VETERANS DAY - 2022
DONALD TRUMP'S PROVERBIAL ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM

BEYOND THE PALE: PROGRESSIVE COMMUNIST DEMOCRATS SMEAR SITTING GOVERNOR, PRESIDENTIAL HOPEFUL

I find it abhorrent that any commercially produced, distributed, and exhibited feature would attempt to falsely smear a sitting politician on admittedly bogus sexual charges, let alone an upcoming presidential candidate.

Some defamatory and damaging things cannot be hidden behind a label of comedy or creative content and need to be addressed in a court of competent jurisdiction.

Twitter erupts over CBS’s ‘The Good Fight’ finale which has character accuse DeSantis of being sex offender’

The character admitted to fabricating the allegations to give Trump a boost in the 2024 polls

  • The series finale of Paramount+ “The Good Fight” left social media users stunned on Thursday for featuring a plot in which a character claimed to be sexually assaulted by Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, only to confess he was lying later on in the show.
  • The finale of the courtroom drama’s sixth and final season premiered on Thursday with the episode titled “The End of Everything.” In a clip widely shared online, the episode features the main character Diane Lockhart, played by Christine Baranski, meeting with Felix Staples, a flamboyant, gay provocateur who has made appearances in earlier seasons of the long-running show.
  • In a conference room surrounded by lawyers, Staples claims that he was sexually assaulted by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who forced him to have oral sex following a CPAC conference while interning for his office.
  • Diane immediately dismisses the accusation as politically motivated “bulls—” despite Staples claiming to have DNA proof. The lawyers spend the episode gathering evidence to expose Staples for lying. He eventually confesses to fabricating the allegations to tarnish the Florida governor’s reputation, because it will put former President Trump “ahead in the polling” in 2024’s presidential race.

“I offered my political services to Governor DeSantis,” Staples says. “He saw me in my bicycle shorts, worn purely for medical reasons, and he invited me onto his staff. Little did I know what he meant by ‘staff.'”

“Oh my God,” Lockhart groaned.

“That’s who I prayed to for guidance on this decision. As well as my close friend and mentor Roger Stone who informed me that a demonic portal had opened up over the Florida state Capitol,” Staples continues. “I didn’t believe him and I took the job.”

“Ron invited me to CPAC so I could work on his speech. And then and there, he drugged me and forced me into oral sex.”

“Ron DeSantis is going to win until you use this,” Staples warned.

“A lie?” he is asked.

“Yes, a lie. What does it matter? You want this cuz you hate DeSantis, I want this because it puts Trump ahead in the polling. Win-win,” he says smugly.

Bottom line…

While most politicians are disgusting reprobates, and there is wide latitude for artistic expression in entertainment, inserting an existing public official into a fictional creation as a sex offender prior to an election is beyond the pale.

Taken to an extreme, there would be no heinous and damaging allegation that could not be made public prior to an election in the name of artistic expression. Since progressive communist democrats and their sympathizers control Hollywood, we are putting a potent weapon into the hands of the communists.

We are so screwed.
