There appears to be a spectrum of being screwed, from existential threats and constitutional crises to violating and dissolving human and constitutional rights.

Our political leadership is corrupt and mentally challenged…

Biden’s ‘geriocracy’ reaches constitutional crisis levels

Who is driving this wheelchair?

Here in the Home for the Aged and Insane, the man with the best meds rules.

President Biden recently won enormous praise both inside his administration and outside for surviving 15 minutes of a “60 Minutes” interview.

Yet during that supposedly successful interview in which he appeared to be lucid at times, Mr. Biden declared the coronavirus pandemic over — thereby undermining the entire purpose of his presidency and destroying the foundation of every “accomplishment” he claims from his first two years in office such as his latest student loan smash-and-grab from innocent taxpayers.

Let’s be honest: It’s a pretty low bar for the old wheezing geezer. <Source>

[OCS: This would be a classic Twenty-fifth Amendment incapacitation case if not for similarly impaired second and third choices and a corrupt incompetent cabinet wanting to retain political power. Even worse, we find Biden searching the audience for a dead Representative a few months after he eulogized her and ordered the flag flown at half-staff. ]

Harris hails US ‘alliance with North Korea’ in latest Biden admin botch

Vice President Kamala Harris made an unforced error of global proportions Thursday by touting the strong alliance between the United States and “the Republic of North Korea” during a visit to the Korean Demilitarized Zone.

“The United States shares a very important relationship, which is an alliance with the Republic of North Korea,” said the veep, flubbing the official name of longstanding US ally South Korea, the Republic of Korea. “And it is an alliance that is strong and enduring.”

The gaffe was the latest foreign policy-related blunder by Harris, who was mocked earlier this year for a “word salad” discussion of the Russian invasion of Ukraine — in which she made the bizarre claim that the whole of Europe had known peace since the end of World War II. <Source>

[OCS: The second person in line to assume the presidency is totally incompetent, incoherent, and incapable of assuming the duties of the Presidency.]

Nancy Pelosi's Drunk Rant About Farm Workers Sure Sounds Racist

There is an epidemic of people holding power in Washington that couldn’t pump their own gas, both because they are self-ascribed elites who don’t know how and because they are so mentally gone that it wouldn’t matter anyway.

Enter Nancy Pelosi, who has been doing her best over the last year to give Joe Biden a run for his money when it comes to mental incapacitation. Is she just drunk often or is old age catching up to her? Who knows, but it’s certainly not making for good governance.

That leads me to Pelosi’s latest geriatric rant, where she supposes that Florida shouldn’t ship illegal aliens to sanctuary jurisdictions because they are needed to “pick the crops down here.” <Source>

[OCS: Along with Pelosi, third in line for the Presidency, constituting bogus committees, impeachment schemes, and proxy voting where Representatives hand off their votes to others and are “no shows,” we find 2,000+ page bills being passed out of committees in the dead of night with no disclosure, debate, or an opportunity to amend. These massive spending bills always favor the progressive  communist democrat agenda and are examples of gross corruption. Pelosi often seems mentally impaired or drunk.]

Money that should have been spent on immigration judges and courts…

Biden Admin Gives $41 Million in Contracts to Soros-Linked Group to Help Illegal Aliens Fight Deportations

The Biden administration has awarded $41.3 million in federal contracts to an advocacy group aligned with the progressive left’s Vera Institute of Justice, which helps illegal immigrants fight deportation from the United States.

The Acacia Center for Justice—a Washington-based nonprofit created through a collaboration between the Vera Institute of Justice and the Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights Coalition—was awarded six contracts from the Department of Justice to provide “legal services” starting on Sept. 1, according to government records.

The Vera Institute of Justice has received millions in funding from George Soros’s Open Society Foundation. <Source>

[OCS: The idea that the Obama/Biden Administration is willing to hire and deploy 87,000 IRS agents when we are engaged in an immigration crisis that threatens to decimate America is absolutely insane.]

It’s about appearances, saving face, hiding gross negligence, and public relations…

Sailor cleared of arson in massive 2020 fire that destroyed Navy warship USS Bonhomme Richard

Judge says not guilty after Navy portrayed him as a disgruntled SEAL training washout

A military judge on Friday acquitted a 21-year-old sailor of charges that he started the massive fire in July 2020 that destroyed an amphibious assault ship during a maintenance overhaul in San Diego, creating a major PR headache for the Navy in the process.

Seaman Recruit Ryan Sawyer Mays was found not guilty of arson and hazarding a vessel for the devastating fire that broke out aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard. He was charged more than a year later in connection with the blaze aboard the $1.2 billion ship. Seaman Mays pleaded not guilty and denied any responsibility for the fire.

Firefighters battled the blaze for four days before it was finally extinguished. The damage was so severe that the Navy ultimately decided to scrap the ship, and nearly two dozen officers and sailors were disciplined for how the blaze was handled.

“Seaman Recruit Mays was found not guilty on the charges,” Cmdr. Sean Robertson, a spokesman for the Navy’s 3rd Fleet, said in a statement. “The Navy is committed to upholding the principles of due process and a fair trial.” <Source>

[OCS: Stunning dereliction of duty by the Navy’s top brass who needed scapegoats to divert attention from their malfeasance.]

Hiding bad conduct behind “qualified immunity” …

Ohio man who was jailed for making fun of police online takes First Amendment case to Supreme Court

An Ohio man is suing his local police department after he was arrested and jailed for poking fun at them on Facebook, asking the Supreme Court to rule that his First Amendment rights trump qualified immunity for law enforcement.

In 2016, Anthony Novak created a Facebook parody page of the Parma, Ohio, Police Department. The page looked nearly identical to the police department’s real Facebook page, but it did not have the verified blue check mark.

In a series of about a half dozen posts, Mr. Novak suggested the department was racist and lacked compassion. He took the account down after it was online for only about 12 hours because the police threatened an investigation during a news interview. The department said people were confusing the posts with real law enforcement information.

“Nearly a month after Novak had deleted the parody account, police arrested him, searched his apartment, seized his phone and laptop, and jailed him for four days,” read his court papers, which were filed this week at the high court.

He was charged with violating an Ohio law making it a felony to “interrupt” or “disrupt” law enforcement using a computer. Mr. Novak, though, was found not guilty by a jury.

After being cleared of criminal wrongdoing at his trial, Mr. Novak sued the city claiming its police department upended his First and Fourth Amendment rights.

But the lower courts ruled the officers were protected by qualified immunity, a doctrine that protects government workers from facing civil liability when acting in the course of their duties. <Source>

Kobe Bryant crash photos trial: Jury orders LA County to pay $31 million to plaintiffs

A federal jury Wednesday ordered Los Angeles County to pay $31 million in damages over the actions of deputies and firefighters who took and shared gruesome photos from the scene of the 2020 helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other people.

The damages were awarded to Bryant's widow, Vanessa, and co-plaintiff Chris Chester, whose wife Sarah and 13-year-old daughter Payton also died in the Jan. 26, 2020, crash in Calabasas.

Vanessa Bryant was awarded $16 million and Chris Chester was awarded $15 million.

The jury deliberated for 4 1/2 hours before reaching the verdict. Vanessa Bryant cried quietly as it was read.

Chester and Bryant sued the county in federal court for negligence and invasion of privacy over photos of human remains taken at the scene and shared by first responders.

Bryant and Chester alleged mental anguish over the thought that one day in the future, those photos will turn up in public. <Source>

The government censorship project hides the truth about government corruption and failures by censoring information and canceling dissident access to public forums hosted on private servers.

Outsourced censorship: Feds used private entity to target millions of social posts in 2020

A consortium of four private groups worked with the departments of Homeland Security (DHS) and State to censor massive numbers of social media posts they considered misinformation during the 2020 election, and its members then got rewarded with millions of federal dollars from the Biden administration afterwards, according to interviews and documents obtained by Just the News.

The Election Integrity Partnership is back in action again for the 2022 midterm elections, raising concerns among civil libertarians that a chilling new form of public-private partnership to evade the First Amendment's prohibition of government censorship may be expanding.

The consortium is comprised of four member organizations: Stanford Internet Observatory (SIO), the University of Washington's Center for an Informed Public, the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, and social media analytics firm Graphika. It set up a concierge-like service in 2020 that allowed federal agencies like Homeland's Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and State's Global Engagement Center to file "tickets" requesting that online story links and social media posts be censored or flagged by Big Tech.

Three liberal groups — the Democratic National Committee, Common Cause and the NAACP — were also empowered like the federal agencies to file tickets seeking censorship of content. A Homeland-funded collaboration, the Elections Infrastructure Information Sharing and Analysis Center, also had access.

[OCS: The federal government is constitutionally prohibited from interfering with free speech. Likewise, private corporations have no such restrictions. But, when private corporations act overtly or covertly as agents of the federal government they become liable for their censorship  activities. Moreover, many of these large organizations are coerced into regime-friendly actions to gain or maintain their government contracts, subsidies, and grants.]

Bottom line…

Our President and top-level Administration threaten national security, as are the shameful media and tech oligarchs that cover for the incompetent progressive communist democrats.

We are so screwed.
