Communist China uses America's humiliation to condition the battlefield in Taiwan...

We are in the midst of a generational global humiliation that will cost every American dearly. The Democrats have just empowered another source of state-sponsored terrorism while keeping our borders open to terrorists. And like the first action of the Taliban terrorists, they are trying to disarm the law-abiding civilian population. But it gets worse, and the media moguls and tech tyrants are censoring the news that the Chinese Communists are attempting to erode the Taiwanese confidence in America as an ally.

Communist China is using America’s humiliation as a warning to Taiwan. Are they conditioning the battlefield with propaganda?

Afghan abandonment a lesson for Taiwan’s DPP: Global Times editorial

The US troops' withdrawal from Afghanistan has led to the rapid demise of the Kabul government. The world has witnessed how the US evacuated its diplomats by helicopter while Taliban soldiers crowded into the presidential palace in Kabul. This has dealt a heavy blow to the credibility and reliability of the US.

Many people cannot help but recall how the Vietnam War ended in 1975: The US abandoned its allies in South Vietnam; Saigon was taken over; then the US evacuated almost all its citizens in Saigon.

And in 2019, US troops withdrew from northern Syria abruptly and abandoned their allies, the Kurds.

Some historians also point out that abandoning allies to protect US interests is an inherent flaw that has been deeply rooted in the US since the founding of the country.

Taiwan is probably the US' most cost-effective ally in East Asia. There is no US military presence on the island of Taiwan. The way the US maintains the alliance with Taiwan is simple: It sells arms to Taiwan while encouraging the DPP authorities to implement anti-mainland policies through political support and manipulation. As a result, it has caused a certain degree of depletion between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits.

And what Washington has to do is only to send warships and aircraft near the Straits from time to time. In general, the US does not have to spend a penny on Taiwan. Instead, it makes money through arms sales and forced pork and beef sales to the island. This is totally a profitable geopolitical deal for Washington.

Once a cross-Straits war breaks out while the mainland seizes the island with forces, the US would have to have a much greater determination than it had for Afghanistan, Syria, and Vietnam if it wants to interfere. A military intervention of the US will be a move to change the status quo in the Taiwan Straits, and this will make Washington pay a huge price rather than earn profit.

Some people on the island of Taiwan hype that the island is different from Afghanistan, and that the US wouldn't leave them alone. Indeed, the island is different from Afghanistan. But the difference is the deeper hopelessness of a US victory if it gets itself involved in a cross-Straits war. Such a war would mean unthinkable costs for the US, in front of which the so-called special importance of Taiwan is nothing but wishful thinking of the DPP authorities and secessionist forces on the island. <Source>

[OCS: Propaganda, of course! But there is a kernel of truth in the editorial. The feckless Biden Administration is weak and without true leadership. Behind the scenes are Obama’s social justice warriors advancing a socialist/communist ideological agenda.

Will the United States abandon Taiwan and then South Korea? Can a re-armed Japan step into the breach?

Is this all a distraction to deflect attention from the Chinese Communist Party’s engineered global pandemic? And calls for reprisals and reparations?]

China-US cooperation in Afghanistan depends on US' China policy: Global Times editorial

China doesn't take advantage of other's perilous state but hopes that Afghanistan can realize a peaceful transition and end chaos for good. Putting an end to battles as soon as possible is clearly conducive for the vision to bring all Afghan people to a better life.

In his conversation with Blinken, Wang Yi opposed the US move that it engages in deliberate all-around suppression of China to harm China's interests but asks China to cooperate with it.

It is very necessary at this moment to directly point out that the US is a strategic rogue.

China will be keen to restore order in Afghanistan and promote reconstruction of this war-torn country, but it has no obligation to help the US get out of a strategic dilemma that entirely belongs to Washington. When the US is maliciously carrying out strategic coercion and containment against China, there is no need for China to win US favor by rendering good for evil. That will not work. <Source>

[OCS: The Chinese and Russians are already moving into the area to fill a power vacuum created by Biden’s precipitous actions. Of course, the Biden Administration is pouring millions into the Taliban’s pockets to maintain the appearance of relative peace for the rest of the withdrawal.]

Warning: about the happy talk from the Taliban...

Consider for a moment what the Taliban is telling the media about freedom of the press, women's rights, not attacking innocents -- it's all bullpucky -- coming from a religion that teaches lying as a tactical strategy. To believe those true believers would instantly give up centuries of behavior to satisfy the sensibilities of unbelievers is both dangerous and foolish. Yet the American political pundits are repeating these falsehoods without critical commentary. Another liberal fantasy that will get people killed.

One reason they are not attacking our fleeing people is that they know that the Presidential Palace, Bagram Airbase, and other infrastructure can be instantly leveled with stand-off weapons without even entering Afghanistan's airspace.  When the cameras stop rolling, the beheadings, eye-gouging, and rapes of children will continue.

Bottom line…

Since the Obama Administration, we have seen that the Democrats have been weak on defense, defunding the military, and promoting officers more based on their politics than military competence. Does one wonder how effective they will be in curtailing the abandonment of our allies when it comes to NATO and other global initiatives? Biden was a known quantity to the Democrats: an empty suit that could be easily manipulated by the Obamacons. This is a Democrat disaster, no matter how much they might point at Trump.

While the tough-talking Trump Administration was feared, more for their unpredictability and impulsive reactions, Trump was too lazy, unfocused, or transactional to fully clean house, leaving Obama’s ideological friends buried within the administration. Many of them rising to greater influence and power during the Biden Administration due to the incapacity of President Joe Biden to fulfill his presidential duties.

The only question that remains is, Was the Afghan debacle deliberate and part of Obama’s anti-America, pro-Muslim strategy? Something, if it failed, that could be blamed on Trump?

Forget the Afghans; look what our government is doing to our own citizens, thousands possibly trapped behind enemy lines by Democrat perfidy.

We are so screwed.
