Communities across the nation are facing the possibility of civil unrest based on false narratives about policing...

There is no doubt in my mind that we are experiencing a profound, abrupt, and dangerous shift in local politics. Where all of the laws and protective procedures of law enforcement are being eliminated or corrupted by local politicians as they pander to their minority political base and maintain their party's preferred narrative.

The idea that duly sworn, trained, and armed police officers will require the politician's explicit permission to protect the lives of citizens and both public and private property on a case-by-case basis is extremely dangerous; first to the officer, and second to members of the community.

Reporting versus narrative…

Because citizens are generally unaware of law enforcement decisions executed at split-second speed, many interactions can be characterized and portrayed as nefarious by activists and agitators seeking to advance a corrupt and dangerous political narrative. Even worse, we seem to find that mainstream media appears no longer bound by journalistic ethics to report facts, but feel free to substitute a biased narrative. A narrative conditioned by the reporter's own worldview or by a corporate-driven directive.

An egregious example can be found with CBS’s editing of the police-released bodycam footage of a thirteen-year-old suspect shot by the police in a dark alley.

It appears that the media outlet manipulated a portion of the footage showing the teenager with a gun and concentrated on the shooting while the teenager had his hands raised in the air. The full footage appears to show a continuous motion whereby the officer cannot see the gun is being tossed behind a fence, nor can the officer see the subject's hand as the suspect turns toward the officer. A split-second decision by an officer facing an armed assailant in a dark alley is being used to paint a false narrative of another wanton police killing and provide another false narrative supporting agitator-led protesters rioting, looting, and destroying property.

Busted: CBS reportedly caught editing out visible gun in Adam Toledo bodycam video

CBS News was recently called out for deceptively editing out the visibility of the firearm in possession of 13-year-old Adam Toledo from the bodycam footage recently released by Chicago Police. While it doesn’t change the facts relevant to the case, the deceptive editing performed by CBS News is concerning coming from an established mainstream news media outlet.

The March 29th officer-involved shooting of Adam Toledo comes at a time where criticism of police, especially regarding in-custody deaths and officer-involved shootings, is resulting in numerous protests and, at times, riots in cities across the country. With this in mind, it is pivotal that facts and evidence related to this fatal officer-involved shooting in Chicago be presented as accurately as possible.

On April 15th, CBS News shared a tweet online showcasing the recently released bodycam footage from the critical incident where a Chicago Police officer shot Toledo.

To the untrained eye, the video footage shared by CBS News looks like a standard presentation of bodycam footage. Except, upon closer inspection, CBS News clearly altered the aspect ratio of the original bodycam footage to the point where the firearm allegedly in the possession of Toledo during the incident is no longer visible. Another glaringly obvious tell regarding the deceptively edited footage by CBS News is the fact that in the upper right hand corner of the video footage shared from their official Twitter account, it can be seen that the superimposed date and timestamp from the original footage is cut off by roughly 50%. <Source>

Your political party, your politicians, and your city’s leadership are rapidly becoming the enemy of the people…

One overriding fact is that "We the People" are rapidly losing access to the community-based means to remain safe in our person, our homes, places of employment, and everywhere else, in general. This change in threat protection is rapidly producing a day of reckoning and decision-making. Where ordinary law-abiding citizens watch their city's leadership order law enforcement to "stand down" while agitator-led rioters and opportunistic criminals riot, loot, and burn property with relative impunity. Knowing that they will be mostly unopposed by law enforcement, described and feted as "mostly peaceful protesters" in the media. And released by a liberal-influenced judicial system with a slap on the wrist if prosecuted.

At this point, the political leadership appears more afraid of breaking the narrative set by their political party or condemnation by the mainstream media than they do of their constituents who voted them into office to represent their concerns and maintain law and order -- and general peace within the community. Part of the problem may be that some of the politician's largest and most prominent donors and special interests may be profiting from the chaos. Only the "little people" whose entire life is affected by losing their livelihood will suffer mightily.

It’s always the system to blame, never the individual – excerpts from Chicago Mayor’s presser…

Mayor Lori Lightfoot: (03:19)
Two facts about this tragedy remain clear. First, in the middle of the night, this child was in contact with an adult who had a gun and then ended up being shot and killed by a police officer. Second, there are too many young people in our city, boys and girls alike, who have been left vulnerable by systemic failures that we simply must fix.

[OCS: What adult -- a gang member? And what of the child’s parents? An armed seventh-grader roaming the back streets of Chicago at 2:30 a.m.? No mention of a possible gang connection? This is not a systemic failure, except in the eyes of a progressive socialist democrat.]

Mayor Lori Lightfoot: (03:48)
These two realities urge us to reckon with and address the relationship between police, our communities, and especially our young people. And in turn, we must deal with the cancerous role of illegal firearms that plague every Chicago community.

[No, we must first address the relationship between the child and his parents. Parents who are partially to blame for the circumstances surrounding this shooting. The gun is innocent; the individual holding it is not.]

Mayor Lori Lightfoot: (04:09)
We must continue to face and not ignore the fact that Chicago, as well as way too many parts of our country, has a long legacy of police violence and police misconduct that have left far too many residents, especially those who are black and brown, in a constant state of fear and pain. This legacy has only been exacerbated by the many challenges that have hit us as a city and individually over this past year alone, from the worst public health crisis in a hundred years to the worst economic crisis we’ve seen in at least 75 years, and to the most civil unrest we’ve seen maybe ever but certainly in the last 50 years. Each of these challenges alone have been hard and breathtaking in scope, but all of them have come at the same time and keep reverberating across our city, making it sometimes feel easier to focus on their immediate impacts and instead of the ways in which they stem from systemic issues that simmer beneath the surface of our city, of our society. Issues like generational poverty, disinvestment, and yes, racism.

[OCS: Dump on the police and continue the progressive socialist democrat narrative.]

Mayor Lori Lightfoot: (05:24)
When left untreated, these systemic issues become malignant growths that manifest themselves in violence and the lack of opportunity. These growths then spread to our most vulnerable communities and jeopardize the health, wellbeing and access to opportunity for far too many of our residents. This means that whatever path we create to recover from the immediate challenges our city faces, must also reckon with and address the historic wounds that have been aggravated and brought to full relief over the course of this long, difficult last year. Adam’s death is a forceful reminder that we cannot delay this effort any longer.

[OCS: The Democrats, Mayor Lightfoot, and her corrupt ilk that plundered Chicago’s treasury for decades are the malignant growth. And, of course, they must exploit this tragedy as recommended by former- Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.]

Mayor Lori Lightfoot: (08:36)
We have to do more starting with reforming the Chicago Police Department’s policies and particularly, the foot pursuit policy. I said this in August of 2018, and here we are now in 2021, foot pursuits put everyone involved at risk, the officers, the person being pursued and bystanders. We have to do better. I’ve charged the superintendent with bringing to me a policy that recognizes how dangerous this is. We can’t afford to lose more lives.

[OCS: The officer did nothing wrong. Training and policy prevailed.]

What the hell is this radical progressive socialist Democrat saying? The 13-year-old suspect did not legally purchase the gun. The armed teenager was in a dark alley at 2:30 a.m. in an area where shots were being fired. The teenager did not drop the weapon immediately when the police arrive. So who is this “we?”  Had the officer been killed, we would have seen a moment of reflection by the Police Department and nothing more from the community.

The innocent 13-year-old seventh-grader was likely a gang member…

Various social media posts suggest that Adam Toledo was a gang member (allegedly nicknamed 'Lil Homicide' and 'Bvby Diablo'), possibly associated with the “Latin Kings,” and who may have fired on an unknown passing car.

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A former top cop for Chicago said blame for 13-year-old Adam Toledo’s death should be laid squarely on street gangs — not police.

Garry McCarthy said gangs use “shorties,” or underage people who are paired with adult gang members, as accomplices. Minors can face less serious consequences in juvenile court. “They have the ‘shorties’ who they give the gun to,” McCarthy told WBBM Newsradio on Thursday, as a watchdog agency prepared to release video and other materials in the March 29 police shooting that killed Toledo. “This is very clearly that dynamic, and then something bad happens, and then we want to blame police.”

Authorities have said Toledo, a seventh-grader, was with a 21-year-old who fired shots around 2:30 a.m. near 24th and Sawyer in Little Village. By the time police arrived, they say, Toledo was holding the gun, and he was fatally shot by an officer after a foot chase.

McCarthy served as police superintendent under former Mayor Rahm Emanuel. <Source>

The most detailed depictions of the shooting so far have come from prosecutors from the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, which brought new felony charges against 21-year-old Ruben Roman for his alleged role in the events which led to Toledo’s death. Initially, Roman had been charged only with a misdemeanor for resisting arrest, but prosecutors are now seeking charges against him for felony reckless discharge of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon and child endangerment.

According to prosecutors, Toledo and Roman were walking together around 2:30 a.m. in the Southwest Side neighborhood of Little Village. A security camera at a nearby church supposedly shows Roman at one point firing a gun several times at a passing car, with Toledo standing close to him. After the gunshots were detected by a ShotSpotter system installed in the area, Chicago police officers arrived at the scene within minutes and began to give chase to Roman and Toledo. In the ensuing chase, Roman was quickly tackled by one of the police officers while Toledo was pursued by the other officer to a nearby alley and shot in the chest. The gun allegedly found near Toledo is said by prosecutors to match the shell casings found near where Roman fired the earlier shots. <Source>

"Pigs in a Blanket, Fry 'Em Like Bacon”

It's even worse for law enforcement. After a long history of operating with the tacit protections of their city's leadership, contentious at times to be sure, members of the rank and file face significant challenges with the current ambiguous situations that can cost them their employment, their freedom, their family, their finances, and of course, their very life. The choice between doing the right thing or sitting back and waiting for circumstances to unfold before investigating and writing a report. A simple risk/reward calculation leaning toward inaction in the present and a safer reaction in the future.

Consider what a police officer thinks as the rioters call for police officers to be attacked, injured, or killed? While the political leadership waffles on about “mostly peaceful protesters” and fails to prosecute the known agitators/activists leading the chaos.

Protection, if not the police, who?

Ask yourself how the politicians can vote to defund and disarm the police in the name of public safety? Perhaps increasing the safety of thugs, criminals, gang members, and terrorists – but not the community’s lawful residents.

After losing confidence in the city's leadership and law enforcement, individuals find out that self-defense, direct engagement with the evildoers, may be the only answer—the necessity to meet force with equal or superior force.

Forget the bullpucky about range-training, that first shot in the dark is liable to leave you flash-blind, somewhat deafened, shaking from an adrenaline dump, scared, and confused. A situation ripe for accidents involving family, neighbors, and arriving, if any, law enforcement. But with a chance to remain alive.

Bottom line…

In the short term, we should expect to rely more on our own ability to protect ourselves, our families, and our neighbors. In the longer term, we need to target and remove those corrupt politicians who have violated their oath of office and have assisted in destroying our communities, making us less safe, refusing to prosecute criminal behavior, releasing convicted criminals back into the community, and have attempted to disarm law-abiding citizens, thus depriving them of their inalienable right to survival and self-defense.

What is this bullshit about “healing?” As if we are speaking about a communist collective rather than freedom-loving individuals. As for Adam’s grieving family, “why the hell was your armed seventh-grader roaming the city at 2:00 a.m.?

Look for the heart-tugging media campaign, the wrongful death suit, and a large payout of the people’s money. Doesn't it seem peculiar that almost all of the people that symbolize the fake civil rights narrative of the progressive socialist democrats turn out to be low-life thugs and criminals? And their deaths are associated with big paydays for scummy lawyers?

We are so screwed.

The only way to attempt to seek forgiveness for a demonstrably untrue lie is first to admit it is a lie, apologize, and offer an act of contrition that makes amends for the offense…

The remedy, in this case, is the removal of Coca-Cola’s CEO, James Quincy, for failure to perform his fiduciary duty to protect the value of the brand on behalf of Coca-Cola’s shareholders. By needlessly engaging in political matters, including the un-American suggestion that Coca-Cola’s employees “act less white” or enforcing the use of Marxist-based critical race theory in employee training, Quincey has brought unwelcome attention to the company and temporarily damaged the brand.

Supporting the big lie…

Statement from James Quincey on Georgia Voting Legislation

Voting is a foundational right in America, and we have long championed efforts to make it easier to vote.

We want to be crystal clear and state unambiguously that we are disappointed in the outcome of the Georgia voting legislation. Throughout Georgia’s legislative session we provided feedback to members of both legislative chambers and political parties, opposing measures in the bills that would diminish or deter access to voting.

Our approach has always been to work with stakeholders to advocate for positive change, and we will continue to engage with legislators, advocacy groups, business leaders and others to work towards ensuring broad access to voting is available to every eligible voter in our home state.

Additionally, our focus is now on supporting federal legislation that protects voting access and addresses voter suppression across the country. We all have a duty to protect everyone’s right to vote, and we will continue to stand up for what is right in Georgia and across the U.S.  <Source>

[OCS: The truth is that Georgia’s election reform legislation (Georgia Senate Bill 202) increased election integrity and improved voter access and reduced voter suppression/manipulation. To suggest or say otherwise is to support a partisan lie promoted by the progressive socialist Democrats who want to remove all election controls that safeguard elections.]

On progressive television…

An attempt at conciliation?

Statement from Coca-Cola

"We believe the best way to make progress now is for everyone to come together to listen, respectfully share concerns and collaborate on a path forward. We remain open to productive conversations with advocacy groups and lawmakers who may have differing views. It’s time to find common ground. In the end, we all want the same thing – free and fair elections, the cornerstone of our democracy." <Source>

Bottom line…

Insulting a large portion of your audience is one thing; lying about legislation to push a partisan narrative is quite another. Meanwhile, Coke remains useful for cleaning toilets.

We are so screwed when government and large corporations combine to promote partisan politics – a manifestation of fascistic tyranny.

If I was not pissed-off before learning that President Joe Biden and his cadre of Obama-era Communists planned to commemorate 9/11 by withdrawing American troops from Afghanistan, in essence surrendering to the Pakistani-created Taliban, the idea that Biden would re-engage with the duplicitous Iranians who shout “Death to American” makes me absolutely outraged.

But that pales when one considers that eight known Republicans are willing to join the Democrats to sell out their nation…

Once again, we find the same eight Republican RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) siding with the anti-Semitic progressive socialist Democrats against the interests of the United States and her major friend in the Middle East, Israel.

Richard Burr (R-NC)
Shelly Moore Capito (R-WV)
Susan Collins (R-ME)
Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)
Rob Portman (R-OH)
Mitt Romney (R-UT)
Mike Rounds(R-SD - NOT VOTING)
Thom Tillis (R-NC - NOT VOTING)

These are the Republicans who voted or abstained in the Senate confirmation of Wendy Sherman as the Deputy Secretary of State.

For those who do not remember Wendy Sherman…

In President Bill Clinton’s administration, Wendy Sherman served as an Assistant Secretary of State and then as a Counselor to Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. In 1994, Hillary Clinton assigned the task of negotiating an agreement with North Korea to freeze and dismantle its nuclear program. Any sane person knew, at the time, that North Korea viewed nuclear weapons as a survival mechanism for both the Communist country and the Kim dynastic regime. There was no way the regime could survive walking away from years of starving North Koreans to fund the regime’s nuclear ambitions.

Clinton offered various cash inducements, industrial assistance, and diplomatic concessions in return for a North Korean Photo-op that could be spun as a Clinton administration foreign-policy triumph. A pyrrhic victory as the North Koreans took everything offered, lied through their teeth, and continued developing not only nuclear weaponry but also an intercontinental ballistic delivery system.

A major fail in everyone’s estimation that should have precluded Wendy Sherman from ever serving as a diplomat and negotiating another strategic agreement.

If that were not a primary cause to reject Sherman's confirmation…

In President Obama’s Administration, Sherman was Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs and the lead negotiator in the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, full of secret side agreements and technically in default the day the agreement was signed.

Repeating President Clinton’s playbook, Sherman again offered various cash inducements, industrial assistance, and diplomatic concessions in return for an Iran Photo-op that could be spun as an Obama administration foreign-policy triumph. This time something was different, Hillary Clinton was replaced, and the cheese-eating surrender monkey and chief appeaser John Kerry assumed the role of Secretary of State; Kerry was willing to do anything to get a Photo-op, even canceling some of the economy crippling sanctions placed on Iran and unblocking billions of dollars to save Iran’s economy. Meanwhile, the nuclear program and missile development work continued unabated.

Another pyrrhic victory as Iran took everything the U.S. offered, lied through their teeth, and continued developing not only nuclear weaponry but also an intercontinental ballistic delivery system. As Yogi Berra famously observed, “déjà vu all over again.”

Will the third time be a charm for Wendy Sherman?

After a hiatus with lucrative consulting gigs with Albright’s consulting firm and a professorship at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, we find Wendy Sherman returning to the Department of State just as the Biden administration is re-engaging with the murderous Ayatollahs of Iran.

Biden’s administration had said it was ready to join talks with Iran and world powers to discuss a return to the 2015 nuclear deal. Iran has demanded that the US lift sanctions before it returns to talks. It has also rejected discussing other issues, such as its regional activities. <Source>

US President-elect Joe Biden has indicated his desire to return to the accord, while Israel is pushing for any return to the deal to include fresh limitations on Iran’s ballistic missile program and support for terror and destabilization around the world. <Source>

It appears that Biden’s pledge to revive the nuclear deal with Iran, this time promising to correct the “mistakes of the past,” again involves Wendy Sherman. And for those not paying attention, Biden also nominated  Obama’s State Department fixer and Ukraine hoax plotter, Victoria Nuland, to be Undersecretary for Political Affairs.

Let us not forget that John Kerry and members of Obama’s former team may have been negotiating with Iran during the Trump administration and working against the United States' interests.

Kerry is quietly seeking to salvage Iran deal he helped craft

John Kerry’s bid to save one of his most significant accomplishments as secretary of state took him to New York on a Sunday afternoon two weeks ago, where, more than a year after he left office, he engaged in some unusual shadow diplomacy with a top-ranking Iranian official.

He sat down at the United Nations with Foreign Minister Javad Zarif to discuss ways of preserving the pact limiting Iran’s nuclear weapons program. It was the second time in about two months that the two had met to strategize over salvaging a deal they spent years negotiating during the Obama administration, according to a person briefed on the meetings.

With the Iran deal facing its gravest threat since it was signed in 2015, Kerry has been on an aggressive yet stealthy mission to preserve it, using his deep lists of contacts gleaned during his time as the top US diplomat to try to apply pressure on the Trump administration from the outside. President Trump, who has consistently criticized the pact and campaigned in 2016 on scuttling it, faces a May 12 deadline to decide whether to continue abiding by its terms. <Source>

Bottom line…

Without a doubt in my mind, former President Barack Hussein Obama was not only anti-Semitic, but he was also an arch-enemy of the State of Israel. To see an addled Joe Biden allow the Obamacons to attempt to salvage one of Obama’s key initiatives in reinstating an Iran Nuclear Deal is to watch traitors candy-coat a turd.

To watch Republicans openly voting against the safety and national security of the United States is not only maddening but sickening.

We are so screwed.

BCA Arrests Former Officer in Connection with the Death of Daunte Wright

ST. PAUL — Agents with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) this morning arrested a former a Brooklyn Center police officer for the April 11 shooting death of Daunte Wright. Agents took Kim Potter into custody at approximately 11:30 a.m. at the BCA in St. Paul.

After consultation with the Washington County Attorney’s Office, Potter will be booked into the Hennepin County Jail on probable cause 2nd Degree Manslaughter. The Washington County Attorney’s Office will file charges later today.

This remains an active and ongoing investigation. The BCA has been and will continue to work with the Washington County Attorney’s Office as the case progresses.   <Source>

While some readers may object to this post, it must be said. The rush to arrest a 26-year veteran of the Brooklyn Center Police Department, Officer Kimberly A. Potter, is little more than unjust political theater that compounds a tragic mistake in what appears to be the accidental death of Daunte Wright.

Examining the fact pattern we find…

(1)  In spite of the politicians, the mainstream media, and the suspect’s attorney, there does not appear to be a racial component in the traffic stop of Wright with three officers (one white male, one black male, and one white female) in attendance during this critical incident. The suspect’s attorney, Benjamin Crump, widely known as a race-baiting liar, has outrageously stated that the killing had been on purpose and warranted a more serious charge. “This was an intentional, deliberate, and unlawful use of force.”

(2)  The traffic stop was legitimate, involving expired registration tags on the subject’s vehicle, the issue of the widely-cited air freshener hanging from the driver’s rearview mirror was an incidental matter and not of concern.

(3)  Wright’s arrest was legitimate and involved a warrant for the failure to appear to answer charges of possessing an unregistered gun without a permit in a public space and fleeing a police officer. All stemming from an alleged robbery attempt.

(4)  It was Daunte Wright who resisted arrest, jumped back into his vehicle, and attempted to flee the arresting officers. In a number of cases, the vehicle is often regarded as a deadly weapon.

(5)  The actual shooting was clearly a mistake when an officer attempted a use a Taser to subdue the suspect and accidentally drew and discharged her service revolver. The intent is clear as the officer calls out “Taser, Taser, Taser" prior to discharge and her shocked utterance, “Holy shit, I shot him,” a second after the shooting -- this speaks to the accidental nature of the shooting.

(6)  The charge under Minnesota State law, Second-degree Manslaughter, is normally used when an individual has created “unreasonable risk” and kills another person through culpable negligence. It appears to me, an untrained layman, that there is always a degree of risk during a routine traffic stop that suddenly escalates into a high-intensity situation. Yes, the officer appears to be negligent in drawing the wrong weapon – although the preponderance of police training develops the muscle memory to draw a service revolver, not a Taser located on the Officer’s weaker side. The maximum punishment for a conviction is 10 years in prison.

With this fact pattern, this tragic matter appears to be a civil “wrongful death” charge against the City, not an arrest and criminal charge against the officer. Firing the officer should have occurred after a shooting review board in accordance with the officer’s reasonable expectations of respect for her “due process” rights.

However, in the background of rampaging rioters, some little more than opportunistic looters treated as legitimate protesters by pandering politicians and the mainstream media, we see a rush to judgment to satisfy a mob.

Those city officials who argued for “due process” found themselves almost instantaneously unemployed when confronted by the City’s Mayor and City Council.

Officer Kim Potter resigned her position as did Police Chief Tim Gannon.

Brooklyn Center Mayor Mike Elliott commenting on the firing of City Manager Curt Boganey, “The city council had significant concerns regarding how the city responded to the protest. The city council determined it was in the best interest of the city and its residents to seek new leadership in the city. And we do want to thank Mr. Boganey for his service to the city, he has made strides in many areas to make the city better.”

Boganey’s firing offense: facing an angry crowd of activists demanding that the officer involved be immediately fired, and saying that all employees working for the City of Brooklyn Center are entitled to "due process with respect to discipline. This employee will receive due process and that's really all I can say today."

At the end of the day, Boganey commented, “I lost my job, I still have my integrity.”

Want to see what a scumbag-criminal Daunte Wright was...

Daunte Wright had a warrant out for his arrest for attempted aggravated robbery charges after 'choking and holding a woman at gunpoint for $820 in 2019,' court papers reveal

  • can reveal that Wright, 20, had a warrant out for his arrest for attempted aggravated robbery charges at the time
  • Charging papers allege Wright and a second man, Emajay Driver, attended a party in December 2019 at the home of two women in Osseo, Minnesota
  • The women allowed the pair to crash after they said they didn't have a ride home
  • The next morning, after one of the women went to withdraw $820 in rent money, Wright allegedly held her at gunpoint and demanded she give him the cash
  • His bail was originally set at $100k with orders that he should not contact the victim or any witnesses, refrain from drugs and alcohol and not have any weapon
  • It was revoked in July last year due to his 'failure to not possess a firearm or ammunition and not keeping in touch with his probation officer

Bottom line…

In my opinion, the suspect, Daunte Wright, tacitly accepted the risk of great bodily harm when he decided to resist arrest and flee the scene rather than comply with the Officer’s lawful orders. Another reason why this shooting should be treated as a civil matter rather than a criminal one.

Funny, how many individuals caught up in these police dramas have criminal histories, are on parole, have warrants outstanding, and choose to run rather than be jailed.

It is time we support those who serve and protect our communities, condemning the race-baiters, politicians, and mainstream media who are so willing to back the actions of thugs and criminals rather than those who we engage to protect our lives and properties.

We are so screwed when we let Marxist politicians and their media mouthpieces incite civil insurrection to bring about a revolution that destroys America from within.

Once again, I am getting pitches from so-called humanitarian groups seeking my money to help poor and hapless "undocumented immigrants" live a better life in America. Even the Marxists in the Catholic Church claim they are running low on funds. (Of course, they do not mention the pedophilia payouts.)

So, as I look at American children, men and women, and especially senior citizens living on subsistence fixed incomes in these inflationary times, tell me why I should care about voluntary law-breakers.

Pardon me for looking at our children and seeing tremendous amounts of time, effort, and money being spent to educate functionally illiterate, non-English speaking children while our own children are ignored. The teacher's unions openly invite these illegals, knowing they will require more teachers and business is good.

I wish someone would explain why I should care about the Democrat-made crisis at our Southern Border?

Yes, I feel sorry for the suffering of individuals, especially little children…

But, I am angrier at the self-serving parents abusing their children by placing them in physical and emotional danger. Especially those who send "unaccompanied minors" hoping that the Democrats will ignore all laws and push for the reunification of families that sees the parents "legally" entering the country, being able to immediately access a cornucopia of welfare safety nets.

Well, the truth is that I don't give a flying "eff" about the scofflaws entering America and dragging their baggage and culture behind. They want a better life -- not to be Americans. In fact, many of them want to make their money here and return home where they can live well on far fewer dollars. Crossing the border is only the first crime, followed by ignoring court appearances, perjury, forgery, identity theft, and for many committing the same crimes that are easily excusable in their country, like public drunkenness.

Sorry, unlike Cubans, you are not an endangered asylum-seeker when you pass through a relatively safe country where the language, customs, food, and behavior are closer to that found in your country. Oh, that country has tough immigration laws and may prosecute you if you attempt to remain in that country? So be it. I cannot blame that country for maintaining its sovereignty or does not want to divide its communal wealth with illiterate, impoverished, unskilled, and sick refugees. Those countries are not stupid and suicidal by importing a hoard of locusts to devour their crops, leaving them to starve to death.

I have contended that America needs to enact Mexico's immigration laws into American law -- and provide entry only to individuals meeting specific beneficial criteria and from those nations which offer reciprocal immigration rights to Americans.

And it is not just Mexicans and Central-, and South-Americans that are entering our country unchecked. There are the Chinese, Russians, and others from Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Including spies, terrorists, and hardened criminals who organize and find easy pickings in their own ethnic communities.

What about the massive importation of drugs that are killing Americans and their children?

Bottom line...

We need immigration reform.

(1) Starting with upholding the United States Constitution and our nation's sovereignty by controlling our borders.

(2)  By streamlining the capture, processing procedures, and court processes to permit immediate return, not releasing illegal aliens into the United States without background checks, medical history, sponsorship, and the capability to avoid using social services with the exception of emergency medical care.

(3)  By demanding all illegal aliens register, as per the existing law, within a specified time period. Unregistered illegal aliens will be returned to their nation of origin after a specified date. To enumerate the number of illegal aliens present in the nation. To create an environmental impact report that will inform immigration reform. To hold a national referendum regarding immigration based on their entrance qualifications and desire to assimilate.

(4)  By holding those corrupt politicians who do not protect the Constitution and the safety and security of our nation responsible at the ballot box, This includes holding political parties similarly responsible for their actions.

We are so screwed if we continue to dance around the above four basic points.

With all of the sensational media headlines about mutant strains of the coronavirus…

Israeli data shows South African variant able to ‘break through’ Pfizer vaccine

The South African variant of the coronavirus is notably more adept at “breaking through” the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine than other variants are, Israeli scientists have found, in a first-of-its-kind real-world study. Israel has used the Pfizer vaccine almost exclusively to vaccinate millions of citizens, with a version by Moderna, based on similar innovative mRNA technology, used minimally. A team from Tel Aviv University and the Clalit healthcare organization sequenced the swabs of 150 Israelis who tested positive for COVID-19 despite having been vaccinated.

“Based on patterns in the general population, we would have expected just one case of the South African variant, but we saw eight,” Prof. Adi Stern, who headed the research, told The Times of Israel. “Obviously, this result didn’t make me happy.” She said that the results show that the South African variant, compared to the original strain and the British variant, “is able to break through the vaccine’s protection.” However, she said that the sample size is too small to put a figure on its increased ability. “We can say it’s less effective, but more research is needed to establish exactly how much,” she said. <Source>

Beyond the headlines, from the research paper…

The main caveat of our study was the small sample size of both the WT and B.1.351 variants. These small samples sizes are a product of (a) the dramatic increase in frequency of the B.1.1.7 variant (first detected in Israel in mid-December 2020) (Fig. 1A), and (b) the low frequency of the B.1.351 variant in Israel [14]. In fact, in our latest samples obtained in late February and early March 2021, we noted fixation of the B.1.1.7 variant, but this interpretation requires caution as our sample size was low (Fig. 1A). Furthermore, caution is required from over-interpreting the odds ratios obtained, as the absolute numbers we found, in particular for B.1.351 infections, are very small.

Our study design was not intended to deduce vaccine effectiveness against either variant, since we observe VOCs conditioned on infection, and do not measure absolute infection rates in the vaccinated or control population. Thus, we can only cautiously speculate on vaccine effectiveness against the B.1.1.7 and B.1.351 strains from these dates. For those wanting to read the paper pre-print, it can be found here.

So where is Dr. Fauci, reading the report, interpreting the data, and informing the public?

Fauci: Israeli COVID-19 study misleading on vaccine effectiveness

Fauci explained that the while the S. African variant can break through the vaccines, they are still effective at preventing serious illness and death. In an interview with FOX Television Stations also on Monday, Fauci explained that the Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines still look to be effective at preventing serious illness and death. "So what might happen is that when you get these new variants, some of them may not be protected against when you’re talking about mild-to-moderate disease, but at the same time, people are not going to get severely ill and wind up dying," Fauci told Fox. <Source>

Nothing is misleading about the paper, the researchers, or their work. And misinformation comes solely from the media outlets seeking to create sensationalism to attract audience attention. Or Dr. Fauci pushing a political agenda.

Founded in 1826 in the heart of London, UCL is London's leading multidisciplinary university, with more than 13,000 staff and 42,000 students from 150 different countries.

Bottom line…

Once again, the mainstream media is trying to assist the progressive socialist democrats and their continuing power grab.

Whether you opt-in or opt-out of the vaccine program, remember you are an adult and have the right to assess your own appetite for risk. Personally, I opted-in because I am at the highest risk level and believe that, while I might contract the virus, it might be less severe or less deadly in my particular case. Because of the near-exclusive use of the Pfizer product in Israel and the abundance of quality Israeli research, I chose Pfizer over Moderna and never considered any AstraZeneca or Johnson & Johnson vaccines.

It’s up to you whether to panic and stress out over something you cannot control or take prudent precautions to mitigate your risk and that of family members, friends, colleagues, and community members.

We are so screwed when we can’t trust our government or the mainstream media.

It starts like a bad joke: three police officers, one black male, one white male, and one female, approaches a subject with an outstanding warrant – for illegal gun possession, fleeing a police officer, and failure to appear in court – and while surrounded by cops may have been accidentally shot after resisting arrest and trying to flee in his vehicle, itself a deadly weapon.

According to official statements and released body-cam footage, it appears that Officer Kim Potter, a 26-year veteran of the Brooklyn Center Police Department, accidentally shot Daunte Wright while meaning to use her Taser. You can hear Potter calling out “Taser, Taser, Taser,” which is the standard procedure before a taser is deployed. This is reinforced by her shocked exclamation, “Holy Shit, I just shot him.”

Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz plays the race card when there is no apparent racial intent…

The family’s response…

Of course, the family will portray Daunte Wright, 20, as either a fine upstanding citizen or someone attempting to turn their life around. So nobody should be surprised when Daunte Wright's mother, Katie Wright, told reporters at the scene that her son called Sunday afternoon to tell her that police had pulled him over for having air fresheners dangling from his rearview mirror, in violation of Minnesota law. No mention of expired license plate tags, no mention of an outstanding warrant. And certainly no mention of an attempt to escape custody.

The picture released by the family…

The outstanding warrant for failure to appear to answer gun-related charges and fleeing a police officer…

Social media portrays a thug with money, possibly flashing gang symbols, and posing with a gun…

Enter Benjamin Crump…

As I wrote this post, I was waiting to see if the bottom-feeding, race-baiting, lying lawyer, Benjamin Crump, or someone similar, would helicopter in to handle media relations, setting up a GoFundMe page and creates a non-profit foundation in anticipation of a large wrongful death payday. I didn’t have to wait long.

Civil rights attorney Ben Crump announced on Monday that he has been retained to represent the family of Daunte Wright, the 20-year-old Black man who was shot dead by a police officer during a traffic stop Sunday.

“Daunte Wright is yet another young Black man killed at the hands of those who have sworn to protect and serve all of us — not just the whitest among us. As Minneapolis and the rest of the country continue to deal with the tragic killing of George Floyd, now we must also mourn the loss of this young man and father. This level of lethal force was entirely preventable and inhumane. What will it take for law enforcement to stop killing people of color? The growing number of Black men and women who have been killed or harmed by police is far too hefty a price for the equality we are seeking. We join Daunte’s family in demanding justice for him, and holding those responsible for his death accountable.”

Effect on Derek Chauvin murder trial for the death of George Floyd…

With this recent shooting and the second night of riots in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, we may as well forget trying the Chauvin Case on the merits of the law. This “accidental" shooting in Minneapolis and the subsequent riots make me believe that while the prosecution may not overcome reasonable doubt, the jury may be influenced to unjustifiably convict Chauvin by the current social unrest, the possibility of additional rioting, and the possibility of harm to themselves or their family if they do not return a verdict acceptable to an agitator-led mob.

Bottom line…

There was nothing racial in this shooting, but as the saying goes… “If it bleeds, it leads” and “if  it’s race, it gets space.” It appears everyone will win except the public, the police, and, of course, Daunte – the family gets big bucks, Crump gets his payday, the race-baiters have a new cause célèbre, the politicians get face-time to virtue signal as social justice warriors, and the media gets to sensationalize another story to attract an audience.

It is unlikely that the police will risk further actions that jeopardize their career to bring rioters, looters, and arsonists under control. Already the City Council and Mayor have assumed command of the Police Department and banned the use of non-lethal crowd control measures.

Don't get me wrong. This was a terrible tragedy for Wright, his family, and especially his girlfriend sitting next to him. This was a horrific, career-ending mistake for the police officer. But, I will not and cannot accept those who would racialize this unfortunate event for their own self-gain. Nor will I condone the rioting, looting, and arson that seems attached to Black Lives Matter and others who capitalize on legitimate protest.

If there were any honest brokers left, you would know them by their attempts to defuse, deracialize,  and deescalate these rebellions.

We are so screwed.

Unanswered questions…

We are all familiar with those unilateral “take it or leave it” technology "terms of service" agreements that essentially strip our fundamental freedoms and allow third-party corporations to access, download, aggregate, sell, and repurpose the details of our lives in exchange for accessing entertainment, communication with others, and purchasing goods and services.

All courtesy of electronic devices that can continuously track our locations in real-time and provide data from several sensors, including microphones, cameras, and biometric devices. Where you have purchased and own the hardware, but lease the chip-embedded firmware and software.

Essentially we do not know who is listening, what is being recorded and stored, what security protections are in place, who has access, and what third-party data will be added after the fact.

What makes such surveillance and data collection difficult is an absolute government-issued identifier like a Social Security Number, Passport Number, or Driver’s License. Even the use of vendor-generated GUIDs (Globally Unique IDentifiers) is ineffective because while they can link output data to the devices that were used to create files, they still lack an “absolute” connection to an individual’s identity.

It is known that the major credit repositories and medical information exchange bureaus have your Social Security Number, Driver’s License, and other non-public personal information; but they are not linked to real-time devices and transactions.

This may be changed in the near future if California implements a “Digital Driver’s License” program…

Assembly Bill A.B. 1503, authored by the uber-progressive open borders advocate Miguel Santiago, a progressive socialist Democrat from the predominantly Hispanic East Los Angeles area, who has authored legislation that would create a Digital Drivers License and ID pilot program?

This is the same radical Assembly Member that joined a radical socialist, Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón, to create and advance legislation that would stop crimes committed by minors from later being used against them in adult proceedings. Assembly Bill 1127 also allows people to petition the court for resentencing if their prior juvenile record was used to enhance an adult felony conviction. It is a stunningly bad idea because Mexican gangs often use minors to commit crimes, including murders knowing that juveniles are treated less harshly than adults.

The beginning of the end of privacy in California...

Introduced by Assembly Member Santiago -- February 19, 2021

An act to add Article 6 (commencing with Section 13020) to Chapter 1 of Division 6 of the Vehicle Code, relating to vehicles.

AB 1503, as amended, Santiago. Digital driver’s licenses and identification cards.

Existing law requires the Department of Motor Vehicles to issue to a person a driver’s license as applied for when the department determines that the applicant is lawfully entitled to a license.

Existing law requires the license to state specified information, including the true name, age, and mailing address of the licensee and a brief description and engraved picture or photograph of the licensee for the purpose of identification.

Existing law authorizes the department to issue an identification card to any person attesting to their true full name, correct age, and other identifying data as certified by the applicant for the identification card.

This bill would authorize the department to establish a pilot program to evaluate the use of mobile or digital alternatives to driver’s licenses and identification cards if specified requirements are met including that the Department of the California Highway Patrol approve alternative licenses and that the pilot program be completed no later than January 1, 2028.

The bill would require that the department limit data exchanged between the department and any electronic device or provider of an electronic device, as specified.

The bill would authorize the department to evaluate the use of private industry partners in the conduct of the pilot program, as specified.

The bill would authorize the department to include the issuance of Real ID driver’s licenses and identification cards in the pilot program upon authorization of the United States Secretary of Homeland Security.

The bill would require the department, if it conducts the pilot program, to submit a report to the Legislature, as specified. <Source>

A stunningly bad idea…

Given the safety and security of information contained in government databases, the number of former intelligence and law enforcement officers who have infiltrated the organizations of likely system providers, and the present security of mobile devices, this is a bad idea and should be stopped before it strips individuals of their fundamental right to enjoy citizenship without being molested by the government-- in particular the progressive socialist democrats who believe they have the moral superiority to dictate how you should live your life.

Bottom line…

Without a fundamental statement of your digital rights and mandatory harsh penalties, without plea bargains, for those government and corporate officials who abuse access to electronic devices and use your data without explicit permission, you are screwed.

Especially if the data is processed and conveyed to foreign nations where it remains beyond American jurisdiction. Like the information on all government workers, including information obtained in classified background checks for security clearances, that was taken from the Office of Personnel Management by the Chinese Government.

Our digital privacy is tenuous at best, do not allow your remaining freedoms to be stripped away. Do not be Californicated.

YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki, speaking before the World Economic Forum Global Technology Governance Summit 2021…

Everyone seems to have an opinion about this - what is good content, what's bad content, what content what should up, what should be down? We engage with many different groups across many different topics, and I'd say that's one conversation.”

[OCS: Therein, Wojcicki seems to have revealed the real problem. Everyone has an opinion, some conditioned by self-interests, some by political ideology, some by the desire to create sensationalism to drive profits, and some to burn down the system.

There is no legitimate way that any technological system, even with the best artificial intelligence and machine learning, can do little more than adding up the number of similar words and then act on that pattern. Facts and context being subjective rather than objective.

In the words of Friedrich Hayek, it is all the “pretense of knowledge.” You do not know that which you do not know.

Leading to the best course of actions, present everything, excluding, of course, calls to violent action, child pornography, and similar subjects. Let the people decide. The tech platforms pretend they protect children under 13, but the truth is today’s 13-year-old is more worldly than yesterday’s 23-year-old.]

“There's a different question, which is, 'Well how good a job do you do at removing that content once you've identified it?'. This report that just came out showed exactly where we are, which is at 99.85% [success]…So it's our goal is to break [the debate] into two different conversations - first what the policies should be, and then do we do a good job enforcing them once we have those policies?”

[OCS: Wojcicki is delusional or self-serving. Given bots and automated content injection mechanisms, there is no legitimate way to stop the flood of content.

Want to bypass the textual analysis of messages, place the message within a graphic with odd spacing – much like a Captcha “I’m Not A Robot” challenge.]

“We have been asked many times by governments, by press, by advertising, by the creator community, about this violative rate and we were able to show exactly how good we are at enforcement of our policies. We were able to show that we have a very high ability to find this content and show exactly what that number was. We were also able to show that we were able to reduce it significantly over time.”

The machines are good, we can find content across the board, but something like hate speech, or something that has a lot of context, would be something that would be harder from a machine standpoint to be able to detect. We've been able to really fine tune our machine so that we can find a lot of this content and it is flagged, but it doesn't necessarily mean that it's removed. So what happens is the machines will flag it and then it will be sent to human reviewers who will determine whether or not this is in fact violative or not.”

[OCS: The question that is not often asked and very rarely answered is, how many humans or organizations are fact-checking and manipulating the content? And, of some concern, how much of this manipulation occurs at the behest of  the tech tyrants, government, special interests, and paying clients?]

If you're looking for COVID information, we actually can say, 'Look, your local health authority, the CDC or whatever [the equivalent in whatever] country you're in, or the World Health Organization, those are all organizations that we can trust, as opposed to some channel that just showed up that we don't have any kind of authoritative information about. So we definitely have a concept with information about authoritative sources and we make sure that when people are looking for information that is sensitive, we show those authoritative sources. But if you're in the entertainment area or you're looking to how to fix something or how to learn something about some obscure topic, it's really hard to put some judgment about what is the best content that's out there.”

[OCS: There is little or no doubt that the Chinese Communist Party compromised the leadership of the World Health Organization.

The WHO was not telling the truth about the Chinese Communist Party virus, they were passing along Chinese Communist propaganda that downplayed China’s role in creating the global pandemic and worsening its effects on innocent people.

Chinese individuals trying to warn the world were suppressed by China’s tech platforms and subsequently by  American tech platforms. None of the tech tyrants had a clue as to the truth, continuing to infantilize their audience as if they were mommy and daddy explaining something bad to a child.]

When we deal with information, we want to make sure that the sources that we're recommending are authoritative - news, medical science, etc. We also have created a category of more borderline content, where sometimes we'll see people looking at content or there'll be content that's lower quality and borderline, so we want to be careful about not over-recommending that. That's content that stays on the platform, but it's not something that we're going to recommend.”

[OCS: Most technology-based platforms wrongly assume that the large mainstream media outlets like the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, etc., are sources of authoritative information.

These media outlets are clearly not objective as they present a politically tinged narrative, use the work from many authors with various degrees of fact-checking, and rarely report first-hand scientific results.

They report scientific findings -- as interpreted by narrative-crafting journalists, first as a source of a news release itself that purports to interpret scientific findings, and then through their own journalists. The simple fact is they are reporting mostly what they are told and lack the credentials, time, and money, to locate and report on similarly authoritative, but contrarian positions.

Even worse, reporting what the self-serving, hyper-politicized government is handing out is foolish.

We have encountered fake news in both instances, which resulted in the censorship, automated or manual, of accurate information.

One need only consider the censorship of legitimate news coming from a major newspaper – where information stored on Hunter Biden's laptop was labeled as “Russian Disinformation” before the election and was suppressed, thus depriving Americans of an informed choice. Or, consider the number of contradictory government positions on pandemic-related issues like masks, distancing, and lockdowns. Or the suppression of a panel of highly-credentialed experts speaking about contrarian views of "the science." ]

Unfortunately, there were a lot of people who were uploading content that was not factual, that was not correct. It's much easier to just make up content and post it from your basement than it is to actually go to the site and have high quality journalistic reporting. That was just an example of what happens if you don't have that kind of ranking. So, we want to enable 'citizen journalism' to be able to report and other people to be able to share information and new channels, but when we're dealing with a sensitive topic, we have to have that information coming from authoritative sources, so that the right and accurate information is viewed by our users first.”

[OCS: Not to mention state actors working on behalf of governments to promote propaganda. Unfortunately, these sources may automatically be deemed authentic and credible – even if the content being presented is misinformation or disinformation.

How do you determine authoritative sources in a day when there is little or no real journalism being practiced – especially at corporate-owned media where profits and partisan allegiances drive the narrative?]

My conclusion…

Bottom line…

Nobody is inviting me to the Davos World Economic Forum Global Technology Governance Summit. I wouldn’t pay them thousands of dollars for travel (private jet, of course), lodging, food, and incidentals. So my opinion appears on my blog – and at the mercy of the tech titans who control my platform, and by extension, my content. I could be shuffled off to the “bit bin” should my content displease the powers that be. My voice lost in the ether no matter how cogent my insights or brilliant my exposition.

And therein is the essential issue of technological censorship. I am paying for the right to be heard, not the right to be censored. You have the right to determine your own version of the truth based on your upbringing, education, experience, and environment.

We are so screwed when free speech is compromised by a cadre of elites who believe that their wealth, position, education, credentials give them the moral superiority to tell me what to think, say, or do.
