Have you ever considered what non-mainstream individuals with marginal or unmarketable skills do for a living in a commercial world?

If you have name recognition and can find backers, run for office and start building your fortune at the taxpayer’s expense.

If you have a limited amount of money, become a community organizer and/or affiliate yourself with an organization where you can pursue your personal agenda at the organization's expense.

If you have a little more money, purchase a beggar’s license, also known as a tax-exempt foundation, and attract a following of like-minded crazies, many of whom might be rich or have status-seeking rich friends.

Prerequisites:

(1) You must be prepared to spout progressive socialist, communist, and Democrat bullshit and bafflegab. You cannot come from the right side of the political spectrum. These adherents often use facts and logic, whereas people on the left side of the political spectrum use emotion that makes facts and logic irrelevant to their cause.

(2)  You must “talk the talk.” It helps if you can string buzzwords together in a word-salad that means little or nothing.

(3)  You need a media-grabbing hook, preferably one that goes viral on social media. 

Provide a “celebrity hook”…

Bottom line…

You really must admire the audacity of grifters living on OPM (Other People’s Money) and the hypocrisy of the fashion industry that babbles about sustainability but relies on seasonal vanity trends rather than sustainable standards to drive profits.

There is little doubt in my mind that the progressives want to destroy free speech that pokes fun at them (Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals #5 ) or reveals their hypocrisy and dishonesty.
