MISSING RUSH
Today marks the second anniversary of the passing of talk radio legend, the iconic Rush Limbaugh…
Rush’s wit and wisdom enlightened and entertained us for more than thirty years– and on the way, delayed the death of terrestrial A.M. radio. Those who appear in his old time slots are informative and entertaining, but not on a consistent basis nor possess the analytical insight of Rush.
What I miss most is Rush’s irreverent humor that highlighted the absurdity and hypocrisy of liberals in a way that provoked outrageously over-the-top amusing responses by the opposition – only to provoke Rush anew.
Rush was a good man, something you do not find often in the media. illing to listen to everybody no matter how tedious or hackneyed the message; creating yet another teachable moment.
Even profound and life-altering deafness did not deter Rush from delivering on his promise to his audience.
Rush may have been a constitutional conservative, but he was always an American first.
I miss Rush.
