Keep your operating system, anti-virus/malware, and application programs up to date.
Do not trust messages and sites with vital information – even if they have correct logos and most of the links, except the main one, are legitimate.
It is far better to sign in to a trusted site you have selected to change account settings or respond to messages.
If in doubt, use the “lost password” feature to reset your password. If you have authentication enabled, ensure access to the correct email account or phone device if required.
