PROGRESSIVE ART SUCKS AS MUCH AS THEIR IDEOLOGY
[I do not believe the word "radically" was a mistake, and they intended to use the word "racially."]
Once again, I am convinced that progressive communist democrats have a vested interest in creating meaningless ugly public art to allow the creation of the fashionable narrative of the day.
Here we find a $9.5 million 20-foot-high bronze sculpture called "The Embrace" being unveiled in the Boston, Massachusetts Commons to commemorate the life of civil rights leader Martin Luther King, It is said to be one of the country’s largest public memorials dedicated to racial equity. The statute is said to represent four intertwined arms, a symbolic representation of the embrace between MLK and his wife, Coretta Scott King when they learned he had won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964.
Ironic because Martin Luther King wanted a color-blind society where individuals were judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. A one hundred and eighty-degree divergence from the progressive communist democrat social justice warriors and their Critical Race Theory, which is all about color over character. I dare say that MLK would be appalled to find that Blacks were actively taught that they are victims and oppressed by systemic whiteness.
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
What I see is another race-based progressive communist democrat front group doing what they do best: organizing, fundraising, and advancing identity politics and class warfare.
Bottom line…
I find it abhorrent that any group that promotes racism and exacerbates racial tensions in America should be allowed to mask its true agenda without comment and criticism. The only structural racism I see is in the Black community, where profiting from racial politics is more profitable for those selling collectivized snake oil than promoting individualism and responsibility for one's actions.
We are so screwed.
