JEN PSAKI TO SPREAD LIES AT MSNBC?

Working your way to the bottom…

Jensaki-lfl

I find it surprising that several media outlets are reporting that Jen Psaki, the 34th and current White House press secretary, will be leaving the White House this Spring and joining cable failure MSNBC, a crapshow of progressive communist democrats where the narrative replaces news. One need only witness the “Russia Rachel” Maddow show to know you are in an alternative universe crafted from the prevailing regime narrative.

It appears that Spring cleaning is underway at the White House as the rats are jumping Biden’s sinking ship.

Perhaps MSNBC will challenge ABC’s “The View” with a program hosted by Liar/Leaker Adam Schiff, GOP traitors Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, Jen Psaki, and using Mitch McConnell to channel Whoopi Goldberg.

Bottom line…

You can bet Psaki's narratives will feature victimhood and suggest bigger government is the answer,

We are so screwed.

WILL OBAMA PULL THE TRIGGER ON JOE BIDEN's PRESIDENCY?

Few rational observers doubt that Joe Biden’s presidency is a continuation, a third term if you will, of Obama’s presidency and that Biden was never more than a corrupt, empty vessel that could be easily manipulated by the Obamacon handlers surrounding him.

Biden has proven to be such a clear and present danger to America, as witnessed by America’s rapid decline, as to demand that the 25th Amendment be invoked to remove him from office.

Consider the prescience of the late radio icon Rush Limbaugh, who, on December 15th, 2020, commented on a Biden public appearance …

Rush-1

RUSH: I don’t know what it was, but it was not forceful. It was not a top-to-bottom takedown. It was not a decisive rebuke. It was nothing more than phlegm and clearing the throat and coughing. But, you see, they [the mainstream media and progressive communist democrats] have to overlook that. They have to ignore all of that. So what are they gonna do? They cannot be critical of Biden. They will not be critical of Biden. They’re gonna prop up Biden until, until — I’m gonna tell you, folks, I think we’re seeing enough information on the Bidens now to safely say that Biden will serve at the pleasure of Barack Obama.

If Obama gives the green light to Democrats to take Biden out, there will be ample evidence that Biden has lied about his knowledge his family was selling his name and office with his permission, and if that’s in fact the case, then there’s likely unreported money that will be found. The fake news media will temporarily become hard news media if the decision is made that Biden has to step down. Until that time, they will be covering for Biden, they’ll be making excuses for Biden, they’ll be ignoring all the negatives. You wait and see. And then watch what happens to their ratings when that happens.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: No, no. I really think Obama’s running the show. Obama’s been running the Democrat show since 2016. He ran the operation against Trump. He ran the Russia sting. He ran the Russian coup.

He ran everything, and he’s now running this. And as long as Biden accomplishes or does what Obama wants, then he’ll be fine. But I do believe that it will be up to Obama, Biden’s fate. We’ll see.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Well, we know that Obama was pulling the strings for the four years of the Russian coup. We know that Obama was behind all of it. We know that Biden was part of a it. We know that Biden and Obama ran that show. I don’t think Obama has given up any control over the Democrat Party whatsoever. I mean, how the hell does Biden become the Democrat nominee in the first place and then get elected president? How the hell does that happen, of all people, Joe Biden, who happened to be Obama’s veep. That’s it.

Biden has never run for office successfully outside the Senate in his life. He has sought the presidency numerous times and never got past the early primaries. Now all of a sudden, bammo, not only is he the nominee, now he becomes president. I do believe, I really mean it, I think that Biden serves at the pleasure of Barack Obama. We’ll find out. It isn’t gonna be long. <Source>

Bottom line…

What now?

Awareness is seeping into ordinary Americans, who may support the progressive communist democrats. At the gas pump, at the grocery store, at the kitchen table when paying bills – and certainly on April 18th when taxes are due, we see nothing but rampaging inflation. America is waking up to the fact that they have been played by Obama, the Manchurian candidate who rose from a well-obscured background to near dictator of the United States. Aided and abetted by a cadre of activists and useful idiots who had been preparing and indoctrinating America since the 1940s.

Will the GOP serve as a bulwark against the tide of tyranny?

From what I can tell, the GOP is all about finding a narrative they can sell to the American public to regain political power and less about finding the way back to our constitutional republic. Will they have the cojones to challenge the media moguls, tech tyrants, and politically active billionaires who are, in reality, American oligarchs?

We are living in troubling times, and it appears that men who would fight to protect their God, Nation, family, and community are being neutered – castrated by progressive communist democrats and their radical feminists and alphabet people.

Will we see a leader emerge from the pack who can unite America and set us on the road to recovery? Perhaps? But not without a purge of the embedded Obamacons and other assorted progressive communist democrats.

We are so screwed.

THE RAT-FINK WHO RUNS BLACKROCK

Blackrock, the largest asset management firm on the planet with over $9 trillion in assets, is an activist investor led by a globalist, forcing corporate boards to bend to their will or risk being ousted or financially disadvantaged.

Blackrock CEO Larry Fink Says He Believes In “Forcing Behaviors”

"Behaviors Are Going To Have To Change And This Is One Thing We Are Asking Companies, You Have To Force Behaviors And At Blackrock, We Are Forcing Behaviors."

Consider some of the bullpucky in Fink’s letter to CEOs…

LARRY

[EXCERPT FROM] LARRY FINK’S 2022 LETTER TO CEOS: The Power of Capitalism

Dear CEO,

Each year I make it a priority to write to you on behalf of BlackRock’s clients, who are shareholders in your company. The majority of our clients are investing to finance retirement. Their time horizons can span decades.

The financial security we seek to help our clients achieve is not created overnight. It is a long-term endeavor, and we take a long-term approach. That is why, for the past decade, I have written to you, as CEOs and Chairs of the companies our clients are invested in. I write these letters as a fiduciary for our clients who entrust us to manage their assets – to highlight the themes that I believe are vital to driving durable long-term returns and to helping them reach their goals.

When my partners and I founded BlackRock as a startup 34 years ago, I had no experience running a company. Over the past three decades, I’ve had the opportunity to talk with countless CEOs and to learn what distinguishes truly great companies. Time and again, what they all share is that they have a clear sense of purpose; consistent values; and, crucially, they recognize the importance of engaging with and delivering for their key stakeholders. This is the foundation of stakeholder capitalism.

Stakeholder capitalism is not about politics. It is not a social or ideological agenda. It is not “woke.” It is capitalism, driven by mutually beneficial relationships between you and the employees, customers, suppliers, and communities your company relies on to prosper. This is the power of capitalism.

[OCS: This is a bald-faced lie! As a matter of corporate governance, a corporation’s board of directors has a fiduciary duty to its owners, its shareholders. To the extent a company serves its customers, treats employees fairly, satisfies its financing sources, and benefits the community – it is all a function of yielding an acceptable return on shareholder investment. To the extent you allow others with no fiduciary duty to impact the corporation's governance is becoming extremely problematic. In many cases, stakeholder capitalism is often a euphemism for an economic system that is primarily capitalistic but accepts some degree of government control over the governance and assets to benefit the state itself, its special interests, or some social engineering purpose undertaken by the regime.]

In today’s globally interconnected world, a company must create value for and be valued by its full range of stakeholders in order to deliver long-term value for its shareholders. It is through effective stakeholder capitalism that capital is efficiently allocated, companies achieve durable profitability, and value is created and sustained over the long-term. Make no mistake, the fair pursuit of profit is still what animates markets; and long-term profitability is the measure by which markets will ultimately determine your company’s success.

[OCS: This poses a problem. To what extent does a corporation sacrifice its assets to benefit non-owners at the direction of non-fiduciaries?]

At the foundation of capitalism is the process of constant reinvention – how companies must continually evolve as the world around them changes or risk being replaced by new competitors. The pandemic has turbocharged an evolution in the operating environment for virtually every company. It’s changing how people work and how consumers buy. It’s creating new businesses and destroying others. Most notably, it’s dramatically accelerating how technology is reshaping life and business. Innovative companies looking to adapt to this environment have easier access to capital to realize their visions than ever before. And the relationship between a company, its employees, and society is being redefined.

[OCS: Notice what is missing. Yes, the pandemic has accelerated change, but it has also accelerated a malignant, out-of-control, and metastasizing government influence. A one-party-dominated government that has corporatized mainstream media as partisan propagandists and actively encouraged censorship and cancellation of platform access and access to certain critical financial and business services.]

COVID-19 has also deepened the erosion of trust in traditional institutions and exacerbated polarization in many Western societies. This polarization presents a host of new challenges for CEOs. Political activists, or the media, may politicize things your company does. They may hijack your brand to advance their own agendas. In this environment, facts themselves are frequently in dispute, but businesses have an opportunity to lead. Employees are increasingly looking to their employer as the most trusted, competent, and ethical source of information – more so than government, the media, and NGOs.

[OCS: The erosion of trust is not due to COVID-19, it is attributable to the bald-faced lies of government, the mainstream media, and other partisan actors. Those who redefine long-established concepts, perverting language, and telling you to ignore objective truth in favor of a mutable narrative. Brands cannot be hijacked if CEOs and others refuse to play the game – ignoring the most vocal of the activists who, in reality, represents an insignificant portion of your customers or population as a whole. It is a lack of courage on behalf of “go along to get along” CEOs and weak boards that prioritize their cushy jobs over their fiduciary duties and allegiance to shareholders. Commitment to your shareholders trumps self-aggrandizing leadership on behalf of partisan interests.]

That is why your voice is more important than ever. It’s never been more essential for CEOs to have a consistent voice, a clear purpose, a coherent strategy, and a long-term view. Your company’s purpose is its north star in this tumultuous environment. The stakeholders your company relies upon to deliver profits for shareholders need to hear directly from you – to be engaged and inspired by you. They don’t want to hear us, as CEOs, opine on every issue of the day, but they do need to know where we stand on the societal issues intrinsic to our companies’ long-term success.

Putting your company’s purpose at the foundation of your relationships with your stakeholders is critical to long-term success. Employees need to understand and connect with your purpose; and when they do, they can be your staunchest advocates. Customers want to see and hear what you stand for as they increasingly look to do business with companies that share their values. And shareholders need to understand the guiding principle driving your vision and mission. They will be more likely to support you in difficult moments if they have a clear understanding of your strategy and what is behind it.

A new world of work

No relationship has been changed more by the pandemic than the one between employers and employees. The quit rate in the US and the UK is at historic highs. And in the US, we are seeing some of the highest wage growth in decades. Workers seizing new opportunities is a good thing: It demonstrates their confidence in a growing economy.

[OCS: We have never seen any nation destroy its economy by incentivizing workers to stay at home by providing generous unemployment benefits that may exceed an employee’s salary at work. By demanding wage controls that see a burger-flipper earning $34,000 plus benefits because politicians are pandering to low-skill workers, often illegal aliens, with large families. This is an unwarranted mass redistribution of wealth.]

While turnover and rising pay are not a feature of every region or sector, employees across the globe are looking for more from their employer – including more flexibility and more meaningful work. As companies rebuild themselves coming out of the pandemic, CEOs face a profoundly different paradigm than we are used to. Companies expected workers to come to the office five days a week. Mental health was rarely discussed in the workplace. And wages for those on low and middle incomes barely grew.

That world is gone.

Workers demanding more from their employers is an essential feature of effective capitalism. It drives prosperity and creates a more competitive landscape for talent, pushing companies to create better, more innovative environments for their employees – actions that will help them achieve greater profits for their shareholders. Companies that deliver are reaping the rewards. Our research shows that companies who forged strong bonds with their employees have seen lower levels of turnover and higher returns through the pandemic.

[OCS: Workers are demanding more – because of the reduction in purchasing power due to inflation, and the malignant leadership of our nation is crippling our economy, destroying energy sources driving industrialization, over-taxing, and over-regulating everything that fosters a vibrant free market. Free-market capitalism is gone. We are becoming a nation of asset-poor leasees.]

Companies not adjusting to this new reality and responding to their workers do so at their own peril. Turnover drives up expenses, drives down productivity, and erodes culture and corporate memory. CEOs need to be asking themselves whether they are creating an environment that helps them compete for talent. At BlackRock we are doing the same: working with our own employees to navigate this new world of work.

Bottom line…

For those social justice warriors who buy into Fink’s “do as I say, not as I do” bullshit, consider Larry Fink’s outrageous income. Is Fink really worth between $29 and 35 million dollars a year? Who is this asswipe, a global elitist who sits on the Board of Trustees of Klaus Schwab’s anti-America World Economic Forum, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and affiliated with several progressive communist democrat organizations? Fink backed Hillary Clinton in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and was expected to head the Treasury Department if Clinton became President.

My messages: CEOs -- Don’t be a rat-fink and go woke AND BROKE!

We are so screwed.

EVERYDAY SURVEILLANCE?

This is not an April Fool's joke...

ICOP

Most people, especially those who are law-abiding, rarely consider the inroads made by the regime’s surveillance state and the extent of their data collection activities. So I was surprised that the United States Postal Service was conducting surveillance on protests and other matters having little or nothing to do with the delivery of mail and protecting the sanctity of your communications.

Cov-hdr

Inspector General: Postal inspectors’ spying overstepped law enforcement power.

What We Found

We determined that certain proactive searches iCOP conducted using an open-source intelligence tool from February to April 2021 exceeded the Postal Inspection Service’s law enforcement authority. Furthermore, we could not corroborate whether other work analysts completed from October 2018 through June 2021 was legally authorized. The Postal Inspection Service’s activities must have an identified connection to the mail, postal crimes, or the security of Postal Service facilities or personnel (postal nexus) prior to commencing.

However, the keywords used for iCOP in the proactive searches did not include any terms with a postal nexus. Further, the postal nexus was not documented in 122 requests and 18 reports due to a lack of requirements in the program’s procedures.

The keywords iCOP used for one of the profiles during this time did not include any terms related to the mail, postal crimes, or security of postal facilities or personnel. Examples of the keywords include “protest,” “attack,” and “destroy.” According to the program manager, iCOP intentionally omitted terms that would indicate a postal nexus in an effort to broadly identify threats that could then be assessed for any postal nexus. <Source>

[OCS: This excuse is ludicrous because it is analogous to searching a dump to discover the contents of an individual’s trashcan.]

Most people have no clue…

How many people are familiar with the little-known “Informed Delivery by USPS program? “A program that would allow postal patrons access to the electronic collection of your mail’s address collection. That’s right! The government captures information (metadata) from much of the mail flowing through the system. This is different from address tracking information from requested tracking receipts.

Id-1

Yes, you can now see what is sent to you before delivery! The U.S. Postal Service will send digital images of incoming letters on days mail is delivered -- and the service, called Informed Delivery, is free.

I wonder how long it might be before the quasi-governmental privatized Postal Service decides to sell the information to advertisers and sponsor paid advertising campaigns to generate revenue.

Bottom line…

“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”  A Latin phrase translated as “Who will guard the guards themselves?” is attributed to the  Roman poet Juvenal from his Satires (Satire VI, lines 347-348).

The fundamental flaw in most Inspector General programs is that they have investigatory powers limited to the confines of their agency and cannot pursue inter-agency investigations – and are limited to interviewing only current employees. IGs can suggest fixes but do not have the power to enforce their recommendations and can only make criminal referrals to the hyper-politicized Department of Justice, where they often languish and die.

We are so screwed.

MEDIA MOGULS AND TECH TYRANTS BUYING LEGISLATORS TO BYPASS ANTI-TRUST LAWS

Work-x

Once again, we see big companies purchasing legislators to empower large mainstream media and secure an advantage over smaller media outlets and independent content creators.

Size matters…

(2) NEWS CONTENT CREATOR.—The term ‘‘news content creator’’ means—

(A) any print, broadcast, or digital news organization that—

(i) has a dedicated professional editorial staff that creates and distributes original news and related content concerning local, national, or international matters of public interest on at least a weekly basis; and

(ii) is marketed through subscriptions, advertising, or sponsorship; and

(B)

(i) provides original news and related content with the editorial content consisting of not less than 25 percent current news and related content; or

(ii) broadcasts original news and related content pursuant to a license granted by the Federal Communications Commission under title III of the Communications Act of 1934 (47 U.S.C. 301 et seq.).

(3) ONLINE CONTENT DISTRIBUTOR.—The term ‘‘online content distributor’’ means any entity that—

(A) operates a website or other online service that displays, distributes, or directs users to news articles, works of journalism, or other content on the internet that is generated by third party news content creators; and

(B) has not fewer than 1,000,000,000 monthly active users, in the aggregate, of all of its websites or online services worldwide.

CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and other major media companies to form an alliance to collectively bargain with Big Tech platforms to promote and, more importantly, protect and limit their  content

Once again, the media moguls and tech tyrants unite to legislatively strengthen their control over what a user may discover, see or hear.

And, not so coincidentally, protect the big social media platforms from being broken up due to their quasi-monopolies in today’s information marketplace.

Who are the initial GOP sell-outs of this progressive communist democrat legislation?

S.673 - Journalism Competition and Preservation Act of 2021

This bill creates a four-year safe harbor from antitrust laws for print, broadcast, or digital news companies to collectively negotiate with online content distributors (e.g., social media companies) regarding the terms on which the news companies' content may be distributed by online content distributors.

Sponsor:

Sen. Klobuchar, Amy [D-MN]

Cosponsors:

  • Sen. Booker, Cory A. [D-NJ]
  • Sen. Whitehouse, Sheldon [D-RI]
  • Sen. Feinstein, Dianne [D-CA]
  • Sen. Graham, Lindsey [R-SC]
  • Sen. Collins, Susan M. [R-ME]
  • Sen. Paul, Rand [R-KY]
  • Sen. Kennedy, John [R-LA]
  • Sen. Lummis, Cynthia M. [R-WY]

(b) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.—A news content creator may not be held liable under the antitrust laws for engaging in negotiations with any other news content creator during the 4-year period beginning on the date of enactment of this Act to collectively withhold content from, or negotiate with, an online content distributor regarding the terms on which the news content of the news content creator may be distributed by the online content distributor, if—

(1) the negotiations with the online content distributor—

(A) are not limited to price;
(B) are nondiscriminatory as to similarly situated news content creators;
(C) directly relate to the quality, accuracy, attribution or branding, and interoperability of news; and
(D) pertain to terms that would be available to all news content creators;

(2) the coordination between the news content creators is directly related to and reasonably necessary for negotiations with an online content distributor that are otherwise consistent with this Act; and

(3) the negotiations do not involve any person that is not a news content creator or an online content distributor.

Bottom line…

This is only part of the source consolidation and censorship/cancellation push. The next part is the modification of copyright legislation.

Why should some of the big social media players like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram be given an antitrust exemption after lying to the public about the Russia hoax, the Ukraine hoax, the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop information, and, most of all, the manipulation of the COVID-19 narrative and cheaper alternative therapeutics?

Enough is enough!

We will be so screwed if we allow our bought-and-paid-for politicians to ignore their constituencies and pander to the special interests as important election cycles approach.

THE GOP. THE WASHINGTON GENERALS OF POLITICS?

A reader asked me what was wrong with the GOP and why did the establishment wing of the GOP look and sound like Democrats?

This is the best analogy I can think of…  GOP-METAPHOR

How many people "of a certain age" remember the Washington Generals, often the faux opposition to the greatest basketball exhibition team ever, the Harlem Globetrotters, and its outstanding "star player" Meadowlark Lemon.

"While the Globetrotters play tricks and spectacular displays of skill for the crowd, the Generals attempt to play a 'normal' game of basketball. The Generals' games involve playing genuine basketball at times, but also not interfering in the Globetrotters' tricks. Almost every game has ended in a resounding win for the Globetrotters. Despite their losses, the Generals' roster consists of relatively competent players."

So it seems with the GOP. With the progressive communist democrats running up the score, and the “loyal opposition” making suitable noises and pocketing their share of the gate.

We are so screwed.

THE FEDS ARE COMING FOR THE HOUSING MARKET

They screwed up healthcare, the energy industry, finance, and now they are attempting to increase control over the housing market…

Pave-cover

Biased from the beginning…

It is impossible to believe that any effort headed by three black, radical, racist, progressive communist democrat Obamacons whose Marxist viewpoint demands divisions between whites (oppressors) and minorities (Oppressed victims) can produce an unbiased report useful for anything other than demanding more government regulation of the housing market.

PAVE-LEADERS-HDR

The real estate valuation industry…

Residential real estate valuations are produced either by automated systems using recently-sold comparables or a deeper appraisal by an individual appraiser who looks at other factors in addition to recent comparables. It is a disjointed industry rife with fraud. Like the corrupt rating agencies, the appraisers are typically selected and approved by the mortgage originator or lender. The trick is to secure the highest appraisal supporting the highest loan – with the loan risk passed from the mortgage originator to an investor in the secondary market as the mortgage is securitized. Underwriting criteria and appraisals will be more conservative in the case of a portfolio lender who will own the loan.

But no matter how an appraisal is produced, there is an underlying truth: the immediate area where the property is located pretty much determines its value. Therefore, it would be expected that a property in a decaying inner-city location situated on a block with ramshackle properties will not and cannot be accurately appraised to support higher loan risk levels on a racial basis.

Therefore, it appears that the federal government wants to take over the appraisal industry to ensure diversity, inclusion, and equity – an apt acronym, DIE!

The Fudge Report -- also known as the “Action Plan to Advance Property Appraisal and Valuation Equity”…

Excerpts -- Executive Summary

This Action Plan to Advance Property Appraisal and Valuation Equity (PAVE) (“the Action Plan”) is the blueprint for how all Americans can benefit fairly from the equity built through homeownership.

Specifically, this Action Plan:

  1. Outlines the historical role of racism in the valuation of residential property;
  2. Examines the various forms of bias that can appear in residential property valuation practices; and
  3. Describes affirmative steps that federal agencies will take to advance equity in the appraisal process, and outlines further recommendations that government and industry stakeholders can initiate.

New studies validate appraisal bias in the U.S. housing market

Researchers have observed a market value gap between majority-Black and majority-white neighborhoods for decades. On average, homes in majority-Black neighborhoods are valued at less than half of those in neighborhoods with few or no Black residents. Statistical analyses show that accounting for neighborhood and property characteristics and amenities—such as the age of the property or its proximity to public transportation—does not explain the entire disparity. Recent research has identified appraisals as one of the drivers of the gap.

[OCS: There is little doubt in my mind that flawed statistical analysis by progressive-biased researchers produces flawed studies. Drive through almost any poor neighborhood, black or white, and you see mostly decaying homes in decaying neighborhoods where the funds needed to maintain or improve the property are allocated to life’s necessities. In some areas, vandals will deliberately deface freshly painted surfaces or destroy property improvements – sort of a visual statement of equity or jealousy.]

New research from Freddie Mac (2021) using census data finds 12.5 percent of appraisals for home purchases in majority-Black neighborhoods and 15.4 percent in majority-Latino neighborhoods result in a value below the contract price (the amount a buyer is willing to pay for the property, compared to only 7.4 percent of appraisals in pre-dominantly white neighborhoods. This research corroborates prior observations that a neighborhood’s average appraised property value tends to decrease as the share of historically marginalized populations increases.

[OCS: Both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are two corrupt quasi-governmental, Democrat-created, and dominated institutions that control the residential loan market. Like the CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau), they are highly politicized and are aligned with the progressive communist democrat agenda.]

The research the progressive communist democrats ignore…

The proximate cause of racial disparities can be correlated to the government’s misguided and mismanaged efforts to address actual or imagined disparities using welfare programs, school quality initiatives, criminal justice reform, developer-driven special interest urban renewal, and public housing creation and management. All of which are rife with corruption and incompetence.

Consider the progressive communist democrat’s efforts to destroy the nuclear family when it is a statistical fact that married couples have higher homeownership rates than single individuals -- regardless of race. Perhaps the government should incentivize marriage in minority communities and promote individualism and financial responsibility.

A blatant power grab to control the housing market...

This flawed report will drive the House Financial Services Committee hearings, under the Chairmanship of the corrupt, disgraced Maxine Waters (D-CA),  on the proposed Fair Appraisal and Inequity Reform Act, which would hand over the nation’s entire home valuation process to a new agency known as the FVA (Federal Valuation Agency.)

Bottom line…

The goal of the progressive communist democrats is three-fold: to extend the government’s control over the housing markets through valuations and loans, to financially compel citizens to migrate to easily-controlled dense inner-city population centers with freedom-limiting mass transit, and to eliminate private property. A model developed in Beijing and Moscow.

How many people watch large corporations like Black Rock buying up swaths of real estate through real estate investment companies to create continuing rental cash flows?

Letting the government control the housing market is as dangerous as letting them control healthcare, the energy industry, the financial industry, and food production.

We are so screwed.

GUN CONTROL: THE GRIFT CONTINUES

FlaggunAnother “gun control” group that does not understand the issue is crime control…

  EVERYTOWN-HDR

Dear Friend,

Life-saving action to end gun violence cannot wait. Every day, more than 110 people in America are killed by guns and hundreds more are wounded. And one mass shooting after another has shattered families and shaken our nation, while weak gun laws continue to allow violent “criminals to exploit loopholes in our background check laws and flood our streets with guns.

[OCS: You will notice that they almost never break down the number with particularity: suicides, accidents, deaths in the commission of a crime or at the hand of law enforcement, and gun deaths in minority communities caused by drugs or a “macho” culture.

Of course, there is also the big lie. Guns do not kill people; they are killed by people using guns, including criminals, crazies, and terrorists.

There will always be “mass” shootings. However, the word “mass” is a rhetorical trick by the statisticians and the media to add drama to situations bound to occur in a nation of 320 million people with extraordinary freedom of action.

Likewise, the endless 24/7 repetition of the news and endless chatter from the talking heads amplifies the event beyond its expected low probability (except in the inner cities) occurrence.

We do not have weak gun laws; we have weak politicians and prosecutors who provide passes to minorities to jigger incarceration rates and to allow plea bargaining down gun charges to secure career-affirming conviction numbers. Funny, the minority community is awash in guns, yet minorities rarely are involved in school shootings; not so for white, middle-class children on or off their prescribed psychotropic medications to control their aberrant behavior.

And, notice how they almost always never mention an estimate of the number of innocent lives that might have been saved by the proper use of firearms.]

For decades, change has been thwarted by the NRA’s dangerous efforts to spread fear and disinformation to stop life-saving gun laws - and by the elected leaders who refused to take common-sense steps to save lives.

[OCS: No other organization has promoted gun safety and the prudent use of firearms like the NRA.

They are about teaching gun safety and protecting the Second Amendment -- and the gross punishment of law-abiding for the acts of a relatively few criminals, crazies, and terrorists.

Truth be told, the regime is more worried about armed regime change in response to dictatorial tyranny than criminal activities. There are but a few common-sense steps to save lives: fully prosecute gun-related crime, lock up the offenders, teach gun familiarization and safety, and allow those with training and desire to carry to do so without restriction.

Just how many criminals, crazies, and terrorists belong to the NRA. Full disclosure: I am a life member (Patron Level) of the NRA and want to keep my freedoms intact and be free from government molestation.]

But Everytown is changing all that. We’ve built a movement strong enough, smart enough, and determined enough to take on the NRA and win. With more than 8 million supporters, we’ve brought about massive change.

[OCS: In my opinion, Everytown is just another progressive communist democrat grift to advance the Democrat Party and feather the nests of its leadership. Notice they talk about taking on the NRA, not implementing crime control. I have yet to see any “massive change” that can be attributed to the organization.]

Last year, President Joe Biden took executive action to stop the proliferation of deadly and untraceable ghost guns, increase funding for community violence intervention programs, confront firearm trafficking, and more.

[OCS: There is no such thing as a “ghost gun” -- it's a media term. The facts: all guns are deadly including those legally produced, possessed, and those that remain unregistered guns -- and all of their owners and users are subject to the same existing criminal laws.

Violence intervention programs – you mean paying progressive communist democrat outreach groups to pay off gangbangers – when they are not “getting out the Democrat vote?”

Firearms trafficking? Do you know that the Obama Administration was trafficking in arms during the “Fast and Furious” scandal? Or the Obama Administration was caught red-handed trafficking military weapons to Islamic terrorists in Benghazi?

We are all concerned about illegal gun ownership, especially by criminals, crazies, and terrorists – but these individuals do not abide by any laws. They do not (cannot) purchase guns legally.

BTW: Joe Biden is a cognitively-impaired buffoon who will sign anything placed before him if he is promised an ice cream cone before his nap.]

And that’s not all. In 2021, we passed more than 30 gun safety laws in the states, from regulating ghost guns in New York and strengthening background checks in Illinois to demanding police reform in New Mexico and requiring secure firearm storage in Oregon.

[OCS: Who is “we?” I never heard of your organization until I received your fundraising letter.]

With determination and resolve, we defeated 90% of the gun lobby’s agenda for the sixth year in a row, with states rejecting dozens of extreme bills that would have allowed guns in schools, armed teachers, nullified federal gun safety laws, and more.

[OCS: Again, with the unproven “we.” Not allowing properly trained school safety officers and teachers only produces an effective child shooting gallery until the police arrive, assemble, coordinate, and count the dead bodies.]

But you know the NRA won’t give up easily, so we have to keep pressing forward- and you can play a critical role by sharing your thoughts on gun violence in America today. That’s why I am asking you to complete the enclosed short survey and send your answers back to us as soon as you can.

[OCS: They don’t give a damn what you think – send money!]

• How high a priority do you think our elected leaders should place on ending gun violence?

[OCS: Wrong question: How high a priority do you think our elected leaders should place on crime control, including releasing recidivist felons back into the community or failing to prosecute illegal alien criminals caught with weapons?]

• How has gun violence affected you and your community?

[OCS: Meaningless question design to evoke a media-driven emotional response.]

• What do you think are the best strategies for taking on the NRA and its “guns everywhere” agenda?

[OCS: Wrong question: What do you think are the best strategies for taking on the politicians and soft-on-crime prosecutors endangering the community?]

Your answers are critical to guiding our work as we fight for safer communities and common-sense solutions that will save lives. Along with your completed survey, I hope you will also enclose a generous contribution of $35, $50, or more to Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund to support our work.

The fight ahead won’t be easy. We must keep taking on the NRA until we finally break the grip it has held on our gun safety laws for far too long. That’s why I’m asking you to complete the enclosed short survey and send your answers back to us.

[OCS: It’s all about the grift! The NRA is just a convenient bogeyman. Truth be told, the progressive communist democrats and their radical policies are the real problems.]

For those who do not recognize the organization’s name or its Democrat provenance…

In February 2010, John Feinblatt, now the President of Everytown for Gun Safety, was appointed chief advisor for policy and strategic planning to then New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg. As the mayor’s advisor, Feinblatt worked on criminal justice issues and as a liaison to the state court system, the city’s five elected District Attorneys, and the state criminal justice system. In 2011, Feinblatt and his longtime partner, Jonathan Mintz, were married by Bloomberg at Gracie Mansion, the mayor’s official residence. Mintz was previously the longest-serving Commissioner in the history of the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs.

After Bloomberg left office at the end of 2013, the former mayor began working more on his anti-gun violence campaign, Mayors Against Illegal Guns. In 2014, the group merged with a similar organization to form Everytown for Gun Safety. <Source>

From its 2019 IRS Form 990, we find the organization contributing money to groups such as National LGBTQ Task Force, Tides Center, Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, and the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Caucus Institute; with the two most significant contributions going to their own lobbying group, Everytown For Gun Safety Educational and Action Fund Inc [501(C)(4)] -- $1,000,000 and supporting the March For Our Lives Foundation [501(C)(3)] – $3,803,650.

2019 Income: $33,870,690; Expenses: $32,373,455; Net Assets $ 31,315,579

How fast can a situation turn toxic?

More than 1,000 well-heeled virtue-signaling Hollywood progressive communist democrat elites joined millions of viewers to enjoy the  94th Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).

What they saw was a wealthy top-tier actor physically assaulting a wealthy top-tier comic host over a rather innocuous joke about his actor wife with a violent slap to the face in the presence of armed security officers caught off-guard. Had this actor possessed a gun, who knows what might have happened? Yet, these are the very people who would disarm the entire United States to prevent a single gun death -- an unrealistic fantasy. Personally, I find it ironic that the actor is ok with people talking about his wife's many open marriage affairs on-air, but is somehow offended by a joke he initially laughs at before she gives him the stink-eye.

Of course, the Academy is refusing to hold the actor accountable for his violent assault and battery over the type of joke found at most awards shows. And, the actor issued the obligatory apology written by his crisis managers on his public relations team.

“Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally,” Smith wrote. “I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.”

The post continued, “I would also like to apologize to the Academy, the producers of the show, all the attendees and everyone watching around the world. I would like to apologize to the Williams Family and my King Richard Family. I deeply regret that my behavior has stained what has been an otherwise gorgeous journey for all of us. I am a work in progress.”

Another example of our two-tier justice system.

Bottom line…

Another one of those professional charities run by professional, politically-connected hacks. Perhaps this is the new growth industry – create your own job selling a line of bullshit.

At the very end of the donation form, they note, "Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization" and go on to say "Your contribution is not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution or as a business expense under IRC Section 162(e)." Adding, "Your contribution will not be earmarked for any purpose and will generally support our work to prevent gun violence and save lives."

Nobody dismisses the severity of crime in America, made worse by the progressive communist democrats and their pandering to minorities to build their coalition base.

For the umpteenth time, crime control, not gun control, is the appropriate response. Lock the miscreants away and protect society.

If this organization wants to do good, let them concentrate on resolving mental health issues. With the minor exception of idiots wanting to get high as a diversion from their lives, most addicts take drugs to relieve pain: psychic and physical, intending to feel “normal” or blunt the effects of trauma. These people deserve our understanding, respect, and assistance. For the young and hip crowd – eff them and their drug dealers.

Support your local NRA chapter – not the parent organization until they dump their corrupt leadership, but the good people in your local chapter and at the range.

Support the Second Amendment, which guarantees your other inalienable freedoms.

WARNING: NOTHING A POLITICIAN SAYS IS LIKELY TO BE TRUE AFTER THEY WIN THEIR SEAT

Uncle-sam-dollarsUnfortunately, it is a fact of life that politicians on both sides of the aisle will do or say anything to get themselves elected to office—starting their reelection campaigns and prodigious fundraising efforts the day after the election—courting local, state, and national special interests over local constituents.

Also, unfortunately, rogues, scoundrels, grifters, poverty pimps, and race hustlers outweigh, and outvote, a patriotic minority that may be willing to put national interests before self-interest.

As for those promised investigations, prosecutions, and punishments of corrupt political evildoers, don't hold your breath. The name of the game is "delay 'em," using lawyers and claims of attorney-client privilege to delay being held accountable for clearly criminal actions until the statute of limitations expires.

And then, there is professional courtesy where the majority party forgives the offenders in able to "move on and put this distasteful episode behind us – in the best interests of the nation," of course.

The GOP – a particular brand of cowardice…

There is little doubt in my mind that the GOP may not rise beyond its usual feckless behavior and is most likely to revert to "establishment" politics.

If the GOP had cojones, everybody on the January 6 committee and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi would be brought before Congress and expelled for their clearly illegal and unconstitutional activities in fomenting a coup and torturing political prisoners who rot in jail without having their speedy trial – or even access to all of the prosecution's evidence.

Bottom line…

I am not sure that our premier intelligence and law enforcement agencies are not coercing, extorting, or blackmailing candidates on behalf of the deep state. Since former President Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder, and CIA Director John Brennan -- this might be a valid assumption.

DON'T BE SURPRISED IF THE GOP "NEGOTIATES" PROMISED "INVESTIGATIONS" IN RETURN FOR FAVORABLE LEGISLATION AND PRESIDENTIAL APPROVALS.

The best scenario that I can see is to elect a capable and trustworthy Speaker of the House, use the 25th Amendment to impeach President Biden and Kamala Harris. Appoint a new Vice President and Speaker. Hence, the talk of making Donald Trump Speaker of the House since there apparently is no requirement that the Speaker be a member of Congress.

As my friends are likely to say… Dream on, Steve.

No matter how you slice and dice the facts, the progressive communist democrats are the proximate cause of our troubles, foreign and domestic—aided, in part, by a weak GOP. There is but one choice to retard "the great reset," vote GOP, and hope they grow a pair to rise to the occasion.

We are so screwed.

HOME DEPOT GOES DEMOCRAT "WOKE"

Apparently, a “woke” Home Depot has provided a guide to unpacking privilege for their less enlightened employees…

Work-1

Unfortunately, like so much of the crap shoveled by the progressive communist democrats, their propagandists in the media, and the racists profiting off the public’s apathy, ignorance, or fear of labels, their virtue signaling behavior provides a deeper look into their dysfunction.

Implementing class distinctions to bring about a revolution (or “reset”) that will leave the “elites” in power and able to profit off the labor and productivity of others…

What privilege looks like…

  • If while growing up, college was an expectation of you, not a dream, you have class privilege.

[OCS:  No, either you, your parents, or your culture may lack respect for the education that provides Americans of all classes, colors, and creeds with unlimited opportunities in life. While your physical and mental abilities or environment may introduce challenges, many can be overcome with the proper motivation and desire – bearing in mind the laws of nature and human behavior. (e.g., it is unlikely for a physically weak person to become an Olympian. Virtually any living being with a high school diploma can attend their local community college -- and transfer upward, grades and scholarships willing.]

  • If you can expect time off from work to celebrate your religious holidays, you have Christian privilege.

[OCS:  Considering the historical role of religion and its influence on culture, it would be reasonable to accept the notion that the creation of holidays of any kind would be conditioned by a majority opinion and ratification.]

  • If you can use public bathrooms without stares, fear, or anxiety, you have cisgender privilege.

[OCS: Interesting when considering that biological males and biological females have always been treated differently. Ask any teenage boy, of whatever persuasion, about being forced into using communal urinals’ or showers. Allowing self-declared men, especially with intact male appendages, to use women’s facilities is likely to produce stares, fear, and anxiety in the majority of women.]

  • If you don’t have to worry about how to get into a store, you have able-bodied privilege.

[OCS:  The vast majority of buildings and facilities were designed when the less-abled were less mobile and unlikely to be using such facilities.]

  • If you don’t have to explain that your spouse is of the same gender, you have heterosexual privilege.

[OCS:  The issue is one of semantics, with one group attempting to co-opt the traditional nomenclature and language of the majority to force integration and acceptance. This is the tyranny of the minority. Going beyond the conventional definition of marriage does not preclude civil partnerships nor the use of the term life-partner. For a man to refer to another man as his wife or husband is an “in your face” denial of traditional historical, cultural roles.]

  • If you’re confident that the police exist to protect you, you have white privilege.

[OCS: This is pure bullshit. Civilian law enforcement authority exists to protect the regime in power and maintain good civil order. No law enforcement officer has a legal or moral duty to protect another individual.]

<Source>

Bottom line…

The truth is that individuals have different abilities, environments, circumstances, and realities. They owe it to themselves to use their assets, overcome or minimize their deficits, to behave in their self-interests.

To the  extent that some Democrats want to alter historical or traditional understandings to force certain behaviors or perpetuate a permanent underclass is a sign of a malignant power grab.

If, as some say, “racism is racial prejudice + power,” what does it say about the Democrats, the party of slavery, segregation, Jim Crow, the KKK, and the fight against civil rights legislation? What does it say about the Democrats who govern the inner cities, stealing billions of dollars while perpetuating illiteracy, poverty, disease, and crime while demanding more political power to implement “social justice?”

In the final analysis, ask yourself why blacks from Africa and foreign countries prosper in America while American blacks wallow in victimhood with their hands out for government handouts? Could it be that non-American blacks do not buy into the Democrat bullshit as they go about improving their lives and those of their next generation?

We are so being screwed by the Democrat Party that has fundamentally weakened America with its malignant and metastasizing political cancer.
