After severely beclowning herself and losing credibility with the White House press stenographers, Jen Psaki is escaping the Biden orbit of distortion and deception for greener pastures.

President Biden Announces Karine Jean-Pierre as White House Press Secretary

Today, President Biden announced Karine Jean-Pierre has been promoted to be Assistant to the President and White House Press Secretary. Karine will step into the Press Secretary role replacing Jen Psaki, who will depart from the White House on May 13.

Statement from President Biden: “I am proud to announce that Karine Jean-Pierre will serve as the next White House Press Secretary.

“Karine not only brings the experience, talent and integrity needed for this difficult job, but she will continue to lead the way in communicating about the work of the Biden-Harris Administration on behalf of the American people. The White House also announced the return of Anita Dunn as a Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President. Dunn rejoins the White House staff from her communications and political consulting firm SKDK, and will assist in advancing the President’s policy and communications objectives.

Prior to her role on the campaign, she served as Chief Public Affairs Officer for MoveOn.org and an NBC and MSNBC Political Analyst. She served as a chief strategist to President Obama as a senior campaign advisor and as the White House Communications Director. She has also worked in leading roles for Tom Daschle, Bill Bradley, and Evan Bayh.

As Senior Advisor to President Biden, Anita advised on the administration’s overall strategy and messaging, helping the President take steps and win legislative victories that helped jumpstart the economy after the pandemic. Dunn, married to Robert Bauer, Barack Obama’s White House Counsel,  was one of a handful of Obama’s inner circle and his chief strategist and propagandist. As the former White House Communications Director, it will be Dunn setting the messaging of the Biden regime, protecting Obama’s legacy during the difficult times leading up to the mid-term – especially with all of the diversions that will result from bad domestic and foreign situations, including Special Counsel Durham's work.

Dunn’s style is embodied in her quote, “Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn’t absolutely control.”

Bottom line…

It appears that the Biden regime is looking to the DHS to contain unpleasant truths using intimidation, censorship, and cancellation while Anita Dunn directs the lies, distortions, and propaganda bullshit spewing from the new Press Secretary’s mouth.

IS THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION TRYING TO GO TO WAR WITH RUSSIA TO DISTRACT AMERICANS AND JUSTIFY SPENDING?

Once again, someone in the Biden administration or the U.S. military leaked inflammatory national security-related information that is unnecessarily provocative to a hostile foreign power and could serve as a raison d'etre for an attack on American forces.

While open-source information clearly shows American surveillance activities, there is no justifiable reason for the administration to link them to the deaths of many prominent Russian generals – unless there is a nefarious sub-plot.

And it involves, once again, America’s Pravda, The New York Times, who published the leaked information.

U.S. Intelligence Is Helping Ukraine Kill Russian Generals, Officials Say

The United States has provided intelligence about Russian units that has allowed Ukrainians to target and kill many of the Russian generals who have died in action in the Ukraine war, according to senior American officials.

Ukrainian officials said they have killed approximately 12 generals on the front lines, a number that has astonished military analysts.

The targeting help is part of a classified effort by the Biden administration to provide real-time battlefield intelligence to Ukraine. That intelligence also includes anticipated Russian troop movements gleaned from recent American assessments of Moscow’s secret battle plan for the fighting in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine, the officials said. Officials declined to specify how many generals had been killed as a result of U.S. assistance.

The United States has focused on providing the location and other details about the Russian military’s mobile headquarters, which relocate frequently. Ukrainian officials have combined that geographic information with their own intelligence — including intercepted communications that alert the Ukrainian military to the presence of senior Russian officers — to conduct artillery strikes and other attacks that have killed Russian officers.

The intelligence sharing is part of a stepped-up flow in U.S. assistance that includes heavier weapons and tens of billions in aid, demonstrating how quickly the early American restraints on support for Ukraine have shifted as the war enters a new stage that could play out over months.

U.S. intelligence support to the Ukrainians has had a decisive effect on the battlefield, confirming targets identified by the Ukrainian military and pointing it to new targets. The flow of actionable intelligence on the movement of Russian troops that America has given Ukraine has few precedents. Since failing to advance on Kyiv, the capital, in the early part of the war, Russia has tried to regroup, with a more concentrated push in eastern Ukraine that so far has moved slowly and unevenly.

Officials interviewed for this article spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss details of the classified intelligence being shared with Ukraine.

The administration has sought to keep much of the battlefield intelligence secret, out of fear it will be seen as an escalation and provoke President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia into a wider war. American officials would not describe how they have acquired information on Russian troop headquarters, for fear of endangering their methods of collection. But throughout the war, the U.S. intelligence agencies have used a variety of sources, including classified and commercial satellites, to trace Russian troop movements. <Source>

U.S. intel helped Ukraine sink Russian flagship Moskva, officials say

The flagship of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet sank on April 14 after being struck by two Ukrainian Neptune anti-ship missiles, according to U.S. officials.

Intelligence shared by the U.S. helped Ukraine sink the Russian cruiser Moskva, U.S. officials told NBC News, confirming an American role in perhaps the most embarrassing blow to Vladimir Putin’s troubled invasion of Ukraine.

A guided missile cruiser carrying a crew of 510, the Moskva was the flagship of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet. It sank on April 14 after being struck by two Ukrainian Neptune anti-ship missiles, U.S. officials said. Moscow said the vessel sank after a fire. The Moskva was the largest Russian warship sunk in combat since World War II. American officials said there were significant Russian casualties, but they don’t know how many.

The attack happened after Ukrainian forces asked the Americans about a ship sailing in the Black Sea south of Odesa, U.S. officials told NBC News. The U.S. identified it as the Moskva, officials said, and helped confirm its location, after which the Ukrainians targeted the ship.

American officials have expressed concerns that reporting about U.S. intelligence sharing with Ukraine could anger Putin and provoke an unpredictable response, <Source>

These revelations have all of the classic earmarks of administration leaks. So we must ask what purpose could be served by these leaks about ongoing classified operations that could serve as a casus belli, an act to provoke further conflict and put American forces in danger.

(1)  Is the administration seeking to use the fear of a widening war to distract Americans from worsening inflation or another catastrophic domestic event like the hoards of illegal aliens assaulting our Southern Border before the upcoming midterm elections?

(2)  Is the administration seeking to justify billions of dollars in military aid to buoy-up American defense contractors who lost the gravy train when America surrendered Afghanistan and billions of dollars in advanced military hardware? Including billions of humanitarian and reconstruction aid, which almost always seems to fall into the hands of politically-connected strongmen and oligarchs? Running down the stock of military equipment to enable “green replacements?”

(3)  Is this an attempt by the Biden administration to erase the stain of Afghanistan by demonstrating their “tough resolve” in Ukraine?

(4)  Is the Obama-controlled Biden Administration being blackmailed by the Ukrainians using information relating to impeachable presidential offenses or other crimes committed by past or current administration officials?

(5) Is this a display of incompetence by individuals such as National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, Susan Rice, Samantha Power, and the other State Department/CIA Obamacons?

(6)  Is this simply another nefarious progressive communist democrat scheme to further weaken the United States economy and military?

(7)  If Russian sanctions are essential as a strategic deterrent against further aggression, why are there significant exemptions for specific individuals and organizations?

(8)  What the hell are Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) and the House Intelligence Committee doing other than wasting time pursuing, falsely, Donald Trump?

The administration disclaimers start to provide plausible deniability…

  • Adrienne Watson, the National Security Council’s spokesperson: "The United States provides battlefield intelligence to help the Ukrainians defend their country. We do not provide intelligence with the intent to kill Russian generals."
  • John Kirby, the Defense Department’s spokesperson, "We do not provide intelligence on the locations of senior leaders on the battlefield."

It can’t be us because we are pushing back. Yeah, right!

Bottom line…

What exactly is the strategic value of Ukraine to United States interests? Or is this simply another progressive communist democrat scheme to further weaken the United States economy and military?

It appears that the American people are being manipulated by the progressive communist democrats and their GOP cohorts.

And it is time to suspend all security clearances of former officials, especially those with media connections or employment.

THE OBAMA-BIDEN REGIME'S WAR ON CONSERVATIVES

Almost everything the media has labeled a conspiracy theory is coming true and appears to be much worse than initially thought.

There is little doubt that a criminal conspiracy to undermine the presidential candidacy and subsequently sabotage the Trump Administration, including creating a staged impeachment to remove him from office, was real. And those deep state actors in the Obama White House, Department of State, Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Central Intelligence Agency were all compromised in the attempt.

So it is no surprise that these very same people are staging a last-ditch effort to derail or destroy conservatives before the mid-term election, resulting in a GOP House majority that could investigate, disclose, prosecute, and punish any illicit conduct.

President Biden requested the intelligence community complete the assessment shortly after taking office, and his administration has made fighting domestic terrorism a priority.

A new intelligence report delivered to Congress on Wednesday by the Biden administration warned about the rising threat of militias and white supremacists, adding urgency to calls for more resources to fight the growing problem of homegrown extremism in the United States. <Source>

(6/20/21 – New York Times) Top law enforcement officials say the biggest domestic terror threat comes from white supremacists.

Attorney General Merrick B. Garland and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro N. Mayorkas told senators on Wednesday that the greatest domestic threat facing the United States came from what they both called “racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists.” <Source>

Step Two:  Control the narrative with an armed law enforcement agency like DHS rather than an unarmed FCC.

Disinformation Governance Board: Biden’s ‘Ministry of Truth’

How can any government be an arbiter of what is true and what is false?

As with many things, propaganda can be used for good or for ill, depending on who dispenses it. During World War II, American propaganda was considered a necessary tool in the pursuit of victory in a moral cause. Germany and Japan had their own propaganda machines to advance an evil agenda.

Now comes the announcement of a new office within the Department of Homeland Security to police “disinformation” and “misinformation.” Some critics are comparing it to the fictitious “Ministry of Truth” in George Orwell’s novel “1984.”

The new office will be headed by Nina Jankowicz who styles herself as Mary Poppins on TikTok (a social media platform owned by the Chinese communist government, a font of disinformation, which should be alarming). Didn’t Ms. Jankowicz spread disinformation about Hunter Biden’s laptop, which she said was a product of Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign? Wasn’t it Ms. Jankowicz who joined fellow Democrats in claiming Trump “colluded” with Russia to help him win the presidency?

The UK Daily Mail reported Ms. Jankowicz “shared misleading tweets about COVID-19 masks, claimed (a) Trump presidency would ‘embolden ISIS’ and praised (a) British spy behind the debunked Russian dossier.”

Why would anyone believe that the U.S. government - or any government - could be an arbiter of what is true and what is false? A brief trip down recent memory lane ought to disabuse people of such faith. <Source>

Why Is the New York Times Ignoring the Disinformation Governance Board?

I just checked — the Times still hasn’t even acknowledged the formation of the DHS’s new Ministry of Truth. If you still regard mainstream journalism as an earnest, if left-leaning, profession that seeks to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable “without fear or favor, regardless of party, sect, or interests involved,” that discrepancy might be confusing. But it makes sense if you realize that today, America’s elite legacy media essentially function as an activist extension of institutional progressivism. Its job is not to hold the powerful accountable, but to serve as the attack dogs of the most powerful players in American life. It is an enforcement arm of the socio-political hegemony of the elite Left — the Public Relations team for the alliance of academia, Big Tech, the corporate HR bureaucracy, the culture industry, and the Democratic Party.

Step Three: Create a polarizing cause previously associated with violence and mostly white extremists on both sides of the political spectrum.

Scores of protesters took to the steps in front of the Supreme Court on Tuesday hours after a draft opinion overturning the landmark Roe v. Wade decision leaked. Armed with megaphones, signs, buttons and at least one letterpress for speedy poster production, groups supporting and opposing abortion rights demonstrated and occasionally confronted one another in front of the barricaded court.

“Pro-choice is a lie, babies don’t choose to die,” a throng of anti-abortion activists chanted.

“Bans off our bodies” and “my body, my choice,” their counterparts replied.

The size of the crowd grew gradually during the day. Senator Elizabeth Warren, Democrat of Massachusetts, delivered a short speech denouncing the “extremist Supreme Court.” <Source>

Remember when Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer made this threat about abortion cases coming before SCOTUS?

I want to tell you, Gorsuch. I want to tell you, Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price! You won't know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.

On Tuesday, Schumer's remarks made it clear that Democrats intend to turn Court decision ending Roe against Republicans. Schumer branded the Court's conservatives as "extremists" and "far right." From Fox News, May 3:

Make no mistake, the blame for this decision falls squarely on Republican senators and the Senate Republicans as a whole, who spent years pushing extremist judges, spent years confirming three far right justices to the Supreme Court, but who claimed somehow this day would never come[.] ... But this day has come and we will fight it all the way. <Source>

Supreme Court justices get increased security after Roe v. Wade leak: "The risk is real"

The Supreme Court is under lockdown with eight-foot fencing around the building, all entry points blocked to vehicles and more officers on patrol. It's a scene reminiscent of what Washington, D.C., looked like after the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

CBS News has learned the nine Supreme Court justices have been given extra security since general threats of violence against the justices have increased after a draft majority opinion suggesting the high court would overturn Roe v. Wade was leaked and published by Politico. The justices' home locations have been shared online and they're receiving more targeted personal phone threats.

Justice Samuel Alito, author of the draft majority opinion, canceled a scheduled appearance Thursday in Nashville, and the other justices are also cutting back on public events.

"The risk is real. The U.S. Marshals Service is there to provide protection for judges in the federal judiciary, but it's not enough," Republican Sen. John Cornyn said. <Source>

Pro-Abortion Group Publicizes Conservative Supreme Court Justices’ Home Addresses ahead of Planned Protests

In response to the Monday night leak of a draft Supreme Court opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade, a leftist group called Ruth Sent Us posted what it claims are the home addresses of the Court’s six conservative justices online in preparation for an organized “walk-by protest” set to take place outside the justices’ homes next week.

Ruth Sent Us plans to dispatch demonstrators to “the homes of the six extremist justices” on Wednesday, May 11, according to the group’s website.

“ANNOUNCING: Walk-by Wednesday, May 11, 2022! At the homes of the six extremist justices, three in Virginia and three in Maryland. If you’d like to join or lead a peaceful protest, let us know,” the website states. <Source>

Step Six: Declare an emergency.

Step Seven:  Take control of speech to keep the American public in the dark about progressive communist democrat activities.

Bottom line…

When will this happen? Probably between now and the time the leaked Supreme Court decision is officially released.

Ask yourself why the regime chose the Department of Homeland Security over the Federal Communications, where broadcast media rules are created? Note that the FCC is unarmed and does not have wide-ranging police powers and a stockpile of ammunition.

Can it be stopped? Don’t look to democrats or their propagandists in the mainstream media. Don’t look to squishy GOP members. Don’t look to Elon Musk, who will not assume day-to-day control over Twitter in time to reform their leftist culture.

Truth be told, the Dobbs decision will do nothing to abortion under existing state laws if released in its present form. If anything, your beef would be with your state legislators and not anyone on the federal ticket.

Count the number of times the words "woman," assault, and violence are mentioned over and over as a subliminal message.  

The progressive communist democrats are lying about what is contained in the leaked decision -- concocting their own version which they debate endlessly.

If you’ve been reading my emails over the past few years, you know that I believe we’re engaged in a global struggle against the rise of autocracy — and how critical it is that democracy wins, both at home and abroad. I wanted to tell you about my trip to Kyiv, Ukraine four days ago. Along with Speaker Pelosi and three of my House colleagues, we met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as the first Congressional delegation to meet with him since the outset of the war.

[OCS: Did you also meet with any oligarch grifters that fund the Democrat Party? Perhaps the Ukrainian arms dealer Igor Pasternak who hosted a fundraiser for you in 2013?

A little over two months ago, Russian President Vladimir Putin — in an act of reckless aggression against his democratic neighbor — launched an invasion of Ukraine.

[OCS: Since you were on the House Intelligence Committee, surely you knew about the State Department/CIA joint operation to seed the 2014 color revolution that overthrew Ukraine's pro-Russia government and the ongoing corruption that saw Ukraine's business interests compete against Russia? Perhaps one reason why Putin attacked Ukraine?]

This war has not gone as Putin expected. And that is largely because of the indomitable spirit and resilience of the Ukrainian people. Even in the relative calm of Kyiv, where Putin’s forces were repelled just weeks earlier, the cost of this war to the Ukrainian people was evident. As was the absolute necessity that we support Ukraine in its struggle for freedom.

[OCS: Did you notice that we may have been active participants in the conflict, providing intelligence, targeting, and “contractor” support to allow the Ukrainians to mount their defense?]

The war has led to a humanitarian and economic crisis throughout Ukraine. Cities have been leveled, millions of refugees have fled in advance of the Russian army, and those trapped in war zones in the East are struggling to survive. That’s why a delegation of us, led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi, went to Ukraine to meet with President Zelenskyy in Kyiv on Saturday.

Stephen, it was an experience I will never forget. In many areas of the city, the streets of Kyiv were buzzing with activity, as people tried to go about their lives, even as cruise missiles continued to fall on the city with an unnerving randomness. In other neighborhoods, there was an eerie quiet, and all over the city a curfew sent people indoors by sundown. Through it all, the Ukrainian people remain unbowed.

I had never met President Zelenskyy before seeing him in Kyiv under these extraordinary circumstances. But I was already well familiar with him before the war — he was, of course, the same Zelenskyy that I prosecuted Trump for trying to blackmail over military aid during the first impeachment trial. Like so many others, I have been awed by his courage and leadership. Underestimated by many, Putin most of all, he has proven himself to be a rare leader, rallying his nation under impossible circumstances. Meeting him in person, he projected a calm that was all the more remarkable for the dangerous and chaotic situation all around him.

We met with President Zelenskyy and his top advisors for three hours. We heard their requests for more humanitarian, economic, and military assistance. And we promised we would not only hear them, but also act on them as quickly as possible when we returned to Washington, DC.

[OCS: Congress Members do not individually have the authority to make diplomatic representations or conduct negotiations. It sounds like a gross violation of the Democrat’s favored Logan Act.]

The urgency is real, as the war enters a new phase and Ukraine needs the long range artillery and anti-ship munitions to hold the Russians at bay. Tragically, the war is far from over, as Ukrainians fight hour by hour to prevent Russia from advancing in the East and claiming more territory and lives. But we can help it come to a more rapid end, by supplying Ukraine with the assistance it needs, and further constricting the economic sanctions on Putin’s Russia. Ordinary Russians must be made to feel the murderous folly of their Kremlin dictator.

This war is just the latest front in the struggle against oppression around the world. Ukraine is a young democracy, and that was something that their authoritarian neighbor could not abide. This was an attack on Ukraine, yes, but also against the very idea that a free people get to chart their own destiny.

That’s why what happens in Ukraine matters. Right now, authoritarians are watching what is occurring, and wondering how the world will respond. So far, we have stood united and stronger than anyone expected. But the struggle is nowhere near the end - that much was clear in Kyiv. And what happens there will echo across Europe and the world, for decades to come.

[OCS: Bullshit! Primarily, this is the regime trying to play tough after surrendering Afghanistan and arming Islamic terrorists with some of the most advanced weapons in the world. And secondarily, I am not sure that the Democrats are not being blackmailed by our intelligence and law enforcement agencies and the Ukrainians who know where the bodies are buried and who sold the power of their office. A lousy look before the mid-term elections.]

We all have a role to play in protecting democracy at home and abroad. We became the arsenal of democracy is the 1930s and 1940s, and we must do so again today. I’m so thankful for what you’ve done and will continue to do.

What these agitator-led fools do not understand…

(1)  The enumerated powers of the United States Constitution and its provisions were crafted by our Founding Fathers to limit the power of the federal government and to protect the rights of both individuals and the States from the incursion of the federal government.

(2)  There is nothing in the United States Constitution that provides constitutional authority to the federal government to regulate the health of individual citizens, be it a mandate to purchase health insurance from a private company, the right to an abortion, or the power to mandate the use of therapeutic agents. Anything that suggests otherwise is bad constitutional law based on a tortured or nonsensical manipulation of semantic arguments.

(3)  What the leaked Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization contains is two-fold: one, after a well-reasoned and thorough analysis of previous arguments, the existingdecisions are not supported by the U.S. Constitution; and two, the power to consider or regulate such matters is reserved to the States or individual citizens per the Tenth Amendment. It does not overturn abortion, but returns the matter for resolution in State legislatures and Courts. Since all States have a form of legalized abortion, there is nothing to see here – move along.

So, why are these demonstrations taking place…

(1)  With the progressive communist democrats, those behind these staged demonstrations, is is all about political power. Dividing people into identity groups by race, sex, class, ethnicity, religion, etc. and then promising each group that only they will redress their real or imagined grievances in return for their efforts that will allow the progressives to gain or keep political power. Abortion is simply another dividing classification in their grab for political power.

(2)  Most people do not know, understand, or care to consider that abortion and birth control were major components of the eugenics movement to improve the genetic quality of the human population by eliminating defective or undesirable individuals. Even if it is officially released, the leaked decision has no effect on your healthcare within your chosen state!

BIDEN'S $33 BILLION UKRAINE RELIEF ASK IS DECEPTIVE

ADDENDUM A: DETAILED FUNDING REQUEST

  • Department of Defense (DOD)- $16.4 billion

While your children’s schools fall into disrepair, a gift to the teacher’s union…

This funding would provide time-limited cash and medical assistance, as well as targeted supports such as English language education, job training, trauma-informed mental health services, and resources for local school districts to support Ukrainians arriving in the United States, including through the Uniting for Ukraine program.

Increase farm subsidies…

The request provides incentives to increase U.S. production of food crops to make up for short falls in global food production due to the war in Ukraine by temporarily increasing marketing assistance loan rates for wheat, edible oilseeds including soybeans, and rice to encourage greater supply availability for humanitarian needs or export. The funding would also provide incentive payments through crop insurance to increase wheat production by encouraging US farmers to double crop wheat. 

Space Farce…

This request would provide $800,000 to the Department of Defense for Space Force personnel and operational support in response to the situation in Ukraine. Funding would be used for temporary duty costs, intelligence analysis, flying hours, maintenance, weapon system sustainment, and other unit support costs.

An $8.8 billion slush fund going to the Department of State which not only instigated the overthrow of the Putin-backed Ukraine regime but was complicit with much of the corruption – even hiding Vice President Joe Biden’s grifting and quid pro quo deals to impeach Donald Trump on the word of a Ukraine-linked faux whistleblower. Note that the funds can be spent outside Ukraine or for purposes of supporting certain domestic initiatives.

This request would provide $8.8 billion to the Department of State for economic support and assistance to the people of Ukraine and other affected countries, including direct budgetary support, as well as support for food security, democracy, anticorruption, cybersecurity, counter-disinformation, human rights, atrocity documentation, energy, and emergency infrastructure needs. Funds would also be used by the Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development for diplomatic and development support costs to reestablish the U.S. Embassy Kyiv. In addition, this request would authorize the transfer of these funds to the Assistance for Europe, Eurasia and Central Asia account and several other Department of State accounts to carry out these purposes. {page 41}

$500 million slush fund for the foreign European Bank for Reconstruction and Development…

This request would provide $500 million in contributions to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to address food security, energy, and other urgent needs in Ukraine. This funding would be used, in part, for a grant contribution to EBRD's Financial Intermediary and Private Enterprise Investment Special Fund, which would serve as a mechanism to channel donor contributions to address energy and food security needs in Ukraine. This would include support for small- and medium- sized agrobusinesses during the fall harvest and for natural gas purchases by the Ukrainian state energy company. {page 41}

Legalize defense contractor kickbacks…

This request would authorize Ukraine to utilize Foreign Military Financing Program funds appropriated in this Act and prior Acts to the Department of State to contract directly with U.S. companies to procure defense related materials which would facilitate the delivery of military assistance and security sector support. {page 48}

No approvals or authorizations are needed…

This request would provide the authority to reprogram funds appropriated in this Act and prior Acts making appropriations for the Department of State, foreign operations, and related programs for assistance to Ukraine without regard to any minimum amounts specifically designated in such Acts. This authority would provide the needed flexibility to match resources with evolving needs and decrease reliance on new appropriations. {Page 50}

Wealth redistribution of taxpayer funds…

This request would authorize the Department of the Treasury to lend up to $21 billion to the Resilience and Sustainability Trust (RST) and the Poverty Reduction and Growth Trust (PRGT), which would enable the International Monetary Fund to respond more effectively to the situation in Ukraine and promote a more secure global economy. Support for the RST would help countries reduce their reliance on Russian oil and gas over time, and support for the PRGT will support zero-interest loans to the world's poorest countries to help them cope with rising food insecurity, rising poverty, and debt vulnerabilities.  {Page 51}

The firm InfoUSA, headed by major Clinton backer Vinod Gupta, has placed Pelosi’s son, Paul Pelosi Jr., on its payroll – even though he has no experience in the company’s main business activities, NewsMax has learned.

As NewsMax previously reported, InfoUSA repeatedly rented marketing databases to unscrupulous persons who used the information to defraud the unsuspecting elderly, investigators found.

The company is also under fire in a shareholder lawsuit which alleges that Gupta is appropriating company funds for personal use and his political pet projects.

WE WILL NOW FIND OUT IF SUPREME COURT JUSTICE HAS THE COJONES TO BUCK THE DEMOCRATS AND THE MEDIA

In an unprecedented leak of a Supreme Court draft opinion on a monumental case, it appears that five Justices, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett, all voted with the majority opinion writer, Justice Sam Alito, to overturn the egregiously unconstitutional Roe v. Wade decision.

As expected, the court’s three progressives, Justices Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan, all appointed during Democratic administrations, dissented.

However, it appears that the wishy-washy Chief Justice John Roberts, who has affirmed clearly unconstitutional cases in the past,  has not yet voted—although his vote will not change the decision if we are to believe this first draft opinion.

Let us hope that the past is not a prologue…

Shelby County v. Holder, 570 U.S. 529 (2013). The Roberts Court's evisceration of the most important civil-rights legislation passed since Reconstruction was its lowest moment. The impact of the decision to reverse a key part of the Voting Rights Act is anti-democratic, allowing numerous illegal voter-suppression schemes to go into effect, and making it much more difficult to stop them. But what makes Shelby County especially egregious is its threadbare legal reasoning, which can't even be called "constitutional law." The Constitution unambiguously gives Congress the power to enforce the 15th Amendment. The "equal sovereignty of the states" doctrine that the chief justice used to trump Congress's explicit powers is a Roberts invention, and he has yet to identify any constitutional basis or Supreme Court precedent for it.

NFIB v. Sebelius, 567 U.S. 519 (2012). This case is generally seen as a liberal triumph because Chief Justice Roberts ultimately decided not to rule Barack Obama's signature domestic policy achievement unconstitutional. But its Medicaid expansion holding might actually belong at the top of the list. In terms of its policy impact, it would be hard to identify a worse decision in the history of the Supreme Court. Thousands of people a year will literally die because Roberts re-wrote the Medicaid expansion of the Affordable Care Act to make it much easier for states to opt out. Allowed Congress to force people to buy health insurance from private companies on the basis of the regulation being a “tax,” by implication allowing Congress do virtually anything with the taxing power that no independent power, even the expansive Commerce Clause, would allow.

Calvary Chapel v. Sisolak, 590 U.S. (2020). The United States Supreme Court denied a church’s request for an exemption from a state mandate limiting the size of worship services. Under the Governor’s edict, a 10-screen “multiplex” may host 500 moviegoers at any time. A casino, too, may cater to hundreds at once, with perhaps six people huddled at each craps table here and a similar number gathered around every roulette wheel there. Large numbers and close quarters are fine in such places. But churches, synagogues, and mosques are banned from admitting more than 50 worshippers—no matter how large the building, how distant the individuals, how many wear face masks, no matter the precautions at all.

Connick v. Thompson, 563 U.S. 51 (2011). The Supreme Court determined that a District Attorney’s office cannot be held vicariously liable for failing to properly train its prosecutors based on a single incident in which prosecutors suppressed evidence favorable to the defendant. A 22-year-old African American father of two was awarded $14 million after serving close to 20 years for a murder he didn’t commit and in which the prosecutor withheld exculpatory evidence.

Arizona Free Enterprise Club's Freedom Club PAC v. Bennett, 564 U.S. 721 (2011). The Court held that Arizona's matching funds scheme substantially burdens political speech and is not sufficiently justified by a compelling interest to survive First Amendment scrutiny.

The Court’s refusal to hear a Pennsylvania election challenge would have forced Pennsylvania to adhere to existing state and federal election laws. This would have eliminated many of the procedural defects which permitted an election to be unduly influenced by illegal actions. With no public comment, the justices refused to grant a review of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruling.

JUST MUSING ON THIS MAY MORN

Jen Psaki, the Regime’s Minister of Disinformation

There is no doubt in my mind that the title of liar-in-chief belongs to the White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, and assured by her comments on the Department of Homeland Security’s Disinformation Governance Board.

Q    And then, on another topic: Does the President know that DHS is putting together this Disinformation Governance Board?

MS. PSAKI:  Well, Peter, I think I would note — and I’m not sure if this has been in your reporting yet — but this is a continuation of work that was done under the prior administration — under the Trump administration — to take steps to address disinformation, address the use of disinformation in helping smugglers prompt the movement of more migrants across — to the border.

[OCS:  The regime’s standard go-to – blame it on Donald Trump or claim it occurred under the Trump Administration. As for smugglers, they did not have to resort to a disinformation campaign because the Democrat Party, the Democrat-controlled House, the Democrat Governors, and the corrupt United Nations (channeling U.S. funds) rolled out the welcome mat with incentives (health, housing, welfare). promises (no vetting, no prosecution, future citizenship), and an widely-advertised open-border policy.]

I would note that the first example given in the announcement about this was: DHS has worked to understand how, quote, “misinformation is spread by human smugglers that prey on vulnerable populations attempting to migrate to the United States.”

[OCS: What is there to understand? Notice the rhetoric – the switch from illegal aliens to “vulnerable populations.” Why are they not seeking asylum in the first non-hostile country the invade? Also note the switch between misinformation and disinformation as they avoid the use of the word propaganda, both foreign and domestic.]

So, for anyone who’s out there who may be concerned about the increase in migrants to the border: This is the kind of apparatus that’s working to address disinformation —

[OCS: The answer to the increase in illegal aliens, not legal migrants, is to control the border to enforce the country’s sovereignty. Yes, it’s as simple as that.]

MS. PSAKI:  — and, again, continuing the work of the Department of Homeland Security in 2020, something we’re currently applauding.

Q    But just in terms of what the President wants out of this, does he want the people on this board to start censoring information that is not helpful to him? 

MS. PSAKI:  Well, let me be clear on exactly what this board does or what the work they’re doing does.  And in their announcement, which is publicly available on the Department of Homeland Security website for anyone to read, it says, quote, “The primary mission is to establish best practices to ensure that efforts to understand and respond to disinformation are done in ways that protect privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties, and the right to free speech.”

[OCS:  There is nothing to understand. The regime needs to quit lying, spewing partisan propaganda, and uphold the Constitution’s First Amendment. No additional bureaucracy or cost needed.]

Q    But — okay.  There’s this woman, Nina Jankowicz, who is going to be in charge of the board.  She has said that she thinks the Hunter Biden laptop is Russian disinformation.  So, should we look forward in the future to her censoring Internet traffic about the Hunter Biden laptop? 

[OCS:  Jankowicz may be a deliberate distraction – a radical partisan operative who can be replaced by a less radical political operative while keeping the Disinformation Governance Board structure, authority, and mission to support the regime. PSAKI:  I think I noted exactly what the objective of the board is, including continuing the work of the prior administration.  And the woman you noted has extensive experience and has done extensive work addressing disinformation.  She has testified before Congress, testified in Europe.  She has done — worked closely with the Ukrainians and has unique expertise, especially at this moment we’re facing.

[OCS: Again, mention the prior administration. Yes, she has experience with disinformation – especially on behalf of the corrupt Ukraine government. Funny how everything in the regime seems to revolve around corruption in Ukraine?]

Q. Would it just be factchecks, publishing guidance, or, you know, what would Americans actually see when it comes to the work of this board?

MS. PSAKI:  It’s not — the mandate is not to adjudicate what is true or false online or — or otherwise.  It will operate in a nonpartisan and apolitical manner.

[OCS: That in any regime bureaucracy, headed by a rank partisan political operative, the functioning would be nonpartisan and apolitical is perhaps the biggest lie of all – worthy of Psaki’s upcoming job with MSNBC, where the lies go in before the lights come on.]

  Russians, Russians, Russians… 

After a decade of failures under corrupt, partisan leadership, can you trust the FBI when they justify their actions by pointing to Russia? Even today, FBI Director Christopher Wray is less than forthcoming, withholding or slow-walking documents requested by Congressional oversight committees and refusing to hold FBI employees accountable for their corrupt acts.

FBI: Russian cyber threat fueled almost 2M warrantless searches of Americans’ data in 2021

  • The threat of cyberattack from Russia fueled more than half of the FBI’s 3.39 million warrantless searches of Americans’ data last year, according to a government report.

[OCS: One would think it was those white supremacist terrorists that represent the greatest threat to the homeland? Or the Communist Chinese infiltration of America, especially in California where the spies might outnumber all of the Bureaus personnel? Or North Korean Hackers?]

  • The warrantless searches, legal under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, were up sharply from approximately 1.32 million reported in 2020, according to the report, published Friday by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

[OCS: The leadership of the FISA Court appears to be corrupt as the Court refuses to investigate or punish known frauds on the Court by FBI personnel. It should be abolished or restructured.]

  • The bureau also changed how it counted the search queries, making it unclear whether the increase in searches necessarily means more surveillance of Americans.

[OCS: Hiding something? Change the methodology and metrics to disguise or distort the truth? A favored ploy of the regime.]

  • “In order to safeguard the privacy and civil liberties of the public we are sworn to protect, we have made changes to our systems and processes, and will not hesitate to make additional updates as necessary, to ensure we protect all Americans’ privacy and civil liberties while fulfilling our dual law enforcement and intelligence mission each and every day,” a senior FBI official said in a statement.

[OCS:  We have made changes to “ensure” better protections of those we purport to protect.]

  • The internal review of the FBI’s domestic operations, however, previously showed numerous rules violations. Agents violated FBI rules at least 747 times in 18 months while conducting sensitive investigations involving politicians, candidates, religious groups, news media and others, according to a 2019 FBI audit first reported by The Washington Times.

[OCS:  These investigations are based on statistical sampling that should represent the universe being sampled with a high degree of probability. Shoulda, woulda, coulda?]

  • The FBI has said it made changes to its agents’ training for those domestic investigations and called the errors unacceptable.

[OCS: Re-training and re-writing the manual is always a good ploy, especially with older personnel who ignore most training.]

Who is driving Harvard’s anti-Israel movement?

ISRAEL-JORDANThe Harvard Crimson, the student newspaper at Harvard University, has endorsed the anti-Semitic, anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement promoted by Harvard’s Palestine Solidarity Committee, anti-Zionist activist Noam Chomsky, and various individuals supported by communist front groups.

But, I can’t help but wonder if the BDS movement is backed or funded by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its ruler King Abdullah II.

Historical antecedents leave little doubt that those who reconfigured the region had the Transjordan region allocated to the Arabs, who later self-identified as Palestinians. 

The 1922 Palestinian Mandate was a League of Nations agreement for the British administration of the territories of Palestine and Transjordan, including both sides of the Jordan River, both of which had been conceded by the Ottoman Empire following the end of World War I in 1918. It anticipated that the area occupied by Jordan would belong to the Arabs, who now self-identify as Palestinians, and the remaining territory would become the Jewish homeland. In essence, the land re-captured by Israel in the various wars already belonged to the Jews and, therefore, cannot be viewed as occupied lands.

The map would show that the lands west of the Jordan River, including the West Bank and Gaza Strip, should be Israeli territory.

Ask yourself, cui bono? Who benefits?

THE CONSTITUTION IS REDEEMED IN THE LEAKED COURT DRAFT OPINION ON ROE V. WADE?

There is little doubt in my mind that the deliberate leak of a draft copy of a possible Supreme Court decision could only have been done by partisan operatives to fuel the debate in time for the upcoming 2022 election cycle, which will see all House Members and one-third of the Senate Members standing for reelection.

In reality, I can think of nothing other than Macbeth’s quote, "It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."

Before you get excited, let us consider a few facts…

(1)  Nothing in the U.S. Constitution provides authority for the Supreme Court to set a national abortion policy. Under the Constitution’s Tenth Amendment, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” The decision relating to abortion either belongs to the individual states or to “We the People.”

(2)  Roe v. Wade was a flawed ruling, technically unconstitutional, and made up of whole cloth, as cited in Justice Harry Blackmun’s majority opinion that claimed that the “liberty” protected by the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment includes a "right of privacy” that is “broad enough to encompass” a right to abortion.

(3)  Roe v. Wade was replaced by Planned Parenthood v. Casey, another Supreme Court decision that found the right to abortion was based on an undue burden theory that states a legislature cannot make a particular law that is too burdensome or restrictive of one's fundamental rights – which assumes that the right to abortion is a fundamental right.

(4)  If anything, the actual issue is one of competing interests and timing, which demands that two essential questions be answered: one, when does the fetus become a constitutionally-protected being; and, two, how do you judge or apportion the competing interests of the two parties, essentially the right to life versus the health and welfare of the pregnant woman? Inherent in the answer are the competing and compelling interests of biological science, religion, and free will, a person's capacity to choose between different possible courses of action unimpeded by any particular influence.

(5)  Overturning the Roe v. Wade decision as unconstitutional is meaningless except as a political rallying point for partisan fundraising and voter appeals. Some are already saying that the leak was the left's attempt to intimidate the justices into changing a ruling that was widely anticipated.

We do not pretend to know how our political system or society will respond to today's decision overruling Roe and Casey. And even if we could foresee what will happen, we would have no authority to let that knowledge influence our decision. We can only do our job, which is to interpret the law, apply longstanding principles of stare decisis, and decide this case accordingly.

We therefore hold that the Constitution does not confer a right to abortion. Roe and Casey must be overruled, and the authority to regulate abortion must be returned to the people and their elected representatives.

We must now decide what standard will govern if state abortion regulations undergo constitutional challenge and whether the law before us satisfies the appropriate standard.

Under our precedents, rational-basis review is the appropriate standard for such challenges. As we have explained, procuring an abortion is not a fundamental constitutional right because such a right has no basis in the Constitution's text or in our Nation's history.

It follows that the States may regulate abortion for legitimate reasons, and when such regulations are challenged under the Constitution, courts cannot "substitute their social and economic beliefs for the judgment of legislative bodies."

We end this opinion where we began. Abortion presents a profound moral question. The Constitution does not prohibit the citizens of each State from regulating or prohibiting abortion. Roe and Casey arrogated that authority. We now overrule those decisions and return that authority to the people and their elected representatives. The judgment of the Fifth Circuit is reversed, and the case is remanded for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.

Bottom line…

Regardless of your position on abortion, the U.S. Constitution has been redeemed, the correct standards applied, and the courage of the Justices that might vote to affirm the final decision noted.

Today is a glorious day for the Constitution and the United States of America.

We are a little less screwed today.
