WHAT GOOD IS THE UNITED NATIONS?

Un-delegate

Preventing genocide

As stipulated in the Outcome Document of the 2005 United Nations World Summit, the duty to prevent and halt genocide and mass atrocities lies first and foremost with the State.

However, the international community has a responsibility to encourage and assist States in fulfilling this responsibility, and to use appropriate diplomatic, humanitarian and other means to protect populations from these crimes.

If a State is manifestly failing to protect its populations, the international community must be prepared to take collective action to protect populations, in accordance with the UN Charter.

It is now time to defund the United Nations and kick their sorry collective asses out of New York.

ALL YOU HAVE TO KNOW: NANCY PELOSI ENDORSES RACIST, CASTRO-LOVING BLACK COMMUNIST FOR L.A. CITY MAYOR

Can the L.A. sh*t-hole get any sh*ttier?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Endorses Rep. Karen Bass for Mayor of LA

"It is my honor and privilege to support my outstanding colleague and friend, Congresswoman Karen Bass -- the next mayor of Los Angeles."

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi endorsed Rep. Karen Bass today in her campaign to become mayor of Los Angeles, calling her a "national leader and coalition builder.''

"She is masterful at bringing people together to work on big problems by staying focused on shared values. As her colleague and friend, I have seen Karen fight for social and economic justice for the people. She fights for health care for our families and education for our children,'' the San Francisco Democrat said in a video shared on Bass' campaign Twitter account. <Source>

Karen Bass: Possible Biden VP And Racial Radical Extremist? – OpEd

Another black female Democratic politician being vetted by presumptive party presidential nominee Joe Biden as a possible running mate has radical ties. Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA) is scheduled to appear with Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) at the July 31-August 1, 2020 annual convention of a black nationalist group devoted to pushing reparations for slavery. The National Coalition of Blacks for Reparations in America’s 2019 meeting featured radical minister Louis Farrakhan as its keynote speaker.

“N’COBRA’s [2019] Convention was largely aided by the Nation of Islam. The NOI provided press, promotional and technical assistance before and during the convention and live streamed most of the activities,” black weekly newspaper The Chicago Crusader reported at the time.

“Psycho-Social” Systemic Racism

Bass, who chairs the Congressional Black Caucus, is a co-sponsor of HR 40, a reparations bill for the descendants of American slaves. N’COBRA has dedicated itself to passing a reparations bill since its creation in 1987. “The 1989 issuance of HR 40 continues to be a prophetic pronouncement of what the United States of America must do to address its Achilles heel of systemic racism that continues to haunt and undermine the nation’s entire psycho-social, political, religious and economic fabric and future,” a N’COBRA “primer” on the history of the proposed legislation states.

N’COBRA is a black nationalist organization that believes the continuing fallout from slavery is the source of all problems plaguing the black community today. Even news that black Americans are reportedly more prone to be affected by the Coronavirus is attributed to genetic corrosion caused by slavery. “Due to the transgenerational epigenetic injury-the forced removal from Africa, a slave diet that consisted largely of cornmeal and fat, and 500 years of terror-Black people are highly susceptible to develop, at some point in their lifetimes, major diseases and life challenging illnesses than other ethnic groups in America,” the group states on its website. <Source>

Karen Bass’s history with Cuba should disqualify her from VP consideration

Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif.) is reputed to be among former vice president Joe Biden’s final choices to become his running mate. Her apparent lifelong fascination with Cuba’s Communist dictatorship should disqualify her from that honor.

In her youth, Bass was involved with a group called the Venceremos Brigade. The group, which still operates, has for decades brought American leftists to Cuba to visit and work on projects sponsored by the totalitarian government. The exact extent of her involvement is disputed: A communist newspaper from 1975 suggests she was a leader and organizer in her native Southern California while Bass herself has played down any leadership role but acknowledged multiple visits to Cuba with the Brigade to “build houses." Regardless, it’s clear that Bass was involved with an enterprise that had a goal of encouraging the health and survival of a despotic, evil regime.

It strains credulity to believe Bass didn’t know what she signed up for. “Venceremos” means “we shall triumph” in Spanish and has been a frequent word used by Communists in the Spanish world to describe their struggle. At a time when the United States actively opposed and embargoed the Communist island, it was clear to anyone with eyes whom the struggle was against and whose defeat such “triumph” would entail. Cuban dictator Fidel Castro frequently used the word in describing his purported struggle. He ended his speeches with “Patria o muerte! Venceremos!” (“Fatherland or death! We shall triumph!”) in an attempt to draw Cubans to back “the Revolution.” Even today, the Brigade extols the idea of “showing solidarity with the Cuban Revolution.”

Nor, it seems, has she completely lost the revolutionary ardor of her youth. When Castro died in 2016, she offered her condolences: “The passing of the Comandante en Jefe is a great loss to the people of Cuba” she said, using the Spanish term of endearment that Communists have long used for him.<Source>

Bottom line…

It is time to stop the racists and communists from infiltrating every level of government: local, state, and federal.

We are so screwed.

THE BI-PARTISAN SCREWING OF SENIOR CITIZENS ON MEDICARE

There is no doubt in my mind that medical costs are rising in an aging population and that Medicare is quickly approaching insolvency, which would demand care rationing, delays, and denials of services. Likewise, Medicare reimbursement rates to medical professionals and facilities are declining, impacting the number of medical personnel retiring and the closure of facilities.

So what do “the people’s representatives” in Congress do?

They do the bidding of the postal unions, one of the larger special interest groups in the nation. Essentially, these miscreants, on both sides of the aisle, have created and passed H.R. 3076 – the Postal Service Reform Act of 2022.

Reform my ass!

The legislation transfers the medical costs of retired postal employees to Medicare. Newly retiring employees would be required to enroll in Medicare when eligible.

While this relieves costs at the poorly-managed, union-dominated Postal Service, it places an unnecessary burden on Medicare to the detriment of current and future Medicare recipients – hastening Medicare insolvency that is currently projected to occur sometime in 2026.

The Postal Service Reform Act cleared the House last month by 342-92  and cleared the Senate by 79-19. The Senate considered the bill as a clean bill with no amendments or needed to be returned to the House for approval before being sent to the President for his signature.

Essentially, the bill's primary purpose is to clean up the USPS balance sheet by removing payments toward health care benefits for future retirees off the agency’s balance sheets.

What does the Congressional Budget Office say…

According to the Congressional Budget Office, the move could save the postal retirement and health programs about $5.6 billion through 2031 while adding $5.5 billion in costs to Medicare during that span and probably much more in later years.

The spin… Considering the massive size of Medicare — it spent $926 billion in 2020 — the costs really don't amount to much.

RINO (Republican In Name Only) Senator Rob Portman, the sole Republican who enabled Obama’s Iran nuclear deal, explains the deal…

“And this bill also, we have found out from CBO, does not impact or increase the Part B or the Part D premiums. Again, some people have said that, it’s just not true. So we know this because one of my colleagues asked CBO these questions in a letter. Some of us were already saying this because as an example, with regard to Part A, people have been paying in their whole lives, but they’re also already eligible for Part A, so they’re not going to add to Part A. But this colleague of mine wanted to be sure and get the answer from CBO. So he asked CBO this question, ‘What is the effect of the legislation on the Medicare Hospital Insurance Trust Fund?

“Here was the answer from CBO, and I quote:

‘Most people aged 65 or older are entitled to benefits under Medicare Part A, hospital insurance, if they have worked and paid Medicare taxes for an adequate number of quarters. Nearly all Medicare eligible USPS, that’s Postal Service annuitants, are already covered because entitlement to Part A is related primarily to a person’s age and employment history. CBO estimates that the legislation’s Medicare requirement would not increase the number of people receiving benefits under Part A. Therefore, the agency estimates that HR 3076 would not result in additional spending from the Hospital Insurance Trust Fund. Period.’

“No impact. My colleague also asked the CBO, ‘So what is the effect on Medicare premiums in Part B and Part D?’ The trust funds there, as you know, are funded by people paying premiums. But the question is, are the premiums going to go up in Part B and Part D? And the question really is, what is the effect on everybody. Here’s CBO’s reply:

‘Our preliminary analysis suggests that the legislation is unlikely to have an effect. CBO does not expect that Part D drug coverage premiums would change under HR 3076. Monthly premiums for Part B are set by the Secretary of Health and Human Services to finance one-quarter of the expected annual monthly Part B spending for all enrollees aged 65 or over, rounded to the nearest multiple of $0.10. To cause a change under HR 3076, the group of new enrollees would need to be large enough and their health care costs would need to be sufficiently different from the current averages to affect the average. CBO projects that under current law, Part B enrollment will increase from 64 million people in 2025, the year that HR 3076 would begin requiring certain USPS annuitants to enroll in Part B to 73 million people by 2031. CBO estimates that under the legislation, enrollment in Part B would increase by between 13,000 and 40,000 people over that period of time, or less than 0.1 percent of the program’s total enrollment. It is unlikely that an increase of that magnitude would affect the monthly Part B premiums.’

Well, in other words, what they’re saying is it won’t affect the premiums because it’s a drop in the bucket. We’re talking about 60 or 70 million people, and we’re talking about 13,000 to 40,000 people coming into Part B. By the way, again, these people paid their HI taxes all through their careers. CBO then continued relative to Part D. This is the drug benefit. And I quote: <Source>

Of course, that is bullshit. Something like President Joe Biden or House Speaker Nancy Pelosi might have said when they told Americans that the multi-trillion-dollar “Build Back Better” plan costs absolutely nothing.

Biden-zero

Bear in mind that the CBO scores legislation based on the assumptions and parameters of the partisan legislator(s) asking the question. So we must ask what the CBO didn’t say.

Since the legislation becomes effective in 2025, the CBO scoring of cost estimates does not capture a full decade. It appears the scoring was based on five years, not the normal ten or twenty-year horizon -- times when costs increase massively, or there have been manifest tweaks to the legislation. Also not considered is the portion of the unfunded liabilities in the Postal Service Health Benefits Program (approximately $75 billion), which will be passed to Medicare in the future.

Bottom line…

This reminds me of an old congressional joke attributed to Senate Minority Leader Everett McKinley Dirksen (R-IL), who allegedly said, “A billion here, a billion there, and pretty soon you're talking real money.”

No matter how you slice and dice the numbers, shifting costs from the Postal Service Health Benefits Program to Medicare will cost senior citizens promised quality health care in the future.

We are so screwed – and this time, it is a bi-partisan screwing.

P.S I noticed AARP, advertised as the source of “the latest political news that affects older adults, including Medicare and social security policy changes,” failed to comment on this legislation that will impact their members.

IS THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION PAYING TO KILL YOU?

As we have seen, the Biden Administration is coordinating with their mainstream propagandists and social media tech tyrants to suppress or censor any dissenting news or opinion if it does not support or advance the regime's narrative.

But what happens when they censor factually accurate information but do not appreciate an independent interpretation of the facts?

Consider this report...

The Great Reset | Is Biden Administration Paying Hospitals to Kill COVID-19 Patients?

The factual accuracy of reimbursement information is easy to check on official government websites.

Certified by the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Peterson Pierre received his medical degree and completed specialty training in dermatology at Stanford University School of Medicine. Funny, he turns out to be a local physician I met when having a benign cyst removed from my eyelid.

Bottom line...

Now what? What's next if you are a senior citizen without a robust support system and someone powerful enough to advocate on your behalf. Perhaps to the extreme of seeking a court order to compel a hospital to provide a known effective therapeutic as a last-ditch effort to save your life?

We are so screwed.

IGNORANCE, INSANITY, AND THE IVY LEAGUE ELITES

Wherever you look in Washington, we find incompetence, weakness, and corruption.

Political-truth

Unfortunately, what we are seeing is the end of a free society, where dissent, discussion, and debate are being curtailed by a public-private partnership that sees the government’s political narrative, propaganda, if you will, being highlighted in today’s corporatized mainstream media and front-loaded on social media streams. A loosely-coupled conspiracy censoring or canceling anything that questions the official government narrative as disinformation.

Witness:

  • The current government narrative that vaccines are safe, effective, and suitable for individuals of all ages is crumbling everywhere except in the public-private media.
  • The current government narrative that a green environmental policy is beneficial to our nation, and by extension, to our citizens is demonstrably false to anyone who has visited a grocery store or gas station.
  • The current government narrative about diversity, equality, and inclusion is also demonstrably false when we see a two-tier legal system that allows politically-connected individuals and select minorities, including illegal aliens, to escape responsibility for their criminality and unconstitutional actions.

We are seeing a coordinated attempt by the political swamp and its media propagandists attempt to distract the American people from the corruption of their leaders, past and present,  and an effort to prevent Donald Trump, a known political disrupter, from running for the presidency in 2024.

As a demonstration of rampant political corruption, let us consider the failure to prosecute the Biden Crime Family for self-documented and confessed criminal activities which, in the case of President Biden, rise to the status of impeachable “high crimes and misdemeanors.” Or the corrupt Clinton Crime Family attempting to recapitalize and rebuild the Clinton Foundation – possibly a way to funnel illegal foreign funds to another Hillary campaign, a place to compensate Cintonista consultants ready to defend and promote Hillary Clinton, and a continuation of a massive political grift.

To the CGI Community:

In 2005, we at the Clinton Foundation decided to hold a new kind of meeting, timed to coincide with the United Nations General Assembly—one that would bring together a community of doers from across a broad section of society not only to discuss our world’s most pressing challenges but also to commit publicly to take specific, practical, measurable actions to address them. I had no earthly idea whether a model so different than any that had been tried before would work. But it turned out there was a hunger to create change, and to do it with unlikely partners who might otherwise never have the opportunity to meet or work together.

The need for that kind of cooperation and coordination has never been more urgent than it is now. The COVID-19 pandemic has ripped the cover off of longstanding inequities and vulnerabilities across our global community. The existential threat of climate change grows every day. Democracy is under assault around the world, most glaringly in Ukraine where Russia has launched an unjustified and unprovoked invasion that has put millions of lives in grave danger. The number of displaced people and refugees worldwide is higher than it has ever been—more than one in 95 of all people alive on the planet today has been forced to flee their home—and rising. And it seems that all across the globe, people are pulling away from those who are different from them—putting our future at greater risk and making it harder to solve the challenges and seize the opportunities in front of us.

To meet the urgency of this moment, I am calling on the CGI community to come together again—alongside new members and voices including influential emerging leaders and grassroots activists—beginning with a meeting in New York City this September.

Just like the world we’re living in, the September meeting will likely look different than the ones we held before. But what will not be different is the spirit that has driven CGI from the very beginning—the idea that we can accomplish more together than we can apart.

While the challenges our world faces today are steep, CGI has always been about what we can do, not what we can’t do. And by bringing diverse partners together to take action and achieve real results, we can create a culture of possibility in a world hungry for hope.

Thank you again for all that you have done and continue to do to create a better future. Hillary, Chelsea, and I look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks and months.

Bill Clinton  <Source>

Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Lindsey Graham, and the threat from within…

We are fighting against the progressive communist democrats and the establishment republicans who are so eager to banish conservatives and potential Trump supporters that they are willing to side with the progressive communist democrats. RINO (Republicans In Name Only) turncoats adopting a “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” strategy which posits that two typically hostile parties can or should work together against a common enemy – in this case, conservatives and communists against another uncontrollable Trump Administration.

Bottom line…

We are at the mercy of Ivy League elites who are unabashedly ignorant as they tell us that the defense of Ukraine against Russian aggression is an urgent threat to the national security of the United States—ignoring a fundamental truth: that our foreign policy is to ensure peace and prosperity of the American people, not the broader international community.

Enough with the false narratives of a corrupt hyper-partisan intelligence apparatus that seems to be committed to a progressive communist democrat agenda.

It is bad enough that the Ivy League elites in the Biden Administration have empowered a Russian incursion into a sovereign Ukraine while the very same Biden Administration is attempting to revive a catastrophically bad nuclear deal with the “Death to America” crowd in Iran --  currently being brokered by our enemies, the Russians, and Communist Chinese.

It is hard to find words to describe the shit-show we are experiencing.

We are so screwed.

TIME TO RELAX: IT'S BEYOND OUR CONTROL

You may dislike the Democrats, the Republicans, or both, but it is time to consider that neither political party represents "we the people" or constitutes the U.S. government.

It appears that an empirical truth is emerging from recent events—one more scary than the one revealed about the Obama and Biden Administration’s interference in presidential elections.

The truth appears that our government is being controlled by its own bureaucracy, mindful of its political leadership, but, in reality, driven by apparatchiks beholden to special interests.

From current reporting, it appears that the Ukraine/Russia conflict may have been the consequence of a proxy war fought by the denizens of the U.S. State Department and the CIA. Claiming another state actor like Lebanon, Libya, Yemen, Iraq, and Afghanistan as the price of its folly. It is a raison d'etre for the existence and funding of elite, incompetent individuals who think they have the answers but clearly cannot delineate good from evil, right from wrong, And that a nation has a right to manage its own internal affairs, separate from the interests, desires, or moral sensibilities of the United States, is almost unthinkable.

There is little doubt that the U.S. State Department and CIA were involved in facilitating the far-right coup that ousted Ukraine’s democratically elected government in Kiev in 2014. Or in 2020, how many people paid attention to Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA), the Chairman of the United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, when he noted, “As one witness put it during our impeachment inquiry, the United States aids Ukraine and her people so that we can fight Russia over there, and we don't have to fight Russia here." Apparently with U.S. apparatchiks like Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman and others participating in the proxy battle.

The point being that the Ukraine war is not an existential threat to the United States, nor should it be one. The truth is that the war did not start last month and has been an internal conflict within Ukraine borders since 2014 – possibly earlier.

Likewise, we are now finding out that our healthcare institutions may have been funding scientific research in foreign countries as a work-around to U.S. laws prohibiting such research. Our government has spent billions of dollars pushing medical interventions that may be grossly harmful to humans over time -- exempting themselves and the manufacturers and distributors of pharmaceuticals from responsibility and accountability.

Unconfirmed headlines suggest that the U.S. may have funded biological research in Ukrainian cities including Kharkiv, Luhansk, Dnipropetrovsk, and the capital Kyiv, among other locations. And that the Department of Defense is scrambling to contain the story. Is it true? Who knows? But it is certainly more believable after irrefutable evidence of U.S. government agencies funding “dual use” biological research in the heart of our enemy, Communist China.

Here in Ukraine, the U.S. Department of Defense’s Biological Threat Reduction Program works with the Ukrainian Government to consolidate and secure pathogens and toxins of security concern in Ukrainian government facilities, while allowing for peaceful research and vaccine development.  We also work with our Ukrainian partners to ensure Ukraine can detect and report outbreaks caused by dangerous pathogens before they pose security or stability threats. <Source: U.S Government>

The battle of research papers and statistics is on. With suggestions that U.S. health care institutions may be hiding statistical evidence empirically proving that treated individuals are faring worse than untreated individuals and that reported side-effects exceed those currently acknowledged and reported.

But even worse, there are few reliable sources of objective truth not tainted with corporatism or politics. The mainstream media is laughable. Social media likewise. As for those platforms purporting to support free speech, check their terms of service and attempt to criticize their owners or leadership.

There is absolute proof that the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services conducted a comprehensive propaganda campaign using millions of dollars to purchase paid advertising from the mainstream media, the social media, and even the so-called alternative media. No doubt with “editorial” support to keep the money flowing.

Where might the truth be found? The major news networks including ABC, CBS, and NBC, major cable outlet news stations Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC, the major legacy media publications like the New York Post, the Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post, digital media companies like BuzzFeed News and Newsmax, and the hundreds of smaller local newspapers, television and radio stations, or even well-regarded podcasts featuring “influencers” with millions of followers?

What is the truth? The one factor that cannot be simulated in medical research is the efficacy of therapeutics over time.

No wonder why we are experiencing an exponential rise in censorship and dissident cancellations. The truth that shall set you free is no longer operative in the media – the truth is likely to get you canceled.

Bottom line…

Please beware of the scaremongers and the special interests using the Ukraine conflict to advance their own agendas.

I feel for the Ukrainian people much as I do the American people who are caught up in a situation, not of their making, not under their control, and with only negative consequences. Few people realize exactly how corrupt Ukraine is, Ukrainian Senators cannot be charged with a crime, and many countries are involved in the corruption.

Time for a re-think of self-protective laws that exempt politicians and the bureaucrats from the consequences of their actions. If nothing other than their loss of employment and accrued pension returned to the treasury.

Time to give it a break as there is little one can do -- it is next to impossible to argue with ideologues on either side. As for most independents, they are not listening as they go about their business day-to-day.

However, you can still bombard your elected officials with your comments if that makes you feel better, hoping that the aggregated comments will be noted. Remembering, it's their special interests and party officials running the show.

What we are seeing is the idiocy of the person being chased by the ravenous bear who runs toward the ravenous lion because the lion is an enemy of the bear. Both outcomes are fatal.

For now, let nature provide a respite.

UKRAINE: HOW TO EXPLAIN WHAT WE ARE SEEING IN THE U.S.

Emanuel

I was very much shocked to hear Mark Levin, a constitutional conservative, support Lindsey Graham's insane public call for the assassination of Russian President Vladimir Putin by members of his regime.

It appears that Levin's comments are rooted in "what's good for the goose is good for the gander" logic that posits if Putin has engaged mercenaries such as The Wagner Group and special forces to root out and assassinate Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, then turnabout is fair play.

Likewise, Fox commentator Sean Hannity seems of the same mind.

"Cut the head of the snake off, and you kill the snake"

"And it's a simple new rule that if you invade an innocent sovereign country, and you kill innocent men, women, and children, you don't deserve to live. That's the bottom line."

"You cut the head of the snake off, and you kill the snake.

"Right now, the snake is Vladimir Putin."

The objective truth...

Executive Order 11905  issued February 19, 1976, by U.S. President Gerald Ford prohibits any member of the U.S. government from engaging or conspiring to engage in any political assassination anywhere in the world.

And the law of unintended consequences suggests that the reaction of the target of an assassination, especially one with access to ultra-loyal covert operatives, military assets, large sums of money, and the willingness to strike back, is unknown.

Moreover, you do not know what the outcome of such an assassination attempt might be. Will it create a martyr or strengthen the resistance? Will it encourage copycats seeking historical importance? Or will it create chaos and further consequences? Look what happened to Libya after the death of Muammar al-Gaddafi. Or what happened in Iraq after the death of Saddam Hussein, which led to the rise of ISIS.

The real problem...

Once again, it appears that the old maxim, "The first casualty of war is the truth," has been validated.

It is next to impossible to judge the state of play in foreign wars. Not only are both sides engaged in psychological operations and spewing propaganda, but, unfortunately, the same can be said of our government under the Biden regime. Even worse, the mainstream media censors or cancels individuals who do not support the regime's narrative.

The truth...

The escalation of pro-Ukraine rhetoric needs to be examined in the light of day.

The Ukraine conflict does not pose an existential crisis for the United States. Many Ukrainians do not view the current incursion as an act of war, but a continuation of Russian military action since 2014.

The only way I can discover my version of the truth is to retreat to "cui bono, a Latin phrase that can be translated as "to whom is it a benefit?"

Therefore, I must consider the following explanation of what we are seeing…

The progressive communist democrats, especially those in the Biden Administration, do not appear to have defined foreign ideological enemies, only domestic enemies; thus, the progressive communist democrats are willing to accept and promote any foreign activity that disfavors their domestic opposition and attack any foreign activity that favors their domestic enemies.

Using this rubric, it makes perfect sense, at least to me, that the progressive communist democrats in the Biden regime are using the conflict to distract and divert the public's attention from the current economic crisis and to cover up the criminality of the Obama and Biden Administrations.

If Putin takes Ukraine, many of the individuals and documents that would implicate members of the Obama Administration and President Biden and his family in criminal activities (and impeachment should the GOP take the House and Senate) will become unavailable. The intelligence agencies will be given new life in another cold war. The military-industrial complex will generate a new revenue stream from preparedness activities and the sale of taxpayer-financed weaponry. The energy companies will profit. And, the media will fill countless hours with repetitive content and continue to blame former President Trump for anything and everything.

This could be one explanation of why we find George Soros and Sean Hannity on the same side when it comes to Ukraine.

Bottom line...

Cui Bono?

Ask yourself why America, formerly energy independent, is buying Russian oil and natural gas and why Russian energy-related financial transactions (including those involving Russia's foreign customers),  are exempt from sanctions?

We are so screwed when the special interests benefit at the expense of American citizen-taxpayers.

ONCE AGAIN, GOP INFIGHTING IS SNATCHING DEFEAT FROM THE JAWS OF VICTORY

Rvr

"A house divided against itself cannot stand."

There is no doubt in my mind that the leadership of the establishment wing of the Republican Party, the Bushes, Roves, Romneys, McConnells, and others, are more concerned with taking back the GOP from the conservatives rather than taking back our nation from the malignant Biden regime that has radically transformed America into an unrecognizable mess with rampant inflation, crime, illegal immigration, and corruption.

Likewise, I no longer know what the leadership is thinking as the old party platitudes: less regulation, fewer taxes, less government spending, smaller government, and a strong military have proven to be valueless as the GOP leadership says one thing and then does another in the dead of night. With many being more conciliatory, they call it “bi-partisanship,” to the malignant regime than adherence to the U.S. Constitution and American core values.

Why not both attack the regime AND let America know you have a workable recovery plan of action?

Attack Biden or promote an agenda? Republicans split on 2022 campaign strategy

Republicans eager to retake control of the House and Senate in November have different ideas about how to win voters, and the divide is causing party tension that has spilled into public view.

The clash centers around Sen. Rick Scott’s “11 point plan to rescue America,” which he introduced this month. He is promoting the plan in digital and television advertisements.

Mr. Scott runs the Senate Republican Party‘s campaign arm, but his endorsement of a detailed agenda clashes with other ideas in the party. Senate Republican leaders say they want to campaign against the failures of the Biden administration, not publicize a legislative game plan that Democrats could distort to discourage voters.

Republicans say two of Mr. Scott’s proposals are easy fodder for Democrats.

Mr. Scott’s plan calls for taxes at all income levels, which means Americans who bring in too little to pay federal taxes — nearly half of all income earners, including retirees — would have a tax increase.

The plan also calls for a five-year limit to all laws, which would require Congress and the White House to reauthorize the entire federal government, including Social Security and Medicare.

Mr. Scott said the proposal aims at government reform and debt reduction.

“If a law is worth keeping, Congress can pass it again,” Mr. Scott writes in his pitch.

A top party aide told The Washington Times that Republicans “will focus on the issues that Americans really care about like inflation, crime, energy and finding issues that unite us and are very clearly at the top of mind for Americans who are dissatisfied with the way things are going right now, especially with the Biden administration and Democrats in Congress.”

[OCS: An anonymous “top party aid?” The issues currently affecting America and all Americans are well-known and obvious. So why isn’t the GOP talking about them now? While the progressive communist democrats advance their agenda 24/7, it appears that the GOP is content to wait a month or so before an election to advertise their platform. Too late to make an impression on those who have already internalized the opposition’s message as an existing truth.]

Mr. Scott, meanwhile, has not backed down from promoting his 11-point plan. Television ads continue to air, and the website promoting the plan remains operating. Last weekend, the Florida Republican promoted his proposal to the party’s enthusiastic base at the influential Conservative Political Action Conference.

The proposal attacks liberal spending and social policies, calls for an end to disclosing race or ethnicity on government forms and requires children in public schools to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. It proposes increased penalties for theft and other crimes, and finishing the wall on the border with Mexico and naming it after former President Donald Trump.

It’s going to be ridiculed by the left, mocked by Washington insiders and strike fear in the hearts of some Republicans,” Mr. Scott said. “If this plan doesn’t scare Washington, we certainly haven’t aimed high enough. And based on the way Democrats are attacking me this week, I said we’re here to say we hit the bull’s-eye.” <Source>

[OCS: Of course, it will be ridiculed by the left – Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, Rule 5, “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” Of course, it will be mocked by Washington insiders as any change to the existing dung heap that is Washington would cost them political power, influence, and curtail their revenue streams. As for striking fear in the hearts of some Republicans, who might these RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) be, and why should any American care?]

They may be in the wrong order, but they are important to the discussion…

Here Are The 11-Points In The Plan:

  • Education
  • Color Blind Equality
  • Safety and Crime
  • Immigration
  • Growth / Economy
  • Government Reform and Debt
  • Fair Fraud-Free Elections
  • Family
  • Gender, Life, Science
  • Religious Liberty and Big Tech
  • America First

In my list:

  • A stronger “non woke” military that can fight on multiple fronts.
  • Community safety and crime control rather than gun control – including investigation and prosecution of political corruption.
  • Closing our borders and enforcing immigration laws, including implementing an e-verify mandate on employers and VISA controls (Re-thinking dual citizenship and birth citizenship).
  • Reduction in regulations.
  • Reduction in government spending by prioritizing needs and eliminating district pork and carve-outs.
  • In addition…

Obama-mug

Start telling the truth about the communist-in-chief and his cadre of acolytes that hijacked our nation with his transformative policies that were designed to deconstruct our nation.

Bottom line…

'If not us, then who? If not now, then when?'

We are so screwed.

THE ENEMY WITHIN

By now, we have discovered and confirmed that the Russians had infiltrated the environmental movement and financed groups waging war against America's continuing industrialization and a robust American economy.

Likewise, they have pretty much done the same thing with the Democrat Party using proxy companies, attorneys, lobbyists, and consultants to funnel payments to politicians. Of course, the greatest mechanism for political corruption is the communist-controlled trade and public unions that run roughshod over both public and private institutions.

Now, these progressive communist democrats are attempting to destroy America’s largest non-nuclear weapon, the energy independence of the United States, which would free the U.S. from dependence on foreign oil, and the continued funding of hostile regimes. Moreover, by being a net exporter of gas and oil, we can curtail the financing of foreign adventurism, blackmail, and state terrorism.

Why we are in trouble…

Turning inward, we find the progressive communist democrats opening our borders, releasing hardened criminals, many of whom are repeat offenders into our communities, allowing the looting of stores with few consequences and general lawlessness on our streets. These are people who are not willing to protect American values. The same people who insist we leave the running of our lives to the experts -- no matter the cost.

And there are the schmucks within the GOP who are actually Democrats in tutus…

Sen. Lindsey Graham calls for Putin’s assassination: ‘The only way this ends’

LG-KPBottom line…

We are so screwed – and the worst part is we are allowing the Democrats to do it to us without pushback.

The first test of resistance to this increasing tyrannical government is to elect a majority of individuals who will put the nation’s interests ahead of their own...

To identify, investigate, and punish those who have pushed this nation closer to catastrophe. Those who have attempted to divide America with Marxist identity politics that pit one class of Americans against another class of Americans. Those who have used domestic terrorist groups and criminals to soften American resolve and promote acceptance of a larger, more powerful government to make Americans feel safer in their homes. Those who want to abolish the Second Amendment and curtail the right of self-defense against criminals, crazies, terrorists, and an increasingly tyrannical government. And those who want to wreak economic chaos and destroy our economy with uncontrolled inflation and worthless money.  And promote mythical impacts of an improbable climate change scenario to control our energy.

The second test is to prosecute members of the Obama Administration for the damage they have done to our nation. We are now seeing far-reaching tentacles of the corrupt Obama Administration interwoven with almost every aspect of our life.

UKRAINE: BEYOND LAPEL FLAG PINS...

Once again, I wonder how we find ourselves so far behind the curve when it comes to foreign and domestic affairs.

Dem-uk.png

The roots of our situation lie in political corruption…

There is no doubt in my mind that Ukraine, much like Russia, was a corrupt state. Likewise, there is no doubt that malignant United States-based business interests played a major role in cutting special interest deals in Ukraine. And that these special interests turned to the U.S. State Department to pressure Ukrainian officials into supporting their corrupt business interests. Including, not so coincidently, the Biden family who sold access to Vice President Biden, who Obama placed in charge of Ukraine policy as well as access to other U.S. officials.

President Biden openly interfered with Ukraine's internal politics when he used a quid pro quo threat to have a Ukraine State prosecutor investigating a company that employed his son for an outrageous retainer -- given the son's lack of knowledge and experience in Ukraine oil and gas matters. What Hunter Biden did have was the ability to move the Vice President into protecting the company from prosecution.

Of course, the Ukrainian contingent of the State Department and National Security Council needed to cover up their illegal actions by misdirecting the public's attention to a phony impeachment scheme over the alleged illegality of President Trump's quid pro quo phone call asking for the Biden dealings with the independent state investigator to be investigated.

Newly released State memos undercut Democrats' Ukraine impeachment story

Just months before Joe Biden forced his firing, Ukraine's chief prosecutor was told by U.S. State Department officials that they were "impressed" with his anti-corruption plan and fully supportive of his work, according to newly released memos that cast doubt on a key Democrat impeachment narrative.

During former President Donald Trump's first impeachment trial two years ago, House Democrats alleged that Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin was fired in March 2016 because State officials were widely displeased with his anti-corruption efforts and not because Shokin's office was investigating the Ukrainian gas firm that had given then-Vice President Biden's son Hunter a lucrative job.

But the memos obtained by Just the News and the Southeastern Legal Foundation under a Freedom of Information Act request show senior State Department officials — including then-Secretary of State John Kerry — were sending the opposite message to Shokin the summer before his firing.

"We have been impressed with the ambitious reform and anti-corruption agenda of your government," then-Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland personally wrote Shokin in an official letter dated June 9, 2015 that was delivered to the prosecutor two days later by then-U.S. Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt.

Nuland, now President Biden's undersecretary of state, wrote that "Secretary Kerry asked me to reply on his behalf" to let Shokin know he enjoyed the full support of the United States as he set out to fight endemic corruption in the former Soviet republic.

"The ongoing reform of your office, law enforcement, and the judiciary will enable you to investigate and prosecute corruption and other crimes in an effective, fair, and transparent manner," Nuland added. "The United States fully supports your government's efforts to fight corruption and other crimes in an effective, fair and transparent manner." <Source> <Document>

Enter Vladimir Putin...

Ukraine, instead of recognizing its status as a "buffer state" between two larger powers, Russia and the European Union, moved toward the West, even to the extent of seeking their membership in the European Union (with open passports and unfettered migration) and NATO which represented Western military power.

Given the natural resources of Ukraine, including massive oil and wheat productions, this represented a threat to Russia, both economically and militarily. A situation that could be rectified with another Russian puppet regime installed in Ukraine. Both logical and prudent, a decision that the Commissariat and the Oligarchs could back. The stage was set by the lack of U.S. response to Georgia (2008), the lack of U.S. response to the Crimean Peninsula (2014), and Biden’s idiotic response to Russia in 2022, threatening to do something if they invade a small part of Ukraine and something larger if they invade more territory. The course of action became clear – the U.S. was a paper tiger and unlikely to do more than a few ceremonial sanctions.

The return of corrupt Vice President Joe Biden as the President of the United States...

Given his career-long failure of being on the wrong side of U.S. foreign policy interventions, his obvious corruption, his cognitive impairment, fecklessness, and an Administration run by a cadre of former President Obama's acolytes and their "lead from behind" posture, the situation was a tinderbox waiting to catch fire.

Boom! The match was Afghanistan, which saw an ineffective Obamacon-led State Department run roughshod over a military who seemed more concerned with diversity, equity, and inclusion than their readiness to fight. It was an abject surrender that even saw Americans left behind enemy lines to be hunted, tortured, and killed. A low point in American history that signaled peak weakness to Putin and his allies.

The Ukraine invasion was on. And Russia was somewhat protected from military intervention. Nobody wanted to start World War III by imposing a no-fly zone over Ukraine and then dealing with combatant aircraft shooting at each other.

Even now, the corruption of the moneyed interests is supreme...

Instead of restoring and ramping up U.S. coal, oil, and gas production to counteract the Russian pressure on Europe dealing with a cold winter, the Biden Administration levied "tough sanctions" on Russia and their oligarchs.

Just kidding! The Biden Administration carefully avoided sanctioning energy production and the financial institutions that processed energy payments. Biden, meanwhile, falsely positioned himself as leading a "worldwide" coalition even though it was the Europeans looking out for their own interests that were leading the charge.

Putin's miscalculation was threefold, one, he underestimated the ability of invading troops who were falsely told they were attacking Nazis and would be welcomed with open arms; he underestimated the resistance level of a besieged population that had driven out Putin's previous puppet; and three, he underestimated the power of social media which sent real-time eye-witness evidence of horrific atrocities around the globe. A war was no longer conducted in secrecy, with war crimes hidden in the fog of war.

What now?

How will the citizens of Ukraine fair after having much of their infrastructure destroyed and lives upended? Will the United States pour in billions of dollars to assist in rebuilding the nation – all to the benefit of Putin and Russia? Will the U.S. turn its back and play diplomatic musical chairs? Who knows?

Bottom line…

One thing is abundantly clear. Obama, Biden, and the progressive communist democrats have severely weakened the United States here and abroad. Some behavior bordering on the traitorous – like giving military intelligence to Communist China in a time of war. Biden has driven our most virulent enemies, China and Russia, together rather than inducing discord and distractions.

We are screwed, and so are the Ukrainians; political corruption won – and even more, opportunities are presented in any recovery managed by the same bad actors.
