Stephen, we must expand the Supreme Court.
[OCS: Ignoring precedent – how shocking – especially when the progressive communist democrats demand that precedent (stare decisis) control the law when deciding abortion issues.]
It is, by far, the most unrepresentative U.S. institution in our government, yet it is also one of the most powerful.
[OCS: Only the House of Representatives was designed to directly represent the people. And for the first 125 years of the Constitution, the people did not directly vote for senators -- the state legislators elected Senators. It took the 17th Amendment to change to the direct election of Senators.]
We saw the consequences of its imbalance just yesterday. After the installation of three Trump-appointed justices, the hyper-partisan Court overturned Roe v. Wade, ending the constitutional right to an abortion.
[OCS: The makeup of the Court never seems to bother progressive communist democrats like Adam Schiff when rulings affirm the progressive agenda. The overriding fact is that there is no constitutional right to abortion anywhere in the Constitution’s enumerated powers granted to the federal government. Such rights are reserved to the States or “the people” as per the Tenth Amendment. Hyper-partisanship can be easily demonstrated by observing the three liberal justices voting in lockstep when matters are clear and unambiguous.]
It’s shocking and heartbreaking — but given the makeup of the current Court, it’s also, unfortunately, not surprising. In fact, this has been the Republican plan for decades.
[OCS: As if there has been no decades-long plan by the progressive communist democrats to seize perpetual authoritarian powers.]
And with members of the Court enjoying lifelong appointments, we’re stuck with their staunchly partisan, extreme agenda for generations, unless we act.
[OCS: Shortsighted and stupid – what prevents the next administration from enlarging the Court? Of course, that’s the goal, destroy the Supreme Court as the guardian of constitutionally-protected God-given rights or natural law. Like the right to self-defense and to resist tyranny.]
It shouldn’t be this way. Today’s Supreme Court is unfair, unjust, and no longer reflects what our founding fathers intended it to be — it’s being used as a purely partisan tool for Republicans to unilaterally reverse progress and strike down our fundamental rights, starting with Roe v. Wade.
[OCS: The Court’s duty is to rule on the constitutionality of issues and settle matters between the states. And since the right to abortion is not in the U.S. Constitution, it is unconstitutional, and the Court rendered a fair and just ruling. This is precisely what our founding fathers envisioned.]
Congress must take action. Adding additional justices to the Supreme Court is nothing new historically, and doing this will help restore legitimacy and ensure our nation’s highest Court doesn’t continue to be used to advance a partisan agenda at odds with the interests of the American people. In short, McConnell and Trump stacked the Court, and we must unstack it.
[OCS: Schiff is lying. The sole purpose of court-packing is to create a progressive majority to curtail the rights of American citizens. Does anyone believe that Obama and his cadre of communists will not dictate the nominees though an incoherent Biden and a Democrat majority Senate (with Vice President Kamala Harris as the tie-breaker) would ram them through Senate confirmation?]
Stephen, join me in demanding Congress expand the Supreme Court by adding your name now.
Watching decades of settled law be swept away in order to eliminate abortion rights, with no regard for what the majority of Americans want, should show you all you need to know about what’s to come if we continue to let this far-right majority determine the law of the land.
[OCS: Unconstitutional laws must be swept away like debris. Again, there is no constitutional right to abortion. Upholding the U.S. Constitution is an oath that has been violated by the three Justices voting against what should have been a unanimous decision if the justices were not far-left partisans.]
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for taking action.
There is no right to abortion, contraception, same-sex marriage, or other sexual rights in the U.S. Constitution. They are all State rights under the Tenth Amendment.
Liar/leaker/perjurer Adam Schiff should not be re-elected and expelled from the House of Representatives for his continuing efforts to destroy America. Schiff represents a clear and present danger to America as House Speaker Pelosi’s bitch.
This is why the progressive communist democrats no longer want to teach history and civics or want their perverted revisionist history substituted in every classroom.
We are so screwed.
