SCREW JUNETEENTH AND HONORING GEORGE FLOYD -- HYPOCRISY ON STEROIDS
Juneteenth commemorates the Union Army's declaration of the end of slavery in Texas on June 19, 1865. Or, as the kids say, BFD!
For those who know their history, June 19th, 1865, comes more than two years after President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation in the midst of the Civil War.
On September 22, 1862, President Abraham Lincoln issued the preliminary Emancipation Proclamation, which declared that as of January 1, 1863, all enslaved people in the states currently engaged in rebellion against the Union “shall be then, thenceforward, and forever free.”
Lincoln didn’t actually free any of the approximately 4 million men, women and children held in slavery in the United States when he signed the formal Emancipation Proclamation the following January. The document applied only to enslaved people in the Confederacy, and not to those in the border states that remained loyal to the Union.
Texas declared its secession from the Union on February 1, 1861, and joined the Confederate States on March 2, 1861, after it had replaced its governor, Sam Houston, who had refused to take an oath of allegiance to the Confederacy.
There is virtually no valid historical reason to make June 19th a national holiday other than continue the race-based narrative promoted by the progressive communist democrats.
Why are we honoring a criminal and denigrating the police officers that keep our communities safe?
Every time I see an homage to George Floyd, a drug-addled low-life criminal who managed to die, probably of a drug overdose and underlying medical conditions on camera, I think to myself that behind the scenes are the virtue-signaling progressive communist democrats trying to destroy America from within. But, of course, the same can be said of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, and all the others who died while resisting arrest.
The truth is that there are relatively few egregious police use of force incidents in America. But, unfortunately, those few are amplified and repeated endlessly by progressive communist democrats and their propagandists in the mainstream media. Characterized as martyrs, few realize that they are the useful idiots that are now martyrs for the communist cause.
The truth is that we are instilling an irrational fear of the police in our children, especially by pointing to gun-toting felons, individuals with outstanding warrants, and those who would rather take their chances by running rather than surrendering and going to prison.
Has anyone noticed that most inner-city communities are riddled with drug gangs and that law-abiding citizens would rather suffer in silence than cooperate with law enforcement to remove the bad guys from the streets? They are afraid because the progressive communist democrats refuse to fully charge criminals and then find ways to release them back into the community before trial. To intimidate, maim, or kill witnesses. These progressives scream about stricter gun control but almost always plea bargain away gun charges.
I find it ironic that white folks explain how the black man is systemically oppressed while they are the very people who hold power and that, by their own words, are the systematic oppressors.
It makes absolutely no sense until you realize that these white folks mostly hate themselves, America, and the idea of a fluid class system that renders them irrelevant as arbiters of everything important. They want a race war. They want combat on the streets. So they welcome communist front organizations like Antifa and Black Lives Matter while giving them a pass for the egregious crimes they commit.
To be oppressed, you must give your permission...
Ask yourself, what is the process of victimization? For example, just being declared a victim by a political entity for the politicians and their party to gain political power is not enough -- you must agree to victimhood and the gross political exploitation of your person, time, energy, money based on some cognizable class or characteristic. The process can either be subtle or abrupt. However, it usually exploits an individual’s own weaknesses; the lack of self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-confidence -- along with a willingness to accept conditions (poverty, poor education, crime) that truly victimize the individual.
Bottom line…
And before you start labeling people as racists, consider the fact that you might be the real racist. For example, promoting Critical Race Theory that labels whites as oppressors and everyone else as oppressed is absolute racism. Likewise, teaching children that Martin Luther King was wrong when he wished for a color-blind society where you are judged by the content of your character and not the color of your skin is racism.
Like Palestinians indoctrinating their children to hate Jews and to pray for the destruction of Israel, there are those progressive communist democrats in our country that are doing the same thing – using Critical Race Theory -- to teach our children to hate others who do not look like them and to pray for the destruction of our religion and our political system so that man can be “perfected” by communism – the religion of the all-powerful state.
Wake up. Say NO! HELL NO!
We are at war, and if you love your freedom, family, and country, you need to push back.
Stand up and call bullshit. Vote – with your ballot, your feet, your money, and your time and attention.
We are so screwed.
