THE PROGRESSIVE COMMUNIST DEMOCRATS & ESTABLISHMENT GOP WING LOVE KEVIN McCARTHY
As a follow-up to my SCREW KEVIN McCARTHY post, I would like to note that it appears that the GOP seems to have forgiven House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy for lying about his conversation with the GOP leadership team.
The lie came to light when a leaked recording of McCarthy’s conversation was presented by progressive communist democrat propagandist Rachel Maddow on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show.”
Of course, all of the phony forgiveness appears to be coming from the Mitt Romney establishment wing of the GOP who wants Kevin “go along to get along” McCarthy to become Speaker of the House in the likelihood that the GOP will recapture the House majority.
As per the NBC headline below, there is no doubt that McCarthy is the “lesser of two evils” – since the progressive communist democrats regard conservative Jim Jordan as “the evil one.”
Kevin McCarthy’s leaked recording shows that he’s the lesser of two evils in the GOP
Democrats delighting in the exposure of the House minority leader's lies, hoping they might derail his bid to become speaker, should be careful what they wish for.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy was outed as a blatant liar when audio of him saying that then-President Donald Trump was responsible for the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol and should be pushed out of politics emerged publicly last week.
Fallout over the McCarthy tape seemed to breathe new life into the most ardent pro-Trump corners of the GOP, which believe that McCarthy should be replaced as House party leader by the far more Trumpy Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan. Many of Trump’s staunchest supporters in the House had already had enough of McCarthy’s leadership well before this latest controversy.
Replying to a Fox News contributor [Tucker Carlson] calling McCarthy a RINO (a Republican in Name Only) after the audio was made public, embattled pro-MAGA Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz tweeted that Jordan was “the hardest working and most talented member of the Republican House Conference. And every member knows it.” <Source>
Tucker Carlson called Kevin McCarthy a 'puppet of the Democratic Party' after leaked audio revealed the lawmaker had wondered if Twitter could censor some of his GOP colleagues
Carlson's statements came after The New York Times published a bombshell report detailing how McCarthy was concerned about GOP lawmakers like Rep. Matt Gaetz and their potential for inciting violence following the January 6 Capitol riot.
The Times also highlighted how McCarthy, in leaked audio recordings obtained by the outlet, had mulled the possibility of censoring GOP lawmakers.
"Can't they take their Twitter accounts away, too?" McCarthy was heard saying on a call, likely referring to how former President Donald Trump was permanently banned from Twitter after the riot.
During his show on Tuesday, Carlson criticized McCarthy for what the lawmaker said on the call.
"Kevin McCarthy of California told his close friend, Liz Cheney, that he hoped the social media companies would censor more conservative Republicans in the Congress," Carlson said, adding that Trump had been "silenced by those companies" during his presidency.
Carlson noted McCarthy had also expressed a desire to have "tech oligarchs" take more steps to "force disobedient lawmakers off the internet."
Commenting on McCarthy's suggestion to remove some parties from Twitter, Carlson said: "Those are the tape-recorded words of Congressman Kevin McCarthy, a man who in private turns out sounds like an MSNBC contributor." <Source>
As for Trump’s apparent forgiveness of McCarthy’s disloyalty – it’s meaningless…
Let us not forget that the mercurial former President is transactional and willing to forgive past slights if you kiss his ring and publicly proclaim loyalty. Of course, loyalty is a one-way street, with Trump ready to throw you under the bus if things turn South or you appear to be taking too much credit for your actions.
You are the sum of your closest friends…
Tucker Carlson Reveals House Leader Kevin McCarthy and Frank Luntz Live Together
Well, we can put this in the: ‘things that make other things make sense’ file. Tonight on the Tucker Carlson show the Fox News host reveled that Republican House Leader Kevin McCarthy and DeceptiCon pollster Frank Luntz live together.
That would explain why Kevin McCarthy puts Frank Luntz on the speaker podium at all the GOPs retreats and events; and why Luntz has such influence over the republican party apparatus…. UniParty gonna UniParty. <Source>
The worst thing that could happen to the nation is that the Romney-McCain-Graham-Cheney establishment wing of the GOP would assume control over investigations and legislation needed to hold the progressive communist democrats and the GOP allies accountable for the disaster that has befallen America.
We are so screwed.
