SCREW KEVIN McCarthy
I very much like the idea of replacing Representative Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as the House Minority Leader in the United States House of Representatives before the GOP assumes a majority in the House.
I can only say that the GOP’s lack of forceful, effective leadership in the House reminds me of previous GOP leaders like crybaby/drunk John Boehner and the “go along to get along” Paul Ryan.
McCarthy lacks the cojones to stand up to Pelosi and her cadre of progressive communist democrats.
I often wonder how much his longtime friend, onetime housemate, and sometime pollster/commentator, Frank Luntz, has influenced his behavior and messaging.
"Frank [Luntz] has been a friend of mine for more than 30 years. … I’ve rented a room from Frank for a couple of months, but don’t worry, I’m back to — going back to where I normally am, on my couch in my office. But, yes, we pay fair market rate." Other questions regarding the rental and the relationship have been raised. <Source>
My choice…
Personally, I want to see the tough-minded, tough-talking conservative Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) replace McCarthy.
And it has nothing to do with McCarthy lying about his support of Trump before the recent release of a secretly recorded audio where he told fellow lawmakers he planned to urge Trump to resign after the Capitol riot.
In the audio, captured on January 10, 2021, Rep. Liz Cheney asks McCarthy if Trump should resign, to which McCarthy replies: "My gut tells me no. I'm seriously thinking of having that conversation with him tonight. From what I know of him, I mean you guys know him, too, do you think he'd ever back away?"
He says an impeachment resolution would pass in the House and "there's a chance it will pass the Senate even when he's gone." Then McCarthy says he'll tell Trump that "it would be my recommendation you should resign."
It’s just that I am tired of tough-talking GOP representatives like Darrel Issa (R-CA) and Trey Gowdy (R-SC), who are loud, articulate, but grossly ineffective in holding the progressive communist democrats accountable for their often criminal or unconstitutional actions.
Bottom line…
We need a change NOW!
We are so screwed if we continue with the same GOP leadership infrastructure. And this includes Senator Mitt Romney’s (R-UT) niece Ronna Romney McDaniel serving as chair of the Republican National Committee.
