OCS: HOST STILL EXPERIENCING ISSUES

After two days of security patches, migration to a new system, a roll-back to the old system, and the inability to display images -- One Citizen Speaking is still having issues with our blog host.

We're continuing to make progress on fully restoring Typepad. You should now be able to log in, post, and view blogs. We're aware that some images and other assets including blog design files, are still missing, and work is ongoing to restore all content. Twitter Web App
As we approach nearly a day of downtime for this latest migration effort, we have decided to roll back the changes made. This is an unfortunate occurrence, & we understand the frustration & disappointment this will cause. We'll regroup & determine how we can best move forward.  Twitter Web App
The migration to the new data center is complete. We are working on establishing the connections to restore service currently. We apologize for the delay & we appreciate your patience during this vital & difficult transition.  Twitter Web App
The scheduled maintenance window is starting. Expect the application & blogs to be unavailable during the approximately 12 hour window. Support & operations team will be monitoring. Updates to follow. Twitter Web App

Please accept my apologies while they work through their problems.

A SCARY 2022 HALLOWEEN MASK

Few individuals have wreaked as much havoc on Congress and the nation as the corrupt House Speaker Nancy Pelosi with her continual House rules violations, proxy voting, sham committees, and phony impeachments.

She is genuinely the wicked witch from the West who traveled East to damage and destroy our nation with her San Francisco progressive communist democrat ideology.

OCS: SYSTEM MESSAGE

My hosting platform has engaged San Francisco, California-based Cloudflare, the premier DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) mitigation company, to help protect the platform and our content from evildoers. It should reduce or eliminate the number of  503- Service Unavailable messages that have plagued the site recently.

You may see the following screen the first time you encounter the OCS site.

BEYOND FICO SCORES: SURVEILLANCE AND SOCIAL SCORES

New-order

Beyond FICO…

For those unfamiliar with the FICO credit scoring system initially named by the data analytics company Fair, Isaac and Company, the scoring system uses a collection of data points taken from credit scores gathered by the three major credit repositories, Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax, which are then correlated against factors indicative of the probability of loan default. The system does not consider income or other factors, such as a long-term rental history.

We are now seeing financial companies accessing your smartphone’s GPS (Global Positioning System) data to verify how often and long a prospective borrower is at their designated workplace as a predictor of employment stability and probability of repayment. Financial institutions do not need direct access to your phone or permission to use the data collected and supplied by data brokers who collect cell tower data and store it in data warehouses.

Another type of surveillance…

We are beginning to see companies using artificial intelligence-powered creepy crawlers to troll social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and others to build social scoring data points that may be predictive of prudent or profligate money use, property ownership, hidden assets, and keywords linked to suspicious activities.

We are now finding out that the corrupt FBI has spent approximately $27 million on 5,000 licenses for Babel X, an automated net surveillance system from Washington, D.C.-based Babel Street.

What is Babel X

Babel X® is an AI-enabled, multilingual, knowledge discovery and transformation platform empowering teams to accelerate the speed of insight, unbound by origin or language, in real time. Our multilingual, geo-enabled, text-analytics platform is an industry-leading linguistics and text analytics tool and our flagship offering.

Babel X enables teams to derive relevant insights by canvassing the world of publicly available and commercially available information across more than 200 languages and then filtering by a wide range of analytical lenses including geospatial, temporal, link analysis, public records search, sentiment, and topics of interest. All insights are presented on a single pane of glass for analysis and collaboration across teams. <Source>

Interesting because the FBI does not have a mandate to surveil American citizens without probable cause that a crime has been committed. However, given that the FBI lied to the FISA Court to obtain surveillance warrants, conducted surveillance on American individuals, including the President of the United States, and seemed immune from prosecution and penalties under a corrupt Attorney General, this should come as no surprise.

Why is this important…

We are seeing governments advocating for creating a digital identity similar to the GUID ( Globally Unique IDentifier) embedded into electronic devices, documents, and electronic communications, as well as access to underlying transactional data where the identifier might be used. An Orwellian nightmare in the making.

World Economic Forum pushes digital ID system that will determine access to services

The World Economic Forum (WEF), an international organization that works to “shape global, regional and industry agendas,” recently published its latest dystopian proposal – a far-reaching digital ID system that will collect as much data as possible on individuals and then use this data to determine their level of access to various services.

This digital ID proposal is outlined in a report titled “Advancing Digital Agency: The Power of Data Intermediaries” and builds upon a digital ID framework that the WEF has published previously.

Under this framework, the WEF proposes collecting data from many aspects of people’s “everyday lives” through their devices, telecommunications networks, and third-party service providers.

The WEF suggests that this data collection dragnet would allow a digital ID to scoop up data on people’s online behavior, purchase history, network usage, credit history, biometrics, names, national identity numbers, medical history, travel history, social accounts, e-government accounts, bank accounts, energy usage, health stats, education, and more.

Once the digital ID has access to this huge, highly personal data set, the WEF proposes using it to decide whether users are allowed to “own and use devices,” “open bank accounts,” “carry out online financial transactions,” “conduct business transactions,” “access insurance, treatment,” “book trips,” “go through border control between countries or regions,” “access third-party services that rely on social media logins,” “file taxes, vote, collect benefits,” and more. <Source>

Your freedom of choice is being eroded or eliminated…

In this Insight Report, the World Economic Forum’s Taskforce on Data Intermediaries explores the potential to outsource human decision points to an agent acting on an individual’s behalf in the form of a data intermediary. <Source>

Redesigning Data Privacy: Reimagining Notice & Consent for human technology interaction

The way in which we as people interact with technology is continuously evolving. When the permissions people grant to companies and organizations at one point in time become the gateway for everything that happens to that data in the future, that moment becomes extremely important, perhaps far beyond what could be envisaged. Given the ubiquity of data collection online and the necessity of technologies that enhance our lives but rely on that data, is there a better way to manage the relationship between people and technology? <Source>

Leave it to the experts…

Notice & Consent is at its core a human-technology interaction problem, one that necessitates an interdisciplinary group of experts from the design and technology sectors to solve it. It can no longer remain the exclusive domain of lawyers, policy-makers and engineers; rather, designers, humanitarian experts and creative technologists must have a seat at the table, as well. <Source>

I call bullshit! It does not take an “expert” to know the difference between good and evil, right and wrong, or up and down. As we have seen in healthcare, climate change, and other politically-charged subjects, experts can be easily coerced or extorted by politically-directed government regime funding sources and raw political power. The experts are not honest brokers but agents of the regime.

Bottom line…

Americans have a nasty habit of accepting the loss of personal freedom and privacy in return for temporary convenience or a token monetary advantage. Freedoms and privacy can never be regained without a bloody revolution if our War of Independence is a guideline.

We are so screwed if we do not shut down the political evildoers who wish to gain or maintain power at our expense.

GDP UP +2.6% -- BUT CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?

Biden-stock

Numbers don’t lie, but liars do numbers…

The Biden Administration produced these numbers, the same regime that shamelessly stole an election, prosecuted parents concerned about their children’s education, and created an entire class of political prisoners to stop one man from running for office in 2024 – do you think they would hesitate to massage the numbers eleven days before the mid-term elections? An election, if won by the GOP, might see the investigation and prosecution of the regime’s most prominent officeholders.

This is not good news if you take the time to read the commentary and understand the caveats…

BEA-HDR

Gross Domestic Product, Third Quarter 2022 (Advance Estimate)

Real gross domestic product (GDP) increased at an annual rate of 2.6 percent in the third quarter of 2022 (table 1), according to the “advance” estimate released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis. In the second quarter, real GDP decreased 0.6 percent.

The GDP estimate released today is based on source data that are incomplete or subject to further revision by the source agency (refer to “Source Data for the Advance Estimate” on page 3). The “second” estimate for the third quarter, based on more complete data, will be released on November 30, 2022.

[OCS: The numbers are a politically-motivated guess based on incomplete or faulty data, which will be "partially" corrected in the future with the “second estimate” being posted 22 days after the election.]

The increase in real GDP reflected increases in exports, consumer spending, nonresidential fixed investment, federal government spending, and state and local government spending, that were partly offset by decreases in residential fixed investment and private inventory investment. Imports, which are a subtraction in the calculation of GDP, decreased.

[OCS: The hidden truth – massive government spending, cratering home prices due to rising interest rates and foreclosures, a reduction in imports, and reductions in inventories due to logistical issues and currency issues. All created by the Biden regime’s foreign and domestic policies.]

The increase in exports reflected increases in both goods and services. Within exports of goods, the leading contributors to the increase were industrial supplies and materials (notably petroleum and products as well as other nondurable goods), and nonautomotive capital goods. Within exports of services, the increase was led by travel and “other” business services (mainly financial services). Within consumer spending, an increase in services (led by health care and “other” services) was partly offset by a decrease in goods (led by motor vehicles and parts as well as food and beverages). Within nonresidential fixed investment, increases in equipment and intellectual property products were partly offset by a decrease in structures. The increase in federal government spending was led by defense spending. The increase in state and local government spending primarily reflected an increase in compensation of state and local government employees.

[OCS: The Biden Administration killed the U.S. energy independence and oil exports. Profligate and uncontrolled spending on defense went to Ukraine, as the U.S. rapidly depleted its own weapon cache. Of course, the Biden Administration would ensure that the massive unionized bureaucracy, a sizeable Democrat voting block, was compensated before ordinary workers in the private sector.]

Within residential fixed investment, the leading contributors to the decrease were new single-family construction and brokers’ commissions. The decrease in private inventory investment primarily reflected a decrease in retail trade (led by “other” retailers). Within imports, a decrease in imports of goods (notably consumer goods) was partly offset by an increase in imports of services (mainly travel).

[OCS: Why would anyone build homes in a hostile environment that sees skyrocketing prices in building materials, restrictions on building homes in certain areas without building offsetting low-income housing or donating compensatory property to the government, price controls on rental properties, rising interest rates, and the restrictions on defaulted loan foreclosures.]

Real GDP turned up in the third quarter, increasing 2.6 percent after decreasing 0.6 percent in the second quarter. The upturn primarily reflected a smaller decrease in private inventory investment, an acceleration in nonresidential fixed investment, and an upturn in federal government spending that were partly offset by a larger decrease in residential fixed investment and a deceleration in consumer spending. Imports turned down.

<Source: BEA>

Reality...

This is not the growth indicator that the Biden Administration is pushing in the media -- it is a signal of a continuing decline.

Because of the  GDP calculation methodology, all of last quarter's GDP growth was primarily driven by the decline in imports and an increase in exports. Look closely, and you will see that combined consumer spending and business investment were negative, which indicates both families and businesses are being extorted by higher prices and falling real incomes and savings.

Inflation is at a nearly 40-year high, and the Federal Reserve is about to increase rates by another 75 basis points.

Bottom line…

We are so screwed when we cannot believe or rely on our government. Having a cognitively impaired presidential puppet whose strings are pulled by radical progressive communist acolytes of former President Obama is only a symptom of how both parties have been infiltrated and subverted by un-American actors acting in their self-interest or on behalf of hostile foreign powers.

Hold your nose and vote for the Republican. Remember, while Republicans may not be able to fix all of what has gone wrong rapidly and expeditiously, they are not Democrats who are the root cause of our problems.

DEMOCRATIC DEPRESSIVE DISEASE IS REAL

AnxietyToday’s email brought a message from UCLA Health on additional mental health screening for adults…

Dep-scr

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF), self-described as an independent, volunteer panel of national experts in disease prevention and evidence-based medicine, has issued guidance on screening adults ages 18 to 64 years for anxiety — including people who are pregnant or postpartum.

The USPSTF found insufficient evidence to recommend for or against screening for anxiety in adults aged 65 and older. This recommendation only applies to people without recognized signs or symptoms of anxiety. More details can be found on the USPSTF website.

Like most non-governmental agencies whose “experts” inform government policies, they have a caveat. “Recommendations made by the USPSTF are independent of the U.S. government. They should not be construed as an official position of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality or the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.”

Perhaps the reason that senior citizens are excluded from anxiety is that they are old enough to have been educated at a time when history, civics, and critical thinking was still taught by educational institutions and have well-developed bullshit detectors. They were educated instead of indoctrinated, most have a record of accomplishment, and resist the notion that some malevolent political force can simply label them “victims” of the system to excuse their faults.

Take your own anxiety test…

Instructions: Thinking back over the last two weeks, how often have you been bothered by the following seven problems? (As you answer each one of these questions, assign 0 points for “not at all,” 1 point for “several days,” 2 points for “more than half the days,” and 3-points for “nearly every day.”)

  1. Feeling nervous, anxious, or on edge? (0, 1, 2, 3 points)
  2. Not being able to stop or control worrying? (0, 1, 2, 3 points)
  3. Worrying too much about different things?(0, 1, 2, 3 points)
  4. Trouble relaxing? (0, 1, 2, 3 points)
  5. Being so restless that it is hard to sit still? (0, 1, 2, 3 points)
  6. Becoming easily annoyed or irritable? (0, 1, 2, 3 points)
  7. Feeling afraid as if something awful might happen? (0, 1, 2, 3 points)

Total: ___________

Scoring…

5 – 9 Mild anxiety
10 – 14 Moderate anxiety
15 – 21 Severe anxiety

The question that is not being asked…

How many of your feelings are linked to non-health, political issues involving the consequences of political policies?

Suck it up…

The progressive communist democrats are all about creating victims – using victimhood to disguise and excuse an individual’s lack of achievement, often adopting bizarre, pseudo-cultural-based naming, dressing, and language to further divide certain individuals from the mainstream population.

As President Joe Biden often says, “Seriously. No Joke,” before he lies…

Joe Biden: Liar-in-chief

Earlier this month, when Mr. Biden announced he was going to further drain the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve in a cynical move to cut pump prices and buy votes, he stated: “My administration has not stopped or slowed U.S. oil production; quite the opposite. We’re producing 12 million barrels of oil per day.”

Twelve million barrels may sound impressive, but in early 2020, under Mr. Trump, the U.S. was producing 13 million barrels a day. So Mr. Biden’s administration, which has canceled oil and gas pipelines, slow-walked leases and permits, and stopped all new drilling on federal lands — has indeed slowed U.S. oil production.

Moreover, economists from the Committee to Unleash Prosperity estimate that if Mr. Trump’s energy policies had been left in place, the U.S. would be pumping as much as 3 million more barrels of oil a day and 25 billion more cubic feet of natural gas than is the case today.

In the same speech, Mr. Biden took credit for gasoline prices falling from their summertime peaks, failing to mention they’re still over 60% higher than when he took office. Instead of encouraging American energy production (remember his “guarantee” on the campaign trail to “end fossil fuel”?), he’s been robbing supply from the SPR to prices (temporarily) down.

As a side note, in March 2020, Mr. Trump wanted to stabilize the oil industry after COVID-19 hit and proposed filling up the SPR when oil was at $24 a barrel. Democrats labeled the move a “bailout for Big Oil,” and blocked the proposal.

Mr. Biden said he would look to refill his depletions when oil prices are $67 to $72 a barrel. On Monday, The Wall Street Journal reported those “hoped for” prices won’t happen anytime soon, in large part owing to Mr. Biden’s war on fossil fuel. And there is talk that more withdrawals from the SPR may be imminent.

In other lies, cries, and distortions, Mr. Biden took a victory lap last week over how his team “reduced” the annual federal deficit by $1.4 trillion, the “largest one-year drop in American history.”

He failed to mention that that was achieved only because government COVID-19 recovery spending has stopped, despite his administration’s efforts to keep the spending taps open. He essentially boasted how his federal government is sinking the U.S. in ever more red ink, just at a slower pace.

The U.S. gross national debt topped $31 trillion earlier this month — a record high. Since Mr. Biden took office, he has approved new spending that has fueled a $5 trillion rise in the deficit. As the Federal Reserve continues to increase interest rates, this debt will become increasingly more expensive for American taxpayers to pay down. <Source>

What I have learned…

(1)  You cannot trust the government as they are the major source of the very disinformation they condemn.

(2)  You cannot trust the media as they are little more than regime propagandists.

(3)  You can trust your wallet and financial statements.

(4)  You will not find any Republicans in the misnamed Democratic Party, but you will find Democrats in the Republican Party.

(5)  The Republicans may not be able to fix everything immediately, but they are not the proximate cause of the grievous problems facing the nation today.

(6)  When faced with two political evils, hold your nose and vote for the lesser of the two – knowing both are evil.

Bottom line…

It is hard not to be anxious when you are afraid to walk down the streets, see your employment being put at risk by public policies, and see your money evaporating as prices of food and fuel skyrocket. All consequences of failed progressive communist democrat policies, both foreign and domestic.

Give me boorish behavior and mean tweets over rank incompetence, a mentally-impaired President, and a revolutionary agenda of destruction.

I am voting Republican.

We are so screwed.

WHO WON THE FETTERMAN -- OZ DEBATE?

F-o-pa

I watched the debate between Democrat John Fetterman and Republican Mehmet Oz and was appalled by what this debate revealed about the progressive communist democrats and the dishonest media propagandists.

Kudos to the moderators, Dennis Owens (WHTM ABC27 News anchor) and Lisa Sylvester (WPXI anchor), for their well-prepared, superb, fast-paced, hard-hitting, on-point questioning with good follow-ups.

Of-2The moderators with their large-screen closed captioning display behind them to compensate for John Fetterman’s communication disability.

(1)  The candidates seek to replace retiring U.S. Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA). The race is ONLY essential in the context of winning the voting majority of the Senate, where the outcome of the Pennsylvania race may decide the balance of power in the United States Senate and dictate the future of President Joe Biden’s judicial nominations, appointment, and foreign and domestic policies.

(2)  Fetterman is a bizarre candidate, from his overall look and behavior to his extreme politics that are to the left of self-declared Socialist Bernie Sanders. And that was before his debilitating stroke, which manifests in his inability to process spoken speech in real-time without the assistance of closed captioning. He received an allowance from his parents into his 40s, and his public service was in meaningless positions -- with little or no record of tangible accomplishments.

(3)  His opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz is a self-made man, a cardiac surgeon, and a multi-millionaire. He became a television celebrity -- often hawking expensive products with false or misleading medical claims.

(4)  The debate was vicious, with Fetterman openly branding Oz a lying carpetbagger using Pennsylvania as a career stepping stone. Touting the “Oz Rule” -- meaning Oz is lying.

(5)  Other than his radical positions, political posturing, and lying, Fetterman did a barely credible job of responding to questions given his disability. His disability is prominent but does not appear to be physically debilitating as he remained standing strong throughout the debate. But, he is painfully and obviously mentally impaired and cannot participate fully in fast-paced Senate debates depriving Pennsylvanians of full representation.

(6)  Oz was pretty much what you would expect from a well-credentialed, well-spoken, telegenic, media-trained candidate. His positions were in line with mainstream GOP views.

Huh?

Fetterman opened with a bizarre line, "Hi, Good night everyone."

Confronted by moderator Lisa Sylvester with his own statement on fracking, "I don't support fracking at all," Fetterman seems at a loss for words before claiming, "I've always supported fracking."

Asked, "Has the Biden administration overspent?" Fetterman dissembled and talked about other topics while ignoring the question. “Here’s what I think we have to fight about inflation here right now.”

When asked, "You say that you will hold big corporations accountable for what you call price gouging. How will you do that?" Fetterman responded, "Exactly. Dr. Oz has never seen an oil company he wouldn't swipe right on."

An example of a nonsensical exchange: Oz claims, "Fetterman didn't pay for his own house. He got it for a dollar from his sister." Fetterman responds,  "He got his Pennsylvania house from his own in ladies for $1. That's typical."

Fetterman off the rails: "How can a man, you know, with -- with 10 gigantic mansion has am willing to talk about willing wage for anybody? Imagine a signal mom trying with two children trying to raise with them."

Again, responding to Oz's claim that Fetterman has not paid his taxes:  "It was helping two students 17 years ago to help them buy their own homes. They for and didn’t pay the bills and got are paid and it has never been an issue in any of the campaign before."

Like President Biden, Fetterman refuses to commit to releasing the medical records about his stroke and cognitive deficits despite being challenged by the moderators multiple times.  Fetterman: "My doctoral believes that I’m fit to be serving and that’s what I believe is where I’m standing."

The one inexcusable act of any candidate for office is interrupting an opponent's closing statement, yet there was Fetterman shouting, "You want to cut social security!" during Oz's closing statement.

The Democrats are prepared to defy the law to influence the election...

Despite a Supreme Court ruling that requires Pennsylvania not to count un-dated mail-in ballots, which, by law, must be filled out, signed, and dated in order to be counted, Democrat state officials have sworn to defy the law by providing guidance to counties that they should count un-dated ballots -- and, the election workers are not required to sequester the ballots pending further legal action. Once the ballot is separated from its envelope, it is assumed to be valid -- and there is no judicial post-election remedy because you are unable to know which candidate's vote should be debited.

Bottom line…

There were no debate winners, the citizens of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania lost.

In the final analysis, this race highlights the failure of both political parties, which have presented voters with two flawed candidates. One is likely to become a Joe Biden-like sock puppet manipulated by external political actors behind the scenes and forced to resign for medical reasons, and the other a Susan Collins-like moderate.

There were no clear winners if one discounts Fetterman’s disabilities. Both presented their ideological viewpoints forcefully. If one factors in Fetterman's disabilities, it was a disastrous shit-show highlighting the reason Fetterman has been dodging public appearances and open debates.

Let us not forget to condemn the progressive media propagandists' false impression that Fetterman was a fit candidate deserving of public office -- despite their efforts to lower debate expectations.

Of course, I will support Republican Mehmet Oz over Democrat John Fetterman, if only to provide a check and balance against the extreme and toxic progressive communist democrat agenda.

We are so screwed.

TODAY'S RANT

TODAYS-RANT

With less than two weeks to the 2022 mid-term election, I am growing apprehensive that the normal and customary idiocy, backstabbing, and self-serving nature of Republicans might, once again, snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. This against the background overlay of the progressive communist democrats trying to manipulate the system to bring about another 2022 staged electoral "upset."

Not to mention the reelection of GOP candidates who are secret progressive communist democrats.

If that's not enough to think about, here are today's rants.

Phishing attempts are not always obvious...

It appears that a number of spurious or obnoxious emails have a prominent "unsubscribe" link that may be dangerous.

California craziness…

Republican gubernatorial candidate Brian Dahle was gaslighted by California's playboy governor, Gavin Newsom, as Newsom eyes the 2024 presidential race in a field of lame democrats.

Want to stifle a serious Republican challenge to a progressive communist democrat playboy politician like California Governor Gavin Newsom? Especially one that might be seen by sane people outside the Republik of California?

Demand that the discussion will be limited to a single debate, after the start of mail balloting. And, host the debate on an obscure San Francisco-based public station, KQED, known to be a progressive propaganda mill, stage the broadcast on a Sunday, just after lunch at one o'clock p.m., and make sure that it was held in NFL football primetime.

The progressive communist democrats on Newsom's team refused a number of media requests to hold the debate on network television during a time when an audience might actually watch. However, KQED filmed the event for social media, and it can be found on KQED's website. Topics discussed include reproductive rights, soaring gas prices, homelessness, crime, and finding common ground.

Watch it for yourself and see that Newsom wants to Californicate the nation to impose San Francisco values on every other state.

Is this the end of a casual afternoon date over burgers, fries, and a malt?

Assembly Bill 257,  the Fast Food Accountability and Standards Recovery Act, or FAST Act, narrowly approved by the California legislature on August 29, 2022, and signed by Governor Gavin Newsom on Labor Day, allows for the creation of a new, ten-member, unelected Fast Food Council specifically to micromanage the state’s fast-food industry. The council would have broad powers to impose new rules and regulations on thousands of fast-food and counter-service restaurants, including the ability to raise the minimum wage at most of California’s fast-food restaurants next year from $15 to $22 an hour — a nearly 50 percent jump, with cost-of-living adjustments each year after that.

The FAST Act threatens to fast-track even more burdensome regulations and an large mandatory wage increase on the industry, and to upend franchise business models across the Golden State and possibly beyond. The measure, the latest in a long string of far-left policies implemented in the state, will make it harder for entrepreneurial Californians to buy and grow their own fast-food businesses. But its impacts will likely be felt in industries that have no connection to fast food.

The measure, created by progressive communist democrat front group SEIU (Service Employees International Union), is an attempt to unionize the fast food industry. The very same union trying to force burdensome expenses on dialysis centers as they attempt to unionize the healthcare delivery system.

It appears that the day of teenage after-school employment and entry-level positions are now being eliminated -- along with other connected jobs. For the curious, the move is union driven to attract their new illegal alien constituency and appears to be targeted at providing a living wage for unskilled casual labor with a family of four.

An insight into Trump...

There is no doubt that former President Trump is a transactional, ego-driven narcissist whose sole objective is to do what is best for Donald J. Trump first and foremost. Perhaps this is best illustrated by his recent comments.

Trump Suggests He’ll Run in 2024, Says Pence Bid Would Be ‘Very Disloyal’

Former President Trump announced Saturday that he would “probably” have to run for president again, setting up a possible matchup between him and President Joe Biden for 2024, while declaring that former Trump administration officials who make a White House bid would be “very disloyal.”

During a rally in Robstown, Texas, Trump told a crowd: “I ran twice. I won twice. I did much better the second time than I did before.”

And now, in order to make our country successful, safe and glorious again, I will probably have to do it again,” he added during the rally, which was being held for candidates in the Lone Star State. As soon as he made that statement, the crowd cheered and indicated they wanted Trump to run again.

Two days before the rally, Trump also weighed in on if former Vice President Mike Pence or other cabinet members run for president. Former CIA Director and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley have also signaled they might run for president.

Many of them have said they would never run if I run, so we’ll see whether or not that turns out to be true,” the former president told Fox News on Oct. 20. “I think it would be very disloyal if they did,” Trump added. <Source>

While Trump's first term in office proved to be extremely beneficial for the nation and secured his place in history, I cannot help but believe that Trump's ego-driven hubris might result in an over-the-top series of impulsive, boastful threats and challenges to our allies and enemies.

As for the subject of loyalty, the candidates should be loyal to our nation, its constitution, and all Americans -- not to a single person who values a telegenic, well-spoken, or rich candidate above actual competence and the ability to get the job done.

I do not know how many competent individuals might risk reputational damage to serve in another Trump administration, but I know it is not nearly enough to replace the deeply-embedded Obama acolytes waiting to sabotage the next administration -- and, thereby, the nation.

My vote for president at the present time would be for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Bottom line...

We are screwed.

UKRAINE: ANOTHER DEMOCRAT DEBACLE DRIVEN BY THE SPECIAL INTERESTS

What we have learned from documentary evidence and sworn testimony is that the Democrats have interfered in Ukraine’s internal politics, openly acknowledging fomenting a regime-change revolution to covering up various acts of corruption directly linked to the President of the United States who openly touted an illegal quid pro quo arrangement in a recorded appearance. Flag-ukraine-tank
While Vladimir Putin is rightly characterized as a malevolent dictator, it appears the Democrats openly provoked his anger by removing his puppet regime in Ukraine and increasing the NATO sphere of influence on his borders.

‘To be candid, events in both abjectly corrupt Russia and Ukraine are being driven by the big-money special interests in the United States, and it is questionable whether or not Ukraine has strategic value to America  -- especially in the context of the growing threats from Communist China and a soon-to-be nuclear-armed Iran.

One need only look at the fraudulent impeachment of President Donald Trump to surface the names of individuals involved in Ukraine machinations. Among them:

  • Victoria Nuland, AssistantU.S.S Secretary of State;
  • Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the top Ukraine expert on the National Security Council;
  • Gordon Sondland, theU.S.. ambassador to the European Union;
  • Eric Ciaramella, the unacknowledged whistleblower, a CIA analyst, and National Security Council staffer;
  • Geoffrey Pyatt, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine;
  • Marie Yovanovitch, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine;
  • Jake Sullivan, National Security Adviser to Joe Biden;
  • Kurt Volker, U.S. special envoy to Ukraine;
  • Fiona Hill, U.S.. policy advisor;
  • George Kent, deputy assistant Secretary of State; and
  • The Biden crime family.

Bottom line…

The U.S.. involvement in the pointless Ukraine/Russia conflict can turn into a bigger, more consequential, and more costly misadventure than the U.S.. participation in Afghanistan.

To believe the U.S.. does not have “advisors” on the ground or is actively feeding targeting information to the Ukrainians is to believe in the tooth fairy.

Instead of advancing settlement talks, the progressive communist democrats are content to shovel taxpayer funds and sophisticated weaponry into Ukraine and nearby nations while prolonging a global food and fertilizer crisis.

If anything, the concern of the American people should be directed at the progressive communist democrat’s political corruption that is driving unprecedented and unwarranted multi-billion dollar U.S. support for Ukraine. And the death, destruction, and disruption of innocent Ukrainian lives –most of whom are innocent bystanders to this ongoing humanitarian tragedy.

There is no evidence that Putin is another Hitler, bent on genocide and worldwide conquest. He is a loathsome, repugnant bad actor – but we keep threatening with our idiotic expansion of NATO on his border.

Even worse, the progressive communist democrats are ignoring the ever-expanding Chinese Communist threat as we welcome their spies into our country and condone the invasion of our Southern Border.

We must pursue a peace plan – the special interest profits and political kickbacks be damned.

WHAT IS OUR LEGITIMATE  OBJECTIVE IN UKRAINE?

IS THE OBJECTIVE MEASURABLE?

HOW DOES THAT BENEFIT THE UNITED STATES AND ITS CITIZENS?

WHEN WILL THE SENATE RATIFY THE ACTION?

We are so screwed.

GOP: THE USUAL SENATE SUSPECTS NEED TO BE NEUTRALIZED, PUNISHED, OR ELIMINATED IF THE GOP WINS CONGRESS

BA-1

Confirming a bad choice for the crucial position of Homeland Security Secretary…

There is no doubt in my mind that Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has demonstrated a total disregard for his oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same” and to “well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter.” (5 U.S. Code § 3331 - Oath of office).

In discharging his duties as Homeland Security Secretary, Mayorkas appears to have deliberately and willfully violated federal immigration laws, aided and abetted foreign nationals, including terrorists, in entering the United States illegally, and has failed in his duties to protect American citizens from the violence and drug deaths resulting from border incursions. Impeachable offenses calling for removal from office.

However, in reviewing the Mayorkas confirmation hearings, I was not surprised to find that six Republican Senators joined the Democrats to confirm Mayorkas, who is a clear and present danger to national security.

The Six Senators…

  • Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia;
  • Susan Collins of Maine;
  • Lisa Murkowski of Alaska;
  • Dan Sullivan of Alaska;
  • Rob Portman of Ohio; and
  • Mitt Romney of Utah.

All with a history of betraying the Republican caucus on close votes with nary a peep from Senate Leader Mitch McConnell, who called Mayorkas an ‘ethically-compromised, partisan lawyer.”

The final confirmation vote was 56-43, with Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA) – another aisle-hopping turncoat -- not voting. While the vote could have been broken by the Vice President casting the deciding vote, a show of strength and unity would have been appropriate.

Why Democrats can execute their evil agenda…

Congressional Democrats move in lockstep, knowing they will be punished for any betrayal with penalties ranging from shunning, loss of committee assignments, a change in office accommodations to the ultimate sanction, the selection, funding, and endorsement of a suitable challenger for the next election cycle. When necessary, permission is granted to vote with the opposition to promote the appearance of bipartisanship or to help retain office in a tough narrowly-held district.

And, Republicans are so accepting of defeat…

There is a lack of leadership among Congressional Republicans, where betrayal is met with a shrug and acceptance.

Bottom line…

What good is a narrow majority if six to thirteen turncoats will abstain or jump the aisle? And, by no means are these six the only turncoats willing to jump the aisle. Of course, special mention should accrue to the tough-taking aisle-hopper Lindsey Graham who literally lacks the balls to fight Democrats.

It appears that Senate Minority leader McConnell is content to support those who support him, like Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine, even if it means losing crucial floor votes that would benefit his constituents and, more broadly, the nation.

The Tea Party, a coalition of disaffected patriots who put their nation first, gave the GOP the House, the Senate, and then the Presidency – and were promptly betrayed by the Establishment Republicans in favor of business as usual – go along to get along.

We can no longer afford feckless leaders like Mitch McConnell in the Senate and Kevin McCarthy in the House. These are establishment reprobates playing to the globalists and progressive media propagandists rather than putting their office on the line to do the right thing.

There are NO Republicans in the Democrat Party, but there are Democrats in the Republican Party.

We are so screwed.
