DELUSIONAL DEMOCRAT DISCONNECT

Other than Joe Biden, our corrupt, lying, semi-vegetative President, I do not think I have seen a more corrupt liar than Hillary Clinton.

She is either delusional (suffering from dementia and drinking) or a congenital liar. Consider her remarks in this excerpt from NBC’s Meet the Press for April 3, 2022

CHUCK TODD:

Hillary Clinton has a lot to say about Vladimir Putin. As secretary of state, she famously called for a reset in U.S.-Russian relations, but Putin was having none of it. And by the time Clinton left office in 2013, Putin repeatedly attacked her in very personal terms. That animosity may have played a role in Russia’s efforts to help Donald Trump in his 2016 campaign against Clinton. Perhaps he feared she’d have a much tougher policy against him. Hillary Clinton joins me now. Madame Secretary, welcome back to Meet the Press.

[OCS: Let’s review – Hillary Clinton approved the sale of 20% of America’s uranium production to Russia. She bungled her meeting with Russia’s Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov when she presented him with a red plastic button that was supposed to read “reset” in Russian and instead translated to “overcharge.” Her State Department, along with the CIA, fomented a revolution in Ukraine and destabilized Ukraine-Russia relations. Not to mention siphoning off mega-bucks from Russian and Ukraine sources for her various corrupt enterprises. It appears that Clinton and the Democrats were the ones colluding with Russians to bring down Trump.]

CHUCK TODD:

I want to turn to domestic politics here. The Democratic Party is interesting – in an interesting moment that to me looks quite similar to a moment back in 1989 and 1990, you’re familiar with, where the Democrats are having – what does the party stand for? How far left? How far to the center? And you and your husband were on one side of that conversation. Do you see some similarities to that period of Democratic hand-wringing in the early ’90s?

HILLARY CLINTON:

Well, I don’t know. I do think hand-wringing is part of the Democratic DNA. That seems to be in style whether we’re in or out of power. We’re in power and there still is hand-wringing going on. From my perspective, President Biden is doing a very good job. I think that his handling of Ukraine, passing the American Rescue package, the huge infrastructure package. I’m not quite sure what the disconnect is between the accomplishments of the administration and this Congress and the understanding of what’s been done and the impact it will have on the American public, and some of the polling and the ongoing hand-wringing. I’ve always thought that the best politics is doing the best job you can do. And there’s a lot that Democrats can talk about in this upcoming midterms. I’m well aware that midterms are obviously always difficult for the party in power. But we’ve got a great story to tell. And we need to get out there and do a better job of telling it. And for those who, you know, say it hasn’t gone far enough, that’s always the chorus in Democratic Party politics. But I would add that in Republican Party politics, you have an even greater disconnect. Unfortunately, most of that party has now gone to the, you know, to the extreme and are saying and doing things that have no basis in reality. So we’ve got a good case to make if we get our focus in the right place to do it.

[OCS: Considering inflation, immigration, energy policy, Afghanistan, and corrupt Covid-19 policies, anyone can plainly see that Biden and his cadre of Obamacon puppeteers cannot be trusted with our national security or the nation’s economy. Likewise, the lawless Democrats in Congress, led by Nancy Pelosi. Adam Schiff and other malevolent, racist, anti-America liars and leakers. The only stories the Democrats can tell are fairy tales made up of whole cloth and featuring mythical GOP bogeymen.

As for proof of a disconnect, I give you the Democrat leadership: President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, a triad of meaningless, incoherent babblers that say nothing as they decimate America with their progressive communist democrat nonsense.]

CHUCK TODD:

I’m curious, do you think it’s the -- a lot of speculation is that this trouble for President Biden politically started with the chaotic withdrawal in Afghanistan. Do you buy that?

HILLARY CLINTON:

I don’t think it helped. I think that is obviously the case. I think that the performance with respect to Ukraine has been excellent. And one of the smartest things that has been done was releasing classified intelligence to prevent the false-flag kinds of operations that Putin was counting on. And also, let’s remember, Putin has been quite effective in impacting public opinion, particularly in the last decade or so, both in the United States and in Europe. And this was largely stymied by releasing that intelligence. So, I think a lot of lessons have been learned. But there is a lot of good accomplishments to be putting up on the board, and the Democrats in office and out need to be doing a better job of making the case. And, frankly, standing up to the other side with their craziness and their calls for impunity and nuttiness that we hear coming from them, I don’t think the average American, frankly, wants to be governed by people who live in a totally different reality.

[OCS: Ironic that Clinton would use the term "reality" in connection with the Democrat Party. The reality is that the ONLY Democrat talking point is based on projection – accusing their opposition of doing what they did; praying that their lies, distortions, and misdirection are supported by the progressive communist democrat propagandists in the media. Or that the tech tyrants will censor the truth and continue to cancel the accounts of dissidents and disbelievers.]

Bottom line…

Hillary-evill

Considering the corruption and demonstrable damage Hillary Clinton has caused with her scandals, it is incredible that she is not in prison.

We are so screwed.

NEW GOVERNMENT METRIC: DEATHS PER GALLON SAVED

It is a fact that automakers meet increasing government fuel standards in one of five ways:

EcoBoost is a series of turbocharged, direct-injection gasoline engines produced by Ford and originally co-developed by FEV Inc. EcoBoost engines are designed to deliver power and torque consistent with those of larger-displacement, naturally aspirated engines, while achieving about 30% better fuel efficiency and 15% fewer greenhouse emissions, according to Ford. <Source>

Tesla relies on large automakers to purchase credits from it.

One example is Stellantis, a company formed through the merger of France’s PSA Group and Italy’s Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Stellantis bought about 2 billion euros ($2.43 billion) of European and U.S. green credits from Tesla between 2019 and 2021, according to Reuters.

However, the mix of vehicles sold does affect the fleet average, which is why high SUVs sales led regulators to conclude that automakers may not meet the 54.5-mpg target.

While fewer SUV sales would likely help matters, carmakers would not necessarily need to vastly increase sales of electric cars and plug-in hybrids to meet that goal.

Full details of how it worked are sketchy, although the EPA has said that the engines had computer software that could sense test scenarios by monitoring speed, engine operation, air pressure and even the position of the steering wheel.

When the cars were operating under controlled laboratory conditions - which typically involve putting them on a stationary test rig - the device appears to have put the vehicle into a sort of safety mode in which the engine ran below normal power and performance. Once on the road, the engines switched out of this test mode.

The result? The engines emitted nitrogen oxide pollutants up to 40 times above what is allowed in the US.

While conservation of fuel is valued by proponents of higher CAFE standards, they usually ignore what is more important: human life. The evidence now is overwhelming that CAFE kills. The reason is simple. The easiest way to increase a vehicle's fuel efficiency, and beyond a certain point the only way, is to reduce the vehicle's weight by reducing its size and its steel content. While technological improvements in engines or body design also contribute to increased fuel efficiency, there are limits to what technology alone can do. In fact, other federal regulations often limit such improvements. Controls on auto emissions, for example, have forced changes in engine and exhaust system design that reduce gas mileage. (Thomas Gale Moore, "The Unresolved Conflict Between Auto Safety and Fuel Efficiency," Journal of Regulation and Social Costs, Vol. 1, No. 1 (September 1990), p. 72.)

The Biden Administration reverses Trump Administration Fuel Efficiency Rules.

USDOT Announces New Vehicle Fuel Economy Standards for Model Year 2024-2026

Standards to require fleet average of 49 mpg by 2026, save consumers money, and advance U.S. energy independence

The new Corporate Average Fuel Economy standards require an industry-wide fleet average of approximately 49 mpg for passenger cars and light trucks in model year 2026, the strongest cost savings and fuel efficiency standards to date. The new standards will increase fuel efficiency 8% annually for model years 2024-2025 and 10% annually for model year 2026. They will also increase the estimated fleetwide average by nearly 10 miles per gallon for model year 2026, relative to model year 2021.

Strong fuel economy standards strengthen U.S. energy independence and help reduce reliance on fossil fuels. Since CAFE was signed into law in 1975, the standards have reduced American oil consumption by 25%, or approximately 5 million barrels a day since then. <Source>

No joke…

Although the new standards were released on April Fool’s Day, April 1, 2022, make no mistake about it – this is no joke,

The goal of the progressive communist democrats and their no-growth wing is to ultimately force American citizens toward high-density housing, public transportation, reduce the U.S. standard of living, reduce the ownership of personal vehicles, and limit the freedom mobility of the population.

And, as an interim step, urging Americans toward ill-suited electric vehicles with severe range limitations, external third-party surveillance, and control systems, extreme temperature limitations, and, in general, being less crash resistance than other vehicles. No to overlook an extreme lithium fire danger (euphemistically known as thermal runaways or events) and the hazards of dealing with battery waste.

Bigger Cars Are Safer Than Smaller Ones

New small cars are safer than they've ever been, but new larger, heavier vehicles are still safer than small ones. It's a matter of physics: Bigger and heavier is safer than smaller and lighter. Large vehicles weigh more and have longer hoods and bigger crush zones, which gives them an advantage in frontal crashes.

In its studies, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has found that a heavier vehicle will typically push a lighter one backward during the impact. As a result, there is less force on the occupants of the heavier vehicle and more on those in the lighter vehicle, according to IIHS. The organization's fatality data bears this out. The lowest 2015 death rate by vehicle type is for very large SUVs: 13 deaths per million registered vehicles. The highest is for mini cars: 64 deaths per million registered vehicles. <Source>

Crash-test

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has developed the “small overlap frontal crash test” to replicate what happens when a vehicle strikes a tree, light pole, or other vehicle with its front corner.

Bottom line…

The progressive communist democrats are coming for your freedom, offering more freedom-limiting choices while decreasing your survivability in crashes. They love expensive gas, not only to push you into less vehicle use or toward freedom-limiting electric vehicles but to increase the government’s tax revenues on higher gas prices.

We are so screwed.
