CONCENTRATING ON TRUMP GIVES BIDEN A PASS

There is little doubt that Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer should be censured and expelled for abuse of power…

work

The second impeachment of former President Donald Trump is clearly an abuse of Congressional power for purely political purposes having nothing to do with protecting the U.S. Constitution or the Office of the Presidency. Since the former President cannot be removed from office, that leads only to disqualification from holding any future government office. Which, in and of itself, maybe construed as interfering in the 2024 presidential election.

The document accuses President Trump of "high crimes and misdemeanors" — specifically, for inciting an insurrection against the federal government at the U.S. Capitol. A charge that could be levied against numerous members of Congress based on their utterances concerning attacks on federal property in Portland, Oregon, and elsewhere.

It is unlikely that the charges contained within the Articles meet Constitutional standards. It is unknown how the speech and debate clause applies to the presidency. It is undetermined if the United States Senate can try a private citizen for their actions as a former elected official. It appears that President Trump was denied any semblance of fairness or due process as he was not allowed to defend himself against the charges in the House of Representatives.

The good news is that this is a two-edged sword. If a former president can be called to account for their actions while in office, former President Barack Obama, the darling of the progressive socialist democrats, is also at risk for investigation and impeachment over activities during the Trump/Russia collusion matter. Not likely, but somewhat fun to speculate about.

Should this trial end in anything but an acquittal of all charges and specifications, it will precipitate another constitutional crisis.

The Articles of Impeachment

RESOLUTION

Impeaching Donald John Trump, President of the United States, for high crimes and misdemeanors.

Resolved, That Donald John Trump, President of the United States, is impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors and that the following article of impeachment be exhibited to the United States Senate:

Article of impeachment exhibited by the House of Representatives of the United States of America in the name of itself and of the people of the United States of America, against Donald John Trump, President of the United States of America, in maintenance and support of its impeachment against him for high crimes and misdemeanors.

ARTICLE I: INCITEMENT OF INSURRECTION

The Constitution provides that the House of Representatives “shall have the sole Power of Impeachment” and that the President “shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors”. Further, section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution prohibits any person who has “engaged in insurrection or rebellion against” the United States from “hold(ing) any office … under the United States”. In his conduct while President of the United States—and in violation of his constitutional oath faithfully to execute the office of President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in violation of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed—Donald John Trump engaged in high Crimes and Misdemeanors by inciting violence against the Government of the United States, in that:

On January 6, 2021, pursuant to the 12th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, the Vice President of the United States, the House of Representatives, and the Senate met at the United States Capitol for a Joint Session of Congress to count the votes of the Electoral College. In the months preceding the Joint Session, President Trump repeatedly issued false statements asserting that the Presidential election results were the product of widespread fraud and should not be accepted by the American people or certified by State or Federal officials. Shortly before the Joint Session commenced, President Trump, addressed a crowd at the Ellipse in Washington, DC. There, he reiterated false claims that “we won this election, and we won it by a landslide”. He also willfully made statements that, in context, encouraged — and foreseeably resulted in — lawless action at the Capitol, such as: “if you don’t fight like hell you’re not going to have a country anymore.” Thus incited by President Trump, members of the crowd he had addressed, in an attempt to, among other objectives, interfere with the Joint Session’s solemn constitutional duty to certify the results of the 2020 Presidential election, unlawfully breached and vandalized the Capitol, injured and killed law enforcement personnel, menaced Members of Congress, the Vice President, and Congressional personnel, and engaged in other violent, deadly, destructive, and seditious acts.

[OCS: Conveniently, those who drafted this screed overlooked a key statement: “We have come to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the electors who have been lawfully slated, lawfully slated. I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”

And overlooked evidence that the disrupters included members of radical leftist organizations who were trained agitators and wearing ballistic vests, gas masks, and possessed improvised weapons. That there appears to be evidence of pre-planning, collusion, and coordination on the part of some attackers. Also that the unruly individuals acted before the speech ended and could not have participated in the attack as a certified timeline will prove.]

President Trump’s conduct on January 6, 2021, followed his prior efforts to subvert and obstruct the certification of the results of the 2020 Presidential election. Those prior efforts included a phone call on January 2, 2021, during which President Trump urged the secretary of state of Georgia, Brad Raffensperger, to “find” enough votes to overturn the Georgia Presidential election results and threatened Secretary Raffensperger if he failed to do so.

In all this, President Trump gravely endangered the security of the United States and its institutions of Government. He threatened the integrity of the democratic system, interfered with the peaceful transition of power, and imperiled a coequal branch of Government. He thereby betrayed his trust as President, to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.

Wherefore, Donald John Trump, by such conduct, has demonstrated that he will remain a threat to national security, democracy, and the Constitution if allowed to remain in office, and has acted in a manner grossly incompatible with self-governance and the rule of law. Donald John Trump thus warrants impeachment and trial, removal from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States. <Source>

[OCS: Since he is out of office, the only goal, a dishonest goal, appears to be disqualification from future office in 2024]

There comes a time to say thank you and goodbye…

While America has much to be thankful for a Trump presidency, it was not without its downsides. A loosey-goosey ever-shifting organization, populated with inexperienced family members and dodgy self-serving characters -- filled with rivalries and insider leaking that impaired the effectiveness of a cohesive message.  The cultivation of the “Brand of Trump” to the exclusion of increasing the GOP's power and down-ballot challenges to progressive socialist democrats. A president who believed that any publicity, even negative publicity, was good if he dominated the news cycle. A man who has a tenuous association with the truth and absolutely no shame when it came to Biden-like story-telling.

Enough! We made it through 2020, net positive on many fronts – but lost the big picture and support mechanisms that resulted in a radical Biden/Harris administration.

I, for one, am not willing to risk the entire existence of the GOP on one man who can not or will not inform himself about the issues and operates at a gut level as if he were still heading the Trump Organization. I wish him well in retirement but will not support any “comeback” effort or commercial venture he may propose.

There is absolutely no “upside” in allowing an off-season Trump campaign to distract from the dangers of a Biden Administration and allow the media to focus on Trump rather than Biden.

It appears the campaign to keep Trump in politics and the media is alive…

Trump to lead national election integrity drive as first post-presidential move, says adviser

Trump's goals for next two years include "winning back the House and the Senate for Republicans in 2022 to make sure that we can stop the Democratic craziness," said adviser Jason Miller.

Top Trump adviser Jason Miller told "Just the News AM" on Thursday that he expects former President Trump to "emerge as the nation's leader on ballot and voting integrity" in the coming months.

[OCS: Election integrity is a local and state issue, each of the state’s political parties being in charge of the primary. Even when he was President, he could not obtain the cooperation of his Department of Justice and the FBI to issue a finding of widespread fraud that could potentially change the outcome. His legal team was a clown show, and most of the fights were procedural and designed to invalidate large numbers of ballots. They mostly failed because the judiciary refused to intervene in what was a “political” matter.]

Miller said that he believes Trump's forthcoming plan, which will take fuller shape in the coming months, will entail working closely with individual states and their legislatures to ensure the validity and integrity of future American elections and the votes of the country's citizens.

[OCS: It is unlikely that even state legislatures would be willing to work with Trump as he has little or nothing to offer other than media attention – and being a lightning rod for negative or fanciful stories that re-litigate the 2016 or 2020 elections -- unhelpful as conclusive proof of fraud was never found.]

Though he says the former president has not yet made a decision about 2024, Miller hopes to see Trump return to the White House for a second term in 2025.  <Source>

[OCS: I remember when professional communications strategist Jason Miller was recommended by Reince Priebus and Steve Bannon to become the White House communications director in 2016 but needed to withdraw two days later due to an extramarital affair with another Trump staffer that resulted in an unplanned child -- and a visit to a strip club with members of the press. <Source>

Is Parler a “Russian operation?”

parler

Unlikely as it sounds, there are progressive socialist democrats making a circumstantial case that the recently Amazon-de-platformed free-speech equivalent to Twitter, Parler, has a curious tangential relationship with Russia. Specifically, co-founder and CEO John Matze is married to a Russian, Alina Mukhutdinova, from Kazan, Russia.

“John and Alina were married December 2, 2017 in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia. They were married in a government facility overseen by Alina’s mother, Gulnara Mukhutdinova, a longtime government functionary. Gulnara’s mother was an “Honored Builder of Russia” in Soviet times.” <Source>

Matze did spend time traveling in Russia and allegedly met his wife while she was on a road trip vacation across America. The assertion also mentions that Parler uses a Russian digital infrastructure company, DDoS-Guard, to filter and protect Parler’s new website from attack.

“But it doesn’t add up. Non-descript tech bro randomly meets ostensible Russian honeypot, travels to Russia, marries her, then returns to US to start a whacko social network with explicit political aims, in partnership with Russia aligned ops? Uh, ok”. <Source>

We do know it is a coordinated Democrat censorship operation…

The chair of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, Representative Carolyn B. Maloney (D-NY), asked the FBI to conduct a “robust examination” of the alleged role in the Jan. 6 Capitol siege of Parler, the now-disabled social media site that bristled with violent chatter before and after a mob stormed the Capitol in a rampage that left one police officer and four rioters dead. What was not mentioned was a credible study that indicated that the preponderance of planning, coordination, and direction occurred on Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube.

“Questions have also been raised about Parler’s financing and its ties to Russia, which the
Intelligence Community has warned is continuing to use social media and other measures to sow discord in the United States and interfere with our democracy. For example, posters on Parler have reportedly been traced back to Russian disinformation campaigns. The company was founded by John Matze shortly after he traveled in Russia with his wife, who is Russian and whose family reportedly has ties to the Russian government. Concerns about the company’s connections to Russia have grown since the company re-emerged on a Russian hosting service, DDos-Guard, after being denied services by Amazon Web Services. DDos-Guard has ties to the Russian government and hosts the websites of other far-right extremist groups, as well as the terrorist group Hamas. According to another recent report, “DDoS-Guard’s other clients include the Russian ministry of defence, as well as media organisations in Moscow.” <Source: Malony letter to the FBI>

Who knows? But it does seem unlikely as former Secret Service Agent on the Presidential Protective Detail and upcoming media star, Dan Bongino, certainly has the credentials and connections to do his due diligence before risking his hard-won reputation and investing his own money in Parler.

Bottom line…

It appears that "Trump Derangement Syndrome" is either getting worse, or the mainstream media is trying to rebuild their audience while hiding Biden's un-American actions.

We are so screwed.

DEMOCRAT CORRUPTION, COLLUSION, AND COVER-UPS TO CONTINUE

BIDEN-1

Trump’s second impeachment trial in the Senate is on – but delayed…

It appears that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has agreed to a Senate trial to weigh the merits of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s second impeachment attempt. Pushing back the date slightly to give former President Trump time to mount a defense. Let us hope that Trump has the wisdom to employ solid attorneys and not accept the services of dodgy characters who will work for little or nothing in return for media attention.

Unfortunately, there has been little blowback concerning the manifest falsity of the articles of impeachment or the constitutionality of the Senate to try an American citizen once they have left office. Especially since the rules governing procedures in Federal Courts do not apply to the Senate. There will also be issues of who will pay for what will be a costly defense.

With a slim majority in the Senate, the vote may proceed along party lines – not to remove the President from office because he is already gone, but to prevent him from running again in 2024 – unlikely as that may be.

What we are witnessing is a tyrannical massive abuse of power by Congressional Democrats, a continuing cover-up of criminal activity, and possibly a scheme that will see President Biden pardon former-President Trump as a quid pro quo to shield the Biden family – including Hunter Biden and President Joe Biden -- from criminal charges.

The secondary benefit of the impeachment/trial circus is to distract the public from the now declassified documents that are making it crystal clear that the Trump/Russia collusion hoax which interfered with a presidential election, the presidency of a sitting president, and a massive multi-million dollar hoax can be directly attributable to Hillary Clinton and her Clintonistas. How much of the scandal, including the participation of former President Obama and high-ranking members of the Obama Administration, will be given media coverage or be discussed on social media platforms is unknown. Especially with the censorship of media moguls, tech tyrants, and corporate captains.

And the corruption and cover-up roll-on…

FBI Director Christopher Wray will remain FBI director to finish out a 10-year appointment under the Biden Administration. He has six more years to protect the agency and the progressive socialist democrats.

Why should we be surprised when it appears that Wray continued to protect the Department of Justice and the FBI from damaging disclosures that were legitimately sought by Congressional oversight committees -- and to this day, resists disseminating unclassified documents without suspect redactions?

Especially troubling when it appears that the Obama White House, the Department of Justice, and the FBI knew that the entire Trump/Russia collusion inquiry originated as a diversionary tactic originating from Hillary Clinton to distract from her private email server and compromised emails during a presidential campaign.

Bottom line…

While we may have ample documentary and testamentary evidence of wrongdoing by the progressive socialist democrats, it appears unlikely that the Durham report will result in the prosecution, conviction, and adequate punishment of those high-ranking officials who should have been imprisoned long ago.

To say we have been and are being screwed is an understatement.

THE DAY OF BIDEN WAS MOSTLY ABOUT TRUMP

Trump is now free to be Trump…

Is-this-trumpToday was a strange day…

I confess! I didn't watch Biden's inauguration for the same reason I don't watch broadcasts of awards shows. Without snarky commentary, they are hopelessly dull and boring. And, everyone knows someone else wrote the jokes -- with the endless commercials being analogous to the never-ending stream of political fundraising requests.

Unfortunately, in politics, the joke is on us – “We the People.”

Like the progressive morons dancing around, crying out, "we won."

What the hell do these people think they won? Four years of entertainment while being taxed to death while being forced to wear a mask on federal property?

The big stink continues…

Kevin Williamson, writing for the National Review could help taking a few parting shots at President Trump in a post titled, “Witless Ape Rides Helicopter".”

You Trumpish Republicans sneered that Joe Biden was too corrupt and too senescent to win a presidential campaign, that he was one part mafioso and one part turnip. That turnip kicked your dumb asses from Delaware to D.C.

“Oh, but he fights!” you’ll say — over and over and over. He didn’t fight — he tweeted. He’s ten feet tall on social media and a pushover in real life. Trade deficit: up. Unemployment rate: rising. Abortion rate: rising. Beijing: rising. The coronavirus body-count: rising. But he sure did tweet a lot!

“But the judges!” you protest. Fair point: Trump’s absurd attempts to overturn the election through specious legal challenges were laughed out of court by the very men and women he appointed to the bench. Even his judges think he’s a joke.

And so, goodbye, Donald J. Trump, the man who wanted to be Conrad Hilton but turned out to be Paris Hilton. Au revoir, Ivanka and Jared, Uday and Qusay — there’s a table for four reserved for you at Dorsia. So long, Melania — it’s still not entirely clear what you got out of this, but I hope it was worth it. A fond farewell to Ted Cruz’s reputation and Mike Pence’s self-respect, Lindsey Graham’s manhood and Fox News’s business model. In with “Dr.” Jill Biden, out with “Dr.” Sebastian Gorka. <Source>

'Reality?

Most of what happens in the White House and Congress is only interesting to policy wonks and comedians playing journalists.

Those who have left the White House no longer have to whisper their scornful observations in the ears of grateful, but lazy, journalists. They can openly note that former President Trump reads almost nothing, has the attention span of a gnat, and cares only about his own opinion, shamelessly ignoring any inconvenient truths. Like someone who says, "enough about me, what do YOU think of me."

One person summed up the experience of working for Trump -- it appears that Trump is oblivious to reality because he has an environment that adapts to him. And like being stupid, it's only painful for others.

But, for one moment, consider Joe Biden. One, he rarely has an original thought, thus he needs to crib and plagiarize continually. Two, he lacks core values and thus changes direction with the wind and a particular audience. Three, he is an insincere stone-cold liar and makes up his own facts and scenarios at will. Of course, he lies about lying -- even in the face of recorded evidence. And four, he doesn't deserve the benefit of any doubt because he is almost wrong on every subject. In the final analysis, Biden is a stupid person, made more so by his cognitive decline.

So what can we expect?

Cloudfinger'

President Biden signed an executive order formally committing the United States to cripple its economy by rejoining the non-binding Paris Climate Accord, which will not be observed by the world's greatest polluters and producers of greenhouse gases, China, Russia, and India. With a stroke of his pen, Trump’s America First policy has given way to BOHICA: Bend Over, Here It Comes Again. Goodbye energy independence, hello wealth redistribution.

UNDOCDEM

Then there is the executive order stop to halt construction on the U.S.-Mexico border wall, making it easier for illegal aliens, criminals, and terrorists to avoid those pesky passport/visa/contraband checkpoints. Along with other executive orders that weaken our national sovereignty, wreak havoc on our economy, and destroy decades of building social safety nets for Americans. California already ignores federal immigration law and gives little or no respect to the U.S. Constitution.

The bureaucrats will run the bureaucracy. The politicians will continue trading influence for cash and favors while playing identity politics and pandering to this class or that in return for votes. And the media moguls, tech tyrants, and corporate captains will continue to cover-up the fact that we have a communist stooge in the White House who literally took bribes from the Chinese, the Russians, and others who do not wish our country well. A man who sold his office to our enemies -- because he had no soul to sell.

Look for the mainstream media to continue their focus on Donald Trump as they continue their lovefest with Joe Biden.

Those who are politically connected will enhance their earnings, and those who are out of favor will sell political dreams as they continue fundraising.

As we go along with our daily lives, people will think about the sour milk in the refrigerator, not the foul odor emanating from the mouths of politicians.

Despite the promise of a future utopia, unicorns, and self-licking lollypops, the nation will go on -- and "we the people" will attempt to dodge the fallout.

We are so screwed.

May America be protected from the Republicans, and their “go along to get along” appeasement policies.

May "All" Americans be protected from those who would divide us and divert us from our shared goal of a better life for ourselves and future generations

Bottom line...

The clear and present danger to our Constitutional Republic resides mainly within the Democrat Party which was, long ago, infiltrated with a communist fifth column seeking to destroy American from within. All excused and protected by a corrupt mainstream media and social media platforms.

The cognitive dissonance between declarations of free speech and the calls for censorship should be embarrassing for Democrats not applauded. But they have no shame or conscience when they label everything not to their liking as misinformation.

Ask yourselves one question: How can the Democrats, their fellow travelers, and sycophants all support Black Lives Matter, a violent radical Marxist organization that promotes an un-American revolution?

Are you willing to place your life and future in the hands of Democrats?

We are so screwed.

MEMO TO THE GOP

Once again, the GOP snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Brok-eleFirst, by not pursuing the 2020 election 24/7/365 like the Democrats.

Second, by not monitoring changes in election laws and court cases as they occurred over the past two years. '

Third, by not monitoring the activities of the freak show that was sold to the public as the “Trump Campaign Legal Team.” Just reading one of the Sidney Powell filings, filled with misspellings and what appeared to be bogus “evidence” should have been a red-alert warning. Nobody fought attorneys Sidney Powell and L. Lin Wood when they told Georgia voters to stay home because their votes would not count in a rigged election and to punish the GOP for not going all in and backing their fantastical conspiracy theory.

Fourth, nobody appeared to manage the media – and the candidate – so the one-sided message was constantly negative.

Fifth, nobody apparently noticed that the conditions on the ground had changed. The despised Hillary Clinton was gone and replaced by a rather benign, telegenic, but gaffe-prone Joe Biden. The initial appeal of a self-funding businessman/celebrity with overwhelming name recognition was overshadowed by the reality of day-to-day operations.

Sixth, nobody managed the insertion of trustworthy players into the bureaucracy to replace the disloyal Bush and Obama resistance.

And seventh, nobody had the guts to go hard after the criminals in the prior administration. Whether because of Trump’s own legal problems or because he accepts political corruption as normal and customary business, the miscreants and evildoers remain unpunished.

If you haven’t noticed, the GOP lost the government for at least two years…

TestIt is unknown what changes the progressive socialist democrats and their communist fellow travelers will make to enhance their electoral chances in the upcoming elections.

I understand that Trump was an unmanageable ego-driven character who lived in a media world of his own making. I understand Trump surrounded himself with prior associates and other dodgy individuals. I understand he offloaded the heavy lifting to others. In truth, he ran the White House like he did the Trump Organization. He got many things right, some things wrong – but, in the final analysis, it was Trump selling himself and using the nation as a prop. But it was the GOP's duty and responsibility and to build-out a stronger organization to combat progressives – not fight among themselves.

So not one f-ing dime until I get answers…

Div-ele

(1)  Who is running the GOP?

(2)  Who is funding the GOP, and what is the cash-on-hand balance?

(3)  How is the rift between the Establishment (Bushies), Trump supporters, and the conservatives being handled?

(4)  Who are the candidates that will be supported in the 2022 primary, especially with primary-challenges in critical districts?

(5)  Who are the likely candidates for 2024, and how disruptive and destructive will they be to other GOP challengers? Will they burn down the house to win the primary – and lose the general election?

(6)  What is the platform – and spare me the platitudes of needing to save the country from the progressives?

(7)  How will we purge the professional politicians and those RINOs willing to "go along to get along?"

(8)  Who is willing to limit the use of the Republican label and punish those who defy the party? Say what you will about the Democrats; they often march in lockstep and punish the transgressors in their own party.

Bottom line…

Thumbs-down

Where will we find a leader – and how can we move beyond the Trump cult-of-personality while keeping his supporters?

Where will we find support to disband the progressive public employee unions that are crippling our culture and bankrupting our municipalities, states, and country?

How will we stop government employees from becoming their own self-sustaining critical mass able to capture and control politicians?

When will we protect our sovereignty and stop importing poverty, illiteracy, disease, and crime?

How can we get Americans to listen, especially the government workers who are isolated from the worst of our economy and the consequences of their actions?

We are so screwed.

HOW BAD IS IT?

I keep hearing how Donald Trump’s capitol rally speech to his supporters on January 6, 2021, was the single worst thing to happen to the United States in the Trump era -- even worse than Trump's loss to Biden...

Despite Donald Trump actually saying, “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”, it appears that a small number of professionally-trained activists/agitators led a small crowd of useful idiots on a march through the Capitol Building – ending in the death of a woman trying to breach a barricaded door to an area that contained legislators.

If you watch the videos closely, you will see that the great majority of the crowd appear to be curious, excitement-seeking individuals who were taking selfies and grabbing souvenirs. For anyone trained in fomenting riots, you can see individuals with gas masks, ballistic vests, improvised weapons, and backpacks – some of which facilitated a change of clothing and appearance as they tried to fade back through the crowd.

One such individual, standing next to the woman who was shot and killed, was a trained agitator associated with Black Lives Matter and Antifa who can be seen on various videos promoting “revolution” and urging the crowd to burn the place down. Importantly, an examination of the timeline shows that the Capitol Building was breached before the Trump Rally ended, and marchers could make their way to the Capitol Complex.

Why this was so bad is that this event, repeated endlessly on the progressive mainstream media along with anti-Trump rhetoric, provided a raison d'être for the Democrats and Anti-Trump establishment GOP to increase authoritarian surveillance and control over ordinary American citizens, increase unwarranted safeguards for government officials at the public’s expense, and to mobilize the media moguls, tech titans, and corporate captains to increase their censorship of public communications.

Supreme

I disagree – bad, yes, but not the worst thing to occur during the Trump era…

I contend that a single act of misfeasance (an act that is legal but improperly performed) and nonfeasance (a failure to act that results in harm) by the Supreme Court, specifically by Chief Justice John Roberts, was responsible for much of what is occurring in America today.

Basically, the Pennsylvania petitioners were asking the United States Supreme Court to rule that the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania must obey the dictates of the United States Constitution and Pennsylvania's Constitution, which is the supreme law within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In essence, overturning those unconstitutional laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines that affected the 2020 general election leading to serious allegations that the election's integrity was compromised and the tally uncertifiable under the law. Additionally, the Supreme Court’s ruling would have created a precedent that must be followed in the other battleground states that took similar unconstitutional actions.

Sc-wc-hdr
QUESTIONS PRESENTED

1. Do the Elections and Electors Clauses of the United States Constitution permit Pennsylvania to violate its state constitution’s restrictions on its lawmaking power when enacting legislation for the conduct of federal elections?

[OCS: The petitioners ask the Supreme Court to reaffirm that a state MUST follow the U.S. Constitution and its own State Constitution.]

2. Do the First and Fourteenth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution permit the dismissal of Petitioners’ claims with prejudice, on the basis of laches, where doing so foreclosed any opportunity for Petitioners to seek retrospective and prospective relief for ongoing constitutional violations?

[OCS: The petitioners are asking the Court to resolve a “catch-22” issue where the lower court ruled the petitioners lack standing because an alleged harm has not yet occurred – and they lack standing because they waited too long (doctrine of laches) to file their case after the alleged harm occurred.]

The Court’s big eff-you to Americans…

order

No explanation, no vote, no majority opinion, no dissent.

What makes this the worst single event during the Trump era is four-fold…

(1)  The Supreme Court refused to uphold, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.

(2)  The Supreme Court interfered in a presidential election, by its inaction, that most likely changed the outcome pf the election and the public's perception of election integrity.

(3)  The Supreme Court was responsible for much of the political turmoil that is leading to the increased surveillance of American citizens and the lessening of American freedoms.

(4)  The Supreme Court has demonstrated, once again, it is no longer a credible and trustworthy institution in the time of hyper-politicization of our government institutions.

And then there is Chief Justice John Roberts…

Chief Justice John Roberts, is often labeled as a conservative but appears to be a left-leaning conciliatory centrist who is allegedly concerned with restoring the Court’s reputation as a non-political body. Again to the benefit of the progressives and against the Constitution, he clearly erred when he voted with the progressives on the bench to rule that the Affordable Care Act was Constitutional despite clear evidence to the contrary. This latest refusal to take a principled stand, possibly to insulate the Court from political criticism, is ill-considered.

The Supreme Court is still the weakest branch of government…

While the Supreme Court can rule, it remains up to the Executive Branch to enforce its dictates. The lower Courts are all creations of Congress and are steeped in partisanship. Most people either skip over the ballot selection of judges or vote by name, color, ethnicity or make a random selection. Yet, these are the people who safeguard our freedoms.

Bottom line…

If anyone can supply an alternative scenario, feel free to email me using the above link.

Much of the legal defense of the Trump Campaign was a clown show. Incompetently prepared lawsuits full of misspellings and other errors were presented mostly in the media, and the court filings were never as robust as the ones revealed in public. There is little doubt in my mind that the GOP lost the Georgia Senate run-offs due to the Sidney Powell/L. Lin Wood freak show that conflated suspicious declarations and statistical musings with proof of election fraud. Not to mention that L. Lin Wood told Georgia GOP voters to stay home because their vote would not count in a rigged election.

Even worse, we are hearing rumblings that President Joe Biden will have little more than a ceremonial role as a spokesperson, Vice President Kamala Harris will be sidetracked with trivial projects, and that the real power behind the throne will be Barack Obama through his lying, but loyal, surrogate Susan Rice.

We are so screwed – especially with an untrustworthy Supreme Court going into the Biden era. Where the mental competency of the President can be questioned, especially after actual brain damage (aneurysms) and the likelihood of un-American activities and institutionalized racism as the Democrats attempt to turn American into a one-party nation, much like California is a one-party state.

WILL McDONALD'S TURN WOKE?

MCWOKE

I go to McDonald’s for relatively cheap, quality-standardized fast food, not for the consensus political opinion of the company’s corporate leadership…

MCDONALD’S SAYS IT IS PAUSING ITS POLITICAL DONATIONS

McDonald’s has paused all of its political giving and is reviewing its policies on donations in the aftermath of an attack on the U.S. Capitol last week by backers of outgoing President Donald Trump.

“We have already paused all of our political giving while we review our policies and procedures,” the company said in a statement emailed to Restaurant Business. “Going forward, we will ensure that all contributions continue to align with our values and the purpose of our business.”

[OCS: Your values should be value-priced good fast food, a clean and safe environment, fair treatment of employees, and respect for your community. The purpose of the company is to provide an acceptable return on the shareholder’s investment.]

McDonald’s itself gives little to political candidates. But it has a political action committee (PAC) that takes donations from employees and franchisees and makes donations. That committee is active, having given more than $500,000 to candidates for federal political office during the most recent election cycle, according to data from Open Secrets.

[OCS: I was not aware that the PAC polled their donors before dispensing political largess.]

Nearly two-thirds of those funds went to Republican candidates. And more than $100,000 went to Republicans who voted against the certification of the November election of President-Elect Joe Biden.

A McDonald’s spokesperson said the company’s pause on political giving includes the PAC.

The moves came days after a mob of President Donald Trump’s supporters attacked the U.S. Capitol, leading to five deaths, numerous injuries, and considerable damage. The attack, which came after Trump urged his supporters to march to the Capitol, led the U.S. House of Representatives to impeach the president for a second time on Wednesday.

[OCS: First, I distinctly heard President Trump say, “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.” Second, it was a relatively few numbers of individuals that entered the Capitol building when compared with the overall size of the crowd. Third, it appears that the crowd was seeded with hardcore Antifa and Black Lives Matter agitators who had gas masks, ballistic vests, and improvised weapons. And fourth, it appears that a number of the individuals were driven by the excitement of the moment and the opportunity to take selfies and grab souvenirs. Those who were entering the Capitol complex grounds did so even before the President finished his speech.]

McDonald’s quickly took a stand on the attack last week. CEO Chris Kempczinski on Friday sent a letter to the system condemning the attacks and endorsing a statement from a group of U.S. business leaders blaming Trump and other politicians for inciting the violence.

[OCS: I wonder how CEO Chris Kempczinski explains why McDonald’s Global Headquarters is located in Chicago, a city famous for its political corruption and located in a state noted for the number of jailed politicians? But really, I want Kempczinski to improve the company’s often out-of-service soft-serve ice cream machines and leave the McRib sandwich on the menu.]

McDonald’s political action committee donated $504,000 to federal candidates during the 2020 election cycle, 63% of which went to Republicans, according to Open Secrets.

The committee did not donate to any of the six senators who voted against certification. But it donated heavily to representatives that voted against certification. Its donations include $7,500 to Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California, and $10,000 to North Carolina’s Virginia Foxx. <Source>

[OCS: Why these politicians and not others?]

Bottom line…

Enough is enough. Let the media moguls, tech tyrants, and corporate captains donate their personal funds to the politicians of their choice. Quit dipping into the corporate till to virtue-signal your wokeness. Especially not spending corporate funds on racist Marxist groups bent on revolution and destroying the very capitalist system that allowed America to grow and prosper.

Enough of this bullshit. Do your job and make your company and America better.
