BUDDY BROWN PUTS LIBERALS DOWN

It appears that part of the country, and I do mean “country,” has a form of natural immunity to the liberalism that is crippling our nation…

Bottom line…

Our nation is filled with ordinary God-loving, hard-working, easy-living Americans who can tell good from evil, right from wrong, up from down, and their ass from their elbow. Unfortunately, you don’t find them in places like San Francisco, New York City, or Washington, D.C.

We all need to reconsider returning to our country roots, commonsense, and love of America.

WHITE HOUSE OBFUSCATES A FUNDAMENTAL ECONOMIC TRUTH

We are in an existential fight for our freedoms…

(1)  The Founders anticipated a small federal government limited to preserving the inalienable rights of individuals, protecting the self-determination and freedoms of the individual states, providing a mechanism to resolve interstate issues, and providing those services which the states could not provide for themselves. They anticipated that those who governed would be citizen-politicians who performed their duty and would return to their civilian lives after a suitable term in office. They did not anticipate the rise of professional politicians who manipulated the resources of a nation to preserve their positions and generate substantial personal profits.

(2)  The most significant threats facing our nation are not external; they are internal and arise from:

(a)  a population that is growingly apathetic and willing to take the path of least resistance – lacking the motivation to look beyond that which is spoon-fed to them by a corrupt media;

(b)  a media that is willing to forego professional ethics in separating facts from corporate-crafted narratives for ratings and profit;

(c)  politicians willing to sell out their constituency, pandering to the special interests, including to hostile foreign powers, for personal or professional gain;

(d)  the acceptance of a false interpretation of our Constitution that empowers our enemies and disadvantages our nation;

(e)  a lazy Congress that no longer considers and crafts legislation, but produces “outlines” replete with vague referential terms and conditions provided by special interests – leaving the actual rulemaking to administrative bureaucrats in the various Executive Branch agencies;

(f)  a judiciary that willingly exceeds their mandate, usurping the sole law-making power of Congress to invent new rights out of whole cloth and falsely attribute their legitimacy to a tortured interpretation of the Constitution; and

(g)  a President, Joe Biden, who is mentally incapacitated and subject to the undue influence of his handlers.

An example that encapsulates all of the dangerous threats facing our nation…

A multi-trillion dollar spending bill targeted at Americans and is more about pandering to partisan special interests than serve “we the people.” To fund this bill, we find corrupt politicians demanding rich individuals and corporations pay their “fair share.” It is ironic because these same corrupt politicians write the legislation and loopholes that allow the rich to avoid, not evade, taxes—often using these very same provisions to protect and preserve their own fortunes.

The bill panders to partisan voting blocks, promising a path to citizenship to illegal aliens, forgiveness and lax laws to criminals, unearned entitlements to the poor, and district-level payoffs to keep constituents in power. In the aggregate, redistributing wealth and power from producers to consumers for the sole purposes of maintaining their positions, generating personal profits, and ensuring their party’s continuing primacy of governance.

They lie to America’s face with impunity…

Reading White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki’s answers to questions on taxation reminds me of a quote attributable to Robert J. Hanlon, “never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.”  In this particular instance, it is the malice that drives the stupid's defense of the indefensible.

The “truth” – an irrefutable fact – is that corporations that are taxed either take measures to avoid taxes, like keeping assets abroad, or passing along those taxes to their customers in the price of goods and services, reducing salaries of employees,  or to their investors (including pension funds) in the form of reduced dividends and lower share prices due to reduced profits.

Here comes the White House Secretary, Jen Psaki, explaining to the public that it is “unfair and absurd” and “the American people would not stand for that,” concerning companies passing along the cost of taxes to consumers.

The fact that taxes on any company is passed along to others is a fundamental fact of economics. It is a cost like the cost of goods and the general and administrative costs that appear between gross revenue and the bottom line on a profit and loss statement.

Jen Psaki, professional liar, dissembler, and presidential shield…

Press Briefing by Press Secretary Jen Psaki, September 27, 2021

Q  Good. I want to ask you about what Republicans are pointing to in the analysis from the Joint Committee on Taxation. They say, according to — if I’ve read the chart correctly, more than 16 percent of taxpayers would see their taxes increase under the bill that’s approved by the House Ways and Means Committee. Will the President sign that bill if — as if — it is coming out of that committee? Or will he insist on the changes so that he will maintain his commitment that taxes won’t go up on people making $400,000 a year?

MS. PSAKI: I have not looked at the document or the report that you have put out. Obviously, the President — or that you have referenced, I should say — that the Republicans put out.

Obviously, the President’s commitment remains not raising taxes for anyone making less than $400,000 a year. There are some — and I’m not sure if this is the case in this report — who argue that, in the past, companies have passed on these costs to consumers. I’m not sure if that’s the argument being made in this report. We feel that that’s unfair and absurd, and the American people would not stand for that.

But I will take a closer look at this report and get you a more substantive response.

[OCS: The proposed corporate tax increase is 23.81% (21% to 26%)]

[OCS: Even worse, when discussing the size of a $3.5 TRILLION spending bill]

MS. PSAKI: In terms of getting his — the agenda forward?

Well, I would say, one, it’s a hugely popular package. Each item in itself — that’s why I went through some of the specifics here — has broad support among the American public. But I would also say that if you talk to most Democrats who are in Congress, most certainly most Democrats in the country, there’s not disagreement about the fundamentals of what we’re trying to achieve. And there is agreement that we need to address the climate crisis; that we need to cut costs for childcare, for college; that we need to make it easier for women to rejoin the workforce; we need to rebuild and modernize our infrastructure. So, there’s not — there’s agreement on that.

There’s a basic discussion that needs to happen, or is ongoing — we’re right in the weeds of it now — on what the size of the package looks like.
But I will also note — and we’ve done this a little bit over the past couple days — but that this package — the reconciliation package would cost zero dollars.

[OCS: In what universe does any massive government package cost “zero dollars?”]
<Source>

Bottom line…

It appears that this nation, under the Democrats, from Lyndon Johnson to Joseph Biden, has been materially damaged and faces an existential threat.

The Democrats cannot be trusted with the safety and security of the United States. Their foreign and domestic policies have proven to be disasters – that can’t be blamed on former President Trump – that threaten our nation.  Even under President Trump, the “Democrat Resistance” thwarted Trump’s initiatives, which proved substantially beneficial to the country. The truth is, the Democrats must rail against Trump as their plans and policies are corrupt and more serve Communist China than U. S. citizens.

So many things are going wrong. You have to wonder if this level of chaos and dysfunction is deliberate in bringing about the chaos needed to drive people toward a bigger, more authoritarian government?

chaos = fear and dependency
stability and certainty  =  freedom and prosperity

WILL MICHAEL SUSSMANN BE THE THREAD THE UNRAVELS WHAT THE DEMOCRATS LABEL A CONSPIRACY?

SUSSMAN-UNRAVEL

From what we have learned and intuited from Special Counsel’s Durham’s indictment of Perkins Coie Attorney Michael Sussman, it appears that Sussmann appears to have played a central role in a conspiracy to bring about the pre-planned destruction of Donald Trump’s candidacy, and later his presidency, by linking Trump and/or his associates to the Russian government.

An alleged pattern and practice of using stage-managed technical information, conveyed to the FBI, the media, and others, using the Perkins Coie/Sussmann conduit, raises deeply troubling questions about another Clinton/DNC event – the alleged hacking of the DNC server by the Russians.

Were Michael Sussmann and Perkins Coie front and center in the DNC hacking matter, employing CrowdStrike to manufacture or massage evidence of Russian involvement?

The full intelligence apparatus of the United States government is relying on a report they have never even been allowed to see or confirm; that was created by a paid contractor for a political victim that would not allow the FBI to investigate their claim. The DNC server issue is foundation, and cornerstone, of the U.S. government’s position on “Russia hacking” and the election interference narrative; and that narrative is based on zero factual evidence to affirm the U.S. government’s position.

The narrative around the DNC hack claim was always sketchy; many people believe the DNC email data was downloaded onto a flash drive and leaked.  In a court filing (full pdf below) the scale of sketchy has increased exponentially.
Suspecting they could prove the Russian hacking claim was false, lawyers representing Roger Stone requested the full CrowdStrike report on the DNC hack.  When the DOJ responded to the Stone motion they made a rather significant admission.  Not only did the FBI not review the DNC server, the FBI/DOJ never even saw the CrowdStrike report.

This means the FBI and DOJ, and all of the downstream claims by the intelligence apparatus; including the December 2016 Joint Analysis Report and January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment, all the way to the Weissmann/Mueller report and the continued claims therein; were based on the official intelligence agencies of the U.S. government and the U.S. Department of Justice taking the word of a hired contractor for the Democrat party….. despite their inability to examine the server and/or actually see an unredacted technical forensic report from the investigating contractor. <Source>

The documented link…

MR. HENRY: [CrowdStrike Executive] Yes, sir. I worked with Michael Sussmann, who is counsel at Perkins Coie, when I was in the FBI, in the FBI Cyber Division, probably back in the early 2000s. Michael was an attorney at the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section at the Department of Justice, where I knew him. We had just a professional relationship.

MR. STEWART OF UTAH: I don't know if I asked-- oh, I asked you for the chronology. You just said the synopsis of what the memo that was provided you. If you could tell us, you know, what information it gave you.

MR. LASHWAY: [CrowdStrike Counsel] Just for the record, some of the comments we were just discussing, as Mr. Henry indicated, certain of the work that was performed was
performed at the behest of counsel, Perkins Coie, Mr. Sussmann's law firm.

Therefore, certain of that information, the DNC, as the client of Perkins Coie, has asserted privilege and some confidences over certain of that information, sir. And so we would turn to Perkins Coie, as counsel to the DNC, to ensure that Mr. Henry can actually answer some of these questions relating --some of that information that would otherwise be considered protected by the DNC, as the client.

MR. WILSON: [DNC Counsel from Perkins Coie] Yes, thank you. And on behalf of the DNC, the DNC takes the work of this committee and this investigation incredibly seriously. It was the victim of, you know, a horrible intrusion and wants to cooperate in every way that we can in order to provide this committee all the information it needs to get back.

[OCS: Except they refused to allow the FBI to examine the hacked server forensically. So there was never any definitive proof of either hacking or Russian involvement.]

So, as Mr. Lashway referenced, CrowdStrike was working for Perkins Coie and was performing work in order to help Perkins Coie advise the DNC on this matter.

MR. STEWART OF UTAH: If I can just clarify one thing you said. CrowdStrike was working for Perkins Coie. Is that the contract was actually with the law firm then?

MR. WILSON: Correct. We had a contract between Perkins Coie and Crowd Strike, with a scope of work for the DNC-specific work.

MR. STEWART OF UTAH: So does that mean that you never had a contract, Mr. Henry, with the DNC directly then?

MR. HENRY: I mentioned it was with Michael Sussmann from Perkins Coie.

MR. STEWART OF UTAH: Good. Thank you. <Source>

One might wonder…

“The foundation for the Russian election interference narrative is built on the claim of Russians hacking the servers of the Democrat National Committee (DNC), and subsequently releasing damaging emails that showed the DNC worked to help Hillary Clinton and eliminate Bernie Sanders.” <Source>

Perhaps a disgruntled staffer whose allegiance was to presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, who was systematically being attacked by DNC insiders loyal to Hillary Clinton, downloaded and leaked the contents of the DNC server? So why did the police and FBI rush to write off the unusual murder of Seth Rich, a DNC staffer with the access and apparent motive to download and leak sensitive information? Considering the volume of information taken, an intrusive online attack is less likely than a download. The logs denied to the FBI might have shown excessively long connect times necessary for a Russian hack.

For years the FBI claimed they had no information on Seth Rich, but then in December 2020 the FBI admitted they had documents and his laptop:

In January, the FBI said it never looked at Seth Rich’s laptop.  Why would they not look at it?  Is this something we can believe after years of delays by the FBI?  Next, it’s mentioned that someone took Seth Rich’s personal laptop back to their house.  There is much redaction and then the statement that they don’t know if the laptop had data deleted or changed.  Then the document is redacted to the end. <Source>

In FBI case documents that were made public, comes this tidbit "given [redacted] it is conceivable that an individual or group would want to pay for his death," A peculuiar thing to say about a DNC staffer. <Source>

Bottom line…

We just can’t trust the top ranks of the White House, CIA, Department of Justice, the FBI, and certainly not the two political lawyers at Perkins Coie.

We are so screwed.

CAILFORNIA CRAZINESS: EMPOWERING ILLEGAL ALIENS AND PUNISHING LAW-ABIDING CALIFORNIANS

Progressive-communist-democrats

Once again, the progressive communist democrat majority in California’s legislature and the man who wants to be king, Governor Gavin Newsom, have conspired to screw Californians.

You have no parental rights. Shut-up and pay the bill. No, we cannot tell you what it’s for.

With Assembly Bill AB 1184, “Medical information: confidentiality.” that prohibits insurance companies from revealing to the policyholder the “sensitive” services of anyone on their policy, including minor children, even though the policy owner is financially responsible for the services. The bill sponsored by Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California, allows minor children to hide life-threatening or life-altering medical procedures from their parents or legal guardians. “

“Sensitive” services include abortions, sexual assault treatment, drug abuse and mental health treatment, cross-sex hormones, puberty blockers, and sex-change operations. In California, minors can consent to all of these sensitive treatments after the age of 12 under certain conditions, and consent to abortions at any age.

Not only does this bill obliterate parental rights and the ability of parents or their legal guardians from protecting their young children, it makes insurance policyholders financially responsible for bills they did not incur or verify as appropriate and legitimate.

You can more easily targeted by criminals, anti-gun groups, the media  and your employer.

With Assembly Bill AB 173, “Public Safety,” the California Department of Justice is compelled to supply information identifying firearm and ammunition purchasers to a newly created research center at the University of California, Davis or any other “any other nonprofit bona fide research institution accredited by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, as specified, for the study of the prevention of violence.” that requests the information. Data points include unencrypted, non-anonymized name, address, date of birth, purchase details, purchase location and date, and other details.

Notice, there are no specific penalties for the unauthorized release of information or a specific right of an individual to recover damages from an unauthorized or “accidental” release of information. “Material identifying individuals shall only be provided for research or statistical activities and shall not be revealed or used for purposes other than research or statistical activities. Reports or publications derived therefrom shall not identify specific individuals.”

Giving illegal aliens a say in the Democrat Party.

With Senate Bill SB 714, “Democratic Party: county central committees: appointment and election” repeals a requirement that a person must be affiliated with the Democratic Party of California to be eligible for appointment to a Democratic Party county central committee and permits a person who is not a United States citizen to be elected to a Democratic Party county central committee if certain conditions are met.

Nobody should be surprised that the bill was sponsored by the Chicano Latino Caucus of the California Democratic Party as they continue to pander to illegal aliens who may become citizens beholden to the Democrat Party.

The only good news for today…

It appears that the former Minneapolis police officer, Derek Chauvin, convicted earlier this year for the May 2020 murder of George Floyd, has appealed his conviction that underlies a 22-year prison sentence. For some of us who followed the trial testimony, there is little doubt in my mind that Chauvin was the target of a politically motivated prosecution by politically motivated partisans who reacted to media reports. The jury was tainted by the illegal behavior of one or more jurors and motivated by the fear of public condemnation and another outbreak of riots by domestic terrorists should they render a not guilty verdict.

I do not believe Chauvin is a racist or necessarily conducted himself inappropriately on the fateful day when Floyd most likely died of a  self-inflicted drug overdose while resisting arrest. Unfortunately, the optics of the scene from a particular vantage point seemed to support an exploitable narrative by the race-baiters and those who profit from radicalized race relations.

The 14 issues cited by Chauvin in his appeal filing claiming he was prevented from receiving a fair and unbiased trial:

  1. The District Court abused its discretion when it denied Appellant’s motion for change of venue or new trial;
  2. The District Court abused its discretion when it denied Appellant’s motion for continuance or new trial;
  3. The District Court abused its discretion when it denied Appellant’s motions to sequester the jury throughout the trial;
  4. The State committed prejudicial prosecutorial misconduct;
  5. The District Court prejudicially erred when it concluded that the testimony of Morries Hall, or in the alternative Mr. Hall’s statements to law enforcement, did not fall under Minn. R. Evid. 804(b)(3) and was not a violation of Appellant’s constitutional confrontation rights;
  6. The District Court prejudicially erred when it permitted the State to present cumulative evidence with respect to use of force;
  7. The District Court abused its discretion when it ordered the State to lead witnesses on direct examination;
  8. The District Court abused its discretion when it failed to make an official record of the numerous sidebar conferences that occurred during trials;
  9. The District Court abused its discretion when it failed to allow Appellant to exercise several cause strikes for clearly biased jurors during voir dire;
  10. The District Court abused its discretion when it permitted the State to amend its complaint to add the charge of third-degree murder;
  11. The District Court abused its discretion when it strictly limited and undercut the admissibility of George Floyd’s May 6, 2019 arrest;
  12. The District Court abused its discretion when it submitted instructions to the jury that materially misstated the law;
  13. The District Court abused its discretion when it by denying Appellant’s motion for Schwartz hearing;
  14. The District Court abused its discretion when it denied Appellant’s post-verdict

A favorable ruling from the Minnesota Supreme Court -- the third-degree murder conviction of former Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor was reversed because Noor didn’t intend to harm anyone else when he shot and killed 40-year-old Justine Ruszczyk Damond in 2017.

But the political persecution extends beyond state courts; Chauvin faces additional politically motivated federal civil charges brought by hyper-partisans pandering to the black community.

Bottom line…

There is no other way to say it. We are so screwed.

THE "WHATABOUTISM" OF THE MARICOPA COUNTY AUDIT IN ARIZONA

Did anyone believe that the mainstream media moguls and tech tyrants with their social media “fact-checkers” would understand the Maricopa County audit reports and presentations and report them accurately and fairly?

DNC Statement on Arizona GOP’s “Audit” Report

“This baseless ‘audit’ has been a massive waste of taxpayer money and a dangerous attempt by extremist Republicans to undermine our democracy. In the ten months the Arizona GOP has spent relitigating an election they know President Joe Biden won fairly and spreading dangerous misinformation about the security of our elections as a ruse to restrict voting rights across the country. Every Republican peddling election misinformation will have to explain to their constituents why they spent their time undermining democracy on behalf of Donald Trump instead of delivering for their constituents.” <Source>

I find it supremely ironic that those election officials, Democrats, and talking heads who claimed that the Arizona audit was illegitimate and was conducted by unqualified partisans are now celebrating the audit as vindicating their original belief that the election was fair, honest, and accurate representation of the will of the people—using a top-line reading of the numbers without noting the magnitude of the discrepancies.

So let’s engage in what the Democrats are pejoratively labeling “Whataboutism.”

As I pointed out in yesterday’s blog, recounts can account for slight discrepancies in the totals – but do not address irregularities or illegally cast or counted ballots. In other words, the audit confirmed that the original counts were not grossly falsified without an accompanying ballot -- whether it was improperly collected before, during, or after the election deadline – or possibly manufactured following Election Day.

Count-1

Now, who will investigate, verify, and correct the official record based on these discovered issues?

  • 23, 344 ballots cast under voter registration IDs for people who may not have received their ballots by mail because no one with that name was at the address to which the ballot was sent.
  • 9,041 more ballots returned by voters than received.
  • 5,295 people who potentially voted in multiple counties.
  • 3,432 ballots that do not match the official results as to who voted.
  • 2,592 more duplicate ballots than original ballots
  • 2,382 people who had moved out of Maricopa County but recorded as voting in-person
  • 1,551 votes counted in excess of voters.

Curiously, one finding from MIT-degreed pattern recognition expert Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai’s team was not explicitly addressed. The finding of 17,126 duplicate early voting ballot images.

The analysis revealed various anomalies such as: 34,448 EVB return envelope images that were 2-Copy, 3-Copy and 4-Copy duplicates ("Duplicates") originating from 17,126 unique voters while no Duplicates were reported in Maricopa's CANVASS reported; 6,545 more unique EVB return envelopes reported by Maricopa than that by Echo Mail; 9,589 more EVB return envelopes with signatures in Maricopa's count; and, Maricopa's count of 587 "Bad Signatures" - equaling 0.031% of all EVB return envelopes received by Maricopa - appear to be surprisingly low, given that EchoMail itself, though not commissioned to audit or perf01m Signature Verification, detected 2,580 non-signature Scribbles, in the Signature Region, which would exceed Maricopa's "Bad Signatures" percentage of 0.031%, by over four times.  <Source>

Who will be held accountable for the mass deletions of files required by law to be retained for 22-months? It appears that the auditors may have documentary video evidence of who was at the keyboard of specific devices when the deletions occurred?

  • 865 directories and 85,673 Election Related Files (scanned ballots, .dvd files, slog.txt files, etc) were Deleted Between 10/28/20 and 11/05/20
  • 9,571 Directories and 1,064,746 Election Related Files Were Deleted Between 11/01/20 and 03/16/21
  • 304 Directories and 59,387 Files Containing Election Data Deleted From the HiPro Scanner 1 on 3 March 2021
  • 1,016 Directories and 196,463 Files Containing Election Data Deleted From the HiPro Scanner 3 on 3 March 2021
  • 981 Directories and 191,295 Files Containing Election Data Deleted From the HiPro Scanner 4 on 3 March 2021
  • Clear Intentional Overwriting of the Security Logs by the EMSADMIN Account
    • 2/11/2021 – 462 Log Entries Overwritten
    • 3/3/2021 - 37,686 Log Entries Overwritten
    • 4/12/2021 – 330 Log Entries Overwritten <Source>

If anything, the real drivers of election fraud had nothing to do with the actual handling of physical ballots…

Instead, it came from partisan politicians who used their pandemic-created “emergency powers” to change election rules and procedures that materially weakened the electoral system. It came from the mainstream media that canceled, censored, and spun scandalous news stories that may have had a material effect on the Biden candidacy. And it came from “irregular” voting practices, including the indiscriminate distribution of mail-in ballots, carefully positioned ballot drop boxes in critical areas, uncontrolled and unobserved ballot harvesting, and drive-thru collection points.

Bottom line…

According to the Audit's Executive Summary, the margin of victory was 10, 457 votes with 57,734 ballots with known issues. Issues the Democrats are not eager to explore.

There will be no overturning of the election results or decertification of the vote. The best “We the People” can hope for is an asterisk on the election, the removal of corrupt or incompetent election officials before 2022, and, of course, a strengthened electoral system with auditability, checks and balances, and real penalties for election fraud – and the will of the majority to impose them.

Other than that, we are so screwed.

PSEUDO-SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN'S NEW WOKENESS

Sci-am-racialWhat happened to my beloved magazine, Scientific American?

It appears that the radical progressive communist democrats and their culture of “wokeness” have become the editorial overlords of the magazine. With their pseudo-science, the pretense of knowledge, and incomprehensible word salads, the elite interpreters of the “science of culture” have injected their soul-crushing dogma into what was a formerly pleasant learning experience.

How effin crazy is it to argue over the appropriateness of acronyms as interpreted by individuals with a cognizable racial bias?

The acronym “JEDI” has become a popular term for branding academic committees and labeling STEMM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine) initiatives focused on social justice issues. Used in this context, JEDI stands for “justice, equity, diversity and inclusion.”

[OCS: Notice the inclusion of “medicine” into the traditional hard-science STEM acronym? Medicine, which is part science and part art, and as recently demonstrated, politicized nonsense that ignores science in favor of a political agenda.]

In recent years, this acronym has been employed by a growing number of prominent institutions and organizations, including the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.

At first glance, JEDI may simply appear to be an elegant way to explicitly build “justice” into the more common formula of “DEI” (an abbreviation for “diversity, equity and inclusion”), productively shifting our ethical focus in the process. JEDI has these important affordances but also inherits another notable set of meanings: It shares a name with the superheroic protagonists of the science fiction Star Wars franchise, the “Jedi.” Within the narrative world of Star Wars, to be a member of the Jedi is seemingly to be a paragon of goodness, a principled guardian of order and protector of the innocent. This set of pop cultural associations is one that someJEDI initiatives and advocates explicitly allude to.

[OCS: Is this an example of “pareidolia,” the perception of a recognizable image or meaningful pattern where none exists? Alternatively, a “woke author” inappropriately attempting to inject race into science or bring about a woke cultural correction?]

Whether intentionally or not, the labels we choose for our justice-oriented initiatives open them up to a broader universe of associations, branding them with meaning—and, in the case of JEDI, binding them to consumer brands. Through its connections to Star Wars, the name JEDI can inadvertently associate our justice work with stories and stereotypes that are a galaxy far, far away from the values of justice, equity, diversity and inclusion. The question we must ask is whether the conversations started by these connections are the ones that we want to have.

[OCS: The conversation I want to have starts with a question. How many normal individuals consider Yoda, the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order, in the context of race, or vice versa?]

As we will argue, our justice-oriented projects should approach connections to the Jedi and Star Wars with great caution, and perhaps even avoid the acronym JEDI entirely. Below, we outline five reasons why.

The Jedi are inappropriate mascots for social justice. Although they’re ostensibly heroes within the Star Wars universe, the Jedi are inappropriate symbols for justice work. They are a religious order of intergalactic police-monks, prone to (white) saviorism and toxically masculine approaches to conflict resolution (violent duels with phallic lightsabers, gaslighting by means of “Jedi mind tricks,” etc.). The Jedi are also an exclusionary cult, membership to which is partly predicated on the possession of heightened psychic and physical abilities (or “Force-sensitivity”). Strikingly, Force-wielding talents are narratively explained in Star Wars not merely in spiritual terms but also in ableist and eugenic ones: These supernatural powers are naturalized as biological, hereditary attributes. So it is that Force potential is framed as a dynastic property of noble bloodlines (for example, theSkywalker dynasty), and Force disparities are rendered innate physical properties, measurable via “midi-chlorian” counts (not unlike a “Force genetics” test) and augmentable via human(oid) engineering. The heroic Jedi are thus emblems for a host of dangerously reactionary values and assumptions. Sending the message that justice work is akin to cosplay is bad enough; dressing up our initiatives in the symbolic garb of the Jedi is worse.

[OCS: Every time I hear the phrase “justice work,” I think of community organizing rooted in communism and an attempt to overthrow the greatest nation on the face of the Earth in favor of despotic slavery by a cadre of self-proclaimed elites. Many of which are credentialed and experienced in narrow disciplines, but who lack commonsense and are somewhat psychotic.

You will notice that the descriptive labeling of the fictional Jedi is replete with the radical left jargon of division. The idea of “white saviorism” is somewhat nonsensical as Yoda is a small, green humanoid alien with prodigious powers. A fictional sexless character.]

This caution about JEDI can be generalized: We must be intentional about how we name our work and mindful of the associations any name may bring up—perhaps particularly when such names double as existing words with complex histories.

Star Wars has a problematic cultural legacy. The space opera franchise has been critiqued for trafficking in injustices such as sexism, racism and ableism. Think, for example, of the so-called “Slave Leia” costume, infamous for stripping down and chaining up the movie series’ first leading woman as part of an Orientalist subplot. Star Wars arguably conflates “alienness” with “nonwhiteness,” often seeming to rely on racist stereotypes when depicting nonhuman species. The series regularly defaults onto ableist tropes, memorably in its portrayal of Darth Vader, which links the villain’s physical disability with machinic inhumanity and moral deviance, presenting his technology-assisted breathing as a sinister auditory marker of danger and doom. What’s more, the bodies and voices centered in Star Wars have, with few exceptions, historically been those of white men. And while recent films have increased gender and racial diversity, important questions remain regarding how meaningfully such changes represent a departure from the series’ problematic past. Indeed, a notable segment of the Star Wars fandom has aggressively advocated the (re)centering of white men in the franchise, with some equating recent casting decisions with “white genocide.” Additionally, the franchise’s cultural footprint can be tracked in the saga of United States military-industrial investment and expansion, from debates around Reagan’s “Star Wars” Strategic Defense Initiative to the planned Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure (another “JEDI” program), sometimes winkingly framed with Star Wars allusions. Taken together, the controversies surrounding Star Wars make JEDI at best an inappropriate way to brand justice work—a kind of double-edged sword (or better yet, double-bladed “lightsaber”). At worst, this way of branding our initiatives is freighted with the very violence that our justice work seeks to counter.

When we consider the relationship of JEDI to Star Wars and its fraught cultural legacy, a more general caution comes into view: When we label our initiatives, we must be careful about the universe of narratives and symbols within which we situate our work—and the cultural associations and meanings that our projects may take on, as a result. <Source>

Bottom line…

Regardless of the author’s opinion and characterization of a fictional world populated by fictional characters, we are witnessing the continuing degradation of science by injecting racialized politics and the language of the left into every aspect of our life. This prescription for cultural disaster spreads far beyond the now-toxic academy that appears to demand that science serve politics rather than inform rational decision-making.

We are now seeing this trend toward racialization and politicization crippling science by funding studies based on hypotheses with favorable political outcomes and ignoring studies that might falsify or fail to validate existing studies.

Moreover, inventing academic disciplines without an organized body of knowledge, critical thinking, sound argumentation, a sense of ethical responsibilities, and the use of credible and credited sources. Disciplines that launch with a negative bias and extreme hatred of the United States, its existing culture, and its political system – featuring a pre-ordained conclusion that the old system must be destroyed in favor of a [insert your brand of communism here] –based society. A hypothetical world that cannot exist in a world where human nature is not subjugated by force.

We are so screwed.

MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA AUDIT -- DID SOMEONE GET CONNED?

It appears that those hyper-partisans and grifters surrounding the Trump campaign to overturn the election were disappointed as all of the fantastic claims about the promised results of this audit fizzled out like wet fireworks.

az-puzzle

It appears that the mainstream media is engaging in a bit of “see, I told you so, now move along.”

While the numbers generally appear close to the official record, with several anomalies that cannot be used to decertify or overturn an election – or even generate widespread outrage, the real story is one of obstruction of justice by election officials.

Count-1Remember, these are raw counts with no adjustment for anomalous “unconfirmed and legally accepted” findings.

FACT: RE-COUNTS CAN ACCOUNT FOR SLIGHT DISCREPANCIES IN THE TOTALS -- BUT DO NOT ADDRESS IRREGULARITIES OR ILLEGALLY CAST OR COUNTED BALLOTS.

The devil is in the details and demands resolution...

• None of the various systems related to elections had numbers that would balance and agree with each other. In some cases, these differences were significant.
• There appears to be many 27, 807 ballots cast from individuals who had moved prior to the election.
• Files were missing from the Election Management System (EMS) Server.
• Ballot images 284,412 on the EMS were corrupt or missing.
• Logs appeared to be intentionally rolled over, and all the data in the database related to the 2020 General Election had been fully cleared.
• On the ballot side, batches were not always clearly delineated, duplicated ballots were missing the required serial numbers, originals were duplicated more than once, and the Auditors were never provided Chain-of- Custody documentation for the ballots for the time-period prior to the ballot’s movement into the Auditors’ care. This all increased the complexity and difficulty in properly auditing the results; and added ambiguity into the final conclusions.
• Maricopa County failed to follow basic cyber security best practices and guidelines from CISA  (U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency)
• Software and patch protocols were not followed
• Credential management was flawed: unique usernames and passwords were not allocated
• Lack of baseline for host and network activity for approved programs, communications protocols and communications devices for voting systems

More specifically…

FindindsFor those who wish to download the in-depth reports and presentations, they can be found on the official website of the Arizona State Senate’s Republican Caucus.

Bottom line…

As for the professionalism of the auditors, I believe they did a credible job under difficult and overly restrictive conditions. Conditions were made worse by the active opposition of those officials who governed the election process.

It is still a stalemate, with election officials refusing to turn over additional subpoenaed materials, the voting system vendor refusing to provide passwords, and the election officials joining with the Democrats to legally prevent a canvass of actual voters to verify the anomalies.

Clearly, there is a case for obstruction of justice, impeding an official investigation, and perhaps individual blame for actions taken by election officials or those acting as their agents and at their direction.

One wonders why the election officials and Democrats spent so much time, energy, and money on delaying the audit – or destroying evidence – if the results were generally inconclusive? What are they hiding, and how will the election be supervised in the 2022 mid-term elections? At the very least, every election official should be removed from office and replaced by non-partisan professionals willing to volunteer their services.

This is not the affirmatively "clean bill of health" that the Democrats and their media propagandists are portraying.

The winning margin is still razor-thin -- and the discrepancies still far exceed the margin of victory.

We are so screwed.

IS THE U.S. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE UN-AMERICAN?

The United States Chamber of Commerce does not give a damn about America…

I used to think that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce looked out for American businesses as it lobbied Congress to bring about conditions favorable to all businesses. Unfortunately, reality intruded, and I realized that the organization only lobbied for the largest businesses, many multi-national globalists. Small business and the United States be damned.

So I was not surprised that the Chamber is trying to trap the GOP into supporting the progressive communist democrats so the businesses the Chamber supports can feed off the massive spending bills put forth by radical Democrats. They do not seem to care that the GOP would severely impact their 2022 and 2024 electoral opportunities by supporting the Democrat’s profligate spending. Spending that will drive America further into inflation.

Their position is one of fiscal irresponsibility and materially damaging to the GOP…

EXCLUSIVE: U.S. Chamber of Commerce pressing House Republicans to save $1.2T infrastructure bill

Liberal, moderate Democrats still divided over fate of two massive Biden spending bills

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is pressuring House Republicans to save President Biden’s $1.2 trillion infrastructure package in the face of rising opposition from far-left Democrats.

A whip list the Chamber is using to build support for the package, obtained exclusively by The Washington Times, indicates it’s targeting 57 potential GOP members who might support a centerpiece of Mr. Biden’s domestic agenda. The Chamber hopes to flip enough Republicans to overcome heavy opposition from the 98-member Congressional Progressive Caucus, who say liberal priorities are being lost as Mr. Biden tries to sell his spending programs on the Hill.

The list of Republicans being courted is both ideologically and geographically diverse. The Chamber is pursuing centrists like Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania and staunch conservatives such as Kelly Armstrong of North Dakota, alike. The business lobby has long backed more government spending on the roads, bridges and other physical infrastructure featured in the $1.2 trillion package.

[OCS: Physical infrastructure is a very small part of the spending package which supports numerous Democrat initiatives that have everything to do with strengthening the Democrats and weakening the GOP. This is a classic Democrat bait-and-switch.]

In courting support for the bill, the Chamber is using a three-tier approach. Republican lawmakers who have already committed to voting for the bill make up the first tier. Eleven GOP lawmakers have so far pledged their support to the Chamber.

Five of those, including Reps. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois and Jamie Herrera Butler of Washington, voted earlier this year to impeach former President Trump for his role in the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol.

Others, such as GOP Reps. David McKinley of West Virginia and Don Bacon of Nebraska, have taken stances directly opposed by Mr. Trump even if they did not support impeachment. Mr. McKinley and Mr. Bacon, for instance, backed Democratic efforts earlier this year to investigate the Jan 6. incident.

Apart from those who have outright committed to backing the infrastructure bill, the Chamber has identified 46 additional House Republicans that are “worth trying to flip.”

Of that figure, 24 lawmakers are categorized as being in “tier two.” These lawmakers have privately told the Chamber and its lobbyists they view the [infrastructure] bill favorably but have not come out in support.” Members include GOP Reps. Mike Gallagher of Wisconsin, Peter Meijer of Michigan and Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio, among others.

The 22 Republicans in the third tier, according to the Chamber, are seen as “further away from a yes [vote] but still worth trying to flip.” <Source>

Who are the 11 GOP traitors in the first tier?

  • Fitzpatrick (PA-01)
  • Katko (NY-24)
  • Kinzinger (IL-16)
  • Reed (NY-23)
  • Upton (MI-06)
  • Rogers (KY-05)
  • Garbarino (NY-02)
  • McKinley (WV-01)
  • Bacon (NE-02)
  • Herrerra Buetler (WA-03)
  • Armstrong (ND-AL)

 The Democrats do not need any GOP members to pass their bills.

To the extent that the radical far-left communists are trying to bully the party into building more communist-friendly items into the spending package is a Democrat problem. If any GOP member should vote with the Democrats, they should be immediately be censured by the caucus, stripped of all committee assignments, lose all GOP funding, and primaried in 2022.

voteCan Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell enforce GOP discipline?

Republicans Won’t Vote to Raise Debt Limit Given Democrats’ Partisan Budget Plans: McConnell

Senate Republicans won’t vote to raise the country’s debt limit because of Democrats’ plans to spend trillions of dollars, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and other Republican leaders said on Sept. 22.

The House of Representatives voted this week along party lines to approve a bill that includes suspending the debt limit until after the 2022 midterm elections. The Senate plans to vote on the measure next week.

“We all agree, America must never default. The debt ceiling will need to be raised,” McConnell told reporters in Washington.

But the Democrats’ “reckless” spending plans, including one measure that’s been pegged at $3.5 trillion, and the way in which Democrats have been operating “on a partisan basis,” means that the party will have to figure out how to raise the debt ceiling without Republican votes, according to McConnell.

“The Democrats can deal with us all by themselves, because they have the House, the White House, and the Senate. So this is their responsibility,” said Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.), the National Republican Senatorial Committee chairman.

Democrats have a 220–212 majority in the House and a one-vote majority in the evenly split Senate, thanks to their control of the White House. <Source>

Bottom line…

Companies like Nike and Disney who have no problem bowing to Communist China, benefiting from slave labor, and overlooking egregious human rights abuses such as organ harvesting and concentration camps, are typical U.S. Chamber of Commerce members. They are also in alignment with the progressive communist democrats. They are more about increasing market share, profits, and executive compensation than the survival of our Constitution, our nation, and democracy.

Let us vote for America and punish any GOP member that aisle-hops and supports the progressive communist democrats.

We are so screwed.

EVER WONDER WHY THE MEDIA IS ALWAYS SO WRONG?

They cannot distinguish between right and left…

RIGHT-VS-LEFT

They do not vet their experts…

CLIMATE-EXPERTS

They rely on a politically corrupted law enforcement agency that appears to be at the heart of most alleged terrorist threats…

fbi-clouseu

And they mix news with narrative from their own unique perspective…

Head-up-assHow else can you explain the failure of NBC, MSNBC, and other media outlets to miss one of the greatest stories never told – in the face of incontrovertible and overwhelming evidence?

NBC-MSNBC-FAIL

The refusal of the media to cover such an egregious assault on our democracy is an example of corporate-driven media corruption. Consider their direct interference in the election with their coverage of the Hunter Biden laptop scandal that implicated candidate Joe Biden.

The Obama plot featuring Hillary Clinton…

obama-biden-clinton-plot

The Sussmann indictment…

Does the indictment of Perkins Coie attorney Michael Sussmann for lying to the FBI pull the thread that will unravel the Alfa Bank hoax narrative about Trump’s alleged secret channel of communications with the Russian government? And lead to the broader hoax involving the Steele Dossier and the nation’s premier intelligence and law enforcement agencies?

If the internet assumptions about the identities in the Sussman indictment are accurate, will the linkage look like this flowchart?

"Russian Bank-1" — Alfa Bank.
"Law Firm-1" —  Perkins Coie
"[Campaign Lawyer-1" — Marc Elias
"Tech Executive-1" — Rodney Joffe
"Internet Company-1" — Neustar  (“Neustar Enables Trusted Connections Between Companies and People at the Moments That Matter Most.”)
"Investigative Firm-1" — Fusion GPS

Sussman-indictment-flowAnd is this the beginning of a broader hacking probe as looks like Rodney Joffe, Senior Vice President, Security CTO, and Fellow at Neustar, Inc., may have inappropriately accessed private, proprietary, and confidential data using unauthorized access to computer networks.

Bottom line…

Look for the Democrats to throw everything into protection against charges which will materially damage the players and the party for years to come, including attempting to use partisan or conflicted judges to destroy a sitting president.

I wonder if anyone else is paying attention to the fact that the Federal District Court Judge, Christopher Cooper, who heard the initial Sussmann “not guilty” plea is a well-connected Obama-appointed Democrat married to the lawyer representing the disgraced FBI lawyer Lisa Page.

Peter Strzok’s lover Page oversaw the FBI’s Trump probe and is likely to be called as a material witness at some point. Moreover, Cooper was a “professional acquaintance” with Sussmann at the Department of Justice in the 1990s. Definitely grounds for a voluntary or forced recusal.

Look for the media to concoct fantastical stories. And worst of all, watch for Biden’s handlers to create a staged conflict with Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan,  or North Korea as a diversion.

We are so screwed.
