January 6 Committee -- Prepare for professional-grade bullshit produced by a master broadcaster…

There is no doubt in my mind that the professionally-produced docu-fiction presented by a professional broadcaster/storyteller, James Goldston. the former president of ABC News and a master documentary storyteller who ran “Good Morning America” and “Nightline.” will be deceptively edited to tell a narrative, not present news-quality reporting.

Why it matters: I'm told Goldston is busily producing Thursday's 8 p.m. ET hearing as if it were a blockbuster investigative special.

Goldston is shaping a massive trove:

• The hearing will be a mix of live witnesses and pre-produced video.
• I'm told the committee has gained access to official White House photographs from Jan. 6, 2021, that have never been seen publicly.
• Only a fraction of the surveillance footage from inside the Capitol — all kinds of angles were captured — has been shown.

Goldston Signs Producing Deal with Kapital Entertainment

Former ABC News president James Goldston has found a new gig after leaving the network last March. The longtime producer turned network news boss is returning to his producing roots by signing a production deal with Kapital Entertainment.

At Kapital, Goldston will develop and produce companion scripted series and docuseries based on true events.

According to Deadline, which first reported the news, Goldston’s first three projects are already in the works, including a docuseries about the influential and controversial Kushner family. <Source>

Jan. 6 committee adviser admits no ‘smoking gun’ showing Trump planned riot at the U.S. Capitol

A former top adviser to the House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, riot said Sunday there was no “smoking gun” indicating that then-President Trump planned for the U.S. Capitol to be overrun by his supporters. 

Denver Riggleman, who until recently was a senior adviser to the committee, told CNN’s “State of the Union” that there was no direct evidence indicating the riot was a premeditated attack.

However, he said that when the totality of evidence is presented by the committee Thursday, it will paint a troubling picture of Mr. Trump’s efforts to overturn the election. “I think when you look at the totality of the evidence — and some of these are my personal opinions — it is pretty apparent that at some points, President Trump knew what was going on,” Mr. Riggleman said.

“If you look at what’s happening and the message that’s being pushed by President Trump himself on social media … you start to see this pipeline of information that’s very damaging.” <Source>

Liz Cheney: Jan. 6 "conspiracy" was "extremely broad … well-organized"

This Thursday night, the House Select Committee investigating the January 6, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol will hold its first public hearing in nearly a year, asking us to relive, and reckon with, a day that some would rather have us forget.

CBS News' Robert Costa asked the committee's vice chair, Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, "Are you confident that what you have found as a committee will somehow grab the American people by the lapels and say, 'Wake up: You have to pay attention'?"

"I am," she replied, calling the insurrection "an ongoing threat." <Source>

Bottom line…

This is not a Committee hearing; this is a campaign ad for the Democrats before the 2022 election cycle. And promoted by the progressive communist democrat propagandists at ABC, CBS, and NBC, who will interrupt primetime programming with the hearing – and anchored with the usual suspects to provide “context.’

Will the hearing reveal the story or just tell a story?
