <Source>"

A clear and present danger…

Gain-of-function research involves manipulating viruses to make them more transmissible, more virulent, or both, to study how they might evolve in the future and potentially find ways to prevent or treat future outbreaks. However, this type of research can also pose significant risks to public health and safety. Some of the dangers of gain of function research on viruses include:

Accidental release: There is always a risk that a laboratory conducting gain-of-function research could accidentally release a virus that has been genetically modified to be more contagious or lethal. This could lead to a pandemic, as the virus could spread rapidly and uncontrollably through the population.

2. Intentional misuse: Gain-of-function research also raises concerns about the potential for intentional misuses, such as bioterrorism or the creation of a biological weapon.

3. Lack of knowledge: Scientists may not fully understand the potential consequences of their research, such as how the virus might evolve or mutate in response to genetic modifications.

There is no doubt that gain-of-function research on viruses poses significant risks to public health and safety and must be conducted with extreme caution and strict safety protocols in place. It is essential that researchers and policymakers carefully weigh the potential benefits and risks of this type of research and take steps to minimize the potential harm.

Bottom line…

Be wary. I don’t care if the top scientists at NIH (National Institutes of Health), NIAID (National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases), or the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) say they have reviewed the protocols and swear they are safe – please let us not make this mistake again. It is unforgivable to make the same damn mistake again, knowing the outcome of the first mistake.

This is not a game. Relying on the Communist Chinese government is like playing Russian Roulette with five chambers loaded with live ammunition.

We are so screwed.
