The annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner was a grotesque, cringeworthy affair that highlighted the sycophancy and bias of the nation's journalists who cover White House and government affairs. 

That the gag writers thought it was funny to joke about the surrender of Afghanistan and the precipitous withdrawal that saw Americans killed and injured, and thousands of Americans and allies left behind enemy lines to be hunted, captured, killed, raped, and tortured, is unacceptable. Yet, there was comic Trevor Noah joking,

"Please be careful leaving tonight. We all know this administration doesn't handle evacuations well."

One "comedy" bit I thought was tasteless and unnecessary...

“The media is in a tough position. Informing the public is harder than ever before. You’re battling conspiracy theories: that the election was stolen by George Soros, that JFK Jr. is still alive, that everyone in this room is a secret pedophile. And that’s just what Clarence Thomas’ wife believes.”

Other than JFK being alive, we are finding out through sworn testimony and documentary evidence that many news stories touted by the media as conspiracy theories are true, in fact, much worse than we originally thought. The fact that billionaires like George Soros and Mark Zuckerberg funded election shenanigans is beyond question, and I would dare say that there are more sexual perverts in the crowd than can be found in the general population. A clear demonstration of progressive disparate impact.

However, there was an attempt to be serious and it was all a lie...

“Now as we sit in this room, people, I hope you all remember what the real purpose of this evening is,” he said. “Yes, it’s fun. Yes, we dress nice. Yes, the people eat, we drink, we have fun. But the reason we’re here is to honor and celebrate the fourth estate, and what you stand for. What you stand for: an additional check and balance that holds power to account and gives voice to those who otherwise wouldn’t have one.”

This is part of the duality of comedy and tragedy. The American news media has been infiltrated, compromised, and corporatized by the progressive communist democrats. They no longer speak truth to power and rarely publish anything that conflicts with the regime's narrative. Often acting as the regime's gatekeeper and censor -- willing to cancel dissident voices on their various platforms. One need only look at the former President and CEO of NBC Universal, Jeff Zucker. to see what he wrought at a major news network, especialy the sex, lies, and the creation of demonstrable fake news.

Biden laughs at Americans' discomfort...

You will notice that the "gag writers" purposely left out any mention of rising crime and illegal immigration. 

Truth be told, inflation, especially in gas prices, is one of the critical objectives of the progressive communist democrats as they “nudge” American citizens to curtail their freedom and mobility using the disincentive of higher gas prices. Not to mention pushing the sales of expensive government-subsidized electric vehicles with a leash of 300 miles, poorer battery performance in hot and cold temperatures, and the necessity to waste an extra day or two during your vacation waiting for a full charge.

This is the same “de-fund the police” crowd that supports criminals over victims, wants to deny law-abiding citizens the means for self-protection, and gives criminals a pass for looting and burning down public and private property while jailing people who merely walked through the Capitol Complex on January 6th.

The more chaos, the more the sheeple demand that the government “do something,” even while ignoring laws on the books and inviting hordes of illegal aliens into our country – complete with monetary and non-cash benefits -- and free trips to the nation’s heartland.

Pair arrested for Chicago carjacking while on probation

To Chicago politicians like Mayor Lori Lightfoot and Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, the city’s current crime wave can only be addressed by putting more gun control laws on the books. There are several problems with that “solution,” starting with the fact that making it harder for law-abiding citizens to exercise their Second Amendment rights won’t bother criminals one bit. But there’s also the fact that there are plenty of laws already on the books in Chicago, and the criminal justice system is failing to actually deliver justice to those responsible for the violence.

Take the recent arrests in a carjacking in the city. As the website CWB Chicago reported, both men taken into custody are already known to authorities.

Two men, both on probation for felony gun violations, used a rifle and a handgun to carjack a couple in West Town on Monday, prosecutors said. Judge Barbara Dawkins ordered Allen Clay, 20, and Naronn Cain, 25, held without bail.

Just before 2 a.m., Cain and Clay allegedly approached a couple who were sitting inside a 2011 Kia Optima on the 2600 block of West Division. Prosecutors said Cain pointed a rifle at the 27-year-old driver while Clay pointed a handgun at a 23-year-old woman in the passenger seat. Both carjackers were allegedly wearing black masks.

Illinois State Police intercepted the hijacked vehicle and a tail car on the Dan Ryan, according to a CPD report, but the two vehicles split up as troopers pursued them.

Police arrested Cain and Clay after the hijacked car crashed at 87th and State streets. ISP found a rifle, a handgun, and a balaclava-style facemask inside the vehicle, according to CPD records.

Prosecutors charged both men with two counts of aggravated vehicular hijacking with a firearm.

According to CWB Chicago, the 25-year old Cain is also currently on probation for his second gun conviction. In 2016 Clay was given conditional discharge for misdemeanor unlawful use of a weapon, and in 2020 he was pleaded guilty to felony unlawful use of a weapon; receiving an 18-month probationary sentence.

His alleged accomplice, meanwhile, is also on probation for unlawful use of a weapon. The 20-year old took a plea deal last November and was given a sentence of 24-months on probation. <Source>

It appears that Chicago cares nothing about its residents, especially those in the inner cities, and failed to protect law-abiding innocents from vicious criminals who escaped prosecution with the "get out of jail" version of the race card. 

What makes President Biden's performance incredible...

No, I am not speaking of the drug cocktail that was allegedly given to President Biden to keep him awake and semi-focused. Or what his Obamacon handlers may have promised to keep him from going off-script -- an ice cream cone and an extra episode of Matlock comes to mind. 

What I find incredible is that this abomination was applauded by our nation's allegedly premier journalists and media executives while so many Americans are suffering. 

You want funny, consider the government's "updated" advice in case of a nuclear explosion...

I do not see any mainstream media stories pointing out the simple fact: you are on your own and survival is sketchy -- even for preppers. Or the fact that masks are marginally effective only if you are the one sick and coughing. Or that cheap, easy-to-obtain therapeutics might be a lifesaver in the absence of medical professionals like Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Emergency assistance in the immediate aftermath of a nuclear explosion is either gone (as in destroyed) or concentrating on restoring their operations rather than assisting injured individuals. 9-1-1 will be unavailable. As we saw in New Orleans, many workers will abandon their posts to be with their families. If we ever, God Forbid, experience a nuclear explosion, it is likely to be an EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) weapon that will fry all electronics and destroy civil order as we know it. With people killing each other in a rush to escape the affected area. 

This is the reason a weak President and Commander-in-Chief is a national security liability. As is an incompetent, corrupt, and incompetent regime. Or, just as damaging, a mainstream media that doesn't call bullshit, tell you the truth and treat you like adults. 

This is about as funny as the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Bottom line…

Inflation, the breakdown of law and order, and the massive flood of illegal aliens are not laughing matters. But then again, the self-congratulatory progressive communist democrats have no honor, no shame, and indeed, no patriotism toward a nation that has given them so much.

I want to acknowledge President Biden,  First Lady, and ultimate educator, Dr. Jill Biden, people sitting on the dais, and the media executives and "journalists" who participated in the night's festivities -- fuck you all, you un-American asswipes!

We are so screwed.
